81  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a good move by national bank of Ukraine on: April 28, 2022, 09:46:33 PM
The purpose of this is basically putting money back in to the nation. Everyone forgets this fact but the reality is that Ukraine is not just in war and loses money because of that, it also has people who flee the country and taking their valuables with them as well. This could be money, this could be gold, this could be anything. Which means that money is leaving the nation each time someone runs away with it.

So, if crypto is allowed and legal and even supported, then we would guess that people would be bringing money back in to the nation in form of digital currency, because crypto can't be bombed, and that would certainly help the nation in the long run as well.

We need to understand that they are in crisis right now, and the government wants to contain their funds as much as possible. This action may change once they are out of the war and they are starting to re-build their economy. However, for now, they will be looking for options on how to keep those funds within their jurisdiction and not use their local fiat outside. I strong believe that things will change once this war is over.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best online sportsbooks this 2022 on: April 17, 2022, 10:26:08 PM
Well, this is subjective and will depend on the opinion of everyone so the majority will say what's the best for them.

Have you tried playing in on bk8? If you haven't, you can take time and play with them to check it out. The two bookies that you've mentioned are also known.

But if there's someone who wants to check the other bookies, this is what's good in this community. There's a lot of choice that you can spend your time with to test almost all of them if you want to.
You should not only rely based on the ideas of other members, as simply they have their all time favorite that makes them work for them. But there are a lot of best online sportsbooks that you have to choose, and you can only tell which one will fit for you if you start exploring and making experience with them. Each sportsbook has its own great offers and bonuses, so try it with yourself and only by then, you will have an idea which works best for you.

Each bettor has their own priorities like withdrawal fees, KYC requirements, minimum deposits, bonuses and others. So yes, it depends on the bettor himself which factors are important for him and from that, he can chose from these reputable bookies available. Because for example, he is only a small bettor, then he will avoid sportsbooks with higher minimum withdrawal and just go to a bookie with no minimum withdrawal requirement. But of course, it is better to choose a sportsbook where you can find the support in the forum.
83  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teachers deserve more on: April 12, 2022, 09:45:05 PM
Teachers are doing a great job to raise children to be meaningful to solve problems around the world. Non qualified  teachers are the ones who are spoiling the works of qualified teachers. If we should really look into the role teachers are playing all over the world then we will get to understand teachers truly deserve more.

This is why some educators are going overseas or to countries that have good compensation. And we can't blame them if their government can't even provide good payout. We know they deserve good package but it depends on the financial capability of the government. If not, most private schools are offering good salary but look at the longer term benefits. I can agree that some of our teachers have great impact on what we are today.
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can The World Most Powerful Man Putin Be Assassinated? on: April 05, 2022, 09:15:41 PM
Can he be assassinated? of course
There are many people in Russia who are opposed to both Putin and this crazy war

Will he be assassinated? probably not
He has surrounded himself with the people who will support him no matter what,
yes men! It would be difficult to get to him but anything is possible.

It is becoming increasingly evident of war crimes being commited by retreating
Russian forces so I imagine the proper route would be to try him for those wrongs
in an international court of law rather than trying to eliminate him.

But do you think he will let those people put him in international court of law? I guess, he will avoid it as much as he can, and won't appear in public anymore. Even if we say, he committed war crimes, I don't think he will subject himself easily to this public trial. Who knows, right now, someone is getting paid to assassinate Putin, but with his security, I don't think they can?
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell people about bitcoin but don't force them to invest on: March 28, 2022, 11:14:48 PM
I don't point out to people for them to make a particular investment, I only tell them about investment if only they ask and I give them more explanation concerning the investment , after that it is up to them for them to invest or not. When I tell people about investing I make sure they know about it from all angles.
It is supposed not to force anyone. It is their well to invest, not because someone did influence them. In fact, some of my friends know I was in crypto and I don't encourage them to follow what I did. Because those who want to invest will certainly ask and keep asking how but if they don't, I simply don't bother myself to tell them either.

We have to avoid being blamed because of their losses and because of their mistakes. Let them understand that before investing they also know the possible results and difficulties to encounter in order for them to decide or just forget it.

As this market is full of uncertainty, it is indeed hard to advise someone to invest on this market. Good if someone is willing to listen, but you need to make sure that he knows the consequences of getting into this market. Because you can't assure that his strategy will work or not, depending on the coin that he's about to get involved with. If they are serious about investing on this market, they will also dig facts on their own, and study the market.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradig Course - Beginner on: March 21, 2022, 05:13:53 PM
the free ones available are plentiful, if you are a beginner why should you pay for the course. You should try the free ones, once you understand the basics you should develop them with paid courses. it will make it easier for you to understand quickly. and you will know which comparison of paid and free courses is more accurate. I think the philanthropists will also give away for free and they will be honest.
Personally I would not bother with paid courses, it is true that you are going to be given the information in a more friendly format but the costs are simply too high, you could save yourself the time and the money and just learn by reading books, books are way cheaper than the price of any course, and even more importantly the information that you will receive will be many times deeper, so I do not see the point of ever paying for a trading course.

