We're back on the track! The code underwent some major changes and the wallet swap is mandatory. The OP is updated with latest versions but here's the link anyway: Wallet DownloadMake sure that you use these nodes: addnode=104.193.43.106 addnode=108.61.29.219 Bittrex is informed about fork and asked for a few extra days so we could have enough time to withdraw our funds before they remove the wallet. The actuall daadline is June 5th. The update will follow as soon as they get back to us. If you're having a truble compiling the new client from the source or need any sort of guidance feel free to contact this gnarly dude above or shavers. And all of you supporting us through these restless waters will get rewarded with some sweet stuff from our kitchen. GMC Fondation Easiest way to add the nodes is by going to the debug console in the wallet and add: addnode 104.193.43.106 add
And addnode 108.61.29.219 add Waiting to see if they connect now.

we have no news of dev + server is now down = end of the coin ? I noticed earlier that the blockchain stopped moving too. It's going again, but I guess I'm the only one mining it? The server for the explorer is down, because the funds ran out. The ones at multifaucet should still work, though. I was thinking of doing a big giveaway to get more people attracted again. Hopefully more on that soon. Do you know if anyone tried to get Frycoin on Cryptopia? On the voting page it states "We have a strict NO delist policy, Once listed your coin has a permanent home " Have not tried that yet, so be my guest I submitted it, they added it to voting https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/VotingIf you don't have a Cryptopia account and don't mind using my referral link, here it is... https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Register?referrer=m1n3xch Thanks! I'm voting for it but looks like the paid DOT votes is the best way to get a coin listed. They add coins right away for 5mil DOTcoin. I may try to mine some DOTcoin and throw it into the voting for Frycoin. Great! I hope we can get listed again!

I think the CANN supply can be inadequate (in quantity) to support the medical part of the cannabis business if parity is temporarily reached in the US but circulation doesn't happen. It has to exfiltrate to multiple niches and back to keep the economy going. Otherwise the peg needs to be raised maybe tenfold or more. If the bankers' attitude doesn't change this possibility is worth considering. If the majority of dispensaries adopt it at the pegged value it will need to be spent by dispensary owners as well. Especially if they decide to sell all their products at the pegged price. Why? Because cannabis is being produced and consumed at an increasing rate and there's a virtually unlimited supply but the coin is capped. I think the peg adjustment will become a reality for this reason if the banks keep sitting on the fence. Coin shortages would happen if the peg is not readjusted in time. So much weed, not enough coins... 92 million or so coins vs. tons and tons of MMJ. CANN will need to be cycled many times or readjusted to support such a market.
92 million grams of weed=92 tons. That's not very much imho. How much is that in time? Maybe 3-5 days of supply calculating with 10M heavy users, 20 days tops with the same number of moderate/minimal consumers if it gets accepted in most states.
If the cann would be sold back to the community that problem would be solved

I really like the new Bittrex layout, especially the long term charts are much nicer.
After some hesitation to change, I am also warming up to the new design of the site

What do we have the next in our pipeline?
I'm experimenting with some blockchain ideas, but we're also entertaining the idea of PoS. We don't want to go the traditional PoS route, we'd rather do something more unique and productive. There are still a few features that need some further work done in 2.1, but that's pending for a few reasons. It's definitely been a busy period of time recently and bound to only get more intense. Best regards, syntaks POS is a good distributed approach, but can also prove to be quite risky as it often has blockchain issues. Many coins have died off after a wrong implementation. When done well, on the other hand, it is less centralized than PoW is, so I prefer it. Hoarding of coins is an issue, though. We've thought about this and share the same feelings, believe me. I'm not a huge fan of PoS, however, I have some ideas I'm going to be fabricating into a staging chain and I'll release details after I've verified it's feasible. =) Some people are having a discussion about the success/failures and associated risks of going POS here on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1065172.0With PoW there's a cost associated with producing a coin with mining equipment and electricity so miners won't sell their coins any cheaper than that which creates a floor price. With PoS there is no cost of production, you just have to own and hold coins which also means that everybody can stake their coins. Another significant difference is that newly generated PoS coins are going to people who are already holding the coins as a reward. That is generally not true for PoW. And more coins mean inflation so in essence PoS coins are rewarding stakers with free coins at the cost of inflation. Personally it doesn't make sense to me why anyone would invest into PoS coins especially considering the average lifespan of coins and how rapidly things change in crypto - but that's jut me.
So I'm not saying we shouldn't go POS but we should give it a careful attention before making the leap if we do. Because once we go POS, its never going back to POW. Very good points. What it actually the main reason we're considering changing?

I got to many problems with this coin , and now i see the chain got stuck at block 1096771 , maybe is just my wallet pool stuck i dont know , the block explorer is down , so i will shutdown the stratum on coinminers pool so miners pls withdraw your coins
Block explorer will be back shortly. Not sure why it's down. my pool is messed up, but not the BE. I'm guessing something got reset. Hang on. EDIT. It's back up. For reasons unknown, the server rebooted. Should be in sync in a few minutes. Thanks, I was wondering about that Did it only synch till May 16?
