Trying to build from source, other coins are make-ing fine:

Super easy to mine currently even solo, everyone should be mining this coin currently.

Exactly, I'm not sure if KGW helps with profit switching pools as it counters what KGW was meant to fix very well.
Also when the difficulty remains high but the pools have switched off, then difficulty takes ages to re-target at low hash rates.
