801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 07, 2022, 11:30:44 AM
That's hard to tell. 30k difference is a lot and difficult to reach. It's not like something or someone is hyping Bitcoin in social media. Most you will see are full of FUD about the incoming extended dump or they are talking about some other coins.
What you can do is try not to expect too much. If it goes 23k until the end of this month then be happy with it. Breaking the wall of this 20k mark is something to celebrate, that must mean there's a little spark coming back and the investors are rallying.

Bradley Beal has negotiated in a 251 million 5 year deal and has a no trade clause in the contract. He is the only player in the league who has a true no trade clause in the contract. Beal is very very lucky to have earned a contract like that to be honest. From my point of view. Its definitely not worth it for the organisation. Beal is a good player but I don't consider him a superstar to be earning such contracts.
Just bumped into this in Twitter.
https://twitter.com/BobbyMarks42/status/1544785534370942978?s=20&t=TcpOIOMsG8tv3dJxZ9JFNA
Quote
Beal becomes only the 10th player to have a no trade clause joining LeBron, KG, Melo, Dirk, Kobe, DWade, Duncan, David Robinson and John Stockton.
The contract also has a 15% trade kicker and player option in year 5.
He may be the only player in the league today, but he ain't the first player that had the same contract.
Same as what you feel, I don't believe he is worth the contract. I didn't even see Iverson and Jordan on the list and yet this guy is securing his lambo.  Cheesy
Wizards may have the thought of protecting him but the fact is it's the other way around.
I guess I should just congratulate whoever the Agent of Beal is, as he did a good job to promote his player.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 06, 2022, 05:33:54 PM
Yes, I agree, given that the market is unpredictable there is no way someone knows where this will go.
The economy is down and not just for one country but for most because of the sanction that happened in Russia which is the mass producer of oil that is largely need for almost everything.
For the Bitcoin price, IMO, this is a good deal. $20k each. It had gone far from $60k and we could see the huge difference.
Another option is to monitor the economy of each country to see if there's a good change. But that's a lot of work.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 06, 2022, 01:03:36 PM
A good way to make the old supporters remember and for the new ones to learn. If you are just looking at a chart one year ago it won't be enhanced like this.  Wink
I have no worries because I never forget. Even at my age, it's still fresh for me what happened back on those years. A decade ago.
Not the exact numbers though but the broad amount of change in its price which made a lot of investors panic and some optimistic that it's a chance for entry. This could also be the same as those.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 06, 2022, 11:06:26 AM
Its because you are also trying to win a big bag that's why you thought it's only for big bag holders.
That kind of game plan does need a large amount of capital to say it's a successful one. With a low percentage given by the house for you to hit a "win" in dice you will need like 50 times more bets. At what amount to bet will that be at that instance? Maybe tens of thousands of dollars.
I will look for other strategies if you cannot reach that amount because you are using luck basis if you think you will hit it in 10 bets.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 05, 2022, 07:14:24 PM
Actually, worst things may happen with this kind of approach. Put them in a clean society and they will try to find ways to do it and the gambler will be culprit in producing more gamblers in a clean society by hiding their business in the garage, bunker, or anywhere they will not be seen.
It's not the gamblers that will change but most likely the people around him. That's possible. It's not really hard to do it by just inviting them over a friendly card game then it could emerge to something else that includes money on the line.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 05, 2022, 02:21:21 PM
Gonna be huge for the Warriors if they will able to get Durant back. But we all know things have been said after Durant left, so might not be a good idea for the Warriors to get him back again that will cost a lot. But who knows, as we have seen in the last decade or so, there are no longer loyalties in the NBA. Organizations too, if they think it will be good for them, then definitely they can break the winning formula so we will see. I'm still on the fence though.
Nah, I doubt that. If there's a percentage of taking Durant to their roster it will be too low. Warriors are doing pretty great at adding bench players that steps up their game and it was proven last year. They sealed the truth that the 2015 championship was not a fluke but it's skills and team play.
They can work out another championship if their trio will stay healthy and so are Wiggins and Looney.

The Miami Heat are predicted to use their taxpayer mid-level exception to target veteran free agent Dennis Schröder as back up to starting point guard Kyle Lowry, according to Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report.

This link to the 2022 Eastern Conference finalists comes off the back of an earlier report by The Athletic’s Kelly Iko that Schroder would part ways with the rebuilding Houston Rockets during the current free agency window.

