Trading with no fee, thank you very much Bitmain  Smiley

I don't understand why people stay at cex.io

cex.io = trading fee and less earning per Gh/s ...

I think that UMISO will grow up and cex.io GH/S pull down quickly.

I think bitmain will add trading fees once they get more popular cex was the same with no maintenance fees and NO trading fees for a while.
926  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Extremely cheap groupbuy for 40k LTCgear Asic shares @ 20btc =1btc for 2k shares on: November 28, 2014, 02:26:48 AM
I'm hosting a groupbuy for a blackfriday deal I sniped. Here is more information: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=23372.0

Nice concept but I dont think people will offer to give you btc since you dont have much rep and trust. You might be honest but unfortunately too many scammers out there. I could not fund that transaction alone which is why I skipped it even though I could have gotten in on that black friday deal.

I am desperately hoping this is not a scam.

Lol I had the same thought process too. I was like maybe this is the cash grab part however what reassured me a bit was the fact that each code can only be used a small number of times. If he wanted to really cashgrab peoples bitcoins he would have the 30% discount code be available for an hour or two of course there is always that small thought in the back of my head still

Best deal I got so far 90% off an M10 mod. You can't beat that I knew a discount for the mod was coming when they removed the discounted price and put it back to $1,600 just cant believe I managed to grab it  Grin

wow that first coupon went quickly..30% discount would have been nice for the 15000 pack.

Seems the dual mods are lot more $$$ @ $1600, I bought one 6 weeks ago at $837 so even with 30% still pricey

I was debating to buy the 15000 pack but too costly for me now. I wound up just buying the 839 pack with the 30% discount. I know resellers are selling it cheaper but who knows since I heard chris is doing some rollbacks with some of the hacked accounts.
930  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 27, 2014, 09:18:21 PM
I agree with puppet, why trust an exchange like Havelock that has been there for over two years. An exchange that is registered and complies with local securities regulators at the same location where they reside.  Provides fast support and a telephone number in case you need to reach them right their on their contact page.  Never had any major security issues since inception and provides a quality service to AM and AMHASH investors with no buy in fees and a low 0.4% sell fee.

I agree completely I personally have all my shares on havelock and sometimes buy and sell depending on the swings and dips. For AMHASH to have my business first they MUST lower the trading fees. $1.10 and 9% is ridiculous and forces people to keep their shares longer (sure this can have benefits but I HATE having my money tied up, its always nice to know I can pull out if I find a better investment and need it quick). Second if you want to distinguish yourself accept more payments than just bitcoin maybe paypal (GAW's model). Third I would like some more transparency such as showing your mining address for a week or so. The BTCguild few minute thing does not prove anything. Show us a week's worth or real time mining and it would definitely help.
931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining profitability of cloud mining services on: November 27, 2014, 09:05:02 PM
What also helps is that websites like LTCgear multiply our shares by 1.35 every month and a half. This somewhat compensates slightly for the difficulty increase, making the initial weeks still very close to the original difficulty.

What makes LTCgear and a few other sites similar to it much better is no maintenance fees. This is very good considering the most competitive services that do charge fees take at least 50%
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCGears on: November 25, 2014, 11:07:48 PM
Everyone and their mother seem to be selling LTCGears?

Is this the end of a ponzi scheme?

I'm a complete n00b and thus know nothing about mining but the plethora of mining shares and the dropping prices makes me wary.

Keep in mind multiplication just happened not too long ago. Also the new black friday special is ALOT of shares for cheap. Could just be reselling them. If you buy them it is slightly less than $3 a mh (2.93 or so by rough calculations).

935  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitmain coupons on: November 25, 2014, 02:24:34 AM
No one will buy them since bitmain is giving them away for free.
936  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 25, 2014, 02:23:47 AM
20956 satoshi paid up to date, thats 16,75% of 125000 IPO price. We should see 20% at the end of the month.

What is nice though is you can sell now for instant ROI. Not that a lot of people will but always nice to have that on the backburner in case you need the coin.
937  Economy / Service Discussion / Locked Cryptsy Account any help? on: November 24, 2014, 09:13:07 PM
So apparently someone hacked my cryptsy account a week ago and i contacted support and the customer security manager Horus locked my account for my protection. The bitcoin transaction was attempted to be withdrawn but was pending for hours. I told them to cancel the pending transaction since it was not me which I saw they did and refunded the coin to my account. I then get my account locked and He replied with the following:
Quote
Please immediately do a full and thorough virus/malware scan on any
system that you connect to Cryptsy with.
Please also delete any crypto related browser extensions you may have
recently downloaded.
If you use the same information across multiple sites, please change your
passwords AFTER you
do a full and thorough virus/malware scan.
Once you are sure that your system is clean, please create a clean, new
email address for me
to apply to your account. I can then help you to regain full control of
your account.
Thank you,
Horus
Cryptsy Security

I followed his instructions and apparently he locked my account minutes after the message. I replied saying I did what he requested, added 2FA, changed PW and wanted my account back. Its now been 5 days and still no response. Any suggestions has anyone experienced anything like this before. I could understand a few days but I have been waiting since last Wednesday for my account to be unlocked.
938  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BITMAIN coupons for sale on: November 22, 2014, 02:31:30 AM
Bitmain is giving these coupons out for free now just have to email them. Good luck selling them when they are free now
939  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashie.co - Cloud Mining from 0.0012 BTC / GH | NEW: AMHash | FREE 10 GH on: November 20, 2014, 10:20:49 PM
Great news however to be competitive with havelock you NEED to lower the market sell fees. Sure withdrawals and some features are better on hashie.co however the fee difference (0.4%) to 9% + about $1.1 is ridiculous.

I agree the Sell fees are way too high on Hashie but i think they do this to prevent people from selling and encourage holding.

One of the reasons is to prevent abuse of the free miner promo, we won't reveal more details.

Thats ok but to make it more reasonable eliminate the fixed one at a minimum. This will encourage the smaller fish to sell. Id say maybe 10% fee no flat fee. Although for me to switch from havelock the fees would have to drop to 5% or less just so my coin isnt tied up if i do need it
940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 20, 2014, 08:11:32 PM
Did the new fee structure hit yet?

2014-11-21 00:06:19    -0.0083698    1.0695362  BTC    Mining    Maintenance Fee: AntminerS2
2014-11-21 00:06:19    +0.0115744    1.0779061  BTC    Mining    Earnings: AntminerS2

That means I only had a profit of 30% meanwhile it should be more along the lines of 50%.
