Use some common sense:
If it was a pump, why make it 8 billion coins? Why not just make it 10 million or even 3 million, etc and pump from there.
Dear people, this is probably the one coin that is actually having a natural growth, all these scams have made many of us skeptics of crypto world.

How do we know they aren't Sybils for the same entity? How do we know they didn't sell cheap to the manipulator? See I think the bottom line value will be the actual technology of the project. The price will rise high and then crash to the true value in the project. if the value only lies in the tech, why does bitcoin have a ~10 billion market cap? I can clone bitcoin right now. It's about usage and adoption. Something that NEM has done fairly well under the radar. Testing with real world companies and banks ... This is correct, a lot of techies fail to recognize that the simplest of solutions to crypto coins is making a simple coin anyone can use. Instead they add all these crazy features and whistles but the average individual can't even get a wallet to start. NEM is for the masses, not just those who roam in these boards. |

key difference is that NEM devs listened and are making a currency that anyone can use.
this is the number 1 reason why so many other fail while NEM is surging right now, they focused on usability

It looks like NEM took the investors falling out of ETH/DAO.
LISK is what intuition would have said, but it's still young.
LISK will have it's day, just not today. Patience and about 1+ years for LISK to shine if nothing too crazy is found.

Help, we are now 475 sats! Something must be up, it seems that we are getting alot of attention now!  Eth people are realizing that is better to invest in a coin that has capable devs with experience instead of relying on hype. |

I don't understand how people invested in a coin coded by a 20 something year old who made up his own coding language.
Coding genius? Seriously? There's thousands of kids around the world who are "coding geniuses", a lot of them start in their teens and is a hobby. I for one, learned coding in different languages when I was in my teens but have stopped short of my 20s and enjoyed life instead. It's not that hard, it just takes a bored teenager with some sense.

I have carefully examined the code of The DAO and decided to participate after finding the feature where splitting is rewarded with additional ether. I have made use of this feature and have rightfully claimed 3,641,694 ether, and would like to thank the DAO for this reward. It is my understanding that the DAO code contains this feature to promote decentralization and encourage the creation of "child DAOs".
I am disappointed by those who are characterizing the use of this intentional feature as "theft". I am making use of this explicitly coded feature as per the smart contract terms and my law firm has advised me that my action is fully compliant with United States criminal and tort law. A soft or hard fork would amount to seizure of my legitimate and rightful ether, claimed legally through the terms of a smart contract. Such fork would permanently and irrevocably ruin all confidence in not only Ethereum but also the in the field of smart contracts and blockchain technology. Many large Ethereum holders will dump their ether, and developers, researchers, and companies will leave Ethereum. Make no mistake: any fork, soft or hard, will further damage Ethereum and destroy its reputation and appeal.
I reserve all rights to take any and all legal action against any accomplices of illegitimate theft, freezing, or seizure of my legitimate ether, and am actively working with my law firm. Those accomplices will be receiving Cease and Desist notices in the mail shortly.

Eth's dev did dump 25% of his holdings, this smells of artificial price stability.
Think about it.
BTC is still king and will be for a long time, LISK will come up during the year.

Probably it´s the best to shut down the Laptops, go out and enjoy our lifes, while the Dust settles. In one or two weeks things will be different and hopefully better...  I second this motion.  |

Don't get it, why on earth that lisk was affected by The Dao being under attack? Lisk and DAO are totally different platform ayt?
Panic selling... ETH drops like crazy too... i call it buying opportunities Piggyback riding on DAO/ETH collapse for fud, completely different chains so LISK should be unaffected once panic settles down. |

Xem price is very low and that is not good
Why is everyone trying to use these failed fud tactics, anyone can see BTC is rising thus the BTC price will not be the same but USD is steady and rising. |
