861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: I do not plan to leave Ethereum in the foreseeable future on: October 10, 2018, 10:29:24 PM
Why would he leave? Ethereum and Buterin are worthwhile together. All he has to do is trust the community and develop Ethereum.
He got personal problem aswell, thinking that vitalik will always stick to ethereum is just so wrong on many level also, why people thinking that ethereum will be dead just because vitalik is leaving meanwhile ethereum from the beginning was meant to be decentralized meaning no one owns it but the community.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: October 10, 2018, 10:26:48 PM
I have never heard about the tools that would help to avoid fraudulent ICO.But there are already platforms that are ready to guarantee all investors the safety of their funds in case of not fulfilling the conditions of the team that conducts the ICO.This platform is called W12.Maybe with the help of such platforms there will be more investors.Bounty participants to more carefully select projects they are promoting. It is better to spend 1 day searching for a good bounty than to take part in 10 useless bounties.Recently, everyone pays attention to quality and not quantity.
While the idea of such a project is not bad at the same time that is not going to solve at all the problem with scam icos, after all why a scammer is going to try to become part of that platform when most icos do not do that, besides in this market people are not really friendly towards centralization, so even if that were to solve the problem many people are not going to like the idea of just one company having all the control over the icos because that can lead to corruption.
Even most of the people when seeing a team of developers having real control over market supply is already a threat
a centralized company in a world where people always talk about decentralized is just sounds like a bootleg. better stay away.

864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: October 04, 2018, 02:47:58 PM
Not quite so, some of the air-free projects are very attractive and quite successful! It is important that the developer is passionate about their product! grow or scam!
Well, majority of freebies are just have a close border to scam, it's clear from the start that those freebies are already aiming different goal other than a direct profit.
It can be either your data or anything else more important than the money itself, if it's project, I will call it making ecosystem.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your top picks on IDEX on: October 03, 2018, 04:28:24 AM
I have recently purchased SkyChain token (SKCH) - team will reaslese beta within upcoming weeks but price has dropped hard and dont change now for few weeks! Thats a bottom and definitely good point to enter the posiition!
Would also like to recommend to take a look at Ubex! They are finishing their ICO now but tokens are already available on exchnages
Have a SkyChain in the portfolion but Im not impressed by its result. Team is working but there is lack of marketing. Will see how will it go with the beta realese Huh Roll Eyes
don't expect too much with a bad market as all prices will be affected with the fall of ETH not unless the team will manage to pump the price but this will only give temporary price and then back again to bottom. Also, token form the bounty will dumps even if the price is not good.
The team has no responsibility to pump the price of coin but they have responsibility to create massive advertisement to promoting their product. remember that's the key before you can try to get a big demands through your advertisement. if you have a fully working product and that's just the matter of time until there will be a pump that will be happened with you dude.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: October 03, 2018, 01:00:19 AM
I could imagine, that banks will have serious problems in the future, cryptocurrencies could truly make them useless. But there is a very very long road until than.
There will be no serious problem to the bankers, crypto is about to replace the traditional economic system with modern ecosystem. as far as i know about the fact that crypto doesn't have any regulator support and that could be the main reason why crypto can't overcome the bank system.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: October 03, 2018, 12:15:17 AM
This wrong, no matter how old a coin is as long as there are investors in the coin and people willing to put their money in it then they can make you money. It is just a matter of time just like other coins and with old coins you can be more sure that they are less likely to die out when you are holding the coins for the long term
The guarantee of safe investment in both old and new coins is vice versa because some old coin are not good for long term investment same as some new coin either and if a coin still have some investors who still put money in it doesn't mean it will yield a good return.
Not all old coins remain competitive after a long period of development, and most of them are in a downturn or even disappear. I don't think it's a good thing to hold it for a long time.

And that just like namecoin, it's even older than litecoin but it doesn't have any good development progress, the daily trade volume still remain the same.
that depends on how the vision of the project itself to create a product. remember this not all of oldcoins are so profitable in these days.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: October 03, 2018, 12:04:50 AM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

I am not trust any ico rating websites because i know 95 percentage of these websites working for money. and you can not be trust these websites for investing money. Please dont do that.
Everybody need to investigate icos before investing.
There's only one of them that working based on the community's choice. remember about the fact that we have an article that has proven the majority of ico rating sites are manipulating their rating. I can try to take a conclusion based on that article if there were more than 99% of icorating site that manipulating the result of rating in any ico.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN PRIVATE ( BTCP ) PREDICTIONS (USD 20,000) on: September 28, 2018, 02:07:14 PM
Hi,

I think that BTCP could surpass USD 20,000 QUICKER than BTC. It has the same supply cap, its block size is bigger and addresses are private. Also, people is more aware of crypto currencies nowadays. Therefore, I expect BTCP to do the same price movement as BTC, but a lot quicker. What do you think?
Whatever you said about the price of bitcoin private in the future but that just like you are shilling for bitcoin private. This time it's worth only $2 and does it make sense to say the bitcoin price could easily go to the arond $20k rate? This just another big joke from the BTCP fan or shillers.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether is about to rally strongly says Wall Street’s Tom Lee on: September 28, 2018, 02:05:36 PM
I hope Tom Lee predictions don't miss and can happen soon.

