821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: July 01, 2022, 09:25:11 AM

Absolutely, branding is well known to be an extraordinary asset for many companies. Even Coca Cola has been know to taste "worse" than competitor when people try them wihtout knowing which one is which. Diet Coke is particularly disgusting, but people get used to it. For a casino, an investment in brand and brand awareness is principal to any growth strategy.
You cannot rate one thing over another, a catch brand name is important - when it catches the attention of the potential client than come business dealing - than come customer services. Than comes product or services. So at each and every stage different things matter.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 01, 2022, 09:19:46 AM
What a pathetic performance from the lankans and that too at home, no wonder test cricket is dying there for good and overall everywhere.

Aussie spinners outbowled Lankans bowlers completely. Heck even Head took a 4-for.

What happened to Srilankan batters? They were not able to play on a pitch created by them. This pitch from the beginning was a spinner paradise. Srilanka had more spinners than medium pacers but yet they were not able to stop the Australian batters and nor were able to play only two Australian spinners. What a shameful way to lose a 5-day match in a day.
Last time Sri Lanka won. And everyone was so excited. This time Aussie came back real stronger.
I believe Aussies are real competitors are the living example of what the hard work and team work is. Better luck to Sri Lanakans.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: July 01, 2022, 09:11:53 AM
The countries who relied on Russia natural resources mostly the EU countries being in need of gas supply are fighting very hard and after a couple of years they will be completely independent from Russian supplies. The only countries affected unfortunately are those in N.Africa who are greatly in need of the Russian grains, they are the only one that will suffer terribly from the famine coming there. While even if Russia ends the war now,to go back with relations the same as they were before the war is impossible and this is what US,EU and UK think. As I said sanctions are functioning perfectly and Russia is already years behind in their economy compared to the rest of the world.
Isn't this thread going an extra long than expected. Now the things are out of that gambling platforms and has gone far beyond all that.
Now what we are facing. I don't support anyone. Let everyone support there battles as we are sporting ours. Noone is going to put food on our table except us.
824  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: July 01, 2022, 09:08:43 AM

Putin is also a reasonable man, things just just need a mutual relationship.
As long as Zelensky is open to negotiate. He only have to listen to himself and not to EU and the West that pushes them get into this war. They don't even profit from this. Zelensky just have to use the alternative route before its too late. He doesn't have to wait when all are hungry and cold that his private soldiers will decide to shoot him to end this war.
I live in a place which is an agricultural land. But due to inflation the farmers are very very upset on what is going on. The prices of fertilizers and urea are at the fire.
My brother who is farmer too was crying the other - how is he going to take care of the next crops. I don't know where is the world heading too.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: July 01, 2022, 09:06:24 AM
I think its very hard to change behaviors that turn into habits. Considering the fact that our body literally produces hormones that will effect our psychological health if we keep following our routine. Gambling as a habit is no different. Best way to finish this habit turning into addiction is to cut your brain wires symbolically. You should stop yourself producing that harmful hormone making you slave.
That is correct. Some habits are hard to change. Likewise it goes for alcohol addiction and same for gambling.
It can be controlled in early times. Like when someone is getting into it. It better to look at both the aspects of the whatever you are trying to do. But people want fun and that is all they want.

    • Plan ahead to avoid boredom
    • Live your life one day at a time
    • Do something completely different
    • Rekindle an old hobby
    • Be especially vigilant leading up to special events
    • Find ways that help you cope better with stress
    • Remind yourself that to gamble is to lose
    • Identify your self-sabotage triggers
    • Visualise your betting firm or casino with a negative slogan
    • Write a daily gratitude list

You can read the details here:  The 10 most successful ways of overcoming gambling urges

These are good points mentioned. But a few things are too intense that one doesn't feel like even getting up from bed.
For doing all this one needs to be really willing to get off all the anxiety and move on. But this is not easy!
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: June 27, 2022, 08:12:43 PM
Agriculture fertilizer in general is undervalued because of disruption from many factors not just this war.  There is greater world GDP growth, growing populations and development of economies away from an agrarian self sufficiency economicy in terms of food more supply will be needed from those with land capable of mass production.   Russia trying to bully a nearby country into its cartel influence for money making and power advantage is not out of character.    The bigger problem might be global warming or altering weather patterns, this will alter current food production and require new land to be found and enriched.
I don't believe this will happen anytime sooner. Most countries have enough wheat supplies. Also I have seen in news - Putin announced he has enough wheat to supply to the countries who would be needing it.
    Russia is unstoppable.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 27, 2022, 08:10:44 PM

