821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 11, 2023, 05:04:58 PM

Guardiola has had success in recent seasons. And so he kept his squad unchanged. And still this team can be considered as the strongest squad in the Premier League. Only İlkay Gündoğan left the team. However, with Manchester City's midfield having experienced players like De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, City's midfield is unlikely to be unstable. I think we will see a consistent performance from Manchester City next season as well. City squad is very strong.
Manchester City have lost at least two important players during the transfer market. Apart from Ilkay Gundogan who moved to Barcelona on a free transfer, Riyad Mahrez is another player who moved to the Saudi Pro League with a transfer fee of up to 35 million euros. The Algerian national team player performed well last season in the Premier League with a record of 5 goals and 10 assists in 30 appearances. However, Riyad Mahrez may have to accept the fact that his position as a winger at Manchester City will soon be replaced due to Pep Guardiola's policies.
Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker appear to be staying after the two reportedly agreed to sign new contracts. So even though the two Manchester City retainers have now changed costumes, I don't think Manchester City will lose much of the quality of their game. Manchester City are still the favorites in the Premier League, but stiff competition will force them to find more replacements for the positions they have left behind.

Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez were two of Manchester City's key players. However, filling the gap between these two players will not be too difficult for Guardiola. Because Manchester City's bench team is very strong. They have Grealish, Foden and Alvarez alongside Haaland in their forward line. Everyone is capable of excellent performance. Manchester City's midfield is also very strong. Unless Bernardo Silva and De Bruyne suffer injuries at the same time, Manchester City's midfield will remain stable. However, Manchester City will face big problems after these two players get injured simultaneously. Because Guardiola has not yet included a suitable replacement for Gundogan in the squad.

With the help of Thomas Tuchel, Munich is trying to build a stronger team. Their main target will be the Champions League. And it is for this purpose that the Munich management is building their team. I heard rumors today that Kane's signing with Munich is going to be final. The Munich team will be able to perform better in the Champions League if Harry Kane is in the squad.
Tuchel failed at Chelsea, but he managed to win the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich last season.
I'm not sure about his ability in the Champions League next season even though Tuchel won that title with Chelsea a few seasons ago. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Inter, Napoli and several other teams are the superior teams, so it is difficult to expect Bayern Munich to win the title even if in the end Kane plays for them next season.

Tuchel could not stabilize the Bayern Munich team last season. Bayern Munich were very lucky so they were able to secure the title. But I won't give this credit to Tuchel.
However, the Munich team managed to bring Harry Kane to the team in the end. And now I think they are a perfect team. I don't see any weakness in this team yet. Next season's Champions League is expected to be more crowded.
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 11, 2023, 04:04:52 AM
-snip-

You are right; that's the reason why some people cease to invest in Bitcoin and land themselves in a hot soup of shitcoins, but still end up regretting their decision when they can't get any profit. Some people usually have the mindset that Bitcoin is too expensive to buy a whole, but I still try to convince anyone I come across with such a mindset, telling them that they don't need to buy a whole of Bitcoin at once, nor do they need to save for many years before they can buy one Bitcoin at once. If one is still consistent in their accumulation, either weekly or even monthly, depending on how often they are getting the cash inflow, then they might still be able to accumulate a huge fraction of Bitcoin before they realise it.
Basically I don't mind someone's decision to diversify their assets instead of just bitcoin. Of course I don't want to elaborate on the potential benefits of diversifying them, but let's be honest that such an approach can never go completely wrong in your investment plan.

Diversification is always encouraged in investing, but don't make the mistake of thinking that investing in shitcoins is considered diversification. Don't forget, the entire crypto industry is largely dependent on bitcoin, every market move follows bitcoin, so it's naive to invest in shitcoins and think it can save you risk.

You can see, during last year's extreme bear season, bitcoin fell from $69k to $15k but only in the first few months of this year. Bitcoin has recovered and is at $30k, while thousands of shitcoins are still dropping hundreds of times and haven't had any significant recovery yet. So investing in shitcoins is not called diversification, diversification is when you invest in non-crypto assets.

