Hello Burst community and dev! I spoke to your developer a week ago showing my desire to add Burst to C-CEX and at the time we were still testing NXT and making sure to add extra security layers. I have followed and mined personally some Burst .... I added it because I'm a day 1 supporter too ..
-Pride of C-CEX

is a lie, because of

support @ c-cex Support: Need a couple of BURST to test. If ok BURST market opening in 1hr

Looks like Your logic is very special. Just wait for Burst dev - he will clear it out.
Pride did in fact PM me on August 15th telling me that they would be listing Burst when they finished their NXT backend.

I love how we have c cex testing and actively working on NXT integration so one of their employees can get our Burstcoin on their exchange and you guys fud them? What a bunch of slack jawed fucktards or bittrex sock puppets you are. Real fucking cute,  burst dev even confirms they were working on this before half of you even saw this coin, show some fucking respect.

Nice to get your point across, but what's with you guys recently using profanities (especially the newcomers). Everyone has their freedom of choice, just got to respect that and/or just have temperance. Respect and trust is mostly earn, not given or assumed. We can be civil and have constructive arguments, not high school level name calling or sailor talk.

Hey burstcoin, is there any chance of the gpu plot generator being released? What's the roadmap for the project? Are you going to assemble a team to help the project out?

now burst are dumping fast, now you guys happy Grin when investors saw they could buy at the lower price, they won't offer high price, just wait to see bottom of the burst. and will lead more and more miners dump  Grin so happy you are

+1

Everytime I cannot understand why people are so ... don't know the right word..  Lips sealed

They are impatient and have no confidence in the coin. Not a longer term thinker and supporter of the coin.

LOL.  Cryptocoins are not long term investments.  People buy, take profit, and sell.  I am only in this for PROFIT, I couldn't care less what happens to the coins themselves.

Ever hear of DOGECOIN?

So please dump and leave :-P

can this stupid guy have ability to dump? several days before, he bites the dev and who answered to him, setup miner with several days and bites all the time, and image himself can mine coin with 20GB ...let him dump,, but did he have a burst?funny...

He was very irate in the beginning, now he's belittling people that helped him. That's nothing short of maturity issues and not knowing how to be diplomatic about things. Shrewdness is not a shortage, that's for sure.

I started 2 years ago mining Scrypt coins. I mined and sold Doge, I knew from the start is was just a pump and dump. Zero innovation behind that. Sure profits is good portion of cryptos, but people forget that the innovations is the true purpose behind them.

Quote me wrong, but people said that about BTC for a short term profit and see where it's at now. People are kicking themselves for selling BTC for $.20 to $100 in the past. Fortune does favor the bold.

That is kind of sad you take that kind of viewpoint of crypto's that actually are trying to make a difference, but to each his own. I'll respect that.

...  no one trusts nxt  ...........

- this is FUD

It's not... 50% of the altcoin people that know bitcoin from day one still hate it because they didn't had a smooth start and tricked people into believing that the top holders bought them when they where cheap.

NXT distribution was lacking in how they did the distribution. Wasn't very fair of a release in my opinion.

though it has luanched to c-cex, we must push it to those more popular exchange platform, don't let it die on the c-cex, if all the people throw at one platform, it will make it worse and worse,

As the saying goes, "Fortune favors the bold."

Panic selling isn't very bold....lol

I couldn't find the link to the block explorer. Could someone please provide it?

Thanks

Block explorer anyone? What is current total supply and what will it be in 1 month? Why are these things so hard to find?

This is the holy grail question... how fast are we getting to the 2 billion max coins

This is something that needs to be addressed, but assume this will be done eventually. Diff is high, so getting 2 billion will take a while still.

LOL I was expecting a link. For real no block explorer? No one know how the supply works? This is crazy how do we know if this coin is worth 1 sat or 100 sats?

The total current supply is : No. of Blocks*10 000, so we currently are at just over 40 Million Burst

Sorry if this is a noob question, but how did you find out which block we are at without a block explorer?