There are so many free tutorials already. You don't need to pay for this as it is better to use such funds in trying this in one of the reputable exchanges like Binance or kucoin. If the OP is in hurry and hoping to get high profits, I think, he needs to assess that goal. There are links that are provided above, even here in this trading board, he can already get free tutorials. Start small, and grasp the basics first. No rush if you want real experience in trading.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit expecting a ETH killer on: March 18, 2022, 11:32:45 PM
It's getting annoying to see people talking about a project is the next Ethereum killer, for how long are we going to keep this up? So far there are so many ETH killers that haven't taken a single shot at Ethereum, this has proven that Ethereum isn't a project that any new coin or token can just take over like that, it has never been easy.
So far, that is only the way they promote and make the new projects as competitors of Ethereum higher and higher. Although some older projects that want to compete with Ethereum, cannot. Although we know that sometimes, the projects serve better services, speeds, and also low fees, in fact, they cannot still beat Ethereum.
There is only a few approaches but not killing, like Binance or BNB, they are competing, but not killing for now... Just let it be, let others there with their pross and cons.

Remember before the rise of claim of ethereum killers, there were a lot of old projects claiming to be bitcoin killers? But where are they now? Most of them are dead and forgotten. But when it comes to eth competitors, at least they are trying to survive in this market. Just look at BSC, SOL, MATIC - they are pretty solid platforms that are already up and running offering cheaper fees. But surpassing ETH network is still far. And once ETH resolved their gas fee problem, I believe people will go back again to this network. But at least, with the rise of its competitors comes other alternatives for crypto users.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever been to Thailand? on: March 15, 2022, 11:17:53 PM
I just want to say, just be cautious because if you knew them via internet, how sure are you that you will not get rekt upon reaching this country? You have your motive, they have their motive, so it is up to you how you will proceed. But this country is not an english-speaking country, so yes, it would be good if you have a local to guide you. However, you should know the possible consequences, just saying...Cost of living is pretty cheap, food and lodging.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: March 14, 2022, 12:42:00 PM
I am not in favor of Putin, but I think that despite his strategy of senseless deaths of Ukrainians, including children, which for me are crimes against humanity, there is great intelligence there, the bad thing is that it is used to cause pain , and bring disgrace to many people and families, but I have not yet seen Putin's mistake, his macabre plan has been disguising it under a motto of "I am defending myself against sanctions that are a declaration of war for the Russian people" under this scheme it is obvious that he is taking advantage of certain laws and diplomacy that cannot be ruled out, the only mistake is that he gets into a OTAN country and attacks them, and I think that will not happen.

Putin's main mistake is that he attacked Ukraine at all. He is already bogged down in this war and he cannot win this war. Moreover, Ukraine has already inflicted a serious defeat on Russian troops in terms of manpower and equipment, and together with harsh sanctions, this may well destroy Russia itself. If Putin is not killed in the near future from his own entourage, then he himself will die of brain cancer, this disease is already in his fourth stage. But the consequences of the war with Ukraine will be felt by Russians for many decades to come and for many generations to come. Ukraine will quickly recover with the help of the United States and European countries, and Russia will face poverty and a rollback of a hundred years ago in development.

The mistake that I am seeing here is that Russian's soldiers, with Putin's orders, are bombing civilians, maternity hospitals, which is extremely against humanity. This is why people are identifying this as murderous act and people will not forget about this war. Even journalists are getting killed without a fight. They are breaking the laws of war. It won't be a surprise if Putin will lose his power if he will pursue more damaging methods towards Ukraine. The world is watching so they can't hide what they will do to the people of Ukraine. We are in this digital age where everything now can be recorded and send those images or videos to other parts of the world.
90  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 06, 2022, 11:12:47 PM
To incentivize russian citizens to go against the government can bring much better results than boycotting.

But, it is precisely the boycott of Russian activity in sport, business and culture that aims to make the citizens force the government to stop the war. When Russian citizens feel that Russia as a country is not accepted in the world, they will pressure the government to stop military activities. Protests in Russia are very quickly suppressed and people arrested. It is the whole society that must put pressure on the government, and it is boycotts and international sanctions that are supposed to do that.
It's a possibility russian citizens will pressure the government once they see they are being put aside by the world, but there is also the possibility the local government turns the citizens' minds against the world for the economical and social difficulties they are facing. So they unite themselves as nation, by the hate, frustration and resentment they feel regards countries which imposed sanctions on them.