In the crypto market, bitcoin is the only investment we have, the rest should only be considered gambling and not investment.
823  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: August 11, 2023, 03:47:07 AM

It is true that bitcoin is having a hard time trying to break $30,000 but that doesn't mean it will definitely drop below 29,000 or 28,000 or deeper. I agree with you that we need to have an analysis before making a decision to buy bitcoin, but if you think buying at this time is not appropriate, I disagree. If you are a long-term investor and use DCA tactics, why not now? $30k is also not a bad entry point if your bitcoin sell target is a new ATH. Don't hesitate to buy bitcoins whenever you can because bitcoins are unpredictable, and neither analysis can guarantee you. What if bitcoin doesn't drop below $28k and it breaks $30k and approaches $35k? You will buy at a higher price now.

If one is thinking of long-term investment then entry into Bitcoin can be a good entry at this time. Bitcoin price may drop to $25k, but it is more likely that Bitcoin will touch $35k soon. If the price of Bitcoin falls after taking an entry in the current time, instead of worrying, we can get another entry opportunity. I agree with you that if someone is a long term investor why can't he enter at this price. We certainly expect Bitcoin to make a new all-time high this bull season. Looking at the current price, you can say that there should never be any hesitation in buying Bitcoin, but if Bitcoin crosses the $50k mark, one has to be cautious in taking an entry. The timing of entry into Bitcoin is very important. Wrong entry can lead to loss instead of profit.
Every price would be an entry price and this is something that would really be that not much of an issue to those people who are really that going for long term but for those who are doing short term then they are the ones who would really be that too mindful about having those entries on which using up different analysis and approach using TA's and FA's at the same time. The main question now is, would it really be that ideal to take up some buy as of this current writing or moment when it comes to its price? I could say that it isnt really that bad on having an entry on this point and as long you arent dealing with futures and dont
set some stop losses then you should be fine specially if you are doing spots but if futures then its not guarantee.
If talking about trading or trading futures, you need more analysis, more data to choose the right time to trade. But if you are a long term investor and only sell bitcoin during the next bull season then you can even buy now without analysis.

For most people now are waiting for 25k below price in speaking about the support but its not something guarantee that we would be seeing these numbers but eventually it would be basing up
if the market would be having some negative news then we might be able to touch up that space but if there's none then this might be the bottom that we are seeing now.

In short, anything is possible and bitcoin remains unpredictable. But we are talking long term holding, so buying now is perfectly appropriate even if bitcoin drops to $25k right after we buy, it won't affect us if we don't sell it. But if we don't buy from now, bitcoin doesn't drop to $25k but goes to $35k then that will be a big problem for us.

Leipzig have got replacement defender Gvardiol and he is Castello Lukeba from Lyon. The two parties have reached an agreement for the transfer of Castello Lukeba and he will be Leipzig's new defender next season. It seems that Leipzig are also starting to move quickly to overcome the gap left by Gavrdiol who joined Manchester City and we can see they are getting better prepared without any hiccups. A long-term contract duration of 5 years was also immediately given to this player from France. Leipzig have to spend as much as 35 million euros for this one young talent.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1689543911122018304

This transfer has truly been remarkable, as the young prodigy, only 20 years of age, exhibits tremendous potential. So I will say that the money seems to be well spent. I believe they also did a good job by giving him a contract worth 5 years. Because you know, he will be able to have a chance to improve with the club.

But the thing is he is only 20 years old. And in my opinion it is better to have visiting older defenders who have experience in the team. But on the other side, he will be able to provide pace and speed. And we all know that nowadays football has become a lot more speedy. So I don't think this is a bad idea to be honest.

Manchester City will find it difficult to play and win Bayern Munich if they meet again this season in the champions league. Bayern Munich have been able to bring in a good striker that can perform when needed, talking about Harry Kane. In the champions league, Harry Kane will be fire for them.
I don't agree with this opinion mainly because I don't see any difference in the quality of Pep Guardiola's team. Manchester City still seem to have the same quality as last season and they will be ready to face whoever they face in the Champions League. Although these are just my assumptions about Manchester City, I am sure that Pep Guardiola will have great success next season.

Bayern Munich will not be as strong as you think, of course because this team doesn't look any stronger with Tuchel. Kane could have a big contribution if he decides to accept an offer from Bayern Munich, but Kane cannot guarantee that Munich will be able to achieve great success in the Champions League.