The people want to gamble after they lose because they think that if they get a big win,I am talking about slots, like winning a jackpot or hitting that top prize for many of them maybe a life changing event. This is what brings people back but unfortunately a huge majority of them keep losing and are never able to hit a jackpot or the top prize in a slot machine. We know there is the house edge which is in place to make sure that in the long run the casino is always in profit and to keep their business open but people keep coming back knowing it just to try to hit a jackpot or a top prize from a slot machine which are usually really big prizes in money.
Winning in any phase of life is a daunting task. It's not easy to win.
But those who push and work a bit harder. Alongside there are people who go an extra mile. They are the one who are the winner. In sport and in real life.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What websites you use for live scores? on: June 27, 2022, 08:07:05 PM
Espn.  Get the latest news on my teams while getting a good run down on live scores.  I use espn because I like theor box score and play by play run down for nba and mlb.  Only thing that sucks about espn is some of their content is paid content.  Click on a link for something and you can't read it.  Roll Eyes
and you know that the same site is limited to another country and when you trying to access them you will count function properly the way functions in your country so what they are looking at general site that can show accurate results of any LiveScore.and it is something we will make inquire first and bring the good one
ESPN is good too. But there are many other sites mentioned in forum which are very good.
Live score is superb. But flash score is amazing - it covers regional and cultural games too. Can you believe it?
830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 27, 2022, 08:06:03 PM

If there is any other way aside from violence, it must be pursued to keep the peace and harmony of the places. However, Putin chose to wage war which has so many consequences. Sure, they do what they deem is right and necessary. But to what extend? I just find it saddening and maddening that they will do everything just to prove they are right even if it's at the expense of the civilians and innocent people.

In reality the This WAR is new way of Making Money for some Countries Name You better Know, Some Countries are using Ukraine as Side Pupet to fight with Russia as they cant Directly attack Due to Russia's Strong Reaction and These countries in back can't afford it.

Reason simple and clear that If they will try to directly involve then it eill not be War of countries it will be War of Blocks China & Russia is already Dominating Asia & Gulf countries by their Allies so Europe has no chance because this time Russia is not alone agaisnt them.

Proof of Side Pupet : Nato Signed a Contract with Ukraine to $25B support in form of Military Equipments, from there you can see thatSome countries want to continue this all situation because $25B are not Funded for their Social Development its for Weapons

Edited: In answer of the Thread Main Question I will Answer that I will used to Always Bycot all the Gambling Platforms as i don't preffer Gambling its Haram in Islamic Economic
Everyone is looking for their gain - be it Russia or Ukraine. Ukraine has been used badly by all the other forces.
I believe - A strong defence is important but so it to solve the matter through discussion. I would not boycott Russian platforms. No.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: June 27, 2022, 08:01:49 PM

I think it's normal and when we see it from your friend's point of view maybe we will also do the same thing,
no one thought something like that would happen to Luna because previously Luna's reputation could be said to be good and became the top coin,
but maybe your friend needs time to believe in crypto again
A part from crypto - losses occur be it business or personal life. So one cannot  only trust what is going on gambling and in personal life.
Many people comes in trouble due to natural disaster , diseases so it doesn't happen with crypto - the losses are through out.
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: June 24, 2022, 08:00:59 PM
It's time for cryptocurrencies to have strict and clear rules, it's been more than 10 years but cryptocurrencies don't have clear regulations yet, this certainly makes us worry about the future, as happened with LUNA which was previously ranked 10 with a price of more than $100 but only take a week to be under 1 cent.
Luna was a horrible mistake - Two of my friends made the same mistake and they have lost trust on crypto.
They are not ready to invest in crypto ever again - they say they had no idea that they will end up in such disaster. But that is how gambling works.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: June 24, 2022, 07:58:11 PM
Learning will never stop, even though the market is now again but we must be able to do the analysis, the possibility of the market for red is very large, especially some influencers on Twitter often make tweets that the market has the opportunity to drop again under $ 20k, whatever happens with the market Of course, never make panic, prepare money to buy when the price drops below $ 20K.
Also one should look for more investing opportunities.
Crypto is good but there are many profitable business - Like Airbnb, grocery delivery, home tuitions and many more. But of course the learning should never stop.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Trouble in paradise for India? on: June 24, 2022, 07:55:59 PM
Was India ever a paradise? I doubt that.

