Look at toma. He is 16 points ahead than the 2nd place. In the next season give him -16 to start the season LOL. This is a wrong place for this guy. Anyway, what I meant is congratulations Tome on winning 0.1 BTC. It's fucking a lot of money 😉

I don't think that's the final table. Tomahawk was and still is 15 points clear before the round started so the table probably hasn't updated yet.

I'm in, and if there is an auction I'll see what I can do, I've not been able to compete personally with big sponsors (all the better, of course) but if there's really no demand, I'll throw my hat in;)

Thank god for Superbru, honestly;)

I'll probably start it tomorrow at £/$100 or something but I don't expect it to go for much to be honest but anything we get is a nice bonus.

11 users signed up so far. Let's get it to 20 so we can start paying more places.

Will we have sponsor for this pool?

Not unless anyone offers, but I might start an auction thread for it soon.

What sub was it in? Maybe it was a mistake as it doesn't seem to be against the rules, unless someone counted it as a paid spam attack or something.
If  you check the unedited archives (https://ninjastic.space/topic/5338426) it does not seem to have any spam attack or such things. It was in the Games and rounds sub, but it should be better in either Service or Altcoin (Bounty) board.

PS: If you have the authority then please review the ban against the user too. And let us know.

Cheers buddy.

Well it could be seen as paying people to spam Elon. I can remove the ban but it's best to find out who banned him first.
847  Other / Meta / Re: Propaganda and political operatives in PS sub on: May 20, 2021, 12:27:00 PM
It appears that terrorist propiganda is being posted in various P&S threads. Hamas is not only designated as a terrorist organization, but is also subject to OFAC sanctions.

The propaganda is not limited to one thread. There is another thread advocating for the mass murder of Jews whose replies contain pro-terrorism propaganda.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. One man's propaganda is another man's truth. Many people would say Israel is a terror state and Palestine is practically an open air concentration camp. Who is right and who is wrong? Who gets to decide what is propaganda or not? The mods? Misinformation and propaganda is rife from both sides and both have committed war crimes. Neither can be trusted and both are as bad as each other but I'd say usually the bigger terrorist is the one with the bigger weapon. Should we count both Hamas and Israel as terrorist organisations? What about both the US and UK governments which also commit war crimes and atrocities far bigger than both Hamas and Israel, but we allow both pro and anti arguments regarding them. I don't see anything wrong with the image posted above regardless of whether you agree with it or not but the other thread which is arguably calling for genocide could certainly be removed. Did anyone report it because I can't see any reports on it? It's probably a troll account either way.

I am in, sure not gonna miss paid pool here on the forum. I am expecting we will get to around 20 people for this. Should be interesting change of pace from those season long pools.

Hopefully, but the Euros/World Cups don't seem to be as popular as the PL, and the pot won't be anywhere as big and that was a big draw for the current PL pool. I thought more people would have signed up already.

Excellent competition but if I am not wrong this should belong to investor-based-games because it requires a fees to join. I am sorry I am daring to question the moderator but just curious if it actually belongs there.

Lol. It's a gambling pool not a ponzi that requires you to 'invest' in something.

Leicester are the FA Champions, I would not say it's not a deserved victory, but Chelsea deserve better too, imo.

Could this be the beginning of an heartbreaking end to the season for Chelsea fans, I mean imagine losing both finals and dropping out of the top 4, what could be more wrenching?

I'd be surprised if Chelsea beat City in the CL final. I know they won their last two games against them but I think City will be taking this a lot more seriously. Either way I couldn't be less excited about that match. I would have been had City won the FA Cup but a domestic CL final is never great.

You’re jinxing it, right?  Grin  And we all know City chokes at these big crucial matches.  i’m rooting for them to win, I’m going to bet on them to win but I wouldn’t be too surprised if we see City in their ‘off day’ at the final.

I don't really care but I'm sure both teams will give it their all. I just think City are the far better team and if they can't beat Lecister in the FA Cup final then I doubt they'll fair much better in the CL one.

If anyone wants to join the EURO 2021 pool the sign up thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5338519.new#new

It'll probably be 0.001 to join.

For the past few years I've organised betting pools for the English Premier League along with the Champions League and the World Cup and now I'm starting one for the upcoming European Championships which starts on the 11th of June and runs for a month until 11 July.

We will be using the www.superbru.com website again for both tournaments where you get 3 points for predicting an exact score, 1 point for a correct outcome (win/lose/draw) and 1.5 for a close prediction with correct outcome and the winner will be the person who gets the most points at the end of it. The fee to join will be around £25-35 in bitcoin but I will probably keep the fee to BTC0.001 which is currently £27.90. All the money paid into the pool will be split amongst the winner(s). Depending on how many people play will depend on how many places are paid out. If there's only around ten then it'll likely just be the first place, but if there's 20-30 users it will likely be top 5, and if we get 30-50 I may do top ten like we are currently doing for the Premier League pool. If you're interested at signing up for around £25-30/BTC0.001 then please sign up here. I won't be collecting the money in until about a week before the pool so don't worry if you can't make the payment straight away.

855  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I NEED HELP, ALL MY MONEY TURN INTO bitcoins and I can't take it OUT on: May 16, 2021, 06:00:55 PM
Assuming you're not just trying to scam someone directly using this pretense if a website is asking you to send bitcoins to release payment then it's almost certainly a scam. Do not send them any money unless you want to waste more than time.

I can't see any reports on your post directly but there's a handful for posts in that thread reported as low quality and it's been locked so it was probably just deemed as unnecessary.
