821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I daily earn 10% on: September 30, 2018, 07:33:44 AM
I wish I could make 105 a day trading lol, it's very volatile and you really need to be in the know. I would be happy making 55 a week profit if I could with these volatile markets going up and down and all over the price. This week I hardly made any headway not even 1% profit as prices of the coins I traded are going up and down and I got sell orders and buy orders stuck somewhere in between. It's not as easy as you think it will be to day trade cryptos. I think some people are really naive when it comes to the cryptocurrency markets, they forget whales are at play and want to take the shirts off our backs in seconds we enter the fighting ring lol.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 16.7 million Bitcoins in circulation? on: September 30, 2018, 05:13:16 AM
When you think about this kind of supply, Bitcoin is actually quite undervalued in my books. There are some people holding thousands of Bitcoin and others struggling even to get to their first Bitcoin, but the more and more people find out about it as a store of value, they will surely be fighting over each other get a piece of this pie. Although we see the market as suppressed right now when some peeps called for 100k USD  Bitcoin I don't think we are too far off from those days coming within the next few years. I think three million Bitcoin are lost forever from wallets that people forgot their private keys to.

824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is market going back up to 8k? on: September 29, 2018, 07:00:46 AM
I keep seeing that we can't go over the 6.8k USD resistance level. We tried to hit it a few times but the shorters and bears are constantly bringing us down back to 6k/ 6.4k USD support levels and it looks like we can't rise above this and have a breakout North anytime soon. I don't think the shorters want Bitcoin to go up or the market to recover. They just want to carry on shorting and squeezing our 55 profit every two/three days as they play on Bitmex and Bitfinex with leverage, so they don't care anymore about big market swings or a bull run,. they make their money every few days shorting the market and not letting it grow.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market cap in crash on: September 29, 2018, 06:58:03 AM
We are still in a bear market, whatever anyone says, a small pump here and there won't convince me otherwise. This bear market has lasted almost a year with barely any upside and only those who tethered in and out and caught some pump and dumps were the lucky ones. This bear market has brought me to my knees and feel for me it is almost the end of the road if a miracle doesn't happen to jump-start the market before January of next year. I only have three months of money left to live on and a small bag of coins left, if I have to use that for living expenses then I will be forced to be kicked out of crypto as a source of living and income. I hope that will not be the case and the market turns at some point.
826  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: September 29, 2018, 06:55:10 AM
I see a lot of stupid and retarded market trading on a daily basis and sometimes don't understand for the life of me how some of these people even hit the trading floors. I believe also that because the markets are so heavily invected by pump and dump groups, signal rooms in Telegram and also the big whale bots and price suppressions, it is inevitable for high-frequency retarded market action. Believe me, I see it daily and shake my head every time in despair because we could have mooned already everywhere if it were not for such price manipulation and bad trading practices done by noobs.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be like Bill on: September 29, 2018, 04:57:10 AM
I have done the Bill things many times and in reverse too, not sold when my coins mooned in January. It's very hard to sell and buy at the right times. Other things not to do like I have done is fomo in and buy coins and tokens at their ATHs as well. That is another big NO-NO in my books. We all need to learn from these examples and follow the proper trends and act accordingly. With time we can manage to grow nice portfolios if we really work hard and don't waste time and make big mistakes like Bill and I have made in the past and lost out on huge gains.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: September 27, 2018, 05:41:32 AM
You need to check the coins you are holding, I am also down 99.6% in my portfolio since January, in other words, I am at the lowest point in value of holdings for the last two years, so I am also in the same boat, but it can't get much worse now, even if we retrace 505 before the next bull run, the next bull run might recover at least 505 of our losses if we are holding decent coins and tokens. It might not happen this year, it might not happen next year, but a bull run IS coming at some point and we will be in a better place than we are now, that's for sure. So hodl and don't worry and try to find a way to accumulate more coins and tokens from decent projects.
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do you Handle a Downtrend as a day trader? on: September 27, 2018, 05:35:58 AM
I am not very good trading with a falling knife, so best in this scenario is to wait and see if a bottom has been established before entering a trade. When you see a new bottom, then that's the best time to come into a trade and see what type of trade you want to do. Also, arbitrage might be a good solid trade when there is chaos in the markets, as they usually form in different exchanges, different prices, which are good trades as you are guaranteed to come out a winner through arbitrage. I don't often get a chance to arb but when I do I really like those winning trades and try my best to execute them when I possible can that is.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: September 27, 2018, 05:33:15 AM
Everything is a high-risk gamble at this point, especially as there are whales at play. You need to look at how big the Teams and projects are, what are they disrupting, do they have partnerships etc and bit communities that support them. These are the things you need to look at when you are wanting to invest or inject capital into a project. I like Pundi x right now as I think it has a solid roadmap and other coins like VECHAIN are decent too and Stellar etc. These have solid supporters and partnerships in place which I really like and think will go far in the future. There are many good projects to choose from, old and new.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: September 27, 2018, 05:21:57 AM
I think ti can, as more and more economies come under pressure, many are turning to Bitcoin, like Gold, as a safe haven. As also more and more of the unbanked populations with a cell phone start getting into Bitcoin and Cryptos, you will see us going from 1% of the population holding or using crypto and Bitcoin to at least 20/25%. I easily see this happening over the next ten years. As more institutions and regulations come into place, you will see many people having pension funds with Bitcoin in them and people getting their wages in Bitcoin too. I think everyone should try to aspire to save up and own at least one Bitcoin over the next two years.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2018, 05:25:39 AM
This is my life now, I am in this for the long term, to tell my Son and grandchildren that I was there in the crypto revolution when it happened. Despite financially being crypto's biggest failure at the moment, I do believe we will come out of this bear market soon if not this year before 2020 I would think and good things will come to all those that hold decent coins and tokens and wait. I am optimistic for a brighter future and believe that the next bull market run might be bigger and last a little longer than the previous one as more big capital gets ingested into the cryptocurrency market by venture capitalists, hedge and pension funds.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2018, 05:16:55 AM
Do you guys have any idea whether the event Xblockchain (https://xblockchain.tech) is being organized by the pundix team? Or they are going there as speakers?

