821  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to make a RPi mining pool? on: May 10, 2016, 09:30:26 AM
you should either look for lower priced electricity, or a model of them with lower power consumption; such as S7, however if you bought it early, then you would probably need a few more months to break even. as well as using raspberry pi 3 instead of 2 if you wanna create a rig once again using them.

using U2 is not the best choice AFAIK, U3 is much better.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memory is cheap - on: May 10, 2016, 06:47:13 AM
lol of course, because of the moore's law. and we have less silicon needed to produce the same amount of memory.
moreover this is based on HDD but not yet recording what SSD just did.
823  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin in the hotel on: May 10, 2016, 02:07:36 AM
congrats op, though this should have be done earlier so there will be a faster evolution of hotels, btw will there a better service of paying bitcoin?

I'm thinking of making my own payment system.

won't be a matter, yet promoting bitcoin via hotel is awesome.
with bitcoin acceptance in your hotel, you can hold conference such as coinfest, which can help boosting the tourists.

825  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit.net has blocked my account. I cant access my coins. on: May 07, 2016, 06:21:23 AM
bump

no bumping needed if your thread is on the first page, anyway if your account is unreasonably blocked then it is either yet another yobit security issues or unresponsive again. there was a resolved accusation recently, i think yobit is willing to fix the issues, if you believe that yobit is not fixing such, then you should let theymos know.
826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hack-bitvest.com scam on: May 07, 2016, 05:29:23 AM
Why not report the site and have it taken down ? If its affecting your business and created intentionally to do so,you can serve them right. The accusation here is good enough for people who use the forum ,doesn't really impact the traffic outside which directly play at bitvest. Since I play here occasionally ,I have met people who have no idea about the forum.Including a banner on bitvest about this should be effective.

sorry, that is barely possible if that site is using a VPS or even tor-like server hosting, because it is hard to find the owner or destroy the site, even if made it, the site could be returned again.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gift ideas? on: May 07, 2016, 05:26:33 AM
Take a picture of yourself blowing a kiss then print it out.
Use a heavy piece of white card stock and paint or colour the entire page to appear as a bright blue sky.
Carefully cut out your image of you blowing a kiss and glue that to the card stock.
Using some wrapping paper with varying colours and designs (or tissue paper if you have the patience), cut out a few hearts of different sizes and glue them in front of your picture so it appears as though you are blowing the hearts from your hand(s) into the air. (if you want to be funny, throw in a few bitcoin symbols)
Find a nice verse to print out (or you can write it if you have neat writing and/or can do calligraphy) and glue that onto the card stock as well.
You could add some metallic sparkles or cut out some flowers to add to the picture too.
If you want it to be awesome, put it inside a picture frame.

edit: you should probably move this to "off topic" as it doesn't belong in "Bitcoin discussion"

Here's another idea.  My mom wouldn't like this I imagine... I already bought her something anyway.

that kind of cup is explicitly insulting his/her son and they will leave their parents and engage runaway for sure. be respectful to children, not all of them tolerates.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2016, 02:07:45 PM
i am sorry, but IIRC there is a similar question about asking why bitcoin is necessary to be exist, or what.
at least, dark market gets a better use of payment or a better privacy of it. Huh
829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: May 05, 2016, 11:21:09 PM
you can gain at least .1 every month as a signature campaign manager, but must have such experience and a member level.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Epic crash. on: May 04, 2016, 01:16:35 PM

so you want us to sell our btcs, do you?  Grin

explicitly, in order to gain him more bitcoins, he spread FUD to let people in bitcoin forum to sell the bitcoins and lead a panic drop, lol.
831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit.net deposits missing - Yobit stealing my Coins. Please Help on: May 03, 2016, 11:26:43 AM
How you can claim yobit.net are scammers  Huh Do you have any solid proof about this?

I have never made that claim. I am trying to get my issue resolved.
if this error is not being fixed or even refuse to complete then you should consider this site is a fraud.
832  Economy / Services / wanna be signature campaign managers, flexible commission on: May 02, 2016, 10:03:07 AM
i wanna have some of the signature campaign management, because there are some of the service that needs worker of this. i have been lazy weekly around, that's why i have this spare time to do this.

this is my part-time, i might be busy to update people's posts and monitor the system.
escrow may be needed if you want.

anyway, here is what the feature i can give:

  • post verification, in which verified posts upon your request, will be counted.
  • flexible payment period (weekly, biweekly, monthly), or summarizing.
  • up to 30 entrants as i can take
  • pay commission each payment of those reward, i do not receive you any bits until work is done.
  • proof will be uploaded in case of kicked as soon as catching such.

please lemme know all of the information about that signature campaign i should hold for:

  • the norm of payment, like per post or fixed; minimum post requirement and the period.
  • the condition of joining the signature campaign.
  • the specific forums that will, or not pay.
  • the entrants you prefer.
  • so on

here is my commission i should take:

5% of the total signature campaign payment as a base, negotiable via contact, ie if you are paying 1 bitcoin in total, then i should get at least .05.

for post verification amount, of how many posts i did, based on the daily equivalence per entrant,

up to 5 posts per day - included
6~10 posts per day - .0001
11~20 - .0005
21~30 - .0007
31+ - negotiable, or around .001

for an example, if i verified an entrant with 140 posts a week, then you will have to pay .0005*7 = .0035 when payday.

specific topics are free.

for frequency, which comes higher, .02 or another 3% weekly, .01 or another 2% biweekly, or free monthly.

more condition are subject to a certain commission.

lemme know if you are interested, please reserve if in need, subject to edition and correction without prior notice unless incidents such as cancellation.

2016/5/15 lower price.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Warning] Operation IPO Scam Cleanup - 04/26/2016 on: May 02, 2016, 05:11:55 AM
WARNING: Phase III Begins NOW !