Neymar wants to leave PSG for Barcelona. And PSG management also agreed to it. Because Neymar is not successful at PSG. And so PSG management does not want to pay high wages to Neymar. PSG Accept Neymar FC Barcelona Return.

However, these are still completely rumours. Nothing can be said for sure. But if neymar does not reduce his wages, Barcelona will not be able to add Neymar to the team. Neymar's wages are much higher now. And Barcelona is not financially stable yet. They will not be able to pay Neymar's high wages. But I think we will see Neymar in barcelona. I am looking forward to see how the Lewa-Neymar duo performs. Barcelona can dominate La Liga if Lewa-Neymar pair play well.
PSG not only agrees, they dream of getting rid of Neymar (by the way, if they get rid of him, then the hole in the salary fund and the fulfillment of the FFP from the presence of Mbappe will be much smaller). Today I heard that they even agree to rent him out, but with a mandatory subsequent redemption. As for moving to Barcelona, given the problems of Barcelona, it looks a bit fantastic (even if part of the salary will be paid by PSG).
That's right, the issue of Neymar move has only emerged in recent days. The chance to leave PSG is very small, considering that Barcelona cannot afford it with the current financial situation. I think Luis Enrique will prioritize him this season because Mbappe status at the club has not yet been resolved. Neymar is still under contract with PSG until 2027, meaning he could have the chance to win the UCL with PSG if he stays for the rest of his contract.
Maybe for now, only a club from the Saudi Pro Ligue can make a Neymar transfer happen. Because they can make crazy surprises with an abundant financial situation.

Neymar is an excellent player no doubt. However, he was out of the squad for half of the season due to injury. And that's what we've been seeing for the past few seasons. For this reason, I think Luis Enrique will not include any player in his match plan who is uncertain to perform in important matches.

Neymar spent his golden days in Barcelona. He performed well with Barcelona. And he faced very few injuries in La Liga. This is why Neymar may be interested in rejoining Barcelona. Since Barcelona does not play very attacking strategy, Neymar's chances of injury will also decrease.

Besides Lewa, Barcelona need another experienced player. Barcelona do not have enough money, due to which they are unable to add experienced strikers to the squad. And so if they can add a player as good as Neymar to the squad on loan this season, it will be lucky for them.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: August 10, 2023, 02:44:02 PM
I think the best thing is to buy immediately, as we know that the potential for an increase in bitcoin to rise at the end of this year is very easy to happen, the halving day that will occur at the beginning of the year will cause a significant price spike so by buying now we can immediately get big profits.
I think you don't hurry to buy, you need to analyze the market first. Although investing in Bitcoin is quite secure, but you are better to analyze when the right time to buy. I'm sure it won't be easy for Bitcoin to pass $30k now, it already tried to pass $30k in the last few days but it failed. It means there is a chance for Bitcoin to drop again below $29k or even below $28k. If it is possible, why don't to wait for a cheaper price to buy.  Wink

But if you don't want to take an analysis or a research, buying at the current price won't be a serious problem. For the long term holding, buying BTC below $30k is always a good decision. Just imagine if the price to return above $60k, so we get the profits 100%. Moreover if BTC creates a new ATH, we have the chance to take 100+% of profits.

~DWYOR~

It is true that bitcoin is having a hard time trying to break $30,000 but that doesn't mean it will definitely drop below 29,000 or 28,000 or deeper. Cool, but your phone has to be eSIM compatible, and unfortunately most cheap smartphones are not.  If you click on "compatible devices" you will mostly see iPhones, newest Samsung phones and Google pixels.

E-sim is being tested on the latest smartphones of phone companies but shows that it will be the trend in the future and it is only a matter of time before we remove the physical sim. I also switched to E-sim 2 months ago and it's really convenient and enhances the level of security, I believe this trend will be widely adopted soon. But in short, the purpose of this news is to say that the use of bitcoin as a means of payment is increasing day by day and used in every industry. It's another win for mass bitcoin adoption.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: August 07, 2023, 08:23:31 PM
Cenk Tosun was agreed for a new contract at the end of last season, but the deal was in Euro and the Euro has risen sharply since then. Therefore, the new contract couldn't be signed because it was too costly. Cenk Tosun rightfully wants more money because there is a huge gap between Aboubakar's salary and his.
I support paying Turkish players in Turkish Lira in Beşiktaş and in the Turkish league, but there is a big gap with foreign players. The Turkish currency is losing more and more value every day and this situation creates problems in every field.

