Joshua v.s Pulev: Crowd of 1,000 in Play For Heavyweight Clash.

Quote
A crowd of 1,000 is set attend Anthony Joshua’s world heavyweight title defence against Kubrat Pulev on December 12.

The UK Government announced plans to allow spectators to return to sporting events on Monday when the present England lockdown ends on December 2.

While outdoor events will be allowed up to 4,000 spectators, indoor events will be allowed to admit 1,000 paying spectators.

So this is good news for boxing fans in UK as they are allowed to watch the match live because the government has allowed spectators, capped at 1000 paying boxing fans.

However, @1.09 odds for Joshua, not worth on ML.

Good news for anyone who's rich enough to be able to afford one of the one thousand tickets. They'll already be ridiculously expensive given the nature of the limited capacity of the fight, but the resale value will be insane which is probably where they'll make most of their money. Tickets that cost £1000 will probably go for ten times the amount. Well, that's if they even do allow spectators. The UK government just announced that even though lockdown will end on Dec 2nd very harsh restrictions are still going to be in place with three different tiers based on severity of cases so it's probably still going to be a lockdown in all but name. I bet they'll impose harsh restrictions on the North whilst letting the South go relatively free as well much like they did last time. Funny how thew virus effects people in the North far more severely whilst the politicians in London don't seem to get it as bad so they're free to live their lives and go about their business as they please.

Did you guys see that?  It's getting ridiculous.  VAR should just be removed from the sport competely.  The players celebrated the goal, the fans celebrated the goal then the ref decides to remove the goal?  It's destroying the game.  IMHO.

Wait til the fans come back...

What goal and what fans?

The City game.  Laporte made a goal but the pass before it was declared hand ball.  The players celebrated the goal on the pitch, the fans for sure celebrated it at home as I did, then VAR says it's not a goal.. a couple of minutes later, mind you.

If everything comes back to normal with stadiums full and this shit keeps on happening, expect a riot esp in really important matches.

Edit:  They're trying to do it again rn..  Looking if somebody is a millimeter offside.  Lawl.  So ridiculous.  I think VAR should only be used for cards in the box, to decide if it's a penalty.  IMHO.

There's that many disallowed goals it's hard to keep up. Spurs had one as well in that game. The handball was another one of those close ones. By the new - silly - rules it might have not even been a handball either as to me it looked like it hit the sleeve of his shirt which would have made it ok. It is annoying when they go back to look for something in the build up to disallow it. How far are they allowed to go back? It should be called out immediately not play on, wait to see if they score, then rule out the goal. It's stupid. I mean, how long does it have to be before the time has elapsed to cancel something? I'm always reminded of the Portugal game where a penalty was give, then taken back and a penalty given at the opposite end which was the incorrect decision anyway. Insanity.

^  We could say the same with Everton's defense.  They're making Fulham look like LFC.  Lol.  This match should be 3 - 3 and it wouldn't be surprising if it comes to that and Fulham sneaks in another goal and win it imo.

Edit:  They're giving Fulham so much space.

Edit:  Pressing a little bit better now.  But still giving away the ball.

Shame they didn't get the equaliser as I had a draw on that game.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 20, 2020, 10:59:16 AM
with all the news regarding Covid, I would say that draw is the best option for Liverpool and Leicester match, although goals can be expected, it is not that if someone is missing from Liverpool that they will play with some youngsters, they have good and deep team subs, to cover situations like this
would not call the same for Leicester, and if Kasper is out (did not saw confirmation for this), that could have much more influence on their game, than Salah on LFC

from the others, Tottenham seems to be a team to watch, even for the title, Murinho knows how to play long seasons with 1:0 wins, and they are pretty tough contender for the title, especially if others lose some points in this early stage, as City already did
that is a match of the week for me, and I think that City is far from win tomorrow

There doesn't seem to be any update on whether Kasper's playing or not yet but he's said it looked worse than it was. Coaches/the FA can be worried about players playign with potential head injuries though and he might be forced to sit it out even though he's ok. If he's not playing I will probably go for the Liverpool win but will depend on the line-ups. I'm liking the draw on this though along with the City/Spurs fixture. I think Spurs can easily win their match too even though City are the bookies strong favourite, but it's one of those where I can't split so the draw is looking the best option. I could see a lot of goals in both games so 2-2 could be an option. I'll be watching them both either way along with the Leeds/Arsenal game.