A common russian businessman can simply conclude even though he doesn't support the government or the invasion, he is still being prejudiced by boycotts, so why should he be sympathetic to the end of the conflict since nobody has empathy for his own daily life and survival?

At the end of the day, they are worried about their survival. I am certain, a lot of these Russian business will declare bankruptcy owed to this war. But if you are a regular gambler, it depends on what's your take about the situation. Like for example, if you are a patron of one of these casinos even before this war happens, do you think you will change your mind because of the situation, even if they are not doing anything to you? So for me, weigh your options and be fair as much as possible. Most of these Russians don't want to be in this hot seat right now. They are also humans like us, they need to survive.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🌎 Ocean Guardian Token 🌎— A Blockchain Solution to Ocean pollution 🌍 on: March 06, 2022, 09:14:08 PM
As I have noticed, only newbies are posting here and praising the project. I hope they are not part of the minions of the dev team. When I checked the site, they have several partnerships already. Can we see the links or any articles stating their partnership to this project? Or even tweets from their social media account. Also, can you also include the profile references of the team. I don't know how others can say nice team, it means, they know the team themselves. But how?
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised Exchanges are the Biggest Enemies of Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 05:54:04 PM
Decentralized exchanges are only good for casually exchanging small amounts, not for professional trading and big operations. DEXes still rely on traditional financial system for fiat payments, there's no way around it. So, without centralized exchanges Bitcoin market and price discovery simply won't exist.

I can understand the disappointment of the OP but this is the sad reality that we need to accept. These centralized exchanges, if they are operating legally, need to be under the jurisdiction of the government to get their license to operate. And with the license comes with the abiding of the laws and regulations, hence, requiring KYC from all their customers. But to increase adoption, we need CEXs, as many people are confident on using these trading platforms. Aside from that, they can find important coins to trade in CEXs, whereas, in DEXs, the tokens are limited.
93  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 06, 2022, 11:39:51 AM
1. You need to have a lot money to start.

It is emphasized and it's the most important thing when starting a casino.

With money, you'll be able to invest in the promotional need of the business, you can make your site look decent to compete with the existing ones, and with money, you can always hire people to work for you on the aspects that are necessary for running an online casino business.

Lastly, use this forum to advertise, I think it's a great idea as we have millions of users, and getting even 10% of that market is huge enough to affect the profitability of the business.

This item 1 is usually ignored by fly-by-night casinos because they are thinking that they can lure users that will send money to their site without any question. But if you are sincere in this business, bankroll is the number 1 to be taken care of. This is why you need private investors if you can't afford to shell out your own funds. Before, if you are a new casino here, some members will ask for your bankroll amount along with the address where it is being stored at. But now, very few are disclosing this amount, so maybe, users stop inquiring about this aspect because it is hard to extract from the owners.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2022, 09:50:45 AM
I Don't support borrowing money from others source and invest into cryptocurrencies because cryptocurrencies market always uncertain in nature and don't realize how the cryptocurrencies market be stabled? So if I get losses in borrow money, then how can pay my borrow money?
but if you borrow money to buy when the market is bearish, it's really a very wise move...

the crypto market will never be stable but if you can take advantage of opportunities when the market is bearish then I can assure you that you will make big profits. the price of Bitcoin on 22/1/2022 was around $35k and the current price of btc is $39k, just imagine how much profit you can get if you make a loan to buy bitcoin at the price of $35k ago.

But you won't know where the btc market is heading at the time when you borrowed the money. You will only know if it is bearish or bullish after few days or weeks passed. So how can you assure yourself or your lender that you can get his money back with profits? Also, if he has given timeframe to return the money, do you really think that 100% sure that you will get the profits by the time you need it to return? For me, this is very risky. It is fine if you are borrowing from your immediate family because they can understand, but if others, I don't know what penalties they will impose if you delayed your payment.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $Scott the new 1000x Shib? on: March 05, 2022, 11:32:11 PM
Looks like this is indeed a scam after I read the comments above before me. And I think so according to my logic and after i dig some more from their websites and whitepaper. How can a trusted company have servers detected as unsafe like someone's screenshot above, its funny.
By the way, there are many dangerous scam projects like this were  daily published, is there no way to prevent them, I feel sorry for those who are new to the world of cryptocurrencies.

Maybe, if you are a forum user, we already know how to spot a possible scam token. So these people are banking on naive buyers, who are mostly outside the forum and no idea how to spot a good project. Just looking at their site gives you the impression that they will rug pull anytime. Generic content of the website, nothing substantial. So hopefully, people already learned their lessons by now. People need to look for red flags and not dip their savings into these crappy projects.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss City of Lugano to Make Bitcoin Legal Tender on: March 05, 2022, 10:17:41 PM
In any case, this somehow brings optimism to the process of blockchain integration, and now Polygon announces that it has been selected as the official blockchain platform of the Swiss city of Lugano, to help in the development of blockchain infrastructure.

