Everyone says otherwise? Or a bunch of butthurt socks and scammers?

It is incredibly dishonest of you to refer to a handful of people who resent the process of exposing bad practice on this forum as being in the moral majority.

Maybe I am a random, sockpuppet, idiot that keeps getting his neck back in the discussion but the language that is used when refering to people like me is a bit alarming and makes me a bit queasy.
If you want to clean up the forum, please start by cleaning up the way you refer to people you view as less than. Might help break through the issue in play.

Wow. You literally have absolutely nothing of substance to counter with other than repeated tone complaints.

The OP is hiding behind a sock while making bold claims about how important he believes himself to be and you are utterly void of reasonable argument other than to repeatedly whine about how you don't like being labelled as the person you evidently are.

If you don't have anything objective to counter with then you don't get to complain.

This thread is exactly like all the other, "I don't like being held to account for my actions so I'll try and get people removed from DT instead" complaint threads.

Shit, all we need is someone to accuse Vod of being the real identity behind Lutpin and Mexxer and we'll have a full house of Bitcointalk Bollocks.

Tone is a issue because it shows ones true intent,if you are building a community you do not chastise those in it.
Its a stepping stone and was hoping to use that to build a bridge towards the issue of heavy handed tactics.
Also addressed the main issue on page one and glossed over the OP using another account to make his point as not that big of a deal.
If the thread is any indication I do not blame him/her from using a account that could be trolled on. To me the issue still stands.

Repeat myself because I can see a lack in countering voices and a little to much thought policing.

scammers dont care about the people they scam, i dont care about the scammers i burn...

Ponzis

As i might have to deal with ponzis that have a moderated thread i will put my new default post here. At the end you can find a list with links of self moderated topics that deleted (or maybe not) my post and what threads i had a lookt at.
NOTE: will build up after time. This is for future reference. In addition, you can feel free to report me for spam, i have talked to staff to work this around.

PSA regarding Ponzis

Ponzi schemes are ‘get rich quick’ investment scams which pay returns to investors from their own money, or from money paid in by subsequent investors. There is no actual investment scheme as the fraudsters siphon off the money for themselves.

A fraudster places an advertisement for a non-existent investment that offers extraordinary returns in a short space of time. Most Ponzis running here do not hesitate to call out they are a Ponzi. After receiving the promised returns on their investment, the first investors start to spread the word to family and friends. In this way, the scheme gains credibility.Because the money isn’t invested in any kind of investment vehicle, there are no profits. Instead, the first investors are simply paid out from the money paid in by new investors.

Ponzi schemes are created for all levels of income, and have taken in investors in the top bracket as well as those on middle and low levels.
Typically, the fraudster will vanish with investors’ money, so the system eventually collapses with later investors receiving nothing - including their initial investment.
Because every Ponzi scheme makes no profit, they collapse sooner or later. You are very unlikely to recover any lost money.

Protect yourself against Ponzi schemes

- If you’re considering any type of investment, always remember: if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
- There’s no such thing as a ‘guaranteed risk-free’ investment - high returns can only be achieved with high risk.
- Ponzi fraudsters use vague technical jargon to describe their non-existent investments, such as ‘high yield investment program’ or ‘global currency arbitrage’. This language is most of the times designed to dazzle you.
- Using hard-sell techniques, fraudsters will try to pressure you into making rushed decisions, giving you no time to consider the nature of the investment. (Not so common here)
- As with many fraudulent schemes, you are encouraged to keep your investment secret to ensure you receive maximum returns. This allows the fraudsters to hide the real nature of their scheme.

Ponzi’s are illegal in some country’s. Because of the nature of things we have to deal with people crying they have lost their money sooner or later.

I decided to -ve the operator and supporters of this Ponzi that go on with their shady business after I have posted this.

In simple terms:

This is just another Ponzi Scam! Do Not Invest!

Those who choose to post of their participation support or encouragement for this scam will be tagged with negative trust, for proving they wish to help the scammers operate this Ponzi in return for a share of the funds stolen from other users. Thereby proving they are not trustworthy forum members.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

NOTE: This is a pre written Text taken from different websites and from here, it is used to bring the matter to your attention. I am aware that this Ponzi might has been running for some time, I just decided to not ignore it any longer. Basically I do so because I am sick of seeing people get burned and operator running away with other people’s money. If you start to hate me because I have chosen to tag people here, while Ponzi XYZ is still running, feel free to bring other Ponzi’s to my attention.

