Proof of stake an alternative to proof of work is a faster, economic and energy-efficient mechanism to validate transactions on the Blockchain.
The huge electricity bills incurred due to mining of coins using Proof of Work consensus mechanism prompts the miners to sell off their cryptocurrency to pay for the bills. This causes a depreciation in the value of the currency which ultimately results in low profitability of mining. To counter this disadvantage, Proof of Stake consensus mechanism was introduced. Yeah its seems POS is more efficient than POW, and I was just wondering if you did also consider other more viable consensus mechanisms instead? |

Although both are not big exchanges and not popular like big ones but good news is that this process will move forward smoothly. In coming days support will increase with the growth of the community and it will get succeed to take place on big exchanges. Yeah, I do think its a very important step in making this project grow and have to work out with it but in light with this I'm assuming that the team and community would eventually aim for much bigger exchanges at the soonest time possible. |

UPDATE We have been alpha testing the URAllowance platform over the past four days. I didn't feel it was ready for beta testing. There were a few bugs that made it subpar. If you absolutely can't wait to see it, let me know and I will send you a copy. OH! Yeah. the testing environment is compatible with Android.... I am not a developer so I can't say why but I have an Android so I'm happy with that.Thanks for the honest assessment of the current state of the app. There will be some guys who can't wait to get the app hopefully. Being among the first testers of a soon to be successful project is something you should go for if you have the time. I think the whole community will appreciate the honest and concise response from the team as this simple updates fosters mutual trust among each other which is a very good element for the project. |

i'm also impatient to try the new beta of the application with the hope that it works right away at best and be without bugs...
I'm actually very interested in acquainting my own kids with this platform and I am very positive it will have real benefits with them.  but it looks like this project can't be expected for the future, I see URA tokens don't exist in Coinmarketcap, and about updates it also looks slow, where can I buy URA? etherdelta? forkdelta? LOL  I heard that URAllowance app is being Alpha tested right now and I hope they will release the Beta very soon. |

They have a growing community obviously but seems admin is busy woth something. The supporters also need to hear some fresh updates from them.
A project that does not update information regularly will cause confusion and lack of confidence in the investment environment. People will not know where the project is going. I do not think that updates depend on investor investments. Did not you think that the developer can be just busy with improvement of the platform? Well updates and plans are depends in the activeness and capabilitilies of the team developers but the investors and supporters are the blood that will keeo the project alive. Investors will feed funds that will used for project development and progress the supporters are the boosting system to maintain the activeness and lively each activities of the project. I just hope the community here gets updated on whats going on with tokensales and how the roadmaps are planned to get kickstarted I really hope one of the devs just stepin here and just give some good news I think communication is very important on every project and its very critical that the team should never take it for granted because it might fuel certain anxieties to the community. |

Just heard about SharkPool - "will be using hash power to kill all Altcoins" , will this affect DUSK Network significantly?
SharkPool will not have any effect on Dusk Network for a following reasons; -Dusk Network does not utilize PoW -The rewards paid to Provisioners are inversely proportional to their staked amount (i.e. bigger stakes get proportionally rewarded lesser, in respect to smaller stakes) and are earned regardless of Provisioners' participation in the VVN operations. This measure is not a viable option outside of the Dusk Blockchain, where the probability to win the sortition lottery and therefore take an active part to the SBA⋆ algorithm is not associated with a reward, except the sole payment of the transaction fees. Then it makes sense for a large wallet to split a large amount into many small wallets? Or is the number of Provisioners limited? Although about this I no information not saw. SBA⋆ foresees a few different types of actors in the network to reach consensus: - Network nodes - transactional network clients. They compete with each other by locking an arbitrary amount for the generating and proposing of new blocks. Block generation is a computationally light task and therefore running a node does not require neither specialised equipment nor storage. The intention is for normal mobile devices to be able to run as a node within the network. The non-deterministic nature of the bidding process makes it so that even nodes bidding the minimum amount of DUSK have a fair chance to win the block generation sortition lottery
- Provisioners - These are nodes that have committed a certain minimum stake to the Dusk Network and take care of more network intensive tasks such as block verification, voting, and notarization (VVN operations). These types of nodes are non-transactional
The intention is to create an economy where nodes compete for block rewards, while Provisioners earn a steady ROI. Thank you for that clarification. I guess DUSK stakeholders will have peace of mind knowing that the network is not vulnerable to that kind scheme. |

For today there are many orders to buy, volumes increased, will new exchanges be? or what does that mean?
Weekly volume didn't exceed 34 eth for the last month. In other words this tells us that at the moment mtv is not of interest for traders. Developers must to take more concrete and practical steps to allow progress. It could be a valid reason but maybe no one is interested in selling their eMTV right now for the fact that most are staking it on the airdrop system. |

trading volume is still low to make any moves. looks like Utrust competitor (monetha) got some release, so price has pumped a bit. very exited if utrust can get e-money license this year..
I do fervently hope that UTRUST community will achieved more milestones in terms of development and media mileage by next year and will continue to gain a steady flow of supporters. |

How their platform development going? When full launch? As I know they have competitor already? Decentraland also selling virtual spaces (land) ....
I think there are many other competitors for Mark.space right now. If the team starts posting their updates here and there, do some marketing right now then I feel there will be more buy walls at this moment. Its a nice idea. Posting updates on this thread only reassures that the team are very active on development and I guess its one of the things that they should not take for granted. Imho. |

Payment will be available only in SOMA tokens? Or in other crypto-currencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin? When will be available full plaform?
SCT tokens will be one of the payments. Other currencies will also be added on the platform  So there is will be also more popular payment like ETH, BTC? In this way SOMA tokens will not have liquidity, because I think people will prefer pay in more popular currencies like ETH I think SCT is designed to be utilized in the marketplace so is has a unique purposes on a unique platform, so I guess it has a valid use case as compared to contemporary crypto's out there. |