Kasper Schmeichel’s heavy blow to the head "looked a lot worse than it was", the Leicester City goalkeeper has said.

Schmeichel was substituted at half-time in Denmark’s 2-1 victory over Iceland on Sunday after taking a whack to the face from the thigh of winger Albert Gudmundsson.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 20, 2020, 10:52:16 AM
Base on the previous two team's head-to-head history, the result is quite equal for both.

Previous H2H records are nothing when it comes to comparing. Right now both team performances are different. Tottenham attack seems to be performing very good with Son and Kane linking up very nicely for couple of matches now since the season start. City's defense has always been a concern (it has been that way every season) but right now things seems to be kinda worst as City seems to be struggling really right now.

Spurs have good chance to win this if Man City are gonna be like the same they have been in previous matches.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to previous head to heads to be honest. Teams/squads vastly differ from year to year so previous results doesn't guarantee future results, not to mention we're in a weird and unique year with covid and no fans etc so anything can happen. City are the strong favourites but I'll probably go for a draw on this game with both teams to score. For anyone who have a Skybet account they have a really good offer on right now: Put any bet on the Spurs/City game and get a free £5 bet to use on anything:

I have also included the prediction for the scores in the superbru 1-3 Chelsea, 0-2 Everton, and 2-1 Tottenham (BTtS). Indeed, for the Tottenham - City match is very unpredictable but I believe, maybe this season is Mou's revival season or just a lucky start. Interesting to watch!

i think newcastle will not be able to score at least 1 goal in that game against chelsea, and i think chelsea can score 2 goals at most.

for the everton game I think Fulham can score at least 1 goal

for the City game, I think it will be very difficult to predict, the clty Is inconsistent like Tottenham

Apart from their last game Newcastle have scored at least one goal in their last six games. I think Chelsea will win but I think they can concede as well, but I think it will be a bit closer and will probably go for 2-1 to Chelski.

@hilarious
Agreed, I’m not a fan of international football at the best of times but this year especially it should have all been scrapped except possibly the qualifiers for the Euro’s.
Under no circumstance should the Nations League & friendlies be taking place when we are in a global pandemic.
Yes I would need to agree with you on this one.
My country fails to understand this. There was a France vs Ukraine match a while ago which I described in this thread, with Ukraine not standing a chance because of multiple positive COVID tests of the players. And yet just this week Switzerland cancelled a match with Ukraine because a few days before the match 8 players had positive COVID-19 tests. I'm glad that Switzerland took it seriously because the Ukrainian COVID-19 situation is horrible, and yet the head coach of our national team was basically outraged by this decision since "enough players had negative tests".

Every country seems to be doing their own thing. I saw some of the international games had fans there in the stadiums whilst there's zero in the UK and many other places.

Finally another prediction week on pool from tomorrow
The covid situation is a pain in the ass... having that variable on top of all mertics and stats can easily change my prediction for the pair
For example, Liverpool is playing against Leicester without 9 players, at the moment
And their performance is not as I expected will be on the start of the season... Idk, a possible underdog to catch on Saturday here

I'll probably go for the draw. Might put my both teams to score in both halves with 2 corners each half and 2 cards each bet on.

Skybet have another good offer on. Put any bet on the Spurs/City game and get a free £5 bet to use on anything:

Minimum bet is o 0.05p. Think I've had at least 5 of these free £5 bets this season.