The wallet via browser or just look at the stats in the miner.

This is a very new Tech and you need to be careful with buying coins this is why the price is so low in the first place.

Anyone know if there are hidden code blocks inside the source code to secure the tech from cloneing ?

Do you mean if the code has a security measure against double spending? If yes, I wouldn't know because my coding skills are at best novice.

what is compression rate?

Protip: Store your plots on BTRFS with LZO compression. Increases amount of plots you can save, and increases your r/w speed. My drive is rated for 150MB/s, and I can do 180 MB/s of /dev/urandom

Any form of compression create some form of overhead, usually. The theory of LZO compression and BTRFS sounds nice, but has this been proven in a real environment? Can't just doing a RAID0 on a GPT volume be even faster?

As far as I can tell you can't directly see the ratio. However you can try and guess based off this info:

 user  ~  burstcoin  pocminer_pool_v1  plots  du -sh
244G    .
 user  ~  burstcoin  pocminer_pool_v1  plots  df -h
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2       932G  338G  592G  37% /
 user  ~  burstcoin  pocminer_pool_v1  plots  sudo btrfs filesystem df /
Data, single: total=511.01GiB, used=336.45GiB
System, DUP: total=8.00MiB, used=80.00KiB
System, single: total=4.00MiB, used=0.00
Metadata, DUP: total=1.50GiB, used=553.58MiB
Metadata, single: total=8.00MiB, used=0.00
unknown, single: total=192.00MiB, used=0.00

Your plot files are most likely broken - or you have lots of overlapping nonces. You cant compress plot files (some scoops excluded) in a way thats fast enough to decompress!

All my plot files are stored on this drive, and I've been able to earn BURST from the pool. And I can decompress at 170 MB/s, limited by drive read speed. The LZO compression only does some basic compression, unlike lzma

Is BTRFS stable now? Supposedly it wasn't before, but I read that it's stable now. Plus it's a Linux filesystem, don't know if the average user would adapt to this well at the moment.

Plus if read and write speeds is really needed, a RAID0 is more simple to deploy and more readily accepted by all OSes with minor issues.

It's not officially stable, however many people have been running it for months with no problems. It is advised (as always) to have a backup of your important data

Personally I like ZFS, scales well in my personal experience. I can do a RAID5, that would have a good balance between storage space and some for of decent parity.

Crazy, anything under 400 is a total steal! But, let the dumpers dump, distribute the coins some.

They'll feel like the people that sold BTC for $0.20 to $100....LMFAO

Plus, volume isn't that high yet on c-cex......

There should be a minimum buy and sell amount on c-cex, at least 1000. Someone is just being funny with the 1 to 3 Burst sell orders.
Yes,that make me laugh too.Lol Grin

Crytpo exchanges definitely don't mirror the stock exchange in doing trade volume...lol

Hello Burst community and dev!  I see talk of "Bittrex" but I want you all to know I didn't just add Burst for the heck of it. I added it because I'm a day 1 supporter too; so happy trading everyone!

-Pride of C-CEX
It's a very valid reason as for me. Good luck

More exchanges, the better the volume and pricing competition, overall good for everyone business-wise.

- not that I'm against C-CEX, but in sake of justice: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739473.40

Yes, thank You, read last post from there. Coins was sent to him.

Did you consider ever of an auto withdrawal of delisted coins to customer's wallets? That would be something new that any exchange hasn't done yet.

Customers have to provide wallet addresses then because it is always changing. We can't just withdraw to last address and somtimes there is no last address. Any way user interaction needed. In this case user can just withdraw himself. We inform all 7 days before delisting and allow some more days after that to withdraw. We delist only coins that does not have any volume during 2 weeks.

It's a raw concept. Probably would have to warn users that the last withdrawal address will be the delisting withdrawal. I'm just trying to put myself in the shoes of the exchanges and customers, it would boost customer confidence in a exchange in my opinion. Which would be good for business on both sides.
