801  Economy / Economics / Re: Increase in stable coins adoption might just be the key to crpyto dominance. on: August 28, 2023, 11:35:02 AM
This is the direction that governments want people to go, moving towards centralized stablecoins and leaving Bitcoin and the decentralized privacy-preserving cryptocurrencies.

I somewhat agree with you on that point. Cryptocurrency was originally designed to be decentralized, offering genuine privacy. Unfortunately, government interventions are altering the fundamental nature of crypto through regulations. In my opinion, stablecoins should primarily be reserved for trading, while transactions outside of exchanges should involve decentralized coins, allowing us to maintain a degree of anonymity.

It's difficult to determine how we can preserve the anonymity we seek, especially since exchanges are also becoming regulated. The potential for enjoying the benefits of cryptocurrency and its anonymity might only become feasible when it gains widespread acceptance. However, this raises questions about whether such acceptance can occur while governments are closely monitoring our activities.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: August 28, 2023, 10:41:05 AM
What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? Will you give up all your investments and get out of crypto because of this ? Or do you you have even more broader horizon and can wait longer to see the next bull run ?

Personally, I am very much positive with bitcoin future but we should also be prepared for all situations. Nothing can be guarantee in present times and we must also be prepared for worst situations.

Ten years is quite a lengthy period; I believe many investors might start to panic if the market remains in a bearish state. If that were to occur, I would consider moving my money elsewhere. True investors tend to keep their funds active, even when the cryptocurrency market is highly profitable during bullish periods.

However, I don't believe such a scenario will transpire. In fact, I think waiting for five years is already a significant duration, as whales are likely to strategize ways to stimulate the market, given its current susceptibility to manipulation.
803  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 08:58:40 AM
I started watching the video but didn't finish it because it didn't provide the type of explanation I was anticipating. I had hoped for a more in-depth clarification on why gambling is considered halal, but the content seemed rather general. It's possible that the video was just clickbait, as the previous poster pointed out.

Also, I don't want to debate other things; I just want to stick to gambling. To be honest, in religious debates, there is no absolute right or wrong, as both sides always want to be right.

Now you understand the motive behind the headline. Religious argument is unhealthy especially in a platform like this but tbh your first comment sounds like a mockery to a certain religion by saying halal pork. However, there are some scholars who like to deviate from general public and their gullible followers will blindly follow them else gambling can not be polish in whatever way to make it halal. I am also a gambler by the way.

Sorry if you feel like I'm mocking but I'm not.

What I'd like to point out is this: if they can reinterpret gambling as halal or permissible in English, even though it was originally preached as forbidden, then the same logic should apply to eating pork, shouldn't it? There shouldn't be any exceptions or attempts to deviate from the teachings. I'm not certain, but I'd like to conclude my opinion here.
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] PlayBita.com Crypto Down or Up? Join us ! on: August 27, 2023, 07:21:36 AM
My question is: Do we rely solely on luck, or do we utilize strategies like technical analysis to consistently achieve wins?
I'm feeling confused at the moment. Even though this type of activity is not new to me, as it resembles secondstrade, which involves binary options.

When you're making predictions in tiny time frames (30 seconds, I think), all the technical analysis in the world won't be much use. The price is just way too all-over-the-place in those tiny time chunks. So, even if it looks like it's all uphill, don't be surprised if there's a little dip in just 30 seconds from where it's at now.

Therefore, we can simply regard it as a game of luck, as we're essentially making predictions about price changes in a span of less than a minute. It's no different from games of chance like dice and other luck-based activities. Alright, I understand. So, the focus of the question now would shift to users' experiences. I'm hoping that OP would consider running a promotion that allows us to try the site and subsequently share our opinions.
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 07:04:17 AM
I thought gambling is forbidden according to the Quran. This situation seems to be an attempt to make an exemption. I don't know if it's approved by other Muslim leaders. When you mention gambling, it should be automatically considered forbidden.

This pertains to religion; I am not Muslim. We would like to hear from our Muslim brothers here whether they would agree to gambling at a Halal Casino.