Seems like it is hard for me to understand one thing.
Why should I pm a Mod to show him a proof that those accounts are obtained legal ?
Isn't everywhere: innocent until proven guilty ?
I believe if someone think they are illegal/stolen/hacked, they should provide valid proof based statement, and if I see one, I will show a MOD and MOD only how the were obtained because I am not interested to post my source public.
Also, I already share one of the method how they are obtained which is 1000% legal, not stolen and any kind of shady activity.

Well, this isn't a court of law but people have posted reasons why they're likely not legit. If someone comes here and offers guaranteed 1000% interest on a loan or investment we're going to call them out on it and assume they're a scammer even though we can't prove that they're not going to pay you 1000% interest, but they probably wont. But Ok, so let's say you're accused of a crime and are taken to court for selling illegally obtained accounts. The court asks you how did you acquire them. And you say....Huh You would have to prove to the court that you obtained them legitimately and that's what were asking you to do. You should be able to do this if they are in fact legit but if you can't then the burden of proof is on you but we will have to assume that they are almost certainly not obtained through legitimate means, which, let's be honest, they probably aren't, and that's what were going to assume until proven otherwise.

Next round starts on Tuesday so don't forget to make your picks. There's a lot of suspensions and injuries and will probably be a few more before the next round with the Premier League games this weekend: https://www.sportsgambler.com/football/injuries-suspensions/uefa-champions-league/

They're isn't really many games I'm that excited about this round. PSG v RB Leipzig on Tuesday and Inter v Real on Wednesday maybe but I wouldn't be bothered if I missed them. Much better match-ups in the December rounds: Man United v PSG, ATL V Bayern etc.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 19, 2020, 10:24:34 AM
I wonder whether Liverpool will be able to be champions 2 times in a row. There are really tough opponents. Especially Bayern Munich are playing wonderful. I hope we can see the final match to be between Bayern Munich and Liverpool. It would definitely be enjoyable to watch.

Wat? Premier League champions 2x in a row maybe, but impossible for back to back CL wins seeing as Bayern won it last year and my money is on them again. Liverpool have a lot of injuries right now.

I don't think they can pull it off without Mohamed Salah, he has Covid and is quarantined in Egypt so he can't travel anywhere for matches. He'll probably be back this Thursday according to the news but Liverpool is lucky that it happened during the international break and not before critical UEFA matches.

The question will be whether Covid will affect the medium and long-term performance possibility. Since Ronaldo fell victim to Covid, he has not performed as well as before. There are many Covid patients who still complain of breathing problems and neurological problems even after months. Why should it be any different with professional players. For some professionals who were infected with Covid, it could even mean the end of their careers. In my opinion, this is given far too little attention in discussions.

You have a point, according to this August study, 55% of all recovered Covid patients have symptoms of fatigue and dizziness and it has must have hit it's fair share of professional players as normal people.

It could force a few older players into retirement and the transfer value of younger players will go down as they perform worse in future games. It's a net loss to all clubs, as clubs which don't win games much have their market value lowered.

Next question is how long these effects last, whether for a few months or several.

I wouldn't pay that much attention to these 'studies'. Fatigue is normal after things like a cold of the flu but I'm sure 'Covid fatigue' will become the new I'm too ill to work excuse so people can enjoy early retirement and a lifetime of benefits. I'm sure professional athletes being paid millions will be seldom effected  Grin. In the cases of people like Ronaldo and Salah they're asymptomatic and have only tested positive for the virus whilst having no problems or symptoms whatsoever. This will be the case for most people I think, or those tests they're giving people are issuing false positives which is what Ronaldo claimed I believe.

Is it really difficult would it be to implement a voting system for posts
well We have to come together and then make such a system that It always helps people
even with less knowledge and try to reduce the frauds to a minimum leve..
I hope you all think so..
If no the make your decision...

What do you mean? Something like a +1 or 'like' button on user's posts? We have the merit system at the top right of everyone's posts but you need to receive merit before you can dish it out yourself or become a merit source. We also have the ability to create polls if you want to take a vote on something but I don't think that's what you mean.

What do you mean by auto-deleted threads? 99% of people who post malware will almost certainly be banned and their threads removed. If a user isn't it's likely just an oversight.

