Does this mean the return of government cheese and powdered eggs, etc?

snip

Then how the hell is he so bitterly bearish on Bitcoin? If I was in his shoes I would be sleeping every night in a Bitcoin bed with Bitcoin pyjamas on my Bitcoin yacht.
Proudhon=mindrust. There is no way with his weak mentality to hold thousands of BTC's all these years and to be so bearish. He is like Smeagol chasing his lost precious and becoming twisted in his mind.

It is a good point. I don't buy he has 10s of millions or a whopping $100 million worth with the attitude he has here, unless he is shrouded in jewellery, has 10 naked women crawling over him constantly and is extremely cynical just for the sake of it because he is bored.

He mentioned a few times "I'll give you my last 0.1 BTC if you are right..." bs etc.

Who the fuck knows.

He did give away 1 Bitcoin after bitcoin hit $1000/BTC in 2013.

I'll give OP a bitcoin if it hits $1000/BTC this year.  Will not happen.

...

I was just hodling on to it so that I could give it away when it was obvious they were worthless.

He also apparently trollingly begged for bitcoins, then sent them to the bitcoin foundation when people actually donated to him.

Remember about half a year ago proudhon trollingly begged for donations, but when he actually got some from amused readers he sent those to the bitcoin foundation...

Samson thinks he's a whale.

...

Of course he's not stupid. 1 BTC to Proudhon is going to be but one drop in a vast ocean awash with BTC.

he is shrouded in jewellery, has 10 naked women crawling over him constantly and is extremely cynical just for the sake of it because he is bored.

Before the end of the workweek the price will be below $40k.

What's a "workweek"?

Its his punishment for not having bought Bitcoin. If he bought Bitcoin, it would have been just "week".

Proudhon bought Bitcoin, then sold high, then bought back in again at $2.4 each. He's got thousands of Bitcoins.

I guess this is as good a time as ever to admit that I went all in back at $2.4 but have had my finger very nervously over the sell button ever since.

...

Hey proudhon, weren't you saying it was going to die under $2.5?  Now you're saying you bought below $2.5... so you were a closet bull all along, eh?

I wouldn't say that.  I sincerely thought the price was going to fall through $2.00 and keep going.  When it looked like things were going to go better than expected, I hopped back on.  And in the nick of time, too.

This dude ran so far away... all night and day. Not sure if he got away.

I'll see myself out.

Math and science.

Makes me sad that I did not do anything when learning of bitcoin existence in late 2011 (price around $2).
For most people bitcoin required a couple of looks, or maybe it was just me.

It's not just you. I remember reading about the pizza sale in the paper and not doing anything.  Angry

... Meanwhile I just recovered from covid-19...

I really though I would manage to avoid it after all this time, but apparently no (didn't we declare this pandemic was officially over now when we are on the brink of WW3?). Oh well, fever, a cold and fricking tired -- is all good now.

Glad to hear you are better.

How long did it take to get over it? Did you take paracetamol, and if you did how long did you take it for?

Just when you thought people could not get any more moronic.

That hasn't happened since at least 1983.

Well, I just replaced the head gasket on my super efficient car. From 15mpg to 50mpg, I rule the fuel pumps...

(Note: Replacing head gaskets sucks. But spending good $$$ on a top notch torque wrench is nice)

Hopefully you remembered to use an air compressor to blow out all the moisture/debris in those head-bolt holes. (This is the number one reason for premature headmaster failure.)

Well if he didn't remember he can always use the Homer Simpson fix.

Maybe the thug life shades would be better.

Always red & green with CB. Just happens that Joe already provided the red in this one.

Well the end of his spliff is red, and the inside is probably green.

"Life's a beach!" Cool

Haven't posted a pic/meme in here for awhile so thought I'd show what happened when I checked the price an hour ago since this morning @$37.7k thinking this would be the bottom:

Hodl your Bitcoins.

916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - Reporting Missing Coins on: February 21, 2022, 10:18:05 PM
Wow!! Thank you for this. Sadly no dogecoin yet.

Apply to be a non-preferential creditor if you can prove you had doge there.

Judging by the eth sale I doubt they will directly return coins to creditors. They will probably sell them and return cash instead.

Page 12 of the insolvency/liquidators annual progress report from 26/04/2016 contains a form for letting the liquidator know what you are owed. This is the link to it.

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09009856/filing-history/MzE1MzA3NzYyNWFkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf&download=0

According to this filing on 28 January 2021 the insolvency/liquidator's registered office address changed to

Liam Alexander Short,
Elwell Watchorn & Saxton Llp,
8 Warren Park Way,
Enderby,
Leicester,
LE19 4SA.

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/09009856/filing-history/MzI4OTU3ODUwM2FkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf&download=0

I assume you would send the form there.

Hey bro idk if you can help but i had my dogecoin on moolah and  like this is the transaction, do you have any idea if thts a wallet linked to moolah https://blockchair.com/dogecoin/transaction/6941fb2429542aea31b67d1dfcf9d5743e2d3a13d6cd65ee467f329ffe00fbac

Sorry, I don't know if that's one of their wallets. If you have screenshots, or some other proof of your deposit it might be worth sending that form off.

Stuck at 47k again it seems.

Less than three years ago we were stuck at 4.7k for a while.

In a few years we might be pissed that it's stuck at 470k.

You bet, we'll be pissed.

Quote from the future.

Stuck at 470k again it seems.   Sad

Remember this?
