The complaint, filed on Friday against Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O), Meta Platforms Inc (META.O), Snap Inc (SNAP.N) and TikTok-owner ByteDance with the U.S. District Court, claimed they purposefully designed their products to hook young people to their platforms and were creating a mental health crisis.

Never a dull day at MtGox HQ. The DDoSers must be milking every last chance before the big exchanges at CoinLab and CoinSetter arrive, and before BitStamp gets bigger. Once there is more than one big exchange, DDoS of any one will have much less effect. Meanwhile the entire system grows stronger every time it is attacked, with the attackers being rewarded for their services in strengthening the system, effectively paving the way for further growth.

Without the attacks that have been occurring at a billion-dollar market cap, Bitcoin wouldn't be ready for the kinds of attacks that will come at ten and a hundred billion dollars.

Bye bye.

Thanks dude, you did a great job organizing the league and I am glad we could resolve this without any issue.

This is the outcome when adults deal with a problem, no-one is completely happy but no-one is screwed totally.

I did bang a chick on her dads pool table when I was a kid and still have the scars on my knees, I don't recommend it.

*Left with her frantically trying to scrubbing off the smooge

Good lord! Thats very naughty!
Did you play her Dad a round of eight ball after the fact with a smirk on your face?

Never met him I was a private and he was a Colonel.

I have a buddy that broke his dads pool table banging a one night stand.

Hah, thats one shitty table. Smiley

Interesting...I can think of other uses... (oh jeezus... I'm watching too much porn...)

Hah, I wanted one to use as a bed like in a movie I saw as a kid when I was young, think is was a Rutger Hauer flick Bounty hunter or some such thing.

To me, sirazimuth seems more like a ping-pong kind of a guy.  #nohomo

....

Indeed...
I used to ping, now I like to pong.... #nohomo

Oh ffs greekman, satire or not... no one is gonna read that shit. Who fucking cares.

Just throw a pool table in there and drop a ping/pong ontop when you want.

I haven't used my pool table since New Years party 2010 so be aware it may just end up taking space and gathering dust.

I'm thinking of using it for a base for a large 3d printer.

So if Hueristic agrees to a tie as well we can say this issue is settled and each one can send their bitcoin address to DireWolfM14.

The only remaining issue, even if it is a small one, is that assuming we declare the game a tie yahoo still recognized me as the champion, it would be nice if Hueristic could get the same recognition, but I doubt the platform has the tools to do this, since they were also struggling to figure out how to deal with this unexpected event.

Anyway there is not much else to say except this was a very weird and unsatisfactory way to end the FF season.

I'm not concerned what yahoo shows as this is a throwaway account I use for this league anyway and my other real one got the win anyway. Smiley

As you said it was a bummer but I could not think of a better player to get a tie with, you played a great season and stuck it out and triumphed in the end.

Even if I set the scores to 0-0 then I think it would set me as the winner as per pre playoff seeding.

So if anyone is interested this is a good primer on how the NFL ALumni Acadamy is working with the XFL to provide players.

I'm checking into the leagues now and have found a site https://newshubfantasy.com and am checking it out.

I'll probably join a xfl ff fun team just to get a hang of it this year.

Well I was hoping the gD BE CONTINUED AND WE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS BUT OF COURSE THATS NOT THE CASE.

Typeing on shit kybd at casino sry.

So I wont be home until maybe tomorrow, I left when the game got postponed.

This is obviousley unpresendated terrirtory as in the past it was assumed games would always be completeleted and have even when players have died. So the league is changing their stance without prior notification and are openeing themselfs up to liabilities which I don't doubt will e settled in court with big players.

Even Damar Hamlin asked who won after he woke up and was told what happened so there was even an expectation from him.

What really sucks besides the guy dropping dead is this had culmilated into one of the greatest matchups in fantasy to date. all the stars aligned for the top players to all be in a position to put up huge numbers. I was really expecting some massive numbers for my number one and 3 pick in this game and am pretty disappointed that we cant see an exiting end.

As Southpark offered I'm of the opinion a tie is the most appropriate outcome.

I guess we could play the gme next week if he wants and I would be fine with that but I relly dont know how playoff contentions and such would effect the play time next week and I have no way to check the teams as I don't have the password with me for the league.

