I used to stake this coin in it's early days and then the stakes got too infrequent and it just seemed like the bigger fish were getting the stakes.
What is it like now? I do stake about 12 coins now, some just for DOGE trading. How many million would I need to see about a weekly stake?
Yeah I remember you back then, I think I got in around the same time as you and I'm still here staking away as 808 was one of my first staking coins to stake on my own. Well at first I used to use POSwallet I think it was but then went out and staked on my own and was loving the rewards and still do but the price is a lot lower now but can still earn some nice rewards. Well, I've been staking several coins in the same position as 808 is now. Check out the threads and discords for VulcanoCoin, Diverse, and Stackbit. VulcanoCoin already went through the change and now the value is way up. Not sure of the exact math as it was a 100 to 1 trade. Diverse and Stackbit are currently about to go through the changes. I can see 808 Coin as maybe playing a key role in the music coin business, which I think is very fractured into many different coins. And with the big musicians law Trump just signed, we need to keep making progress. |

I asked this in Discord but just for the record here: how many coins do you need for a 2x weekly stake?
Now that the price has gone down, maybe more people will stake it. 25% is an excellent rate of return today. All you need is ten people to stake it to get the price up instantly.
I was trying to stake Espers before but I couldn't get a stake. Has it changed much in the last year? Difficulty much greater?

I bought Elite from exchange, withdrawn them to my Windows wallet.
Adding staking= 1, and let my wallet fully synced.
However, I can not have active staking.
Please help me.
I did not add "staking=1" but without it staking working now. although it's a rewards very, very low. Just a few coins daily. Absolutely not worth keep it the only reason that the price is very low and now is not the right time to sell. Where would one even add that? Is that some kind of console command or for a .conf file? |

It seems like someone is selling a huge stash of V at Cryptopia right now. I guess someone who got a lot of V back in 2014 just discovered that coin is alive and decided to dump them cheap. Might be a rockytrade wallet - long gone exchange where V was initially listed. Means great invest opportunity right now, with current price it can't go wrong  Price shall rise as soon as dump exhausted and dumped coins changed hands. It wasn't me. I hate when people do that. |

I think the critical word here is "tank". Tanking something is greater than something than dip, it means ruin.

Is there still a block explorer that works? The latest wallet version is the version 1.0?
Good question. There are developers with this coin and hopefully someone here can represent them. I've been watching this lately: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laeV2slJgc8which shows me how to build one. The current version I'm using is 1.0 and it stakes fine. |

Would be great to get this on another exchange. Usually what happens to higher percent POS is that they go into the DOGE realm, and then early adopters and people who don't sell all still win when the coin is swapped/etc. (Notice Vulcano, Stackbit or Diverse recently). This coin has an awesome algorithm and would be great to stake, but the next few months it looks like it might go into DOGE territory.