There will be NO prisoners taken..

834  Economy / Exchanges / Re: https://magazena.com/ on: May 02, 2016, 12:39:58 AM
have to warn you that this kind of new trading site could be a form of fraud without any security trust, it could be a phishing site as far as i know.
835  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YOBIT STOLE MY DEPOSIT & BANNING ME TO COVER UP on: May 01, 2016, 06:38:18 AM
Yes its a Chat ban. There is nothing in the FAQ rules about asking for help in chat. There moderator Domi tells everyone that has a legit question to put a support ticket in and also to "Ask the Admin" when he is online. How can I ask the admin when I am being banned by the mod when I ask if the Admin is around to help me :/

This has turned into THEFT by yobit FYI to those who have read the thread. I will provide screen shots in a few mins. And will also post in correct sub forum for scams theft etc. Thank you. Still hopefull that what I am seeing is a big flipping mistake if not its def turned into theft.

I followed what I was told by Domi the Moderator until being banned. I am not lying about this nor making false accusations. I was told to Ask the admin. And doing so resulted in my chat ban. This is not the only thing that has pushed me to these accusations. If you give me a minute to post my screenshots you will understand.

I initially did not call this a scam or theft. it was only after I was told that I was spreading disinformation by asking to chat with admin (if you use yobit you know mod says ASK ADMIN.) I was never told not to ask anything via chat even by the moderator. I was banned for spreading false information about yobit. I did not accuse yobit of theft on there chat. I stated one thing. And that was "blacksmith, Admin are you here. I need your help". I never once stated anything about the possibility of theft. This only came up after I was banned and noticed something beyond NOT GOOD. I am still hoping that this is just a huge misunderstanding and if it is I have no problem publicly apologizing to the service and its admin. I honestly like yobit. After I post my screens and you see why I hurried to call foul you will understand. Again I truly hope this is all just a big bug mistake. give me like 5 mins please before I continue to be called a liar etc. if you do not feel my in a hurry HELP is justified after seeing screens then attack away.
1. How many hours did you wait after the transactions confirmed to submit a support request?

2. How many hours did you wait after submitting the support request to get a response? (currently 29-30 hours on a weekend from when the block was first confirmed)

3. How many times did you ask in chat the same question?

4. Based on block timestamps and forum post times you gave very little time for it to be investigated, and based on another yobit user saying "that was you in the chat" you seem to have been causing an issue or at least asking multiple times.

1. after a certain confirmation, the funds should be appeared automatically; in case of not, there must be an issue, team won't actively get informed in general, but you don't.

2. yobit is probably refusing to response.

3. for me, IIRC, around 2~3 times in total.

4. suppose you are a mod of a trollbox, seeing someone seeking for help by posting multiple times, what would you do? like this matter, refusing to resolve those accident/incident, i don't believe the site would get more users. furthermore, mostly those 'spammers' are caused by not getting any response after writing a support for at least a day, IIRC.

using bitcoin, or altcoin and bank transaction as a comparison, there are no reason not to startover a scan of those transaction from a certain date to figure out who lies, after 6 confirmations, or more based on their rule; for bank, since it requires commission, you will need to wait up to a week for getting your transaction completed.
836  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YOBIT Deposits & Ban warning on: May 01, 2016, 06:16:33 AM
Ok so i just posted this on Yobit looking for help

EpyxZ: Can i please get an Admin to rescan my LTC and DOGE wallets

a few minutes later I go to respond to someone in trollbox and this

Error
You are banned until 30.04.2016 18:33:20.

So i have been banned for looking for an admin for help? Seriously. At this point I am almost feeling like I am getting mugged. Anyone know anyone over there that can do anything? Even if admin came online there I couldnt even send say anything. I know to some people what I have sitting there in limbo waiting on a rescan is not much but fuck me. Just not comprehending why I would be banned for a legit problem and a simple question.

Thanks

if you had written this kind of help via the direct support, then you are not supposed to be banned. even though if you seek for help via trollbox, you are supposed to get an advice of using support feature. getting banned for requesting evidence check is outrageous and even on the cards a sign of scam; anyway, if they are still refusing to verify your transaction, then i, or someone, will help you write a scam report, which consists of confirmed information, to warn the yobit users. i have been concerning the possible scam of this site so i don't deposit any bits to prevent incident.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surbitcoin Not Paying and saying to they customers that they are the SCAMMERS on: May 01, 2016, 06:06:07 AM
please leave this forum, and go to scam accusation, i understand what that guy just did to their customers, but this forum session is not for whining about scams. by the way, you should get more evidence that he is really attempting to scam or even scamming, so he will have less reason to call them scammers.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: $471.80 on coinbase exchange on: May 01, 2016, 12:19:24 AM
Hopefully it gets better, but btc prices might reach 500$ by the end of next month.
that will be much more stable than the beginning of the May. take a look of today, did not make a $500. that's why you should not have an excessive speculation.
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 at the beginning of May ? on: April 30, 2016, 10:23:40 AM
Well, it is already the last day of April and doesn't touch the price of $500. I think it will happen at the mid or the last week of the month of May.
indeed, $454 today, tomorrow is 1/5, which is practically impossible to achieve this kind of occurrence, which is growing the price of bitcoin up by $46 each. lol.
840  Economy / Services / Re: [Hiring] Article Writer - $2 per article on: April 30, 2016, 12:23:06 AM
i am a bit interested on this as well, so i am gonna get a reserve, i will write some bitcoin related fiction which is at least 1500 words each. showing off my talent soon. (in case of just $2 for a fiction, consists of ~1500 words, seems to be ridiculous)

i have no previous work regarding bitcoin, in case of at least 300 words, sampling anyway.
