821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2018, 07:06:24 AM
I missed 6 exact scores by 1 goal yesterday  Grin I had City - United 2-2. Well my experiment of using the exact same scores every week throughout the season seems to be shaping up as a complete fail so there's that  Cool
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Salary Paid in Bitcoin - would you do it? on: April 08, 2018, 06:05:29 AM
Nope I wouldn't do it because it's just too risky for me. I might end up with less money at the end of the week or month. I don't feel like gambling with my salary which my livelihood depends on.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 08, 2018, 05:50:29 AM
City are't done yet. Anything could happen in the 2nd leg so don't write them off yet. The chances of City qualifying for the next stage are very slim. But Liverpool might slip up... very unlikely though.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 07, 2018, 06:50:30 PM
Well I had 2-2 as the correct score before the match started and I am actually quite surprised that United won the whole thing in the end lol. I thought they were going to lose badly at half time and then the miracle happened  Grin I am not even mad I lost the correct score bet lol
825  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can you still believe aTriz words? Reopened, too many open questions on: April 06, 2018, 03:35:32 PM
Didn't snakey receive a partial refund for his investment with more to come from atriz? I think the TX was posted in other thread like yesterday or something right? BTW the chat log shown on the video was riddled with awful mistakes; very unprofessional conversation from the main dev if it was really him.
826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hilariousandco, Mitchell,Vod,Ognasty Bitblisscoin.com could be a scamsite on: April 06, 2018, 08:21:06 AM
Theymos needs to clean house and get rid of all the corrupt DT members. Evident abuse of power and double standards promoting selfish monetary gain for a selected few. This feedback system is flawed and rotten to the core. Theymos are you reading this? Your forum needs a major overhaul!
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 06, 2018, 06:48:57 AM
Arsenal being Arsenal are gonna choke in the most important moment as always and will fail miserably lol. I think the final won't include the Gunners. Lazio - Atletico or RB - Atletico are my choices for the final match. Or perhaps the English teams are gonna prove me wrong by winning both the CL and EL lol  Grin
828  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the price of the bit coin is going down? on: April 05, 2018, 05:04:11 PM
“What goes up must come down.” -  Isaac Newton

I really like this quote lol. Explains the pump and dump situation pretty well to be honest. There is always ebb and flow in the financial markets and Bitcoin is no different.

829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 05, 2018, 04:52:30 PM
Btw...  LFC_Bitcoin and his crew attacked City's bus while it was on the way to the stadium.  Cheesy

Really? Do you have any pics or it didn't happen dude  Grin Grin Grin LFC_Bitcoin is prolly drunk as a skunk right now 'cause I haven't seen him posting today   Grin
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 05, 2018, 07:06:42 AM
Europa league games are up today folks. Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have very low odds so I am not gonna bother with them. Instead I am going to bet on the last 2 matches - BTTS in Lazio vs Salzburg @ 1.78 and BTTS in RB Leipzig vs Marseille @ 1.75. Parlayed @ 3.12
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IS IT THE BEST TIME FOR GAMBLING? on: April 05, 2018, 06:55:18 AM
Well you could have been be a winning gambler when Bitcoin was $150 and when it was selling for $20k. There is absolutely no difference and there is no 'perfect time' for gambling whatsoever. I don't think there is a correlation between the current price of Bitcoin and the profitability of gambling  Grin
BTW trying to offset losses in crypto trading with crypto gambling is very.... stupid.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 04, 2018, 10:05:40 PM
Okay what the actual fuck  Grin City(Shitty?) got violated 3-0. Could Liverpool be a real CL title contender? I take back what I have said earlier lol. There is another fixture still so Liverpool are not in the clear yet. Shit I need to get my bets on Liverpool going  Cheesy

I think that City will be able to win the next match but the question is with what margin.. I mean if Liverpool scores once I think City are fucked.

As for them being a contender for the title, I doubt it, sadly. But they do give us some interesting games that's for sure.

Dunno man I still remember last season's games between PSG and Barcelona. PSG pounded them 4-0 in the first leg then Barcelona went on to win 6-1 at home. City could do some real damage at home and eliminate Liverpool even if they do get to score an away goal. One thing's for sure - we will get to see a very interesting match in Manchester  Cheesy

834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 04, 2018, 08:35:16 AM
These are the odds for winning the Champions League as per Bet365 markets at the moment:

Real Madrid 3.75 Barcelona 3.75 Man City 4.33 Bayern Munich 4.33 Liverpool 15.00 Roma 76.00 Sevilla 101.00 Juventus 251.00

I am thinking of putting 1 unit on City, Bayern and Barcelona. That would make me a profit unless Real makes history by winning the 3rd in a row haha. I am rooting against Real  Grin I don't think Liverpool have what it takes to beat the big teams though. Juventus and Sevilla are goners. Roma very likely too after tonight's game.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most precise definition of gambling? on: April 04, 2018, 07:13:55 AM
My definition: systematically losing copious amounts of hard-earned money while chasing the dream of becoming rich quick doing nothing but sitting on one's ass and watching sports  Grin Grin Grin

This specifically pertains to sportsbetting.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 04, 2018, 06:40:12 AM
Oh my Juventus got spanked again so bad. I hoped for a 0-0 at HT at least but no Ronaldo had to score an early opener lol. Do you guys think Real Madrid could win 3 titles in a row? That would be fricking ridiculous!
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 03, 2018, 04:05:49 PM
^  Real is away.  Don't make the bet under wrong assumptions.  It's gonna cost you.  And you end up watching a game you wished you didn't make a bet on...  Lol.  That's the worst.  Cheesy

So you are favouring Juventus tonight? What did you bet on? I am choosing between Juventus +0 or 0.5 and I also have a HT 0-0 side bet haha
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee reveals he charges $105,000 per promotional cryptocurrency tweet on: April 03, 2018, 12:26:12 PM
John McAfee doesn't give a shit about ethics. The guy is the biggest rebel and troll I know. Maybe aside from Kim Dotcom lol. I would suggest doing the complete opposite of what is mentioned in his tweets  Grin
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I didn't realize all the bans would have this much effect on: April 03, 2018, 09:56:16 AM
my opinion is that the january drop was just speculation bursting from over hype.. just like 2013

as for now its not investor confidence. but ico scammers exiting back to fiat plus a mix of day traders testing the lows to find where the new bottom resistance is, to then go to bull

I have been reading some news articles about the banksters status on crypto and it's so funny when some say Bitcoin is doomed and will fail soon while others estimate its price is gonna increase such bipolar opinions lol  Grin
840  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: A Poll on Blockchain.info on What You Use it For. The Next 19 Get One Merit Each on: April 03, 2018, 06:37:32 AM
One glaring omission from the listed voting options. I don't use the wallet per se because back in the days it was horrible (maybe they have improved it, don't know) however I am using Blockchain.info to check on the transaction confirmation of my TX's. First block explorer for me haha old habits die hard  Cheesy
