I don't understand why you people constantly bash this company.  Cancel the order, get a refund if you don't like it.  At least you can do that.
Is that right?  That's really good news for a lot of people.

Would that it were true, a lot of the posts, even in this thread, would not be made.

What method of payments cannot get refunds (not counting BTC and Bank Wires)?

Don't think for a minute we don't see what you're up to. You paid via BTC or BW (not Bruce Wagner) hoping that all others who paid via other means gets refunded, thus allowing you to move up the queue. Genius! Provided, of course, all this takes place prior to September 15, 2013, when Sonny Vleisides' probation is up due to being convicted as a felon for fleecing hundreds of millions of dollars from the elder with his 15 year running lottery scam.

Danger! Incoming brainfart.

How about doing something that nobody has ever done before? Sounds obvious, but...

The following is what I just thought of literally a minute ago, having the entire idea pop in my head directly after reading the title of this thread.

ANIMAL PORN.

Dedicate a site to animals in sexual position, but not actually doing any sexual acts. Have people contribute photos of animals dressed in sexy outfits (not photoshopped). Can you image an elephant donning a physical tutu? A male boxer (dog) in an S&M leather outfit. A groundhog in a French maid outfit? A chipmunk in a string bikini?

You could have monthly contests for the top three, voted on via Bitcoin.

Here's the beauty part of the million dollar idea:

Quote
Congratulations!
animorn.com
is available. Snap it up before someone else does.

Once a year, hold a convention where owners show off their animals donning sexy clothing. The media would pick it up so damn quick, it'll make your Robin Sidel's head spin.

Just when I thought your posts can't get any more odd than they already are. Bravo! You've outdone yourself. lol

Cool! You're invited to the wedding.

Who's deploying then?  The network hashrate seems to be going up in lockstep with the amount of hashrate we are shipping out, give or take a slight deviation.
I know some forum members who probably aren't on the same page as you, and I'm sure there are plenty more of these out there.

I'm utterly amazed at the network hashrate BFL has shipped. One question: Those fans from BFL, are they hooked up in parallel or in series? Also, when you overclock BFL's fan, does that effect the clock buffers or the moffits(?)?
7405  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL current state of affairs on: August 14, 2013, 08:15:35 PM
For those who missed it the first time!

I upgraded an order from a Jalapeno model to a Single SC model, back before the price raise. At the time, I SPECIFICALLY asked whether or not this would affect my place in line for shipping, and BFL told me in no unclear terms that it wouldn't. They lied to me. They are now shipping Jalas to people who ordered in LATE NOVEMBER, while my Single SC order dated late JULY is still far, far from being produced. They were on a contract with a LOT of people who depended on them to ship IN ORDER, which they completely failed to do. Now all the earliest, largest order-holders are watching their expected return dwindle to nothing, all the money they invested is going to people who ordered Jalas months after them.

In short: BFL is a scam. They are basically running an investment LOTTERY... BFL LIED TO ME AND THEY ROBBED ME. They do not respond when I write them asking for a refund. They banned me from their shoutbox.

This is what I see happening during September at BFL: at least one very large order-holder will ask for a refund on the order of six-figures, which they will deny. Then, they will be hit with a lawsuit from a high-powered law firm, and shut down during investigation by the FTC. Their executives will be arrested for investment fraud. The only people who will make any money are those who manage to get a device delivered by the end of August. All others will lose their entire investment in BFL.
7406  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL current state of affairs on: August 14, 2013, 08:12:55 PM
BFL has bigger things to worry about than people who can do math adding up the shipped hash rate and realizing that BFL is not shipping much.

BFL got subpoenaed a few days ago by a regulator.
The Kansas AG is investigating BFL.
PayPal is pissed at BFL.
The FTC is investigating BFL.
The KC police department is investigating BFL.
Even Sonny's probation officer is sniffing around his latest investment scam.

Now that pre-orders are drying up, Josh is back trying to milk the last few dollars out of bitcointalk.

Josh is only here because his rainbow poodle is in heat and Sonny's dick is sore, thus he's seeking a fix, knowing damn well we'll stick it up his ass.

It's like High School, show your work (math) or you get no credit.

Much like I told Flying Hellfish, once you become an adult, you will realize that reality (and the rest of the world) does not care about you.  Reality is what it is, you can accept it or deny it, but it will still be reality.  Nothing needs to be proven, no work needs to be shown.  You either accept reality or you deny it, the choice is up to you.  Reality doesn't care about you and what you believe, and just like I told Mr. Hellfish, neither do I.

Speaking about being an adult, when are you going to answer the question posed by several of your adult peers?

What's the status of the FCC certification you're on record in stating would be available in two weeks back in November of last year?

Why do you continue to ignore this question each and every time it's been asked (over 100 times now), and not just by me, your favorite nemesis?
7408  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: A plea to Yifu on: August 14, 2013, 07:55:29 PM
Maybe a direct approach will get his attention?

i've always said the best approach would be for someone to go to NYC and find him.