They must come up with a feasible resolution. First of all they should try to give money to the players in a single currency. It does not matter where the players are from. They will receive money as Euro or Turkish lira. And but that is going to create problems.

The best solution is that The salary of every player is going to be decided in euro and those players who want to be paid in Turkish lira are going to have two convert euro to Turkish lira. And because if a player is paid in euro and the other is paid in Turkish lira, it is always going to have difference between themselves.

So just send the money as euro to the bank account of the player and let them decide what to do with it. That is if it is actually possible. I don’t know how the banking system works in Turkey. But I am pretty sure that this is achievable.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 07, 2023, 07:59:05 PM
I never thought the game was gonna extend to 120mins as many of us football fans were nursing the prediction of England starting to lead from the first half but the super falcons fought harder than expected Showing great tenacity, wonderful tactics and clinical tackles with their goalkeeper helping to save the game to extra time.
Congrats to the England women's team.
initially, before the game began. The England women's team believed that their game against the Super Falcons wouldn't stress them out and prevent them from winning. They were expecting the Super Falcons' ability to hold them off throughout the first, second, and extra minutes of the game without even scoring a goal astounded them beyond their wildest expectations. Lauren James's red card offense of stamping on Alozie at 87 minutes of play was motivated only by the disappointment of not scoring on time as they all  anticipated.

I would strongly praise the Super Falcons for their strength and well-played performance in the match against England, even though they later lost to the England women's team on penalties. They certainly put forth a tenacious effort to win the game, but luck was not on their side.

Personally I’m not a big fan of women’s football. Because the quality is not good at all to be honest. I said that because obviously I am used to watching men’s football. Women’s football is nothing compared to that.

Anyway, in this match England, women were lucky to be able to win this match on penalties. I will say that England was especially lucky to be able to reach the penalties on level score. Because after England lost a player, I definitely thought England might lose. But I have to say in the end, both teams showed resilience. And of course England was lucky to be able to win in penalty shootout.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 07, 2023, 07:24:04 PM
I really don’t understand how Barcelona can actually go for Cancello. I had heard the news before. But the only thing I was thinking when I heard about this was, what might Barcelona be selling this time to get him! I remember Barcelona selling TV rights only a few months ago to get new players. I think if Barcelona can sell a player for good money, they should be saving a little. But at the same time, there comes a question of them being able to successfully defend the title as well. They are the La Liga champions after all. So they cannot adjust behave cheaply and not spend anything. But they should spend if they can afford to spend.

PSG have activated Dembele's release clause which is worth €50m you know. In addition to that Dembele has been making €12m per year at Barcelona. As a result there will be quite the amount Barcelona have after he leaves the team. This must be enough by itself to sign Cancelo even on a permanent agreement.

However there are some fresh speculations like Barcelona are thinking of a loan move only. Maybe the reason why is that they will sign a winger also later to fill Dembele's place.

Barcelona's financial troubles have been widely discussed, prompting concerns about their extensive activity in the transfer market. It seems unwise for Barcelona to engage in costly moves amidst such circumstances. I don’t know if it is going to be a good idea for Barcelona to bring in Cancello just as a loan. And I think it is always better to make sure that the players of that caliber play for the club permanently.

But maybe Barcelona is just a little afraid to make big transfer right now, because recently there have been a lot of big transfers which have been failing. So probably Barcelona is not sure and that’s why they’re not taking such a big risk. I think that’s fair. It is also true that Barcelona cannot pay off the debt that they have with only the money that they are getting from the Dembélé transfer. But they should really keep the expenses in check.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 07, 2023, 04:13:10 AM
I have a question, who would propose to choose bitcoin as the world currency if the US dollar crashes? What about other major powers that are ready to replace the US if they collapse like China or European countries? What and where will they do when the US collapses? I don't want to be pessimistic about bitcoin but we should be realistic about the future. I don't think big countries like Russia or China or India will agree to accept bitcoin as a replacement for USD, but instead, they will be competing and fighting each other to get their currency to replace USD.

As long as the world has centralized systems like the government that controls us, don't think bitcoin will replace and become the main monetary system of the world, what I think it will be is an alternative that will be good.