Its weird I had this trepidation about this game and couldn't understand why as its not that important in the scheme of things but i just couldnt shake the thought of something i couldn't put my finger on.

Anyho this is the first game in history that a injury has effected and entire industry.

The NFL announced Thursday night that it has canceled the remainder of the Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals and will designate the game as a “no contest,” leaving the two franchises with only 16 games in the 2022 schedule.

853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 05, 2023, 05:07:25 PM
This is why I think it needs to be shifted to flag football or some variation of that until they reach college.  I don't know how this will work, but I just don't think there will be any other choice.
This would be the most sensible choice, however so much money moves at the college level that it is difficult for me to see how this transition could play out, but at some point it has to happen as underage football players should have no business hitting each other at full speed when their bodies are still developing, and while the ability the body has to recover at that age is incredible, at the same time injuries slowly begin to accumulate, so it would be preferable this process started as late as possible, now it would be optimal if this process never started at all but on sports like football or boxing this is inevitable.
Yeah I'm not sure how this could all play out but something needs to happen.  I had no business play tackle football in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.  As a running back I was getting mini-concussions pretty much every single practice and game and multiple times each practice and game.  That's scary.  The guy who discovered CTE said something like just three years of youth football increases once chance of suicide by like 40% ( or something very high like that).  Maybe it's flag until you get to Jr and Sr year in high school, that could be a decent start?

There's actually a good argument against this;  I don't recall when or where I read it, but many years ago there was a study about injuries in football, and it suggested that high school and college football players that didn't play tackle football in Little League or didn't play tackle football in Jr. High were more prone to injuries than the ones who had been playing throughout their childhoods.  Obviously the intentions are good, but often times when people meddle with things they don't understand it only makes things worse.

Well, it looks like Yahoo has made the final decision for our league:  Congrats to our Champion South Park, and our 2nd place Hueristic.

When ever you guys have a chance, PM me your addresses and I'll send you the loot.

If official NFL scoring changes impact the result of your Week 17 matchup, we will retroactively adjust Week 18 matchups to reflect the change.

Payouts for Private and Public Prize Leagues will not be processed until a final decision is made by the NFL on the Bills-Bengals game status.

League commissioners in private free leagues have the choice to make manual changes through their commissioner tools but we encourage commissioners to wait until the NFL makes a final decision on the game's status.

If your league has any active Week 18 playoff matchups, you should set your lineup as usual.

The Week 17 Bills-Bengals game is currently in a postponed state. As such, all stats accumulated hold as is for now (as per official NFL gamebook).

You make me want to both ignore you and merit you in every iteration, that is why you are so easy to spot.

Huh? Are you really implying that I’m some sort of machine? Hahahahahaha.
Maybe the email I registered with on this forum is misleading, yo. Wink

I’ll take WO’s merits, anytime, even from the scumbags like you.

And that is the one thing you have zero control over.

And neither do you, it’s not a human thing ya know.
So much for your personal text, pfff, I’m pretty sure you never saw this coming.

{lots of snips}

The problem is … the problem is 80-90% of the posters in this thread.
Here is a little teaser I came up with, +3 WO’s merit to whomever cracks it:

“What do the users nutildah, xhomerx10, BitcoinGirl.Club, Hueristic, suchmoon, … and [probably others] … have in common?

_ _ E . _ _ _ _ _ _ E _ _ . _ _ _ E . _ _ _ _

Damn, did I kick you into your manic phase already?

I am torn on this because I would have been careful NOT to share information while the attack is going on and things like that, and then being publicly known makes it seem as if even additional precautions might be needed.

Signed,

If he didn't want to talk about it then he shouldn't have tweeted about it for the whole goddamn world to see.

The tech is impressive.  The last images of a "bot" farm I saw consisted of rows of ipads operated by humans (China I think).

especially impressive is the bot that appears to be reading something in the last part of the video

I hope they publish the bot accounts, it will be interesting to see the numbers/sites.

Interesting turn of events if true, can't believe an OG would store his BTC in such a way that it's accessible to others. Surely it's some sort of a troll?

sounds like a boating accident

I thought the same but the coinjoin transactions make me think otherwise. Of course he could also have made those transactions