Big problem with rubbish, people working shitty jobs for a very small wage, overcrowded streets, huge black market for everything starting with stolen goods and ending with women and children, bodies floating tn the Ganges river and people from Bangladesh stealing girls to marry them and convert to Islam...

Also, they have no idea how to fight corruption. They found that members of parliament were taking bribes in bitcoin so they banned bitcoin. It's like banning the sale of guns because someone got drunk and shot his wife. Next time someone stabs someone, ban the sale of knives. Let people eat with their hands! Wait, most people in India actually eat with their hands. Tongue

But India played smart. Do you realize how they are an American Ally and on the other hand they are purchasing oil from Russia and selling it to EU.
Even India has occupied a  region of Kashmir for past 5 dacade and no one ever opposed it.
I must say - they have great tricks. They play smart.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: June 24, 2022, 07:52:38 PM
An advice from a medical student:

Gambling addiction should be treated professionally. It is not something that is easy to go through it should be regarded as a mental disorder. It is not categorized as OCD which some doctors might try and give you pills for, you have to understand that not much research has been done for it therefore it would be wise to go to a doctor who has knowledge about the subject. Do not try and read about it online and somehow manage it at home.

    1. Realize that you need help
    2. Get help

Many people often say that it's on the person most of the times but unfortunately that's not the case it's much more complicated than that. Let's be wise and don't try and do Professional things ourselves.
That is correct if you need help - you must raise your voice. It is very very important.
Last month I read a news that one of the beauty pagent committed a suicide. I kept on thinking about it. The famous people too sometime needs help.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: June 23, 2022, 07:27:22 PM
Just to add on the list that OP completely provide, one must assess himself on why he/she gambles in the first place.

A gambler that gambles purely out of entertainment may not suffer from addiction; but a gambler who gambles for the sake of profit may suffer addiction due to the nature of their purpose. It is essential that you align your purpose into a different avenue- people who hopes to earn profit MUST not engage into this kind of activity given the risks involved.

Based from overwhelming responses, most of these gamblers who are addicted are the ones who suffer financially. They think that by gambling, every financial problem may be resolved in an instant, thereby eliminating the need to work regularly. This kind of mindset should be changed. Again, do not engage into this kind of activity if your purpose is for repayment of a particular purpose.
Excess of everything is bad - be it gambling, consuming alcohol or lust for having money or material.
Things are unmanageable  if the addictions are beyond one reach..
837  Economy / Economics / Re: Trouble in paradise for India? on: June 23, 2022, 07:20:16 PM
Do you think this official numbers can be real? Let's take a look at Srilankan government they said inflation is about 40% but in reality its almost 300% so this itself a proof that we have to multiple the official numbers with three or even more to get the real one. Tax exclusion? Probably due to some elections there I guess because recently Some big companies announced that they are pulling back due to excessive tax been imposed on them.
And also when one government leaves they put the blame on the previous government for doing all the ills to the country and they are here for doing the right things.
We are all  so tired of all those stories. And this number game of course too.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: June 23, 2022, 07:17:23 PM
What looks like failure to us is experience. Without this experience it is difficult to start a big business. Let at first we will have mistakes and lose some of the money, but in the future we will take into account our mistakes and do everything right. Even with experience, we can make mistakes. We may lose time or rush. Therefore, everything we do is good, no need to be upset because of failures.
we almost spend the whole life learning thing and still we keep yelling at ourselves that we will not make this mistake again. But we do the same mistake again.
I have always been fooled by people - but I never take revenge - and quietly move on! That is the rule of my life. . .
839  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: June 23, 2022, 07:12:47 PM
With the current condition or has been running for more than 10 years, of course it is very difficult to make regulations, the presence of regulations will make boundaries and of course there are those who think that the regulation is to kill other projects, what is happening with cryptocurrencies is now good, natural law applies, Decentralization works well, what we do is invest in projects or coins that have the potential to skyrocket in the future.
Maybe in coming 30 years things will get better - but at the moment there are hardly any chance for the BTC to be regularized.
But the trends show that many be in coming time - it wll happen. And the world will be a different place altogether ...
840  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 23, 2022, 07:10:45 PM
But this only applies to Altcoin investment.
For Bitcoin investment, I don't think putting all money there is the wrong way (especially for the long-term investment). There are many people only investing in Bitcoin and they can prove that nothing wrong with a single investment in BTC only. However, to optimize the profits, I do agree that diversifying assets is the best option.

A good piece of advice is always a great relief for investment.
most of the time people dont know how to invest their money. And they end up in trouble. . Also keeping a close look on the local investment opportunity is also a good option.