So how about eating pork? Is there some kind of Halal Pork, or something?

Did you even take your time to watch the video or you just made your point from the headline? Gambling is haram and no one is attempting to make it halal in anyway. The point is when some people are engaging in sinful act, they do make it as an excuse not to perform prayers and other obligations again thinking that it will not be accepted from them since they are gambling or doing other haram things.

I have a friend here who doesn't pray the whole day whenever he misses subhi (morning prayer) and when I ask him either in the afternoon or evening why he's not praying? He says because he misses the morning prayer and even if he prays in the afternoon and evening God will not accept it. Lol that's the mentality the video is talking about.

You're gambling should not discourage you from performing other good deeds but you should know that you are sinning and must be punish for it if you don't repent.

807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: August 27, 2023, 05:54:07 AM
not control it. I should have stopped first after a few defeats but instead I kept on playing so I forgot to manage assets in gambling. this is very influential, not even just losing, because usually after successive wins there will also be defeats. so you have to understand when to play and stop for a moment.

You can choose to stop whenever you'd like, but stopping can become difficult when you're experiencing losses, as the desire to recover those losses often drives you to continue. This is why having discipline is crucial in gambling. The reason we engage in gambling is for enjoyment, regardless of whether we win or lose. However, losing control can lead to more significant issues, potentially involving money that we can't afford to lose any longer.

Certainly, making mistakes is a part of life, but what truly counts is our ability to learn from them.

If I understand correctly, in this scenario, we are essentially guessing the price movements up and down, correct?

809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 26, 2023, 11:01:15 AM
I can see Tapales trying to set up counterhooks every time Inoue goes offensive. I have this feeling that a perfectly timed hook by Tapales is enough to hurt the Japanese champion and change the pace of the fight.

Did Fulton employ the same strategy? But look at what happened – he struggled to time Inoue's speed and was eventually overwhelmed, resulting in a knockout defeat. I don't foresee a significant difference with Tapales. On paper, Fulton appears to be the superior fighter compared to Tapales, but just like the Fulton fight, Inoue's victory seemed effortless. It's likely this upcoming fight won't be any different.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 26, 2023, 09:36:43 AM
Canada win by 30 points - probably nobody didn't saw this coming. I made mistake by understimating Canada, seems that this year they really have team which can achieve something and this win is serious statement.

Same here, not in my wildest dreams that Canada would blew them out that way, though i bet for Canada, i thought it was a risky bet since France is still loaded with NBA caliber talent but luckily for me they faltered and my bet won.\
I'm also surprised, considering France's high ranking. One would have expected them to provide a tough challenge to Canada, but suffering a 30-point loss is quite significant.

It's possible that during the tune-up games, they intentionally didn't play at their full potential to avoid being scouted. However, this game has likely revealed their true capabilities, and they indeed appear scary.

SGA's performance truly resembled his playing style with the Oklahoma City Thunder averaging almost 30 points per game.
Philippines had great chance to win against really solid team, but on last minutes they didn't had their leader Jordan Clarkson and they didn't found other player who can lead them in decisive moments.

Yeah, Philippines performed well and though Gilas lost, nothing to be ashamed as they left everything they got in the court last night and let us if they can bring the same intensity against Angola tomorrow.

I'm cheering for the Philippines to secure a victory against Angola, although they are now heavily favored.

The odds stand at 1.26 for a win, with a -8.5 spread.
811  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education or 1million dollars on: August 25, 2023, 07:38:27 AM
I think achieving financial education can be easier than reaching $1 million. Right now, I would say that I am already financially educated, but I still haven't achieved that $1 million financially. Only a few become millionaires, even though many are financially educated. That's the reality.

You have a point since, if you think deeply, even though our first choice was education because that is what we thought of ourselves since childhood, choosing education first, if you think about it, let's say you've already been excellent in financial education, then after you graduate, how would you apply it without a capital? We can start at the bottom, which most of us have done, but again, hard work and discipline are where it will strike you. If you are financially literate but you are lazy, then there is nothing to do, and mostly without a capital, it is still nothing.

