One of the Goffin's cockatoos, called "Pipin", solved the complex mathematical equations unassisted within two hours.

Several other birds mastered the task after observing peers or being presented with the equations incrementally.

What next? Vending machines for crows?

You still use Facebook?  What the hell is wrong with you?

The account was a freebie that came with the AOL disc.

What BS. I'm amazed there are people still Dum enough to buy paper promises of gold, let alone BTC. Why would you buy a promise for the same price as having your own? I hope they make a fortune and then go bust, people foolish enough to buy paper promises deserve nothing.

PlanetaryJim comes to mind.

Bump! Half a pi (cal it a tau) remaining.
A tau is TWO TIMES a pi!  Angry

I knew that, hence the 6-28 date. I just wanted to see who should be moved to the front of the class for paying attention.

If I come to Illinois, can I have job with your company and be paid in bitcoin? I can carry lots of wood.

Show me your woody! Then, we'll talk. BTW, you coming in from Texas?  Grin

Jeysus, if this kid got 4 months with half a mil bail for that then what would Phin get for his gazillion posts?

The kid didn't get anything yet. He's in jail since February awaiting trial, has been indicted on a charge of making a terroristic threat and faces up to 10 years in prison.

I've got an idea! During the trial, friends-of-the-terrorist-lad stage a protest demanding the kid should be convicted and jailed for life with no chance for parole. We need to set an example, drawing a line in the sand that comments taken outta context shouldn't go unpunished.

<done correctly, it'll work, with the message getting out>

I just thought of something else, and boy am I getting really pissed now.

How is it that Russia can inform the US about two brothers being expected terrorist, but nothing was done prior to the Boston Marathon, yet some woman who has a hard time getting her pussy wet is able to get an innocent lad locked up due to an LOL FaceBook comment?
8048  Other / Off-topic / Re: What were you like in School? on: July 04, 2013, 05:52:13 PM
I was introduced to piano at an extremely young age.

Same here! I remember being introduced to a dog, a cat, a couch, a chair,... When I got bigger, I was introduced to things outside the house like a dog, a cat, a couch, a chair (remember, this is the streets of Chicago in the early 60's I'm speaking of).

Seriously, to address the question: I was LIKE a sponge--I wanted more!

I remember in 7th grade (Indiana) first being introduced to algebra. Prior, it was [ ] + 4 = 5. What number goes inside the box? Now, I was introduced to "a + 4 = 5". What is "a"? "What a fuckin' concept!," I thought. I couldn't wait to see what I would learn the next day.

And I wasn't disappointed, for I saw "a + b = 5". What is a and b? I learned about it by reading ahead, for it was weeks before the teacher started teaching it. As a Junior in HS, I taught myself calculus because it wasn't offered.

Today, I enjoy Googling, where there's an entire world of knowledge at my finger tips. BTW, that's how I discovered Bitcoin--Googling Lincoln cents and copper, seeing if amassing them is viable.

One reason for joining this forum was to improve upon my writing skills, for for [not sic] years I rarely wrote a damn thing except my signature. Besides, what the hell good is having the ability to type ~80wpm but don't use it?

Now, if you'll excuse me, Farmer John is bringing in a new shipment of goats, and I'm the official taster... I meant tester. Don't want anybody to get an image in their heads that I suck-off goats, albeit...

Jeysus, if this kid got 4 months with half a mil bail for that then what would Phin get for his gazillion posts? The US truly has gone mad, build a big wall around it with some thick padding and air drop plenty of happy pills. Ship that kid out before though, sounds like he got singled out for being normal.

If you search this forum using my name and IRS, I believe you'll find that I've said worse. I even invited them fuckwards to come get me.

The whole fuckin' issue could have been resolved with a couple/three officers, the worse detective on the force and an psychologist. Come to think of it, that's probably all that were involved. Sadly, they all suck each others dicks prior to cumming to a conclusion as to what needed to be done. Jack off one judge, and wham-bam the lad's locked up, all because some women didn't get her daily tire-iron-prodding stuck up her ass on the day she discovered that FB page and Googled where the nearest school is.