Bitcoin has done the impossible, so I wouldn't be surprised if it hits $100m in the future ($1 per satoshi) due to ever-increasing inflation rates. But I concur with you that BTC will never replace Fiat currencies because governments will not allow that to happen. They want control/power more than anything else. You can see why El Salvador hasn't ditched the USD completely even with recent legislation in favor of making BTC legal tender.

Without Fiat, I don't see how mainstream governments will survive. I'm fine with BTC as an alternative to Fiat as long as it remains decentralized and censorship-resistant. I'd suggest you keep buying and "hodling" BTC as the best is yet to come. Who knows if you'll become rich by the time BTC goes to Mars? Just my thoughts Grin

Admittedly bitcoin has done what no other asset has, growing millions of times in just 13 years while still more than 90% of the world's population hasn't invested in it. I haven't thought about $100 million per bitcoin but if it hits $1 million, then I believe it will come to our generation.

We all wish bitcoin would replace the fiat system, but that is clearly very unlikely when the government is still the one controlling the world. Bitcoin fit is a more alternative, and that's what I expect to happen soon.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 07, 2023, 12:33:17 AM
Since we saw Benzema leave Real Madrid at least years into his career some people were thinking other players from Re Madrid can do the same thing and they will leave Real Madrid for Saudi teams or maybe other teams soon when they get old.
Thibaut Courtois is a player who plays for Real Madrid since 2018 and he is now an old player which can make us think he will leave Real Madrid like other old players but recently he said he wants to even get retired from Real Madrid.

https://madriduniversal.com/courtois-talks-benzema-vinicius-rodrygo-bellingham-valverde-joselu-retirement/

Seems too early with predicting Real Madrid goal keeper move to Saudi Arabia teams because he still 31 years old and get chance more than three until four years later. I am expected with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are the list name Real Madrid player will leave next season and move to Saudi Pro League teams. Usually goals keeper extend until 39 to 40 years old and always has chance get regular position depend with consistent performance or not. Last season, Thibaut Courtois has consistent performance and he wants leaves Real Madrid early for accepting with Saudi Arabia clubs. Real Madrid have good planning in the future with their player composition dominance by young player, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Camavinga are team assets in the future.

Thibaut is a great goalkeeper so there is no reason for him to actually go to the saudi league right now. It is a well known fact that goalkeepers have a greater opportunity to sustain their careers for longer durations if they remain free from injuries. So i think there is no problem if he plays till at least 35 years of age in any big European club.

My belief is he can still go from at the top level, I can't see any reason for him to stop performing well just because he is 31 years old. Moreover, considering his impressive height, it becomes evident that he holds a distinct advantage over other goalkeepers. So I think he is not going to the saudi league for sure.

What a recovery in the final minutes for Arsenal.

The draw was deserved and they won the lottery of penalties.

Congratulations to Arsenal. It's always nice to open a season with a cup. They won 5 of last 10 cups and totally dominated Community Shield last decade.
I hope they recover quick from last seasons trauma and be competitive this season in Premier League. My favorite is Manchester City again but I'd like to see similar competition this season as well. One team's dominance kinda ruin the fun.

I have to say, Arsenal was really lucky to be able to score on the 11th minute of the added extra time. Now of course they did work really hard to actually be able to level the score. But I have to say they were very lucky. Bad luck for Manchester City I would say. It was definitely looking like Manchester City is going to take the win. But at the same time I have to say it was really bad penalty shootout by Manchester City. They certainly should have done better.

But of course, it was great performance from Arsenal. They have started the season on a great note. Let’s see if they can continue performing well like this going forward.

Mbappe is being linked with some Premier League teams such as Chelsea and Liverpool recently. However I don't think he will join any of them even on loan for one season. Because as long as PSG don't leave him out of squad there is no meaning in Mbappe to join a team that aren't a part of the Champions League.

Mbappe has a cold war with PSG now. Mbappe won't renew contract if PSG management is interested in renewing contract. And so PSG management will want to sell Mbappe. But Mbappe is not willing to leave PSG this season either. This is why now the rift between PSG management and Mbappe has become quite evident. If PSG keep Mbappe in the squad then I don't think they will give Mbappe a chance to play any matches. Mbappe is likely to be on the bench for the entire season. For this reason, going to Liverpool or Chelsea for 1 year is also profitable for Mbappe. .

