Could someone explain to me why have a decentralized netflix? what are the benefits over netflix? I don't get it.
EXCELLENT QUESTION.  For example if you want to make a serial or even have one but you don't want to pay millions for a TV channel or netflix to run/host your content, if you want 90%+ of your serials/movie revenue instead of the network just taking 50% or more. Probably a bad example but for example camgirls, lots of girls do that for money, but they only get 10-20% of the money, the rest goes to the site owners who host them. Similar thing with TV media entertainment/news. So what your saying is that there's a benefit for film producers, they will be able to gain more profit. What does that do for the end user like me, why would I use it? I like netflix they have a decent line up of films and TV programmes, I also use Kodi with the pulse community build (which is way better than netflix). I am yet to see any benefit as to why I would use this service. Again, someone tell me why would I use this over netflix or Kodi? |

I have some questions, how many amps are currently in existence? And how many will there be?
Will make your life easier, now it is 62,585,264 AMPs and all together it will be 949,291,063 AMPs  And how many will be issued for each ICO and for each year? Trying to work out the dilution. Nearly 1 billion coins is a lot. Most of the 1 Billion will be burnt. Now for example there were 45 Million AMPs to be sold and they will not sell out. So the rest will be burnt. I think the team is setting this up to properly fund the project for the next 20 years, unlike most projects that are dead after ICO funds run out. How many ICO's are planned, just the current one? |

Dear all,
As of now, only vTorrent Core is open sourced, and the reason we need to keep our full client (2FA included) closed source is to prevent other dev to clone our work and claim it as their own (or falsely claim as their project being one of the first to implement those features).
When Bittorrent part of vTorrent is reveal in a few release from now, hopefully our project will then be wildly known in crypto-currency space and the decision to open sourced other part of our project will then be considered again.

The problem is that it's closed source, as we all know it's not an ideal situation within the crypto scene. The dev took code from shadow coin, why not pay it forward and release it to the whole crypto community, this project would gain massive and well deserved recognition. Think about the all the other ALT's using this code, that' would give everyone a well needed security boost, aside from that it would give us more respect as well as a bigger marketcap, just look at all the good things like Dash or Shadow have released under the open source umbrella. Just something to think about Dev. not really, it would have taken years to build that app. It deserves a bounty to open source it. It was built pre-Vtorrent anyway. I don't see why the app dev can't get paid to install it for other projects. there are plenty of similar deals with people who make miners. I was under the assumption that the dev/s on this project built it. If VTR devs didn't build it then why are you pushing it for VTR? |

I'm still holding and also have a large wallet on a broken laptop hoping one day it will be worth having fixed Hi you may remember i posted this a while back id like some info please ! If the laptop is broken and on the very first VTR wallet will i be fine just leaving it broken for now if the dev is going to fork or should i get the coins onto a new wallet I'm not a geek I'm an investor  I mined the coins at the start i think its around 200k and have never really touched them so not exactly pocket change now and definitely won't be soon, but don't worry guys I'm not dumping as there is definately something going on here and always has been, this will be a top 10 !
