Hi Rw13enlib88, apologies for the slow response. A recent death in my family has things in toils. Only one dev has been active for quite some time, as you know. To be honest, I do not see the other two ever finding the time without compensation, despite previously agreed plans. Without going into detail, this sentiment has been clearly expressed recently to me, Steven. Hi Steven, sorry to read you have a recent lost in your family. how is your roadmap going??
It was off to a good start, but as previously mentioned, snowballing unforeseen events have been a great detriment to the plan. 'Nails in the coffin', if you will, of my colleagues not returning is a big blow also. I know you're the only one working on SLG now, but i think it's time to look for new collaborators what do you think about that? Very little time has been found to devote to this enormous task as of late. It's projected time, made in hopes of it being a team effort mind you, will undoubtedly be missed. I hope to take a hiatus from my other obligations to give it the undivided attention it needs this summer. infrastructure?
While much of this planned expansion relied on CWI which has suffered many issues as of late, every feasible step has been taken to fortify the Sterlingcoin network while maintaining all the existing infrastructure. community building?
I do maintain the tools (slack/IRC, telegram, social) for a community to build. I by no means am suggesting that "completes" anything, but I alone am no community either. Sterlingcoin does also have a maintained presence on facebook and twitter that anyone can contribute to via posts and tweets. focusing on UK is the key, and have you understood that?
Always have understood, yes. While having the only active dev not a resident of the UK does complicate things, Sterlingcoin will always be UK focused. This stresses the need for community, and community in the UK, even more. Clearly UK community is needed. It's for them and it must be done by them too. how is that posible that BRIT has more market cap and community than SLG?

Me refiero más bien al uso como moneda. Está claro que en 2015 y 2016 el Bitcoin creció mucho, y que en 2017 hay y hubo mucha especulación con el bitcoin y con los altcoins, sobre todo en países como Japón, Nigeria y Corea del Sur. Pero no veo una gran diferencia con respecto a 2013-15 en las estadísticas de volumen de trading de Bitstamp, por ejemplo. Y con respecto a la aceptación por parte de los negocios hasta hay algunos que hablan de retrocesos. Para mí se justificó la subida a $1000 o $1300, pero no lo que siguió después, sobre todo por el problema de la escalabilidad que está sin resolver aún. Entramos en la discusión de si bitcoin es o será utilizado como moneda o mas bien como reserva de valor donde guardar tus ahorros y moverlo cuando los necesites (no para uso diario) Pero, esta claro que a la gente le atrae la subida de precios rapido, de hecho asi ha sucedido anteriormente. 2014-2015-2016 fue una acumulación por parte de los que ya estabamos en el mundillo desde 2013, mientras que en 2017 ha empezado a llegar gente nueva (o al menos eso creo yo, tampoco tengo datos internos de exchanges para poder confirmarlo) Lo que esta claro, es que una vez que se llega al mundo de las cryptos en general y a bitcoin en particular, poca gente abandona el barco. Es decir, el numero de usuarios o al menos de inversores a largo plazo, crece. Hablar de si esta justificado o no es bastante impreciso porque presupone que el precio va relacionado a la evolución tecnologica, cuando en realidad va relacionado con la cantidad de dinero que entra en el sector (hasta cierto punto relacionado con la cantidad de gente que entra en el sector). El precio refleja la entrada/salida de dinero por lo que es lo que es. Ni justo ni injusto, es un reflejo de los flujos monetarios. |

Reitero lo que ya comente en su día... creía sinceramente que esta moneda no llegaría a nada y, si mine unas pocas en sus inicios fue solamente porque me aburría y me hacia gracia lo de recuperar la rubia  , sin embargo me gusta el tener que "tragarme mis palabras" y ver que os lo estáis tomando en serio y que estáis haciendo un buen trabajo para reflotar la moneda e, incluso, impulsarla mucho mas... En resumen solo me queda daros la enhorabuena y a dar caña como lo estáis haciendo de un tiempo a esta parte. El admitir q te has equivocado y desear lo mejor para el proyecto es algo q te honra y habla muy bien de ti. En mi opinión, hay mucha probabilidad que el Bitcoin baje en los próximos días/semanas. Probablemente "probaremos" nuevamente los 1850 USD en Bitstamp. El pronóstico parte de los siguientes supuestos: - que fundamentalmente no mucho ha cambiado respecto a 2016, y por ende los $2000+ son una burbuja - sin embargo, que todavía hay optimismo porque podría darse la activación de Segwit, lo cual abriría, por fin, el camino hacia un crecimiento de la capacidad de la cadena de bloques. En este caso, los $2000+ o hasta los $3000+ se podrían justificar. Ahora por un lado, tuvimos buenas noticias con respecto a Segwit en los últimos días ya que el "acuerdo" o "compromiso" de Segwit2x goza de alta aceptación entre los mineros. Por el otro lado ya aparecen nuevos nubarrones: Craig Wright parece que quiere bloquear Segwit2x comprando el 20% del hashrate - si lo logra, Segwit2x se cae porque necesita el 80% de aprobación. Y aún no hay apoyo para Segwit2x por parte de los desarrolladores de Core. Por tal razón, veo cada vez más incertidumbre en el mercado, y no pocos creen que un "split" de la cadena de bloques pueda ser inevitable. En esta situación, el próximo gran dump podría llevarnos rápidamente a los $2000 y luego a los $1850. Si esta marca cae, creo que vamos rápidamente hacia los $1500.
