Only fair way I would see a reduction greater than 5% would be voting it and with the approval of the dev. Otherwise, 5% every month is equal to or more than 50% a year. I can see the incremental 5% would prevent wild swings in prices.

Don't worry about the diff being too low, I swear it's doubling by the day  Probably going to double in a week or so. All those people having their storage servers cranking out them plots on dual/quad cpu Xeon's (48/96 cores), that's my theory. lol |

i can open the wallet from other machine in browser, i mean on other machine, i can type in the http://wallet-ip-srv:8125 and open my wallet. And start the miner as command below: but still same problem. Note that i'm using pocminer_v1 not the pocminer_pool_v1 one. get rid of the / after the 8125 I assume that you put in the wallet ip server address in place of the wallet-ip-srv. ie. http://10.0.0.5:8125. How's the v2 miner coming along? Is it still on target to come out in 3 to 5 days still? In the new miner, will it have a log of the deadline times and will the pool mining stats show what deadline that it submits to the pool? Is there a chance that the gpu plot generator could be released? Thanks for you diligence with the up keeping and hard work on this coin, your are truly appreciated. |

I will be buying this coin for whatever y'all wanna dump it for. So keep the dumping. This is like XC. Heavily undervalued before getting pumped to into top 10 within 2 months
We should really try to get this on bittrex Best to get this on an exchange that has experience with NXT. Poloniex, BTER, BTC38 and/or Cryptsy. I agree but there are so many supporters of this coin, we can hit them all. Does anyone realize the significance of a 160+ page ANN before the coin even hit major exchanges? This is going moonbound. There's still some refinements to make this coin blast off. Still have to improve the mining, get coding to C++, more services/products, speed up plot generation and some PR. Also little things: like better log mining in the miner, a way to pause and start a plot creation without having to start over and simplified miner/wallet. I agree this coin definitely will have a promising future. |

Look at the similarities of how Duff__man posts some example work and Wulfcastle, even using the same font on his name. This is on top of all the other 'coincidences' Link these guys together and it means Burstcoin is just one of the many scams this guy has been involved in....sorry.    Don't forget Duffman is a Simpsons character too. some hard dumping by the developer I'm guessing on BTER now. Oh stop it now. Obviously no one is believing you. There is no reason to "rescue" my BTC because I didn't put any into this coin. Mining and patiently holding is the key. Don't understand how anybody can sell that low.
Even if the prices stay around where there at, the cost of mining this is way lower than gpu/asic mining. ie. electricity is low and hardware is cheaper. Why is the price falling so much on c-cex?

Mining costs of this coin is relatively low, so being patient is key. |

I was on the IRC channel last night talking with the developers of this coin (they didn't know it was me under this name), and they were talking about how they are planning to do a massive dump later this week.
So if I were you, I'd sell off my BURST coins to some sucker immediately.

If we can't show volume on an exchange that specifically integrated nxt just to have burst what makes you guys think that other exchanges will care? You want to get on other exchanges? Every coin that breaks 30+ btc volume on ccex always gets picked up keep that in mind....
30+ btc on ccex? what a dream! There's nothing over 3 btc.. Total volume is 16.03 BTC I'll help you since you are new, coins that broke 30 btc recently on ccex. .. unnatanium, eutopia, joincoin, vaultcoin, boomcoin, etc etc there's many more but you get the point. Now burst I consider to be superior to those coins that broke 30 btc so therefor there shouldn't be an issue. I hope! They are a terrible tool of market manipulation (pump/dump) and fud. There's already twitter, BTCTalk, and/or other platforms to talk about cryptos. At this point, I feel that Poloniex or BTER probably are the best chances for another exchange to accept this coin. Cryptsy would be next in line of the other two, sometimes accept coins that aren't well known. C-Cex or SecureAE don't really show the potential the coin can do if it was on a exchange with way larger trading volume. Sometime coins on C-Cex that get 30BTC volume don't always succeed on larger exchange and usually are pump/dump coins for the short term. |

Not even sure where to start with that, but I'd rather wait until we have actual new features in addition to just new mining to do promotion. Any plans to use the data in the plots for data storage?
If you have any ideas on how to actually do that, I'd be interested to know, but it's not a priority regardless. How far off is the v2 pool being done? Sounds logical with waiting to make sure all the new features are in place before a PR team. As far as the data storage, I wouldn't know where to start since my programming skills are novice at most. Probably is possible and a fork would probably have to be done to implement it. I'm hoping to release a new client update within the next 1-2 days that goes into affect 2-3 days after that, and I would expect to have the v2 pool ready to go by then, so 3-5 days. The problem with data storage, is with the current system, anyone can generate the same plot given the address/nonce combination stored in the blockchain to verify things, but if you try to do data storage, not everyone can store a copy of all the data. Thanks for the tentative schedule for the pool v2. True, if the data had to be sync through out the network. |