Its absolutely impossible to have more than 1 bet365 account in 1 name.

It's probably not impossible. Might be against their terms and maybe they have measures in place to try prevent it but I'm sure there are people with multiple accounts there.

Bitcointalk on the other hand is more privacy centered and I would rather not link my personal profile to my online identity on the forum.
...
Meeting "random" members who just wish to hang out and who I do not know beyond their pseudo username bears some level of risk as you're trusting them with that information.
That is why I suggested creating an alt account if you want to meet someone so the other person doesn't know who you are on Bitcointalk if you aren't comfortable with that.

That's one thing I forgot to mention as well about the safety aspects of meeting up with a newbie. They could be the alt of someone you don't like that much or even someone who has a grudge with you. That could actually be very dangerous especially when in most cases you don't know what people look like here so that could be exploited very easily. I have nothing against people if they want to meet up with randomers or users of any rank but for multiple reasons I think it's better keeping meet-ups private or with users who you and friendly or familiar with. I really wouldn't advise people meet lower ranked members one on one. Groups are always best and meetings in public places. You can always choose to meet people you get along with from those at a later date.
The other person wouldn't know who you are (since you are using an alt) so they can't have a grudge on you. It works the other way around if they use an alt as well. If I have a grudge on hilariousetc, I can't have a grudge on skittlesBoy who is looking to meet someone in the Denver area on Friday to talk Bitcoin.

You guys seem to forget one thing. I am not suggesting this be the standard when meeting people. My initial reply was about a concern someone posted who didn't want his online identity to be tied with this real identity, but he still wants to meet people face to face. One way to circumvent that is using an alt not tied to your original account.

If I want to meet a specific user or become friends with that user, of course none of this bullshit I posted applies. I would contact that person and see if we can get together.

But again, who wants to meet with a random newb? Maybe I'm out of the loop and this happens all the time but would you meet a random person off the internet you've never seen or interacted with before? Depending on what sort of meet up it was I think you'd be able to work out who some users were even if they were 'anonymous'. CryptocurencyKing mentioned above about the Watford FC gathering and I bet if I showed up to that people would be able to figure out who I was on here unless I was being purposely obtuse.

Bitcointalk on the other hand is more privacy centered and I would rather not link my personal profile to my online identity on the forum.

But the forum is against creating alt accounts, everything is getting complicated all day here.

You can have as many accounts as you want here. It's only against the rules if it's to ban evade, but that is rarely enforced.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 18, 2020, 01:50:41 PM
Anybody else think it's gonna be another 'Leicester moment' again at the EPL this season?  I just looked at the table and if there's a season for either Mou or Rodgers to win the EPL trophy with their respective clubs, it's this one surely.

Spurs is at 9.89 and LCFC at 25.84.

My money wouldn't be on Leicester as I'm sure they'll run out of steam at some point and even though they're sitting in first place right now I don't think they've played exceptional and did lose their first two games to West Ham and Villa, but at the same time them eventually winning it wouldn't surprise me either. I can easily see a team outside the big 3 or 4 winning it this season though. Spurs could be in with a shot especially if Bale starts performing. I think they've got just as much chance as City or Liverpool this year, especially considering all the injuries the latter has now, but it's still far too early to say and this year is surely an anomaly with covid and no fans etc so who knows what could happen. I'd like to see a different team outside of the usual suspects though. It's a shame Villa and Leeds bottled it a bit recently as seeing them do well would have been nice especially newly promoted Leeds who I had to be a relegation favourite (and still might be if they don't turn things around). Some big games this week like Spurs and City, Leicester/Liverpool so that could shake up the table a bit and it will be interesting to see where teams sit after it.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 18, 2020, 01:07:20 PM
I wonder what the effect on the well-being of both fighters will be if the whole drama does escalate to a new level and end up in court. Rather than have a long drawn out legal battle via lawyers it would be far better for them to avoid it and have a fight in the ring instead.

