Anyone have any thoughts on coins that have their own DEX's as far as future price?
I know Bitshares has a good one. It's an easy two step process to sign up, Just pick a user name and they give you a password which you then have to copy and paste in. One can print that out as a type of hard wallet.
I don't know about other coins except that Komodo I thought was working on one about a year ago.
Definitely something that should be looked into. Although I think that Binance will probably continue to dominate this space with their own token because of the fact that they have such a big existing userbase right now. BTS has the potential to pump extremely hard in the short run, as demonstrated previously by its historical rallies, but in the long run I don't think that the pegged assets that they offer on their exchange is sufficient. Besides, the liquidity on their exchange is significantly lacking making it unfeasible for anyone to seriously use it. When you have coins you believe in just the fact that they can be available means a certain amount of liquidity. I realize most little exchanges don't have much liquidity, because people do not trust them as much as the bigger exchanges. But if your staking coins, and selling to others who like to run wallets and stake, having a DEX or little exchange is the difference between the life and death of the coin.

I wonder how easy it is to get our favorite underdog coins on some DEX's? I just signed up for the bitshares DEX: https://bitshares.org/If these are truly decentralized, then adding coins should be easy and free.

Hey everyone, I could use some reeeeeeaaal help.
I want to use the bitshares wallet/exchange and get some sort of understanding of it, but for me it's really complicated and I can't find any tutorials or videos on how to navigate it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Something that can explain in simple terms?
How did it go? Did you try the online wallet? It's a very simple two step process. Just copy the password they give you in a secure spot. You don't need an email address.

Are you able to react on my concern regarding the trade washing of NRG at DigiFinex?
@ EnergiCrypto
Energi has no control over what happens or doesn't happen on DigiFinex in regards to trading. As you say, it is your opinion based on your research, and we of course would advise everyone to always do their own research and not depend on here say to come to a conclusion. Not sure. A lot of questions in this thread are left unanswered. We don't even know what wallet we should use to receive it. It must be the current one at the website.

I always seem to have problems doing wallet upgrades with bootstraps that have only one file. I have upgraded about 25 wallets. Can someone give some clues on the best way this is to be done, like with specific file names, etc.
Note: after just putting it as the block*.dat file, and it not syncing after a while. I reinstalled it to a fresh directory and did it again. It's like it's syncing even without the file being there.

I like this exchange, has been good so far.

They are finally allowing to withdraw but it looks like only through Uphold. Verification has been difficult, with the 2 Factor Google not working on it.
Then they require you to take a selfie, not upload one. My desktop machine doesn't have a camera attached to it, so this step was impossible. My laptop has a different account and most of the BAT I earned is on the desktop.
They are not allowing to withdraw to any BAT account at an exchange.

You guys should focus on positive things. It's really a miracle. All the great higher percentage staking coins have each found exchanges to be on after the demise of Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Novaexchange and Tradesatoshi. CompoundCoin, VersionCoin, TruckCoin, InflationCoin, Bottlecaps, Stackbit, InflationCoin, BitcoinTalkCoin, Stackbit, etc. I think TALK coin is the only one that is only on Yobit.
Other coins have found new homes also. Support those coins.
What about ballscoin, nutsackcoin, scrotecoin, hardoncoin these have a place in your miracle. This thread has been pretty much trash the whole way through, not worth reading. I don't expect much more.

I don't think there's any reason to be OCD about C-Patex and say bad things about them on the website. You have to support small exchanges these days that hold your coin. I am a supporter, not a FUD but be grateful your there. If you can do better, do it.
From another post: "All the great higher percentage staking coins have each found exchanges to be on after the demise of Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Novaexchange and Tradesatoshi. CompoundCoin, VersionCoin, TruckCoin, InflationCoin, Bottlecaps, Stackbit, InflationCoin, BitcoinTalkCoin, Stackbit, etc."
Thank you for posting your opinion on this matter. We, however, have a responsibility to our community and we need to ensure that we provide them with a safe trading experience. We cannot endorse exchanges that list us without our knowledge and without providing any information that would allow us to asses the safety of their trading platform. I understand. I in fact just had a problem withdrawing some coin from there. I'll see what the support ticket comes back with. Note: they just had temporary problem. I was able to withdraw.

Leave the wallet one for a while. I'll boot up my wallet. Also, Coinexchange had a list of peers, but now that info is invalid. I saved it, I can find some more.

after the demise of Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Novaexchange and Tradesatoshi.
Do you know something we don't? Pretty sure none of those exchange are active for US Traders, that's what I meant.

Any additional instructions for installing the new wallet? I'm thinking just put the new one in a directory, use with wallet.dat in appdata and boot it up.