If one of the filings with the FBI go through, it's not entirely implausible for them to flag him in the system.  Once once he steps into any US-controlled port of entry he could be pulled into a room for interrogation or possible apprehension.

I thought the same exact thing--for about two seconds.

the "i'm not dead thread."

Just got off the plane, expect lots of news tomorrow.

He just got off the plane! Care to guess at what airport? Clue: CNY not NYC.
7409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: August 14, 2013, 05:02:05 PM
Bitcoin is rapidly brightening as a target on New York state and Federal regulatory radars, and in the mainstream business media. (New York Times article again this morning, I believe).

Given that arc, if I were BFL, I'd worry that the Kansas AG might have higher political aspirations, and realizes that coming down on BFL for the amply-alleged abuses might make good press for him.  Put him right there on the front page of the Times along with the big guys in NY and DC.

Just sayin.

EDIT: Unless, of course, BFL or Sonny were big contributors to his last election campaign.  Mr Gage...?

One flaw: With the exception of a couple Greek Church donations, I don't believe the Vleisides Clan would ever donate to any political party/election campaign. Remember, Sonny Vleisides is from the Laissez Faire school, hence FLC in Costa Rica, of which those investors are still waiting for tens of millions to be returned to them. If Sonny Vleisides is capable of fucking over like-minded friends and investors, do you honestly believe he's turned over a new leaf and won't fuck over geeks that he's not even close to? Think about that, long and hard. Then ask for a refund.

Some day you'll thank me privately, like the just under 20 guys to date have. I can only imagine the number of guys who thanked me but never acknowledged it. To them, I say you're welcome.

Now, join the bowel movement and shit on BFL. Together, we can make one helluva stink.

Now, I can't get that epic Pattaya thread outta my head (<--pun not intended).

Simply a Page 8 post to state that I want to believe.
7412  Other / Off-topic / Re: random lulz on: August 14, 2013, 04:11:02 PM
Wow nice find!

I'm taking your word for it, for I'm about to view it.

EDIT: I watched a few minutes and give it a 7/10.
7413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL current state of affairs on: August 14, 2013, 05:03:25 AM
But honestly, whatever is in the backlog will never make ROI. It is a write-off folks. BFL had their window of opportunity but it has long since closed. Wonder if they are going to come out with Gen2 plans (and perhaps upgrade orders that have been in the queue for over 6 months) or just close up shop.

Someone doesn't understand how bitcoin mining works...

Coming from the guy who doesn't understand the concept of answering a simple question, one that's been asked literally over 100 times since last November.

What's the latest info pertaining to the FCC certification you promised in two week back in November, 2012?

Bonus question: And why did you delete the quote?
7414  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcoinorama: Shiltl for KNC? Hardware is too full of sock puppets on: August 14, 2013, 01:51:04 AM
I am tired of the shill debate.    Shills usually are NOT hot babes anymore.   That ended in the 60s.   They are still used in vegas casinos and there is STILL a law where you can ask (and the dealer MUST tell you) if there are any casino employees at the table.   It is still a Nevada Gaming commission law.   Ever wonder how you get a whale into playing high stakes BJ etc when all the tables are empty?   You don't.
Perhaps, I should change my post title to "Why right after the owners of KnC disappear from posting, does Bitcoinorama appear?"   Or "Why does VBS appear and then Ken Slaughter stops posting at a prolific rate"?
Or "Why does evorhees all of a sudden start posting defending the merits of a security when he could not even bother to post anything about satoshi dice while he had shareholders?"
You really do look for conspiarcy wayy too deep dude. My posting has zero of anything to do with whenever KnC post. I'm 1,200 miles, and an hour behind them...
I think I have made the point I wanted to and I hope you have heard it.   Just stop posting HUGELY long posts all over the place so that old guys like me can read the threads easier.   That is all I ask.   And when you reply for the 5th time to a post of your own that has an entire WSJ article in it, please delete all the crap so we can just read the one liner that is being added.
Thanks.    And for god's sake and your personal sanity, go ride your bike.   You are spending 6 hours a day on average on this forum, seven days a week.   The only other people as dedicated as you to this forum work for the NSA, IRS and SEC and are being paid to be here 8 hours a day.

I can't currently patella tendinitis massively in both knees currently. Cry It's driving me insane. But I'm certainly going to turn off the btctalk email alert thing. Gn.

Let me get this straight: You and Sam Cole both ride a bike, thus...  Grin
7415  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: August 13, 2013, 09:58:24 PM
How do I get a refund if I paid by bitcoin?

My biggest financial lost so far, I didn't listen when people said BFL was a scam.