Whichever legal firm represents them in court will end up getting a huge pay day and they might be the only real winners of any dispute.

I very much doubt it will be a long drawn out legal battle. The arbitration process will likely either state the contract is valid or null and the fighters will accept that and I believe the decision is to be expected this month. Maybe either party could appeal the decision but if it's in favour of Wilder with the rematch then Fury will likely just accept it. He might make out like he doesn't really want to rematch Wilder but whether that's true or not it's likely going to be his biggest payday outside of the AJ fights so it's win-win for him. Maybe if Wilder loses the appeal he will take it further and appeal that as he won't want to lose the opportunity to lose his belts without a fight but my guess is he'll just move on.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 18, 2020, 11:19:38 AM
as if I sensed that Liverpool might have trouble with team selecting. I'm not sure how much time players have to pause after a negative test?
but not only happen to them.

I think about it's 14 days in the UK, or that's how long you have to quarantine for. Maybe it's different for sports but two weeks seems a safe bet. However, if you keep testing positive like Ronaldo did that will delay things again and again.

I am not sure about this 14 days, that could quarantine when you are positive, but I do not get why do you need quarantine after tested negative (when you were positive before that)
as far as I know, there is a quarantine when you are a contact, and you are in quarantine before tested positive or negative, but when you were positive, I think that you can go out as far as you test negative (it was a case with Ronaldo, he tested negative and played first match after that) - when you test negative after you had Covid-19, you are not threat, because you do not have it at that moment (and probably have some immunity, we do not know how long that immunity will last, but for sure it is strongest after testing negative for the first time)

It's just a precautionary measure. The disease doesn't magically leave your body one day to the next and you have to quarantine for x amount of days even after a negative test because the disease has a an incubatory period. You could mix with someone who has it on Monday, get a test Tuesday and it comes back negative on Wednesday and by Friday you start showing symptoms and you have another test and it comes back as positive. In that time you could have unknowingly infected dozens of people and they go on to do the same.

This shouldn't be done automatically for the reasons mprep has already stated.

Yea, makes sense and for the most part I agree, but I probably should have clarified my OP to narrow it down to the marketplace forums where other than scamming and spamming there usually isn't a lot to be lost when one of the  OP's get banned and their scam or spam threads remain.  I do understand they don't directly get banned for scamming.

Just report those threads and they will likely be locked. If a user is banned and they're using sock puppets to keep their business going it's usually pretty clear ban evasion as well. They'll likely just create a new thread do do business anyway but just keep reporting them.

A banned users' trust feedback and default trust should also be removed, but isn't.  Funny that eh?

If you were banned that means all your feedback should be wiped as well? On second thought this is actually a great idea  Roll Eyes.

If wilder can do something to avoid being KO again by Fury then this will be a good fight knowing that they are both good fighters but I am hesitant on  whom to favor in this upcoming match as I am pretty sure that Wilder will make sure to prepare well to avoid losing again to Fury.

People seem to be forgetting Wilder was the first person to get a KO in the first fight. There's no reason why he couldn't do that again but both fighters will likely learn from their mistakes.

In his latest round of excuses:

Deontay Wilder Claims Fury’s Fingernails Led To Ear Bleeding

In the latest leg of an unexpected PR blitz, Wilder doubled down on all the reasons – each one more fanciful than the next – on why he lost to Tyson fury in their ballyhooed rematch Last February, including the much-lampooned theory that Fury wore doctored gloves in that fight. The proof? According to Wilder, he has fingernail marks inside his ear.

“I haven’t yet heard valid proof of how gloves flap all the way back, why your hands were in the middle of the glove, why did my ear have scratches deep inside my ear? Because of your (Fury’s) nails,” Wilder (42-1-1, 41KOs) told Brian Custer on The Last Stand PodCast. “It’s so many different facts and proof that we have. But it just shows the greatness of it."

https://www.boxingscene.com/deontay-wilder-claims-furys-fingernails-led-ear-bleeding--153336

Lol, aptly called the  “Glove Gate” conspiracy theory.  Grin

We really don't know what's going on with Wilder, now he blames Fury's nail for the scratch inside his ear. It's getting weirder by the day. I would suggest that people around Wilder advise him not to talk to the public and make another bold claim without proofs. Just hurting his legacy.

