Nice work! Cheesy
8842  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Python client on: April 13, 2011, 02:00:50 PM
"Background servers capable of running for longer than 30s" is a feature on Google's roadmap, so maybe a 100% App Engine bitcoin client will be possible in the future.
Is it possible right now? Smiley

8843  Other / Archival / Re: How to set up secure bitcoin savings account in 14 easy steps on: April 13, 2011, 10:12:51 AM
You should try Wuala.com. ( it also accept Bitcoin as payment: http://www.wuala.com/bitcoin )
It has many features like Dropbox, but it also include a local encryption before the upload Wink
8844  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Pledge for DOSBox donations (87 BTC so far) on: April 13, 2011, 09:35:47 AM
Btw, I think our next target could be http://www.scummvm.org/ Smiley
It's a good idea to find new common-used targets Cheesy
We can make a poll about them.
I think that a good one could be "Tor".

Tor can be useful also to people that will probably going to use Bitcoin.
It will spread the idea of Bitcoin in countries where there is a limited freedom.
8845  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: April 13, 2011, 08:46:34 AM
Cheesy
8846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Web site to encourage creation of worldwide bitcoin agents on: April 11, 2011, 12:41:41 PM
It will be great if something like this could be added directly on the official Bitcoin homepage Smiley
8847  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin.org Redesign (mockups inside) on: April 08, 2011, 12:50:51 PM
I asked many times on IRC chat about translating the wiki in italian language, I also sent an email. Nothing ...
8848  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Time to change the sub-title for this forum on: April 07, 2011, 07:31:53 AM
It is good to also change this on the official client.
"Mining" instead of "generate coins" Smiley
8849  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bounty for web based currency converter. on: April 06, 2011, 03:30:47 PM
I've come up with a very different solution :
A fully automated script that converts USD prices into BTC, based on the exchange rate at mtgox :

http://sanescreen.org/converter/

This is for sellers who do not want to / cannot use php

Note : My server is needed in order to fetch the JSON object returned by mtgox (getTrades.php).
It would be possible to bypass my server if mtgox was kind enough to provide a short javascript with a callback function.

Is there a way so you can make dynamic pictures?
I mean, it will be cool to put dynamic prices also on forums like this one.
So people will use something like this:
Code:
[IMG="http://sanescreen.org/converter/img.php?50.usd.jpg"][/IMG]
[IMG="http://sanescreen.org/converter/img.php?57.3.usd.jpg"][/IMG]

The little picture will show the price in BTC Smiley

I like it Cheesy
8851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: telnet bitcoincharts.com 27006 (tx/block monitor) on: April 06, 2011, 02:28:01 PM
Win7 x64

I can't see anything ( even if it seems connected ... )

EDIT:
It worked now ...
8852  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 30, 2011, 04:39:28 PM
8853  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 29, 2011, 11:18:44 PM

8854  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 29, 2011, 07:01:00 AM

8855  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 28, 2011, 08:22:03 PM
8856  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 28, 2011, 12:40:45 PM
Voi siete qua per curiosità, o avete qualche progetto già avviato per sfruttare i bitcoin?
8857  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: March 28, 2011, 05:52:28 AM
 Ben arrivato  Grin
8858  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Bitcoin Translation Room on: March 26, 2011, 01:06:45 PM
I want to add the italian language to the wiki.
What I have to do?
8859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Bitcoin Unicode Character? on: March 24, 2011, 10:56:09 AM
Ok, kinda like this:

Perfect Cheesy
8860  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [PATCH] UPnP on: March 13, 2011, 11:15:51 PM
It's ok to set it OFF by default, but I think that it is a good idea to show it with a wizard at the first start of the gui. ( example: emule )
