921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't ask about the price. No one knows! on: January 03, 2021, 06:04:11 PM
Those people who sold already are trying to spread FUD so that they don't have to regret. I just have seen another thread in other board where a guy was trying to spread FUD over twitter. Nevertheless, I wouldn't say BTC is undervalued; nor overpriced but from such position anything can happen. We may see a significant drop as well as correction while $50k seems very achievable.
922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t fall for weak Bitcoin-FUD on Twitter on: January 03, 2021, 05:58:45 PM
Holy Crap! Such stupid arguement. There will be 21 million BTC only, dividing them into small parts like mBTC, uBTC, satoshi doesn't make it more than 21 milion BTC. They don't know how fiat USD is formed from cent to USD. Did you reply in the tweet?
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought $500 BTCinto my coinbaspro account but in the orders tab it shows $372? on: January 02, 2021, 09:06:47 PM
I guess there's a misunderstanding. There's no reason why your BTC value would decrease since you said you purchased at around $29k, while now it's above $31k. And there is no exchange which would charge high fee. I guess some of your order isn't filled yet. Have you chacked your order history and current order list? That would solve your mystery of losing fund I believe.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 02, 2021, 07:43:08 PM
I have go back and check how much I had deposited and how much I have profited or lost from gambling. However, overall, I can say I'm in profit but that not too much ad I don't gamble with big money. The unforgetable betting this last year was getting 5.40 odd for ManU against PSG and I won the match. It was a big win for me indeed.
925  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinPrice.is - Real-time BTC <-> USD price conversion tool on: January 02, 2021, 07:32:53 PM

Is this referring to mBTC? I have no idea how 100 sats is denoted by but if it's referring 1 mBTC, it should be 0.001 BTC & the first one is referred as uBIT which should be mBTC I guess. Nevertheless, it looks smooth and I liked the dark version.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Happening? $31K on: January 02, 2021, 06:07:41 PM
Bitcoin is in dangerous territory.. It's not wise to buy at this moment.. rather wait for it to consolidate at a level ad then try to enter it..
May be you will say it again @$40k, may be @$50k; kidding but no one can certainly say what's going to happen now. I can't see any sign of falling although it may fall anytime.
It's good to see more and more people are showing interest on buying BTC but sadly they don't buy the dip rather they join when most of the investors are at good profit and anytime they may dump their bag.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2021 become the year of the Lightning Network? on: January 02, 2021, 05:48:36 PM
According to Gresham's law, people prefer to keep valuable currency, which is a store of value, and not use it for payments.
You certainly have a valid point. As the supply is limited, people may only use it as store of value but still, it seems possible because we are in a bullrun where a lot of new investors are coming into the market. Certainly all of these will have an ending; someday the institute putting their money into bitcoin as treasury will certainly spread FUD and leave the market. Therefore, at the end of the day, you will be leaving with payments only I guess and that's what should it be IMO. I discovered it as ease method of payment; still using it as that.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2021 become the year of the Lightning Network? on: January 01, 2021, 05:54:24 PM
I don't think it;s happening anytime soon although Electrum has implemented LN. Very few people are aware of what LN is and how it works and most of them are aware of based on article, information given. Only a little amount of users have tried it. Therefore, it will take time to be popular among everyone. Before that, it's more important to have acceptance of LN everywhere. People will only find it useful once it's accepted in everywhere and you know very few merchants accepting bitcoins have implemented LN and I'm sure most of them don't know what LN is; the same happened with the segwit, still not used by everyone.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / How to check return against BTC on: January 01, 2021, 04:59:21 PM
In coinmarketcap or coingecko, we can filter list of coins with most gain in the last 7 days which is based on USD; but I'm looking for such a list which will be based on BTC pair. I can check one by one but I'm not looking for that; in fact I'm not looking on any particular crypto, that's the problem. Is there any crypto tracking site which shows top performing coin list against BTC within last 7 days or any given time period?
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you ever bet on SRL events? on: January 01, 2021, 04:42:04 PM
I have seen such bet option earlier but have never tried because I don't know how this works actually? Can you put some light? Nevertheless, placing bet on IPL matches are uncertain most of the times as any team may win; no sure bet is there in fact; then how would I bet on match which outcome even doesn't depend on the team effort? I guess it's very risky to place bet on such matches and I will never consider betting on  such matches.
931  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag STOLE MY MONEY on: January 01, 2021, 04:36:04 PM
You read the T&C and you knew that what you were going to do was against their terms and conditions of using betcoin.ag; then why did you do that and now asking for giving your deposit back? It's really stupid, you don't deserve the deposit refund. Apart from that, most of the sites don't allow withdraw fund without x number of wager because people may use the site to launder money.
932  Economy / Reputation / Re: Be careful with this account on: January 01, 2021, 04:29:27 PM
If it's on telegram then just forget about it. If the deal has done off-forum, then nothing to do with forum users.
According to the telegram chat and the tx link OP posted, it proves that this address belongs to the said scammer- 0xdb8274bde4f5cf292f82ddaac09c791a906e3b11
The tx includes said amount; you can be sure that what OP is saying is true. OP, why didn't you include the profile link of the scammer above? You can create a flag and ask for support.
933  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal on: December 31, 2020, 07:06:51 PM
First time, you didn't know the rules and made the mistake; you could have edited your post instead of deleting since you are not alowed to delete. After that, you read the rules but repeated the same. I don't think you will be any of exception for theymos to consider the ban.
934  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: December 31, 2020, 06:44:42 PM
I don't know who you are talking about but it seems he is right. Everythings depends on traders mind. If we check back, we exepcted to hit $30 f it once hit 25; which is going to be happened and after that; another FOMO will be created which will lead the price to higher and I guess after that we will see correction/bearish season for a long time again.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NFL have their first player played in bitcoin on: December 30, 2020, 07:40:10 PM
Unfortunately he’s not being paid in Bitcoin, he’s just converting some of his US dollar salary into Bitcoin. He may well be promoting Zap ?

