I kind of figured. The way you sorted posters seemed to indicate quite a bit more lurking than your account age would suggest. Hopefully this account doesn't fall into the trap smoothie does where I really want to ignore him and then he starts trolling someone who really needs it (not that smoothie is usually any better than the receiving party).

Been here less than 2 days and your mentoring people LMAO
LOL if you notice it is a PARODY of my account hahahaha I'm flattered. I'm not sure their doing a very good job if they would say something as civil as: It's pretty subjective, and I wouldn't call for anyone to ignore people on the 'not important' list.
Maybe that's part of the parody though. Maybe they are just think beverage that is just too polite to ignore. Then again... I think they did start posting right away with the alt-currencies board...

Part of the problem from your dump is that it is appears you are trying to mine on an HD4600 series... To my knowledge only the HD4670 and 4800's support OpenCl, and barely at that. See if you can find a more modern card to try, you will get better OpenCL support and better (if diminishing) returns.
He has a 4670, if you read the dump. The HD4000 series introduces OpenCL support. Although I have not tried a 4000 series, the hardware wiki suggests they work, at least, worked with the older miner versions used to test them. They all support OpenCL 1.0. The integrated 4xxx series don't because they are actually RV620. Just like the 3xxx integrated are actually RV610. I can't imagine any devs working on miners caring about compatibility with these cards though. Ah, I didn't manage to pick out it was a 4670 from the dump. I only spotted the series...

It's more of 'is this user important or not', a lot of people are serious.
Serious / important people: conspirosphere.tk PsychoticBoy - runs ABM usagi - ran GLBSE funds with questionable practices, silver asset is pretty legit TradeFortress - btcinvest looks promising Deprived - very active in the securities section with high quality contributions MPOE-PR frequently trolling but you're stupid if you ignore her Namworld - runs various high quality assets (except BTCMINING which loaned out their coins during the period where loans were like the mortgage bubble)
Totally ignore because troll Monster Tent - "P.S. In almost all cases where someone uses a woman as their forum avatar they turn out to be a scammer. " LOL
Just irrelevant (/ not important) The people here aren't people you should ignore - a lot of people here trade bitcoins, buys assets, et cetra but they're not really people I consider important.
Tritonio marketersales - asks for loans and lawns straight out of newbie queue regular camolist - not important stochastic - lots of posts, doesn't matter viboracecata Bitinvestor dishwara - not important, he did run the DISHWARA asset in a pretty joke style
Undetermined WinTame2012
Post an address and claim your prize. Not quite the rankings I'd give. I'd throw some people in different categories. Still, it seems like you put some effort into it.

People monitor the network hashrate closely enough, that this is almost definitely not the case. At least not right now...

5) Want to know which forum members you should ignore right off the bat?
If you post an address I'll send you 0.25 BTC for telling me where the people posting in this thread fall into the following categories: - Take seriously
- Totally Ignore because troll
- Just Irrelevant
- Importance/Reputation are indeterminate
I don't care how you order people or really what you have to say about them at all. I just want to see a public demonstration of your knowledge. Like the oral examinations that used to be important in academia's past. Edit: included link to thread for evaluation, please check all three pages for posters.

Last price on mtgox $27.70 .. Has the pop today in bitcoin price got anything to do with the Avalon orders taken yesterday? They're only accepting bitcoin of course. Avalon was taking pre-orders yesterday for the next batch and apparently sold out fairly quickly. There were about 100 left when I looked. Anyone know how many units in the whole batch?
I think the last I read was they were trying to sell 500 in this batch. People acquiring bitcoin to purchase Avalons probably did little to the price. The fact that ASICs are putting a higher barrier to entry on mining might be part of what has been fueling this latest upswing.

Wow - this is something new to me... being a 5 day old newbie, I've been reading a LOT, but there's obviously a lot more yet I have to read!
What on earth is pyramining? O.o
http://www.pyramining.com/Please think before joining blindly. Once you have created an account, its final. Read the FAQ,look at the stats and think before joining. Pyraminers: There are already enough referral threads, don't turn this into another one! This, so much this. With ASICs making the future of mining returns uncertain, it is probably best to take delivery on any mining investments.

You didn't include any fees. The standard client would make them optional, but I've noticed the miners like to at least receive some token fee. Right now, on this transaction, our only remedy is waiting. In the future attaching a fee for the miners, something like 0.001-0.001 can go a long way to getting your transaction confirmed faster.

I have tried at least 5 different mining programs, but most of all GUIminer. They all launch, their icon appears on my taskbar and then just disappears like it crashed or closed itself. Below is a DXdiag dump of my system info. I really want to get GUIminer to work because its my preferred mining program. Part of the problem from your dump is that it is appears you are trying to mine on an HD4600 series... To my knowledge only the HD4670 and 4800's support OpenCl, and barely at that. See if you can find a more modern card to try, you will get better OpenCL support and better (if diminishing) returns.

it would be hard coded into the wallet client, when you send it would automatically delete the file. You could also say the creators of the wallet client could take advantage, but already they could in theory make all wallet clients send BTC to them.
Public coding is good because anyone can look at it and make sure, this can also apply to this design as well.
The thing about open source is not everyone has to run the same client. Whatever authentication you might attempt to keep people honest will probably be circumvented, and this is before we get to the problem of how to execute change transactions when the whole private key is signed over. Will you send change to the normal network and pay the fee before handing over the private key? The closest thing I can think of to what you want is Open Transactions, but it doesn't work the way the system you are describing does.