Quote
Hence these teams had better try their luck with making a permanent deal offer instead. But still their chance might not be that high if Mbappe has really agreed with Real Madrid verbally. But if there is no such agreement then I would love to see some rivalry for signing Mbappe this summer already.  Grin

Mbappe may have secretly reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid. For this reason, Real Madrid management is still not looking for a suitable replacement for Benzema. They will wait until next season for Mbappe. On the other hand, Mbappe also does not want to leave PSG this season. He wants to leave the team as a free agent next season.

I think we have already heard that before.

Remember the last time when Real Madrid was ready to give 200 million for him?

Everyone was saying that he had reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid. But that was certainly not the case because Mbappé stayed in PSG. So I don’t think I am going to trust this again. I am only going to trust something when I hear some official news.
836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold coin on: August 06, 2023, 11:02:17 AM
Yes, the vast majority of Bitcoin investors expect Bitcoin to achieve a new ATH in 2025 and possibly cross 100-120k$.

Personally if I had some money I would buy Bitcoin, in fact I started the DCA strategy a while ago and will continue until Bitcoin achieves a new ATH.

I tried a lot of other coins but didn't get much. My personal experience has proven that Bitcoin is the most reliable and profitable coin in the long run.
It's true what you say. So far, bitcoin has proven that bitcoin is the most reliable coin and can be profitable in the long term. But people are picking up new coins they didn't know could improve or stay in place. And if you already own bitcoins right now, you have to hold onto them until things turn around and the price increases. But you can now buy more bitcoins because the price is currently discounted. So don't wait too long to start buying bitcoins or they will regret that it's too late to buy bitcoins.
You are right bitcoin needs patient for one to benefit from his investment. The people who ain't patient enough are the ones that think altcoins are more profitable because of the high pump in their price sometimes. Like you said,we still have a good time to exploit from bitcoin investment if one buys now due to the low price. Anyone who can't buy at this price might not be able to see this price anymore but a higher price. I will hodli my bitcoin till the next ATH,when I can be rest assured that bitcoin price will hit 100k
If people are impatient investing in bitcoin, they probably won't be patient investing in altcoins because the movement of altcoins will depend on how bitcoin moves. If the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoins will follow suit, but when the price of bitcoin goes down, the price of many altcoins will fall very deeply. So that should make people more alert and careful if they want to invest in altcoins. It's better if they only invest in bitcoin if they don't have the ability to find the right altcoin so they won't buy the wrong coin.
Not that totally right considering that altcoins could really move out and reach out some multipliers which is more that on what Bitcoin could able to give or do so.This is why there would be still those people who do really
love on engaging with altcoins despite on focusing solely on Bitcoin but well this is a personal choice. In overall, when it comes to holding then ir would really vary on someones level of patience because not all would really be having that kind of perspective when it comes to price predictions and speculations. If you do really believe that a certain coind would be bringing out those good multipliers in the future then you would definitely
consider out on holding for more years but there would really be moments on which you might really be sell it out on mid way and this is the primary enemy or culprit whenever you are aware on whats currently happening in the market on which it would really be causing out on altering your decisions which might led into regrets later on.

Indeed, altcoins are risky but there is no denying that investing in altcoins offers better returns than bitcoin these days. I think everyone sees this fact but because the risks of altcoins are so great many people will choose to ignore it, but also many will choose it. As you said, it depends on the choice of each person.

Except for the bitcoinists, the rest always say to only invest in bitcoin and stay away from altcoins. I really doubt what they are saying because no one can escape the temptation of high profits. If they say they invest mainly in bitcoin and only a little in altcoins, I will believe them. But it would be a lie if they say they don't care about altcoins profits and are 100% focused on bitcoin only.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 06, 2023, 10:50:38 AM
If this is possible, the dollar will no longer have any meaning. Imagine then how much the transaction fee would cost. A few thousand dollars just to transfer some bitcoins. If this ever happens, the world currency will not be the dollar, but perhaps bitcoin.