“panic selling” by ICO teams.
I was so confused to see the developers, why did they panic sell? Ridiculous, even though they themselves use the ethereum platform, that means they believe.

I don't know why people are only concerned about the sellers but the buyers are also disappearing, if people can buy Ether at $1000 why are then not willing to buy it when is now $200. What do people expect in a competitive market. I think it would be difficult to see Ether again at $500
The answer is quite simple because they have been wasting a lot of their money to buy ethereum when it was around $1k that doesn't make sense to put more money when you are in the big lost due to the bearish trend of the cryptocurrency itself. it will be so difficult consider about the bitcoin is so stable right now because it was following bitcoin,
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: September 27, 2018, 09:48:03 PM
Why people generally spend their time on useless airdrops. It's a direct way to nowhere. The loss of time and energy that you will not bring any benefit.
people do that because they are hoping to get free money out of thin air, it is effective in the past but for now, not really because all these airdrop are always being misused for a bad deed like luring people into buying useless coin which is a tool for speculation and that definitely is bad
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ETH Mobile App Wallet for iOS/Android? on: September 27, 2018, 09:45:05 PM
I used coins.ph wallet. It is secured, fast and reliable which do not only supports eth but also btc (of course), xrp and bch. You can also buy prepaid loads and pay bills throug this. I'm just not sure whether this can possibly be used by people outside the Philippines, may I know which country you came from?
it is always better to give recommendation to wallet that is not an exchanger wallet, coins.ph is definitely an exchanger and that is not good to be considered from security aspect. maybe jaxx, imtoken and other similar is fine but coins.ph is not
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many stablecoins? on: September 26, 2018, 07:49:20 AM
For the means of wealth saving ofcourse, what other think do you expect? every stable coin I know always showing the transparency and proof that they owned the money to backup the stablecoin like Tether
If the company is already verified like that, a really small chance that the coin will become scam since there's backup money and is equal to the total supply.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: September 26, 2018, 07:44:22 AM
I think they are going to banned crypto because most of the government these days, always relies on the tax for every transactions. Not like cryptocurrency, its feature like a digital remitances, it goes directly to its recipient without going first to government for prior tax. That is what I think.
Cryptocurrency can be taxed too only if the government competent or strong enough to do so. It's like in japan where they even got additional income from taxing cryptocurrency transaction, if the government are really smart, they can see that cryptocoin could actually bring them
additional country income.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 21, 2018, 10:18:25 PM
ETH looks much more interesting and promising than ripple. I think the ripple growth was artificial. It seems to me that soon this coin will fall sharply.
It is so hard to distinguish artificial pump or not but people got hyped as well so it doesn't matter.
But people say "easy come easy go" and that is already started by seeing xrp back to number 3 again. Just let's see what will happen.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum regains its spot on: September 21, 2018, 10:15:11 PM
Early today ethereum was displaced by xrp ripple in the number to spot with market cap of $23.21b well I think this cause surprise in the cryptocurrency world but at the moment ethereum is back at number to two spot with a market cap of $25.26b

I don't care about how much thee market cap of these two crypto are. What I care about is how we could help improve the performance of each cryptocurrency. Let us not spread FUDs to the public about how eth drop where in fact, it's only natural for a volatile investment.
But most of people care, there's no way an individual could improve the performance of crypto other than giving chunk of hash power so that the crypto could get faster, basically that takes so much resource to begin with so I don't recommend
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: September 21, 2018, 03:48:18 PM
for me
so they do not want to crypto currency because they know it's a scam. so it is prohibited for some countries because people do not care they are victimized by the people so the government staff prohibits the crypto currency.
if from your opinion you think that cryptocurrency is a scam then why are you even here? You might as well get out of here with that bs opinion as well as that Korean government. Don't you know that you looks ridiculous?
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: September 21, 2018, 03:45:47 PM
Are you picky with ICOs?
Yes and you should pick an ICO that has interactive staff.now adays more scam ICO's are existing. So it is better to be picky!
Interactive from which aspects? You need to be more specific because otherwise it will drive people to wrong meaning.
However most of the ico that ended up being successful is those that actually have finished product
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: September 20, 2018, 10:54:15 PM
Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
On some alts especially those that are dependent with Bitcoin, would negatively affected by the sudden downfall on the price of Bitcoin. The majority of the market cryptos are on downtrend because there are cryptos which are dependent with one another and is something like domino effect. But what we should look forward with is the probability of the market to recover. For now, be patient with the market behavior.

It can not be denied that BTC rates have a huge impact on altcoins in the cryptocurrency market. So if the BTC rate falls, the altcoins will naturally decrease. But the prospect of a big BTC rate will rebind to $ 20,000 as of the end of 2017, and market cap will soon return to the $ 300 billion.
Bitcoin value dropping affecting greatly when it comes to the price of altcoin to usd for all those altcoins and sadly people aoways judge a coin based on its price to dollar so I can see why this value dropping could fundamentally or emotionally to altcoin market
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About how many percent does Cryptocurrency known in your country? on: September 20, 2018, 10:50:54 PM
I don't expect more than 10% since most of people just don't care about what's going on to financial technology nowadays most of them just care about working tirelessly.
However that amount is still quite good considering that bitcoin just here few years ago or a decade