To the bitcoin balance in your wallet, you have your own private keys. When you make a transfer to another person, it costs a transaction fee. Now If I transfer the private key to another computer, and delete it off mine, the other computer would have the bitcoins and not mine.
Is it possible to create a wallet client, that transfers private keys? And then states your balance? Wouldn't this in plain theory avoid all transaction fees?
Basically I would be sending private keys as a transaction, and he would get the coins.
The problem is that deletion introduces an element of trust.

Regarding how a currency based on bitcoin can track an external value, that is what I wrote my paper about (see my sig).
I am prejudiced against anything in the document you link to in your signature because I consider the title you have given to this document to be highly offensive. So much, this.

Why should I give away my ideas? As you say, a scam might be involved and the scam might be to simply pretend to be offering me a loan to see if I have though of something interesting that the person allegedly offering me the loan can bring to life themselves.
If he considered my question a scam, then why didn't he delete the entire question, lock it immediately, and/or simply post an administrative warning that he considers the question to be preparation for a scam?
What I think the warning signal was was that maybe he realized that he's not the smartest guy on his site. It's not a wonder that Luno notes that a same users' answers keep getting chosen as the accepted answer there – perhaps this "I don't won't anyone smarter or more knowledgeable than me here, so let's push them out" is a general rule at Rugatu. The 0.01-or-similar BTC rewards are not really something anyone would grab over for, so I don't see that as a plausible reason for what Luno notes. I thought of such a site as a place to exchange knowledge between someone having an idea – me – and someone possessing some needed information – others – with a little Bitcoin tip involved to avoid spending time on gathering and analyzing information that someone else has already gathered and analyzed or is, perhaps, more familiar with the topic.
Well... The sites on the Gambling board tend to be much safer investments than most things on the Long term offers board. If as you propose you idea is come sort of new crypto algorithm, it isn't really much of a business idea anyway. Secure crypto tends to require a lot of peer review to advance and there's little to no money patenting it because the quality of public domain crypto is excellent. Whether you intend to scam or not I doubt there is much appetite to finance your effort, because the best outcome is probably going to be you develop your algorithm and default on the loan because you have produced a product without a market. Without regard for what else you have posted: soliciting for a long term low detail loan without at least building up some reputation on WOT or through other transactions makes it hard to take you seriously.

At Rugatu – a Bitcoin-driven questions and answers community –a dangerous manipulative psychopath with the username "paraipan" and administrator privileges keeps removing parts of other users' posts and then claims that the person swore, removes the part of the comment in which the target explains that they're having problems with the state as they were beaten by police and arrested by the General Criminality, Terrorism, and War Crimes Service of the Republic of Croatia following a notification to the European Court of Human Rights, keeps deleting parts of the targets' other comments, awaits the targets' response, and then deletes his own comment, making it seem like the targets' comment (response) was out of line. If the target copy-pastes the parts of the question – which he claims contain swearing – from the questions' history, he removes them and only leaves the targets' negative commentary without the proof supplied by the target. As I have already dealt with two such manipulative psychopaths at a local legal aid Web site at which I provided legal aid – quoted relevant laws, international contracts, and the Constitution – to victims of civil and human rights abuse at the hands of the state, with two moderators – probable state employees – deleting my posts and suggesting to the victims to pay the unwarranted fines, comply with police decisions without requesting a judicial procedure, and even disregard a childs' right to express her wishes in front of a court – and comply with the decision of the Centre for Social Welfare, instead – with these same moderators, after the people I assisted posted objections to the deletions, deleting their objections as well, claiming that they swore – I saw their posts; they didn't – I learned that when dealing with manipulative psychopaths with moderator and/or administrator privileges, one should take screenshots of their own posts. This is my experience at Rugatu: I started participating at Rugatu a few days ago and have previously not encountered anyone with that username. Who is this manipulative psychopath – "paraipan"; is it the owner of Rugatu himself? Is it a government employee of some country or someone else; why are they harboring him, then? My account at Rugatu was suspended minutes after copy-pasting proof for everyone to see; the welcome message states that I have been suspended to "reflect [my] attitude". It is possible that my posts shall be manipulated further. Your profile on the site is here: http://www.rugatu.com/users/1992/nlovric, apparently you were given a "three day suspension to reflect on attitude." Your screenshots are barely legible, so I'm guessing you got combative in your discussions with paraipan who as near as I can tell is the site's only admin. Rugatu's where I got some of my first low effort bitcoins, and it is one of the few free bitcoin sites that allowed me to get an appreciable amount of bitcoins. I've claimed a whole BTC reward there once as well as several bitquarters, bitdimes, and bitnickles. I don't frequent there as much as when I got started in Bitcoin, but is was a useful site to get some initial coin on. With your question Affordable long-term loans in Bitcoins, I have to wonder if maybe you started setting of some warning signs that you might be looking to scam. Generally bitcoiners are suspicious, more so than they used to be about lending with terms like "The native person or legal entity providing the loans will not be provided with the exact details of most projects and will not be provided with any information at all on some more-classified projects." I'm not sure being a jerk to you when you offer scambait crosses the line into being a dangerous psychopath.

Sorry, my bad. It was supposed to hit about 13,000 miles west and make me one with the planet. I'm just so embarrassed right now, how will I ever carry out my mother's legacy now. I trick those scheming kids and the power company out of the black materia and manage to fuck it up like this? Make fat jakes about Kim Jun Un so I might have another shot at this while competing for five bitcents. http://www.rugatu.com/questions/7308/kim-jung-un-fat-jokesI'll try to do better if you can help me get a shot at another meteor.

Try Vircurex? I can't remeber any other.
Vicurex is nice too, haven't tried them too much. Their transfer fees are a little high though. Would probably go down if more people used them too. It's not a bad site. I use it on the regs.
