25% is really really good. But it might also be a problem when there is not much volume on its exchanges. A low demand and a high supply would surely affect its price in the open market. That's why advertising, like getting mentioned in a book will help. I hope someone can answer my question. I believe there is a different difficulty with each coin. So if you have x million Espers, it might stake X amount of times a week. 5 million Espers, it might stake ? amount of times a week. 1 million Espers, it might stake ? amount of times a week. This is a crucial utility aspect of the coin, same thing with the mining rush for Bitcoin and other coins, and yet a lot of devs of staking coins don't make it clear, nor the team able to answer the question. |

We could also give exchanges the finger and start trading it here in this thread  But to be honest: I would love to see an exchange having CAP as it's main exchange coin instead of BTC. And way more merchants. But that is a pipe dream. Not a pipe dream. The problem I see with a lot of coin communities is that there's many people that just wants to make a buck, but not willing to put the effort into making a real market for the coin such as goods and services. Basically lots of people that wants, complains, but at the end of the day they do absolutely nothing to improve the situation for themselves or the coin. It's the same thing in society, that's why there are people that does well and people that don't. Projects that do well and projects that don't.

I just updated with the nodes list from last page in thread, as it did seem like something is off with my wallet too. I've had it up for about an hour now, tried to send to myself before my last post, that seemed to work. But I didn't see any dl'ing of the blockchain and it doesn't say it's not synced. I did see one or two connections. Now I've had it up for about 30 minutes with the new nodes and see two connections but it's not syncing. with all the new music poping up and with all the ideas we have for this great coin i think the dev should work toward getting it accepted by music loves first and then we can push it hard on everyone else
Agreed. Being in DOGE territory isn't death for a coin. Here is something I'm posting to the coins I stake and support: The problem with all good staking coins is that people are not smart enough to use staking wallets to earn coins. The level of computer skills of the general public is very poor, and cryptocurrency enthusiasts are a little better but often not much. Any chance for listing BCN at Bittrex or a relisting at Binance?
There are many smaller exchanges that have low fees and look responsible like coinex.com and freiexchange.com. Some will even list for free if you ask them. You do have to be careful to not put too much volume there, but I think this coin does need more exchanges. |

My problem with rain right now is that I sold all at a good price about six to eight months ago and not sure how much now I would have to buy to have it start staking 2 or 3 times a week.
I would say at least 50k to 100k, this amount should get you a few stakes each week. I know with over 200K now gets people a stake almost daily and if not then every second day. It could be a good time to buy at the current price but no one knows whats going on with the dev team. Maybe if they posted regular updates the price wouldn't be this low. It would only take one person to want to stake this coin to raise the price 2 sats at that level. Back in the earlier days, I think 5 to 10 people were coming aboard every week. Staking and trading wisely always makes money. Yeah I agree, it won't take much to boost the price of Rain and like you said if Rain gets a few people come in each week and start staking then this could easily get back to around 100+ sats in no time. I just feel that people are waiting to see the WP and rain meter as this has been talked about most of this year and we are still waiting. So once we get some news or sneak peaks of the rain meter, this could start moving again. Nothing to say about in this case, but these kinds of ploys are classic in scam artists. They hold some kind of invention or creation of some kind of physical device out like a carrot on a string. Look at that woman who just got busted for the fake lab testing device. She and some Indian guy bilked people out of billions, fooled everyone. What's more important is education and advertising. I am trying to do that with a book I'm writing on staking. Who knows though what the next two or three years might lead to in Crypto. Perhaps coins and their names are going to be like domains. The major ones like BOAT will be in high demand by the industry.
I would like to meet other techies with programming backgrounds who want to learn more about development, compiling, etc. It seems to me to be pretty locked up in LINUX, from what I see on building a block explorer video.
Maybe, but I think the companies will make their own coin/token. Why they should buy a name from a dead project? Projects get revitalized very easily in crypto. It's the nature of the technology. One just needs to know how to create a working blockchain explorer, which is relatively simple. Domains work based on easy to understand names. You think the Boat industry won't want the name "Boat"? That goes against human nature. |

I have come across a new exchange that is in Alpha right now which could be a nice exchange for CAPS however its just a Doge coin exchange so it only has trading in Doge. If the dev and community is happy with this then I could put in a request to have CAPS listed, the current fee is just 10k Doge coins. https://guildex.ioSure, looks good. This is one of the best coins out there with an active dev, but there really isn't any team here that's serious about not letting the price fall. It's at 2 Sat now, and with the %, may go into DOGE soon if you guys don't step up. I'm on a Dev team now with GrowthCoin, which is a 5 year old similar coin, and writing the book I mentioned. I can't do much for this coin but hope someone steps up.
