841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning with BTCs? on: May 14, 2017, 07:41:32 PM
Any decision you make will come with risks unless you just keep the BTC for its own valorization. Despite that i like margin trading lending ( you lend to traders inside the trading platform like bitfinex or poloniex - not risk free but its pretty safe because the colateral is the funds of the borrower and their position is closed before he can spend the colateral.)
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 14, 2017, 07:08:45 PM
I like  (1) Keep Bitcoin (2) Monero for anonimity (3) ETH the number on products that are developing ontop of Eth is a good sign of dynamics (4) TKN - tokencard because i like the idea of a debit card linked to crypto (5) PIVX (Real high hops about this one but real doubts right now).
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First trade of altcoin, I am on the right direction ? on: May 09, 2017, 07:38:01 PM
That´s the theory. buy low, sell high. the only problem is that you dont ever know where is the peak and can be stuck with is called a bag...
To buy like that you should choose "good" coins and try to figure out if they are not to pumped..you will certaily get a bag, but if it is a bag of a coin with pottencial it will eventually come back. if not you can end up with a bag full of nothing.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX speculatation + POLONIEX? on: May 09, 2017, 07:31:10 PM
What is the cheapest exchange to trade pivx? from what I understand bittrex is 0.50% total for a buy and a sell, polo and kraken have the advantages of fees based on volume.
Cryptopia takes a percentage as well i think.... but im not sure.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar price speculation on: May 09, 2017, 08:54:39 AM
After the pump, came the dump. is it to soon to think recovery? What are your opiions on this?
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did Kraken and Poloniex go down last night at the same time? on: May 08, 2017, 10:05:55 PM
What happened last night was not the first time.... Its a big coincidence when it happens right on top of a big pump / dump. Very odd coincidence or very ugly price manipulation.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX speculatation + POLONIEX? on: May 08, 2017, 09:57:52 PM
With PIVX price dropping slowly i hope polo guys start to stack to then make there move, list it, pump it and dump it for a biilion:) With a few DDOS in the middle...
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: May 06, 2017, 03:09:01 PM
I have been told that don't accept payments via paypal, is that right?
Because when buyer will have his bitcoins then he can claim back money from paypal by saying that i haven't received desired product.

The charge back is true, but is not that easy when you send friends and family. I got scammed once. was a newbie sent paypal first as F&F and didnt get the BTC. claimed with paypal and they responded that it was my responsability to send via Friends and Family. So charge back is possible, but with F&F you have to claim a hack to the account and loose it.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: May 06, 2017, 03:05:47 PM
My approache to the hold /sell process is about trying to be calm and rational, define a strategy and try to hold on to it without emotional changes.
I have a stash of coins for long term hold and a small stash of coins to trade. the one i trade are essentially  for day trading and i take out profits as low as 1% to try and reduce the possibility of going to bed with bad coins that could never recover again. It´s been working so far overall, but some bags are stashed as well.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earn money with lending btc?! on: May 03, 2017, 07:46:34 AM
I´m a fan of margin lending. For me was a good way to begin trading. The i spent looking at the exchanges where i had BTC on lending orders was a time i spent learning how the exchange worked. So even the profit is low compared to other forms of cryptocurrency earnings, it is pretty good compared to traditional banks, namely in europe with near zero rates. So IMHO the rates are decent and its a good way to learn being in the exchange.
But what if the lender doesn't know how trade bitcoins? Trading is risky and Lending is a stable incomr and you will lose some bitcoins it depends if the borrower runs the money but there is a collateral to put on before you approved in their loan request, He can lend on poloniex but just for low rate but your money is very secured and you can get it whenever you want and it is automated so your money automaticaly transfer in your balance.
Margin lending refers to kind of lending that goes on in exchanges, like poloniex. The colateral there is the actual account and you can never borrow more tahn you can pay. There is a small risk anyway, as in any kind on investment. If the exchange itself closes e turns to be a scam or in a major , major market drop that implodes the whole system. anyway considereing risk and benefit IMHO margin lending in exchanges such as poloniex with an established rep is fairly safe.

852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade shitcoins? on: May 01, 2017, 10:32:43 PM
I alocate a very small amount to shitcoins trading/gambling. To be quite honest i don´t always do research. just look at the market, the volume, how the coin is doing for the past few hours to days and daytrade .
Usually get some profit. Sometimes keep the bags and just let an open order there. a few days later i wake up in the morning and the profit is done.
this gambling has given me profit so far, but even so i do it with very small amounts so i dont end up crying over the bags:)
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: April 28, 2017, 09:07:21 PM
what will happen if i sell mrai at my own price? how long will get to transfer the exchange amount in my mercatox btc wallet? i am noob plz help me

You see a list of buy orders and sell orders. that is exactly what you will do. Suppose you want to sell for 2000 sats. you just put a sell order of your MRAI for 2000 sats . The time to sell is exactly the time until someone is willing to pay that amount. It could never happen, or it could happen really fast. it depends on the relations between supply and demand, buy and sell orders

856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 27, 2017, 07:23:31 AM
Poloniex and other exchanges are a business. If the coins dont perform and have limited volume they might not worth the trouble to maintain them in the exchange.
If you dont want to dump the coins move them to another excahnge and keep trading.
857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 27, 2017, 07:19:33 AM
IMHO when you invest in week altcoins with lots of volatility you have to increase most of the usual trading pearls:

never put all your eggs in one basket - diversify.
If its possible dont panic sell. you never know when some guy pumps the coin again just because.
Dont be too greedy. Pull out a profit when you can.

The only trading pearl you dont need to follow is the study readig part...because if you do so you dont risk the money in the first place:)
858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to sell bitcoins on an exchange on: April 25, 2017, 07:10:27 PM
Never had sush problem on poloniex or bitfinex. USed liqui and cryptopia as well without the hassle. They ask you for id verification when there is credit card or bank account involved, never been asked where the funds come from.
You can always say the "tipping" in bitcointalk as been great lately:)
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 21, 2017, 09:46:10 PM
Thx Globb0... I should clarify I guess, I'm not a "trader" really only looking to put $ into crypto long-term for "Buy & HODL" strategy basically...

Also I don't really like too many of the so-called 'appcoins' except for really ambitious world-changing type projects like MaidSafe... only really see merit in the pure-currency type coins, to accomplish what Satoshi's overall vision for what BITCOIN is supposed to be (XMR being prime candidate IMHO to be "Bitcoin 2.0" due to actual honest-to-god FUNGIBILITY, for main example).

So, with that said, anyone think Decred as one of the pure currency type projects has a long term shot at something OR it's just another P&D vehicle?

Also are there any other pure currency projects out there I'm missing out on?

I was think about getting in Decred... don´t know exactly why...Smiley IS it overbought at the moment or you guys would believe its a good time to jump in for long term hold?
860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best trading site now? on: April 20, 2017, 08:53:45 PM
I like Bitfinex for margin trading lending, poloniex for daytrade on BTC and other high volume alts  and cryptopia for small ammount shitcoin trade.
