883  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [83 GH/sec] MineCo.in - PPLNS 0% Mining on: November 03, 2011, 12:23:42 AM
I see, I continued minning as well. Stats seem to be working back as normal. The worker status in terms of green for active or red , not fixed yet, but thats just a fyi.

Not needed to mine, just a nice to have
884  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [83 GH/sec] MineCo.in - PPLNS 0% Mining on: October 30, 2011, 10:03:07 PM
Is the pool is currently not reporting stats properly ?
885  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: First Brazilian Bitcoin investment group: 6.97% in 15 days! New Group open! on: October 26, 2011, 01:17:33 AM
Leandro kept his word. I must say, i was not very optimistic based on the dive from 5 to around 2, however I received exactly 6.97% interest on what I invested with him.

So far he has kept every word and has been professional in all his communication

886  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo mining pool with stats / graphs / reliability on: October 16, 2011, 03:00:26 PM
I would be interested. However, I would rather pay when blocks are found.

Or pay a reduced monthly fee, then when a block is found/solved pay an additional fee.

This way for those that dont have significantly less hashing power are able to keep the expense down, considering the probability of finding a block
887  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Bitcoin Server & phoenix/poclbm on: October 16, 2011, 03:42:24 AM
Hi Guys,

So I got a new card, decided to try one at solo mining while the rest work with a pool. However what I noticed that

when pool mining the card gets 350 Mh/s , when I use local bitcond server  i only get 1.7 Mh/s.

Does anyone know why this happens ?

890  Economy / Economics / Re: The SEC is stabilizing bitcoins lol ( humor) on: October 04, 2011, 12:27:05 AM
It is indeed.

It has been varying so much so the stability just strikes me, but its a good thing
891  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 500 BTC available for sale. CA$ 10% / US$ 8% discount. on: October 03, 2011, 11:36:06 PM
Hmm this seems legit. I was scammed before(check my posts), but I just might be willing to to try one last time
892  Economy / Economics / The SEC is stabilizing bitcoins lol ( humor) on: October 03, 2011, 10:47:29 PM
For the past few days there has been little change in the bitcoin prices. Whats your reasoning why this is happening ?
893  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 110 BTC on: August 17, 2011, 11:41:18 PM
To those who are still sending me PMs asking if I have more Bitcoins to sell:

No, sorry, I have been scammed twice already. Pick somebody else. If ever I sell Bitcoins again, I will only sell for cash (not virtual cash, but solid dead tree cash), and I will only deliver the Bitcoins after receiving the cash and verifying its authenticity.

We should be pioneers exploring a new territory, trust each other and act honestly toward each other. Too bad it is not so.

Wow check my last post, I was on the other end of the scam though , but best believe I got scammed for 240 dollars , wanted to buy bitcoin. It would have been good if 2 honest lads like ourselves have meet before all this.

You have been scared now and so have I, but atleast now I know for sure you are not a scammer. You just cant take a man's word these days anymore

But the scammers will pay one way or the other, it will catch up with them.
894  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 6BTC with 84$ via paypal on: August 17, 2011, 11:30:21 PM
Hi Everyone,

It would be great if a moderator can remove or ban this user and delete his posts. Please let me know what information you need provided
895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AMD/ATI Overclocking on Linux (Ubuntu)? on: August 16, 2011, 11:53:07 PM
This works like a charm, thanks, no need for flashing

Ubuntu 11.04, using an install guide that I found there, sorry but I can't find the exact forum post.
Maybe it is a hardware issue, I'm using Sapphire 5870 with 1GB of VRAM.

EDIT: I followed most of this guide - http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9239.0
Substituting
Code:
wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/ati-driver-installer-11-5-x86.x86_64.run
sudo sh ati-driver-installer-11-5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/natty
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo aticonfig -f --initial --adapter=all
With
Code:
wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run
sudo sh ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/natty
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo aticonfig -f --initial --adapter=all
And I stopped following it when I hit "Setup Headless Bitcoin Mining"

Yes it is, I sent 200 USD to him through paypal for mtgox usd, have not received the code since, I had to open a dispute, and he has not replied as yet
897  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5 GH/s] BTCSERV.net - 6 BTC New Pool Promotion Inside on: August 13, 2011, 12:27:40 AM
I think your pool might be losing miners because of the current stats display and payout situation. Looking forward to the fix over the weekend,  I have stopped minning for now.
898  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Ubuntu Natty Narwhal 11.04 Mining Guide / HOWTO on: August 10, 2011, 01:04:01 AM
I'm a bit of a n00b to the whole command line thing. I'm getting the following error when I try to execute "./poclbm.py":
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./poclbm.py", line 3, in <module>
    from BitcoinMiner import *
  File "/home/joey/poclbm/BitcoinMiner.py", line 4, in <module>
    from log import *

I tried a different way to get my machine mining bitcoin with the poclbm miner that did not work, and I'm wondering if the previous method is interfering with this attempt.

Hey,

I think if you redo the following steps, use the example for whether 2.1 or 2.4. You basically need to redo from here cd pyopencl-0.92. But before you do that remove all .pyc files and siteconf.py. Redo the instructions and you should be up and running

32-bit 21. sudo sh -c 'echo "/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx32/lib/x86/" >> /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local.conf'
32-bit 22. ./configure.py --cl-inc-dir=/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx32/include/ --cl-lib-dir=/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx32/lib/x86
or
64-bit 21. sudo sh -c 'echo "/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx64/lib/x86_64/" >> /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local.conf'
64-bit 22. ./configure.py --cl-inc-dir=/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx64/include/ --cl-lib-dir=/opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx64/lib/x86_64

23. sudo ldconfig
24. source ~/.bashrc
25. make -j3
26. sudo make install

Hi Christian,

No problem, glad I could help, PM coming right up, perhaps I should put donations accepted. A worker would be great, since I just started myself

Hi

I was just wondering, how long will it take for the btc stats in the top left of the page to reflect the btc I have earned. Or how long does it take for the estimated rewards to become confirmed?

I also noticed yesterday, that the estimated rewards decreased significantly from the value it was at before ? Was there any reason for this ?
