I would not call this a bull run. IT went up slightly but in the past week or so it crashed much quicker and more than it has gone back up. Interesting news article but the whole redirecting people to a competitor kind of hurts your original thought. I used purse.io back in the day (when it was first started) and had no problems. I stopped using it a few months in when there was too much competition (I was mainly a buyer who gave btc for the discounted amazon goods). It seems a lot of fraud appears on the website now.

Have you not noticed that with bitcoin crashing ALL other altcoins are doing the same (except some of the pump and dump coins). And since they are all linked to bitcoin in terms of value there value is actually decreasing more than bitcoin

Whether something is outdated technology does not mean is going to succeed or fail. Its utilization by its customers is key. For example there are many articles which talk about the banking system as being outdated technology but so far its highly unlike that system will collapse. Its success is based on all the consumers that use it. As for bitcoin and other coins there are no perfect proofs. POS and POW both have their pros and cons. Popularity will decide which will be successful.