“With regards to their own free agents, Dennis Schroder is liked in Houston, but he’s expected to have a new home for the 2022-23 season,” sources told The Athletic.

This I want to see happen. The Miami Heat lacked a pointguard when Herro was hurt and Kyle Lowry was not seen to play long minutes. They are at the top of the East during the season but they are hit by injuries. A younger guard like Schroder will be a great help.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 01:02:33 PM
Betting the last money. Just thinking about it gives me the chills.
It may be a success but not everyone will have the same luck as he did. It should not be recommended to anyone whose company is in the verge of bankruptcy. There are other options like bank loans to save the business and I would rather add that remaining $5k to save it. So I would need just $22k more.
I am glad it all worked out for him though.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we reached a bottom price for BTC? on: July 05, 2022, 07:09:24 AM
I have no idea when the bottom will be. Like what you said, it's too unpredictable because of the global condition in economy and the continuous war that is going on. But, if it did go stumbling down again to below $15k, I am certain I will buy more and take advantage of it.
I'd be surprised too but it gives chance to many investors as their new entry point. I doubt it will just be me thinking about buying at those cheap price. Many will do and it means profit for the veterans who knows the history of Bitcoin that it always goes up whenever a fall happens. It's not like an altcoin that once dump it becomes dust.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Finding value bets on: July 04, 2022, 06:18:58 PM
I rarely do live betting and those numbers lower than x1.50 is not a good score in my opinion. But if I do like the game, then I can add it in a parlay to boost the odds. Then, what I don't like more is when a gambling sites keeps on rejecting the bet while it's live, you keep on repeating it trying to register your bet and then suddenly the score changed.
So I'd rather do my analysis pre game then put my bets early. I would enjoy it more than thinking about betting during live games.

Sharing a good long read.
NBA free agency 2022: What we learned during wild first weekend, from Kevin Durant's journey to Lakers' dreams

It's like the Brooklyn Nets just made an experiment but it failed. So what's next? A question that had been itching for many Brooklyn fans.
Durant wants a trade and I think Kyrie want the same.
They will be left with nothing if it happens or a roster with roleplayers unable to create chemistry or they could just stick with the plan and try the experiment one more time just to see where it will go.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 04, 2022, 02:02:47 PM
Happy Birthday Jet. I didn't expect you are 80.  Shocked
Price of petrol that I remember when my Uncle asked me to go buy some and put in an empty gallon was like $0.25 per liter if I remember it right. Somewhere at that range.
This ain't over, other necessities are also going to be expensive as they will put the travel cost and the gas usage to each item. It will be worst than tax because you won't see it.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: July 04, 2022, 04:46:07 AM
Gambling vs marketing? Totally different. Bad comparison. I take the trading and gambling as a good comparison because they are close at risking money but not this. MLM is a pyramid while gambling is entertainment with a risk. See the difference?
If this is how you see things then I'd suggest you stop gambling. Nothing is going back to you after losing a bet unlike with MLM you are trying to get back the money you invested by recruiting more.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best time of the day to buy Bitcoin on: July 03, 2022, 08:54:48 AM
Buy it when the prices are down and you have money in the pocket. there is no ideal time to buy. There is ideal time of hodling. If you want a quick profit. I don't think this is the right time as the market is still in devaluation mode and the prices to me seem like, they will fall further. So yes you can stay assured that bitcoin like previously will rise. But  for that you will need to hodl your bitcoins for quite some time.
The ideal time to buy bitcoin would be too risky as you will need to real time watch the market as there will be some point where you can buy bitcoin at a certain point to be able to gain a huge profit. But still any time during the bearish market would be a great buy as previous indicator suggest that crypto will rise or pump after a few months. This also best apply for long term investors.
Yeah and it's not just the timezone, the erratic movement can fall at the time you selected and you will get rekt if you are doing the same thing everyday.
That is why there's no right time to buy. It could be pumping at 6 o'clock today but tomorrow it might not.
OP seems to be trying to attempt a cheat code by using time but it won't work.
This is money we are talking about coming in and out from an exchange that can be accessed internationally. There's no way it will easy to predict with a repetitive movement.