Thank you!

The flag means less and less when you have most of the forum flagged. But you guys got the green light, so enjoy.

Maybe we are tired of seeing people get scammed and complaining about it even it was obvious and screamed SCAM all over the place? Think about it... oh wait, your thinking will change once they scammed YOU

Presuming to know how someone will think and act is the exact issue I have with these cowboy antics.
You act as if I support scamming, its the tact. When you go looking for problems eventually you see them everywhere. Looking at this from a bigger bubble you may see how being gungho may turn people off.
Blaze says everyone supports you, so go ahead!
But he also is the one that brought you into the fold, so I guess that doesnt murk the waters much either.

Carry on

as far as i have seen you were against -veing people because of "thoughts" in the other topics we are currently enjoying. This makes it looks like you are more into the "benefit of doubt" thing, which i am not in.

my pov could be wrong on this. I have wrote this before, being –ved on here is not the end of your life and more worse: most newbies don’t care about it but some do. If it stops one newbie from getting owned: great thing. All others are free to proof I am wrong. I really like to get my mind changed, by arguments or proof.
So far no one has done, except from stopping selling accounts. That’s why I changed my loan terms.a

Maybe the best answer is just to delete all posts encouraging any of the ponzi schemes.

No, that is censorship, I am proposing consequence. Two very different things.

i like the idea. its time to move forward to push that shit out. i am tagging ponzi/hyips anyways, mostly when i am bored. Joined efforts would be great.

@james.lent left me negative trust calling me a troll, refference is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1380870.0;topicseen

He is asking for source files for files created as far back as 6 years ago and a member of his hateleague is also in his thread asking someone to show proof of identity

First of all there is no "HateLeague" it was a joke used as referal for whiney people like you. We are not Illuminati... I dont get why you not understand if someone says he have done something and post screens (or other stuff), user will wonder when they find that stuff on wikipedia.

Think connecting who can sell giftcards to trust would be a mistake, turning trust into a currency.
Not something that is earned but something that opens doors to you and even paid for.

Want to be clear I have no issues with people that have opposing views and its great to get the lumps out of the pillows from time to time.
Often I suffer from wanting to stand up for people I feel may be getting a raw deal or are going to get it down the road. Something about this irks me to see people hunting people down. Know its for the better of the community but I wish there was a better way and more balanced approach.

Really scared that this forum will become a closed shop where backdoor deals are made and lower members are treated as peons.
If we force giftcarders into the back we also expose more new accounts to being scammed in private message land. Its clear new accounts are used
for selling giftcards now to protect established accounts from exposure.

Of course OgNasty doesn't respond to an answer that he knows he can't take. RIP. Even OgNasty is becoming corrupt.

Rest in peace Bitcointalk, you've done well.

You might need to google the meaning of the word "corrupt". What a joke. OgNasty is among the most trusted users here. Just because he dont write what you like to read he is now a bad guy. Please dont stop posting, it keeps a smile on my face.
837  Economy / Reputation / Re: ANYONE CAN JUST ACCUSE YOU OF ANYTHING UNREAL on: February 28, 2016, 04:23:01 AM
Well for what it's worth, his word isn't worth much on your trust page.  He's not on default trust.  And I'd agree that the feedback system here is broken.  Can you believe Ebay used to be the same way in the 90s?  You could leave feedback for anyone for any reason.
It makes me so upset
i put so much effort into this and when i get this from some stupid person who cannot even speak proper english i get so mad
imagine someone decides to write about you for no reason
The system here is really broken i think
needs to be a better way for trust and accusations of sorts
especially when everyone else is saying thank you and nice one etc...
Let me give you some advice:  Get a thicker skin if you want to survive and do any sort of business here on bitcointalk.  People can and do abuse the trust system--have a look at my feedback and see all the negative?  I never did any business with any of those people.  They just didn't like things I wrote about them when they were trying to scam.  As I said, Sweeet123 is a newbie and his feedback isn't going to affect your trust score so don't lose sleep about it.  Really.  Tomorrow you'll feel better.

Yupp, idiots and haters leave feedbacks without a refference most of the time. Essy to spot. Trust isnt broken, you need to know how to use it.

Thanks,

He's been discrediting the OP of the other scam thread, trying to deny his skype id, saying he hasn't sent any pms since the 17th.

if you deal with someone one skype that claims to be someone here, ask for a PM. Otherwise there is no proof the guy on skype is the member from here.