Exactly. And I don't see the US Dollar losing its place as the reserve currency of the world anytime soon. "De-dollarization" is just getting started. It's going to take decades before the "greenback" loses its value for good. While some countries are beginning to adopt BTC as legal tender, we still have a long road ahead before the digital currency rules the world. When that happens, things will be valued in satoshis instead of traditional Fiat (mainly the USD).

I'd say $1 per satoshi is insane considering that you'd need to spend a lot of money for your transaction to go through the Blockchain. But it makes sense when there's hyperinflation surrounding the USD. We won't be alive by the time this becomes a reality. I'm fine with BTC's current market price, as long as decentralization remains untouched. Just my thoughts Grin

What the hell are you talking about? You're clearly saying that if there's a few poor people, we should just leave them in abject poverty. Didn't you read the last part of my post? I'll highlight it, see what part there did I talk about giving everything in silver platter to the poor people. Well, yes you don't blame for no reason but if someone is clearly not helping the people when it's their responsibility, will you just stand by and be neutral? Remember who's on the deepest part of hell?

Asking for accountability isn't blaming, people like you are brainwashed so when someone complains about something wrong in the system, you fight those who questions the system instead of joining them.
Does anyone forbid the poor from accessing basic needs? If you know you're poor, why don't you find a way to rise up, but expect and need help from others? Have you ever asked the question, why are your friends and people around you rich and you poor? It seems that you always like to blame others if you are poor or fail.

Yes, it's a mistake because you have a myopic perspective on things as do I in this context. I didn't generalize that all farmers are poor but that's where you went. It's a matter of perspective I guess, you haven't seen or heard of farmers drowning in debt from paying their fertilizers and having their crops underpaid by the markets that they have no choice but to sell there, or the farmers who got massacred because they asked for a piece of land that they've been promised if they work on it. So yeah, not all farmers are poor and not all farmers rich. Are you also saying that there shouldn't be equal opportunity for everyone at the start in the last part of the sentence? And yeah, what made you think that an equal structure in hierarchy will lead to a collapse? Is there an empirical evidence of that?

Farming or raising livestock is like business, it needs to be calculated carefully because the future is unpredictable. If the crops fail, or we have to sell cheaply and lose money, it's largely our fault because we didn't make careful calculations. Like if you lost your business, would you blame others for not buying from you?
My family is a farming family and I understand what you're saying, but my family has never blamed anyone if the crops didn't go as planned. Instead, my family will find a way to fix the next crop instead of blaming the weather or the government.

You seem to just want to put all the blame on the government, on other people when you live in poverty. Your life is yours to decide, no one can decide for you, so instead of stopping blaming, you should find a way out of it.

Barcelona are reported to be going for Joao Cancelo transfer after Dembele joins PSG officially. But I wonder whether they will only sign Cancelo in this case. Because Cancelo's asking price will most probably around Dembele's transfer fee. After that I don't know how much more they can spend to make another signing.

Because I guess that Xavi wouldn't just make do with Dembele's departure. They should be signing another decent winger into his place. Maybe not a permanent option but loan option could be preferred. They can bring a winger without spending too much money but let's see how much Xavi is keen on about this.

I agree, after this player is gone, they need to fill his void. As far as I know, they will have a budget of 50 million after this sale. I know that they did not say how much of this budget they will use with the transfer they will make. But we are sure that Barcelona must make a transfer. Otherwise they will have a hard time next year Smiley

MU vs lens is still happening right now. MU is leading the game with 3 goals against lens. The first goal being made by lens was pure fault from onana. Lens's player was giving a long shoot and onana was not able to prevent it.

Manchester United was able to win this match easily in the end. Manchester United also had the biggest share of possession in this match but lens was not scared to shoot in this match. They also had one goal, doesn’t matter how they got it.

Onana must have learned not to going out from his position. I saw that some people in twitter keep defending him but can't even say if it's not his fault. In fact, that goal was coming from onana's fault. I hope he learn from his mistake before he will start his debut in EPL next week.

I have big hopes for him to be the last wall for manchester united. MU has won the game with 3-1 as the final scores and hojlund already announced by manchester united after the match against lens.
Hojlund already got so many supports from whole of manchester united fans.

of course Manchester United is going to have big hopes from him. After all, Manchester United brought him in place of De Gea. So good performance is expected from him. And I genuinely do not mind a few mistakes here and there when it is before the start of the season. But in the competitive matches, he better act right.