Dallas Mavericks

Jalen Brunson - Losing Jalen Brunson was not the smart idea for the Mavericks and Brunson had gone to the New York Knicks, this is a win for Brunson and a loss for Mavericks,

I won’t consider this as a loss if the replacement ill be better. Actually there’s a news that Dallas is in negotiation for Kyrie Irving trade[1] and this will be a great replacement for Brunson since Kyrie can carry the game without relying to Luka. Brunson is very silent on there match against GSW which is the reason why they always lose during 2nd half because Luka is already tired. They need to open more space to make this Kyrie Irving successful so I think we might more players leaving Dallas.

[1] https://www.si.com/nba/mavericks/news/dallas-mavs-trade-kyrie-irving-brooklyn-nets-rumors-kevin-durant
Luka and Kyrie. No, that may be an unwise decision if ever they will. All I see is Kyrie-Westbrook being discussed by the Lakers-Nets but not Mavs and I think the Mavs should be adding more roleplayers as Luka and Dinwiddie are already making great chemistry, I'd stick with that.
Agile forwards should be their focus if they are chasing small ball line up. Or, a better center position since Luka doesn't play fast game. He is good at isolation plays, attacking the paint, and creating room for everybody by sucking the defense.
They have Wood now, that tells they know what is missing.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: July 02, 2022, 05:04:44 PM
Good one! You made the right choice. Buy and sell though is one of my weaknesses. I always fall in love with a project and keep it as long as I could.
But you? You did right, that's a brave act that doesn't happen with every crypto enthusiast.
I bought at $260 if my memory is right. I never sold it up until now because I do trust Ethereum to be somewhere in a good spot someday going head to head with Bitcoin. I wish my prediction is right but we did saw how far it could go so maybe it will come true. Instead of selling I usually buy more at bear markets.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 02, 2022, 03:44:56 PM
Okay, I am kind of frightened by what you just brought up now. My father was a gambler but I didn't think it will be genetically be inherited.
I thought it was my friends who should be blamed with at why gambling had been my hobby and I still think of it right now. We use to play poker when we were kids so I got used to putting money at every game I would play and that's while I am growing up.
Maybe. It could be inheritance but I still don't think it that way. It could be my fault too by being too curious about it. Some fault from my Dad by letting us see what he is doing.
818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What the f..ck is wrong with the world,EU and crypto ? on: July 02, 2022, 01:49:50 PM
I understand where this is going and I couldn't agree more.
The big question. What can we do about it? First, it's their citizen that must wake up. If they (high percentage of people) are in agreement with what their government is planning then who are we to reject it.
You could stop using it if you think there's something fishy on what is about to happen or just abide by the rules.
They want to see you, whatever or whenever you do it. No more privacy. The face they are using is "money laundering".
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2022, 08:33:03 AM
So now the Jazz has twin towers? Rudy Gobert and KAT? not sure if this is a good combination and what will Rudy bring to them? I think this is a bad trade for the Wolves, except for his defense, I don't think Rudy offers something that will change the course of their team. On the contrary he might be liable again when small teams going to take advantage of Rudy in pick and roll and then simply get past by him in iso play outside.

We don't know what potential Rudy might bring to the Wolves and what's the reason behind this trade,

KAT and Gobert combination inside if they will play together, the defense inside might be tighter, but like what you just said
Gobert can be a liability once the opponents go small and attack outside. They can use their quickness to kill the defense,
the best example to that is the GSW, where everyone can shoot outside when duty calls them to take the shots.
Not just GSW but most of the teams now have that kind of play. I'd give it a chance though, there must be something going inside that we don't know on why they want Rudy on their roster. Decisions like this are not done without plans. I just don't like to see that big man being benched. He is still one of the best inside defenders of the league and it will be a waste if that will not be used properly.
Jazz though might be doing the vice versa, going small, it will be a challenge for the Spider.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 01, 2022, 12:27:24 PM
There are nothing as strong hands. It's either diamond hands or paper hands, select which one of these you are.
I would be a paper hand anyway because If I kept HOLDing, I would have missed my gains. Now using that gains, I am able to accumulate more.
Invest, Take Profit, Re-Invest, Take profit. Don't let your profit die.  Wink
Congratulations then. You made some good movements there. I say you are the strong hand because thats not an easy thing to pull. A lot of courage is needed to sell at times when the price was near the ATH because many are expecting more.
I just took a slice of the pie but never pulled it all out. I was scared, and was part of the investors who expects more.
Unlike what the OP shared, I bought at a higher price and I am happy with it. Now the patience part where we wait and this might take longer if the economy won't be better.