https://www.theverge.com/2020/12/29/22205181/nfl-russell-okung-not-paid-bitcoin-debunk-carolina-panthers-cryptocurrency

Even though the news isn’t quite correct , it is great news. Any high profile person promoting Bitcoin has got to be a positive thing  Smiley

I would say both are correct as there are ways to get paid through bitcoin while your employer will be paying fiat. There are some services out there I guess which I can't name exactly at the moment. Nevertheless, what's ZAP? Any crypto?
936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN FORUM account opened today. So many questions.......lets talk anonymity on: December 30, 2020, 07:22:41 PM
Yes you can do that if it's not that big amount you can use binance without the need to verify your account for a limit of 2BTC daily if I'm  not mistaken ,you just need to update your account with Google authenticator .
If you are going to use centralize exchange for such purpose, you have messed up. Binance will all the time keep the LOG of your history. So, even though Binance won't know the man behind the tx, Binance will certainly know the BTC origin (where you sent from) and the destination (where you are withdrawing) & thus, they can trace you. On the other hand, a mixer doesn't keep such log if they are good one like CM.
937  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did i break any rules here? Can someone help? on: December 30, 2020, 07:13:36 PM
I don't if you are offering a legal service or not; but the tag isn't a good one of course and you don't deserve that in my opinion. Since, forum don't moderate the trust system, you can move the thread in reputation section and discuss with others what they think about the tag.

939  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Exchange Hack (or Scam) ? on: December 30, 2020, 07:02:21 PM
Still confusing whether it's an exit scam or a hack although it doesn't make sense at all when hacker has no access to the funds. According to the message in the website, it seems hacker has no control over the fund of the exchange. You can follow and join the discussion here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159692.480
940  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is freewallet a scam? on: December 27, 2020, 06:02:54 PM
If you were privacy concerned person, why would you use such wallet and why would you use USDT? Anyway, they have been tagged for shady reason and it’s likely that you have been ripped off.