They organize it so I think it will be quite big. Also, we have a new FUD FREE and Friendly nice trading room on telegram if you like to join us for price and trading discussions. Our community wanted a non-toxic and friendly place to discuss trading Pundix and BTC and general market stuff:  https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@PundiXTradingChannel

Pundix community is growing by the day and many new talented people are joining both the Team and the Community. At the moment the price is very stable and many are calling it their new 'Tether'. Good price to pick some up right now.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters hurting themselves? on: September 25, 2018, 05:30:25 AM
Even though I do bounties myself as well, I prefer it if bounty hunters we get paid the coins say one month after investors, so that will give a chance a little bit for the new projects to start trading and as investors PAY money from their pockets, they should have first run on the exchanges. It is true that most bounty hunters dump. I saw this happen to money token, it killed the price as soon as it entered the exchanges, as all the bounty dumpers dumped everything. I think we should be paid for our work after the investors get their tokens, I think that would be a win-win situation for everyone, including the price as well.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: September 24, 2018, 06:17:57 AM
Well even if you are holding the right coins, when the whales want to kill the price they do it in a heartbeat. The coin I am mainly holding went down 90% because ti landed on Binance. Binance whales and bots killed it and even though BTC and Ripple and so many other coins have flown the last few days, well this coin is still suppressed and being dumped constantly. I just don't get it, especially when it has a working product and they are making partnerships every day. I think the problem at the moment is because it is not a Korean or Chinese coin, so no one wants to really pump it, the whales are just killing the price to amass a ton of it right now for the last few months. I have to hold, not selling at a loss and am day trading to try to average down my cost.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ►►►[XBC] BitcoinPlus ►Official Thread◄官方公告◄◄◄ on: September 24, 2018, 05:58:28 AM
I used to have this back in the day when it first launched and was a dollar. I want to revisit this thread now and see what you are all up to. I remember when this went to over 100 bucks once on Poloniex and was kicking myself that I sold it for 12 bucks when we had to emigrate as we needed the money. I had invested 1 bitcoin at launch when Bitcoin was a dollar, those were the good old days. I have to be grateful though because it was the one coin that made a difference in my life, that 12k USD back then I made from it helped me move from Canada to Europe and be nearer to my family. I never got rich from it but it paid for our tickets and a few months rent, am very grateful and might buy a few up again before the next bull run comes.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The one blockchain platform that everyone is overlooking. on: September 23, 2018, 05:39:44 AM
I forgot about WAVES. I only have 4 waves but I remember when it first came out how excited everyone was back then. I used to own several hundred but I sold them at the time but maybe I might consider buying a few more while the price is still fairly low. I think now is the time to ride some waves and buy up cheap coins if you can afford it. It's such a shame I don't have any spare fiat at the moment to buy up some coins for the future. My portfolio is on life support and I am not ready at all for the next bull run sigh, what a shame lol. I hope waves gathers some momentum as it is a pretty decent blockchain project.
838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: September 23, 2018, 05:30:38 AM
You need to be patient, I wasn't very lucky as a long-term holder in 2018 and saw my portfolio literally obliterated. Now I try to day trade for a little bit to try not to see my capital totally die and to survive during this bear market and yes it is very hard I agree, but you mustn't give up that easily. Crypto is still an emerging financial market and we are in the very early stages of it. Everyone says next bull run will be much bigger than the last so if it is, I want to make sure I still have a few decent bags to hold.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2018, 05:23:40 AM
I know some banks are o.k with BTC but other banks also like to use Ripple for fast transactions, so they are slowly warming up to the idea that finite money is better than the money their central banks print out that lose their value year in and year out. Now the US dollar is going down the pan I bet many Americans will decide to buy Bitcoin, so it would be the right time for the SEC to approve the Vaneck ETF by early next year. Let's see how more and more banks react as Bitcoin becomes more mass adopted and accessible by people.

It's great to see Vietnam now get more crypto friendly and I think it is inevitable that many countries will follow suit, or they will technologically get behind. I have been keeping up with Tomochain updates, both on twitter and in the telegram groups and am quite impressed with this fairly new kid on the block. I bought a little bag on Idex and have been trying to trade it up to increase my little holding and hope it grows bigger so when the mainnet comes I have a decent sized bag. Let's hope I can see my stash grow as the company and project grows and becomes a prominent force to be reckoned with.  Smiley