Don't let yourself down if you feel you don't have enough capital to start a business, because if you have the skills and the will to succeed, a small capital is already enough. I once saw a success video where a person started with just $20 and turned his business into a big enterprise. So, the question is: how? The answer is simple; he had a brilliant idea, bought a cheap product, and sold it at a good profit margin. Nowadays, it's not hard to find opportunities, since there are plenty of resources online. If we are able to apply them, there's no reason we won't succeed. Well, we may fail sometimes, but if we keep standing up every time we fail, eventually, success will be on our side.

Think about it this way: if you have a business mindset and you have $1 million, you'll have plenty of ideas on how to grow that money. However, if you aren't business-minded, you might just think about how much you'll save and how much you'll spend. In the end, you might end up spending it all.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 07:24:07 AM
I just saw a $37 subscription fee annually, I'm not sure though if this is a legit rate.
Though it says there that you can actually subscribe for free and get free updates, though its not live but still you just have to sign up on their site. I'm not trying this one since our national television with have its live telecast, we're lucky for this.
That's cheap for a year subscription especially if you also have access with NBA since FIBA is not every year.
We are already stuck in traffic due to the volume of the viewers from two different Arena today, I'm happy to see the support to the team and to the players. I'm placing my bet now, hopefully to get a better odds and a win of course.
The price is reasonable enough, but if we can find free streaming on the internet, we might as well not pay for the subscription. I'm currently looking at a site now that I believe will stream for free, but let's find out later on as the first game will start in 30 minutes from now. I'm referring to Angola vs Italy.

814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: August 25, 2023, 01:51:19 AM
It's more convenient with big screens, especially if you are a day trader. It could be helpful in that case. It's like having better tools that can lead to better results. If you are serious about trading and considering it as a full-time job or venture, investing in that kind of setup is essential. As for me, I use my laptop and it works for me, but I'm not a big-time trader. Smiley

If he hasn't been reading PMs, I think this thread will already serve as a good notification for him. He doesn't want to ruin his account for not refunding the amount sent for the job that has not been done. Considering he is currently in a long-term campaign, it would be a big blow to him if he does not do the right thing.

I'm sure Hhampuz would be willing to help settle this problem, but it shouldn't reach that level. It's just a matter of responsibility, and he has failed to do what was expected. Therefore, a refund is warranted.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Personal favorite on: August 24, 2023, 03:18:55 AM
I've had the best luck, the fastest withdrawal and deposits from https://www.bitcoincasino.us/ they do require a 3x wager of amount deposit but the cash out immediately. What do any of you think?

Your personal favorite, that's good for you. However, this casino is not yet popular. I believe it will only attract gamblers if they create an ANN thread here and focus on advertising. This way, we can also see feedback from different gamblers, not just from you.

Based on what I've read in the posts above, the rating is not good. Therefore, I would not risk my money on this site at the moment. But as I mentioned, if they create an ANN thread and do some promotions, maybe my perspective will change in the future.

But great post here. Smh.

Stop editing post. I barely do 25 per week. In fact, I barely have done 15 per week since I have joined yomix. Feel free to check out.

LOL, whatever.
I don't want to fight with you. I just pointed out that what you wrote makes no sense because you can't compare 2 totally different things. Anyway, you do you.

Have a good one.

Whatever both of your assumptions are, the fact remains that OP pasted the wrong address, and Sportsbet processed the withdrawal to that address. End of story.
820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Serious Sportsbet problem, they paid 38.32 LTC to the wrong address on: August 22, 2023, 02:36:18 PM
I have never admitted that I have provided an incorrect address, if so I would not be complaining.

How do you explain this?

I don't know how you understand it, I have used a translator because my language is not English and I will probably try to explain that even if I have given a different address copied by mistake, I would know who this address belongs to, but in this case it is totally unknown to me . I don't know if the translator played a trick on me.

Let's assume that your PC has been compromised and that the address you pasted belongs to the hacker. Sportsbet has no business verifying the address; whatever is pasted in the withdrawal address portion will be the address that the system will send to.
