For the past few days I've been using bfgminer as a proxy connecting to ghash.io and I've only been getting 32-33gh/s on high. Today I switched over to slush's pool using his proxy and I'm getting 37gh/s+ no problem. (speeds are based on miner not pool)
Why is this?

|
Have you compared what's being reported in cgminer to the actual hash rate on your pool?
What you're seeing in your mining software is not your true hash rate.

My problem was using an Apple Airport Extreme router with an Airport Express...once I switched to a Netgear router all was well! Happily hashing around 37-38gh/s on each of the cubes running through bfgminer/cgwatcher.

It might be wise to lock this thread and update the first and last post directing everyone to the drill bit forums to avoid a split discussion.
No, people do not need 50 forums to check each day. If you don't want any people to discover Drillbit products, then by all means live on a separate forum. Or if you want to easily create topic specific threads (as suggested) live on a separate forum.... Makes perfect sense to me.

I know dz already has a list but would it be helpful to people if there was a thread with a grid of available group buys for in hand hardware and group mining? I'm surprised nobody has put one together yet.
For me, i know it's a PITA to go through these threads every day to see what's available, who's shipping when to where, etc...
This would require a little participation from the organizers as well but may help draw attention to their buys if such a list were stickied at the top.
I'm all ears...

Don't ask me how or why but my 2 cubes just started working out of nowhere... I spoke to soon...not working again.

I'm not having any luck getting mine set up either. They'll start up and accept a few shares then they basically stop. I've even swapped out PSU's to make sure that they're not an issue.
...
I have the same issue. Are you using Slush proxy? I tried both Slush's and another custom. I keep getting this 'error' Yep, same thing as I see.

.015btc bounty to whoever can help me get my asicminer cubes up and running.
I used dogie's guide and my hashrate never goes up past 4000mhs and drops off slowly to 0. Restart and it does the same thing...

I ran through the guide and I'm not able to access the IP I set after I update. I can see it in my IP scanner...any ideas? I'll give a tip to anyone that can help!

So is there a heat issue with these boards? Did you guys overclock, and did any of you use a fan?
Mine were run stock with 2 fans on them.

I'm also receiving "Drillbit detect (2:1) failed to initialize (incorrect device?)" errors. Anyone else seeing this?
I saw that when trying to specify --usb for a device which had gone zombie but not yet been power cycled (but also hadn't gone "no-green-light"). Weird, they're now showing up as "unknown device" in my device list. I had this happen a couple times... completely power cycling seem to help It did indeed, thanks!