I didn't listen either when my friends kept telling me that my ex-girlfriend was a whore. Ain't it amazing what a tight pussy, small tits and a butterfly tattoo on the left thigh does to a guy? But enough about your miner, let me tell you about why I refused to believe my ex was a whore.
7416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly labs did everything they could to make getting a refund impossible. on: August 13, 2013, 09:46:22 PM
The problem is that BFL went with PP in the first place.  They (PP) are expensive, not stream lined, and happy to freeze your account for an indefinite time frame.  I am willing to bet that BFL has had many, many orders locked up/frozen in PP and they have never even seen the cash.  It's the design of PP.  They're crooks.  I wouldn't trust my pet fish with PP; and I know of thousands of businesses that will say the same.

they only freeze accounts for 180 days. if no claims are filed(even if some are filed, they will deducted), then they send the owner the account a check in the amount left frozen.

For those people out their, worry talk to you Credit Card Companies, PayPal will NOT be your friend in this matter.

Your decision loose the Money$$$

or

Loose your PayPal account.

Rest assure, BFL kept the bare minimum in their PayPal account, if any funds at all. For those concerned about BFL's welfare, you'll be able to sleep well tonight fully knowing that all the pre-ordered moneys sent to BFL is still in a safe place, right where Sonny Vleisides put it.
7417  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 09:28:11 PM
money from nothing and your chips for free...I want my - I want my - I want my - BTC,,,,

I think I heard that song on the radio today Smiley

Ain't got a clue as to which song you're in reference to, but I did find this dandy tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AA64eCt2zs
7418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 09:15:32 PM
Shit! Difficulty approach 50 millions, and my AvalonB3 in way at while. Time to delivery estimated 1-2 weeks, and very possible growth difficulty to 70 millions for this time.
So, where I can buy voodoo dolls "Yifu" for Bitcoins? Now I have all another components for revenge: nitric acid, gas burner, shredder.

You have to buy the entire set consisting of CEOs and a COO of major ASIC-based bitcoin mining rig assembly companies: Nitric acid, gas burner and shredder not included, albeit extra pins can be pre-ordered with delivery in two weeks.

7419  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 09:08:14 PM
Another Tidbit: nothing to do with yifu or avalon

http://online.wsj.com/article/AP74746148a3f345cfbf5b81767f6022bd.html?KEYWORDS=bitcoin

are the walls closing in?

This has everything to do with Yifu and Avalon.

The guy who wrote the article is the same guy that was burnt in last weeks article by their unscrupulous PR exercise. He sounds pretty pissed off about Bitcoin scams and would probably love to know the truth behind why he became part of one and was slipped false info...

A journalist should check his stories, not spread gossip.

Indeed. None the less a more interesting story, is what exactly has happened??

Wait, what? You mean that following a guy on Twitter that never followed Robin is not a good enough source for her (not him--I saw her pic) to pen a WSJ article? The bottom line is that this was a contrived PR campaign that backfired.
7420  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcoinorama: Shill for KNC? Hardware is too full of sock puppets on: August 13, 2013, 07:48:46 PM
I'm no shill. I've been totally honest about any affiliation.

I visited them in Sweden and asked Q's you guys wanted whilst considering my own purchase and a jolly to Stockholm.

I met other forum members there. They were there before I arrived bag in hand from the airport. I can provide evidence of flights from the UK to Sweden if you're that bothered.

I have studied an engineering discipline and would like to work in Bitcoin, maybe KnC, but I don't want to receive any payment unless they prove they can deliver for the exact reason I don't want to have any responsibly for your own decisions.

I can say KnC are real and exist as I have been there.

I cannot and will not influence your decision making. You are responsible for your own research and due diligence.

I only share my own research, of which a lot is clearly KnC based as they are work in progress for me and I now have a vested interest.

By that statement I could also be a shill for Visa, Mcard and all card issuers!?

I don't want to see companies fail, I'm just fed up of seeing people ripped off. I believe Hashfast are real, I believe Cointerra are real. I haven't behaved maliciously towards them, but there is a long way to go before they offer people a safe and secure purchase.

Have you ever seen me say anything, anything but positive comments towards Bitfury? I'm in awe of that guy and his distribution means except card.

As for the date I joined, you're looking for reasons to throw accusations. Look at my posting history. I spent a significant amount of time in other threads before KnC were even on my radar.

It's cool to be inquisitive or uncertain, but don't jump to conclusions. I've a specific checklist of what O look for before committing to a purchase and BTC has been abused as a pre-order payment method. Fact.

I only read half this post, and I'm sorry to say...wait for it...+1.

I was rather critical of KnC and Bitcoinorama at the beginning, but not so much now. But, please keep a watchful eye on them, acting in the most professional manner as possible, while I go and stick it up BFL's ass.  Grin

Oh, and BTW, did I read somewhere that some outfit has chips tied up in custom.

Yes I did notice the love story between you and BFL, Josh must miss you so much when you do not post something about them hahahahahha

You make my dick so hard when you whisper Josh in my ear.  Kiss