Source: https://twitter.com/0xPolygon/status/1499493327502143488

Yes in the city of Lugano in southern Switzerland, many local businesses are planning to accept some cryptocurrencies as their "de facto" legal tender as part of a partnership with USDT.
So they don't just choose Polygons.
And they also said that the company had set aside 3 million Swiss francs.  Switzerland plans to work closely with Lugano officials to encourage the adoption of Bitcoin, USDT and LVGA tokens for shops and businesses across the city.

If they are successful in implementing this to their city, more than likely, other neighboring cities may probably follow. With small population, this will be easier to manage. And they can easily see how crypto will affect their financial system and the way of life of its people. So even if it is Polygon network, it is good to hear that they are trying to integrate blockchain technology in their system.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Ukraine successfully rug us? on: March 05, 2022, 12:25:19 PM
I hate it when people do not keep to their promises. If they'd promised their state owned token, then that is what they should be airdropping, not NFTs. No matter what their reasons are, it is totally unacceptable.

that's the reason people on Twitter were also screaming rug pull to Ukraine. of course, people will understand that they are under attack and need funds but they just can't just do that. they have to be honest in what they are saying.

i thought this will be the start where countries will really be releasing thier own token. i have it in my crystal ball already that once the state-owned token of Ukraine will be up and distributed many countries will look at it positively.

Ukraine is in the tight spot and they are looking for ways where to get funding and all. Don't expect too much from the airdrop because it can easily go sideways as the development of their own token is not a priority right now. Their utmost attention is how to survive in this war and how to fight Putin. So if you are going to participate in this airdrop, expect nothing in return. Just treat it as your help to Ukraine. We can't expect them to think clearly in the middle of this war.
98  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex blocks verified accounts due to one's locale on: March 04, 2022, 11:54:14 PM
From Bittrex reply there is a possibility of you to get your funds back. It's annoying but there's nothing you can do but wait until this condition can be resolved, sorry you're experiencing the impact of the war that's going on.
The funds will remain frozen in his account until the
U.S sanctions against his country are lifted. I just hope it won't take too long.
Locking customers accounts just like that and without prior warning sucks but it is what it is, sorry OP.
Personally, I stopped using Bitrex since the day they started enforcing identity verification.

This is true. I once was using bittrex before as they have coins that are being traded that you couldn't find in other exchanges. But when they started to ask their compulsory KYC, I also stopped using this exchange. That was way before when Binance started to ask KYC. I believe, bittrex is one of the first crypto-exchanges that require KYC from all their customers. And not giving any warning or notification, that's really bad. They should have at least send an email about their new policy and if you are not amenable with their new regulations, you can withdraw your holdings.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: March 04, 2022, 11:02:40 PM
Top coins will always be a good investment. Coins like ETH, BNB, and LTC are worth buying during this situation. Lots of new altcoins are existing but it would still be better to pick coins with a strong and well-established foundation. Most traders have proven that top coins will always be profitable.

I have a list of best altcoins in my mind and for me these are the best and worth it to invest with because of they are already established project, proven and useful usecases and with a lot of successful transactions. For me, I would still choose Eth, BNB, Sol, Ltc, XRP, DOT and I can't remember the others but as you can see these projects were running for how many years. Though sometimes it is kind of thrilling to invest in new altcoin projects but somehow its very risky, you must know how to play the game of day trader because earning from new projects are only effective at the beginning.

If you want a bit of assurance about your portfolio, it would be smart to include the top coins like BTC, ETH, BNB in your stash. Because if others are failing, the top alts will sustain its market and they won't disappear. So bearish or bullish or any type of season, it has proven that BTC will always be a good choice in your portfolio. But if you want to explore other high-risk alts, why not? It is your own funds, so you are the one responsible for it.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is refusing to block Russian customer's crypto wallets. on: March 03, 2022, 11:24:02 PM
I support the decision made by Binance refusing to block Russian wallets. It indicates Binance has a high dedication to upholding the decentralized system, not influenced by the policies or decisions of any country in the world. We have to remember that Binance isn't a partnership of any government in the world, so Binance has no obligation to follow the decisions of any government. We must give appreciation to Binance that they show us a neutral attitude or a neutral decision, Binance doesn't follow the political actions of any country during this war.

Binance is just being reasonable to their clients. As most of these Russians do not want this war, it is unfair to them if they will be turned down other services like in crypto. This may be their only way to secure their assets right now, and will be used to their basic needs once this war is over. We don't know what will happen to their government, on how they will manage the funds of its people. But right now, one way to secure their assets is via crypto. At least have something left after this war.