Wilder just needs to shut up and stop being so pathetic with all these bs excuses. How can fingernails perforate a boxing glove far enough to go down someones ear canal? People get cut in boxing but there's no way it could have been due to Tyson's fingernails unless his gloves were damaged and I've seen no evidence of that.

If Kubrat Pulev, who is also handled by Arum, beats Anthony Joshua on Dec. 12, then Fury will face Deontay Wilder a third time probably in late February. If Joshua defeats Pulev, then Fury will face Joshua in an all-England showdown around the same time.

When asked about a potential next opponent, the 'Bronze Bomber' told Brian Custer's Last Stand Podcast: "Realistically, Dillian Whyte would be on the list, Andy Ruiz Jr would be one on the list, Robert Helenius, Joseph Parker.

"Oleksandr Usyk, I would love to fight him because he called me out. There's a lot of guys on the list. When that phone rings just accept the opportunity."

So I have read the main complaint against Craig Wreight from this lawsuit/gov website. Keep in mind I am dutch but ok used some translation a few times for some difficult words.

So far what I can make up/understand from this document is that Craig reached out to Dad of Dave Kleiman. Dave is supposedly also co-inventor of bitcoin and there would be a third person.
Dad is too old and tech-dumb to understand all of it lol. So Dave's brother IRA steps and believes Craig story. Now IRA believes Craig and believes Dave had lots of Bitcoins.
One does not transfer bitcoins just like that. Dave and Craig run a mining company called W&K according to this document probably from Craigh. So basically all information seems to be coming from Craig.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to analyse Craig's Bullshit. He probably got himself into trouble by making up some utter bullshit including a dead man thinking that because they were dead they could never verify anything and he could use that to his advantage, but he didn't think that his family members would try to get their hands on this likely imaginary fortune.

10. However here lies the problem in this court case. According to IRA craig is only one in possession of private keys, so only Craig can sign any messages.

Craig doesn't have access to anything. He just lies to cover up lies to cove up more lies. If he wanted people to know he was satoshi he could do so very easily. He can't provide proof because he isn't satoshi so he just has to rely on fraud and misdirection to try convince whoever he can in the process.

Does it matter who Satoshi Nakamoto is or was, or where he is...?

It matters when someone is fraudulently trying to claim he is, especially when he's doing this for his own personal gain and trying to sully the name of the real bitcoin in the process.

as if I sensed that Liverpool might have trouble with team selecting.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have received a positive test result

Stay at home and begin to self-isolate for 10 days from when your symptoms start. Arrange to have a test for COVID-19 if you have not already had one. The result of the test will determine how long you must stay at home and self-isolate.

Stay at home while you are waiting for a home test kit or a test site appointment.

A positive test result means you must complete a 10-day isolation period.

If your test is negative, you can stop self-isolating as long as you are well.

If you do not have symptoms but have tested positive for COVID-19, stay at home and self-isolate for 10 days from the day the test was taken. If you develop symptoms after your test, restart your 10-day isolation period from the day the symptoms start.

Kasper Schmeichel, he also suffered an injury and is not sure he will be fit for next Liverpool vs. Leicester match. It will be the hard and long season to all teams.

They really should pause or delay the Nations League as far too many people are going to be out with injuries and positive covid tests. Losing Schmeichel would be devastating to Leicester. He's one of the best keepers in the league in my opinion. They can play the nation games at the end of the season.

Just came here to say the same. How am I meant to find out the price of bitcoin now?  Huh

In the middle of the bull run? Probably got rekt with too many requests due to BTC mooning. A similar error happened a few days ago, so it's probably temporary.

Yeah, I'm guessing they're just receiving a shit load of traffic right now as people check the site constantly and something fucked up.