Tit-for-tat dictates that if that woman were ever found out, she will probably live a worst faith then what that poor lad is going through.
8051  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kid jailed for 4 month now, for a facebook comment with a 500k $ bail on: July 04, 2013, 05:18:26 PM
The lad's comment was taking completely outta context. What if somebody were to interview the lady (assuming she's a fat whore), and during the interview she was quoting someone to the tune, "I'going to blow up a school...", of which was recorded. But that would be the evidence presented to the police, along with her living in a proximity of a school, thus another terrorist needing taken off the streets of America. Same exact circumstances, yet she, too, shouldn't be incarcerated, stripped naked in a padded cell, sans foreign objects to stick up her cunt.

8053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sonny Vleisides' finally sticking it up his investors' asses! on: July 04, 2013, 05:48:23 AM
From the outside, it's hard to tell if BFL is just a poorly managed company run by some marketing "visionaries" getting caught up in a get rich quick scheme, or simply just maximizing their own ROI before the Kansas State Attorney General gets involved.  With the recent hard-line stance on refund refusal and the shipping slowing to a trickle, the latter might make sense - they would take the liquid assets out of the company after a initial shipping push (securing more pre-orders and upgrade funds) while not continuing to tie liquidity up on actual material orders like chips and PCB's.  That's if they were planning on "taking the money and run" approach, which I'm sure BFL is not, because they seem like nice, honest folks.

RICO?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racketeer_Influenced_and_Corrupt_Organizations_Act

Read through it carefully and see if it applies in any way?

Quote
When the U.S. Attorney decides to indict someone under RICO, he or she has the option of seeking a pre-trial restraining order or injunction to temporarily seize a defendant's assets and prevent the transfer of potentially forfeitable property, as well as require the defendant to put up a performance bond. This provision was placed in the law because the owners of Mafia-related shell corporations often absconded with the assets. An injunction and/or performance bond ensures that there is something to seize in the event of a guilty verdict.
In many cases, the threat of a RICO indictment can force defendants to plead guilty to lesser charges, in part because the seizure of assets would make it difficult to pay a defense attorney. Despite its harsh provisions, a RICO-related charge is considered easy to prove in court, as it focuses on patterns of behavior as opposed to criminal acts.[4]

What the banks did fixing LIBOR rates is RICO but this is small time it seems more like a mail fraud or an arbitrage scam.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_fraud ..... http://fraudaid.com/Dictionary-of-Financial-Scam-Terms/arbitrage.htm
I often wonder if Sonny V. is dragging this out until his parole for the last mail fraud expires?

I hope my suspicions are wrong and they deliver to all without running out of cash/going bust, but there have been so many broken promises over so many months.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the timing of the expected delivery of them 100K chips coincide with Sonny being off probation?

Now we're fuckin' talkin'!

First group to win a Grammy in the Heavy Metal category:

"And her legs went on forever, like staring up at infinity."

Well it would say a lot about you. i would be very curious what it could mean to you that would be so important as for it to be worth sacrifice millions of your potential future dollars. it would say that you dont care whether or not other people have a positive opinion of you. That would make you the sort of person i might be inordinately interested in being friends with or attempting to learn about. (though i think thats unique to me and not applicable to most people) It would certainly not make you the sort of person i might be interested in employing or contracting with.

It says a lot about, also. I was under the impression that Duke Nukem was a Bitcoiner in Norway, not a vintage video came.

I've seen one a few time that depicts an animal among colored dots asking what you see. A couple time I incorrectly type in goat to see it refresh hoping to see a goat. Normally they're common farm animals, but I did see a camel once.

Chris Christie was so not fat that he didn't get stopped at the zoo for having a knife and a fork.

I'm fucked again! Just registered and I'm queue position #2. I'll assume Viceroy is #1.

Now we need a blade.

We should have Luke plug a couple electrodes in it to check the hash rate as a test run. I think Kano doing the filmware.

It was a double feature with the one below at a drive-in on a double date. The Valpo theater seemed to always play dated movies.
