921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: "Watch Only Wallet" - confused and potentially robbed, need help on: August 30, 2016, 04:02:54 PM
UPDATE

Thank you for responding Premium Code.

Ok so i just made a little headway … I traced my transaction from my localbitcoins account to the address here 1Ld7rHtF62d1HXNFcpgnpMNh47jvkWaq8Z

That address must be associated with my block chain wallet, but when i log into wallet 2, it shows nothing, which means it must be associated with the other wallet 1, which I never successfully logged into …. so what recourse do I have if any?

Even if that address belongs to your 'wallet 1', you should be able to view it from 'wallet 2' that is associated with 'wallet 1'. So, if the funds are in 'wallet 1' and 'wallet 2' is the watch-only access of 'wallet 1', you must be able to view it from 'wallet 2'. Since you cannot see the funds from 'wallet 2', it means the funds are not in 'wallet 1' therefore I see no reason why you should spend efforts on recovering 'wallet 1'.

Haven't you got two full-access wallets by any chance? You could have two wallets and both full-access wallets could have an own watch-only access so overall you could have 4 accesses. We said that 'wallet 1' was a full access wallet and 'wallet 2' was its watch-only access so there may be another full access wallet 'wallet 3' and its watch-only access 'wallet 4'. Maybe, you confused 'wallet 4' with 'wallet 2' and the funds are in 'wallet 4's full access wallet so 'wallet 3'. The answer may be in your e-mail history since blockchain info always sends you the login ID at new wallet registration.

922  Economy / Goods / Re: Unheated/Untreated ruby 1.27 carats with GIA report on: August 30, 2016, 03:43:40 PM
I use small images- I just checked a couple of them to be sure but they are like 140K.  No clue why they don't show up, but I think I just won't use images anymore when I post.  It's unfortunate but such is life.

We still could simply click on the placeholder to open any picture in your thread where you inserted hyperlink to the picture. Also I am very thankful for your kind private message, which I will answer after asking some additional questions from my relative so that I could provide you important details about the blue sapphire seal-ring we want. GLWS!
923  Economy / Goods / Re: Unheated/Untreated ruby 1.27 carats with GIA report on: August 30, 2016, 09:14:21 AM
That's very strange- when I click on the links they all come up just fine.  Are you logged in when you click?  Not sure if that makes a difference though...

Yes, I am logged in. I checked the URLs from the thread code and the code and the extensions are alright. When I visit the URLs directly, they show up fine in my browser. I was using the newest Firefox, but the whole case was the same from IE too because I checked it. My tips are either that the host ( postimg ) is somehow restricted by Bitcointalk or the pictures' sizes exceed the allowed size on the site.
924  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Pre-Introducing a new type of physical bitcoin, the Keyois Capsule on: August 30, 2016, 09:02:30 AM
I had planned to do some demos of trying to destroy it, it has boro-silicate glass that should be more temperature resistant than regular glass but it still might not survive some of the things I have in mind.

Will you create some demos in spite of your doubts? I could appreciate some demos where the item faces real challenge and maybe gets damaged too. I think, demos where the Keyois Capsule survives the methods with full health will be great to attract potential customers to it, but the future users who are about to buy your item may want to know what methods mean real challenges to the capsule and when it gets damaged, what kind and how much damage it can take before turning into unusable.

It is very similar in theory to a stamped metal block, with the bonus of being tamper evident and small. It doesn't weight a whole lot, ...

... and as an additional advantage, its small size and weight makes it easier to ship, which will be a very good for your international customer base.
925  Economy / Goods / Re: Unheated/Untreated ruby 1.27 carats with GIA report on: August 30, 2016, 08:40:10 AM
Those image links still work- just click on each one and you will see!

No, I cannot view the pictures anymore :/ Some weeks ago I could view the pictures in this thread without a problem but nowadays I always get the invalid image proxy issue that was discussed on the forum before. In spite of having this issue, I still could ask for relevant pictures from you via PM, which I will do later, but maybe you could consider doing some research why the issue occurs. I think, fixing it could increase newcomers' attraction to your thread here  (;
926  Economy / Goods / Re: Unheated/Untreated ruby 1.27 carats with GIA report on: August 29, 2016, 03:07:32 PM
Were the pictures removed / outdated from the thread?

Anyway, I shew your FB page to my relative and we were amazed. His first question was about the honesty of your offer, but I shew him the user feedbacks and the official reports and he found them alright. He said that he would still wait with ordering for personal reasons yet but he said that he would definitely return to consider your offer. He would want to get a blue sapphire seal ring, at the end.

I also am thinking of buying it for him as a gift in the future, but we will see.

If you could share me some recent pictures, that we have not seen yet in your FB page, about your blue sapphire or even seal rings, I would appreciate it though and I am sure I could help my relative have sweet dreams by showing your pictures to him... until I buy a similar for him from you and his dream becomes reality x))

In my opinion, it looks great in the attached picture and I consider its design a kind of unique in its market. I definitely am interested in ordering one in the future so I am adding your thread to my list. According to the description, it is pretty safe too but I will look forward to reading some feedback about that before the actual order.
928  Economy / Services / Re: IDS Option Signature Campaign-Weekly Payment, Easy Requirements(payout edited) on: August 29, 2016, 02:30:03 PM
I confirm that the payment for my last week's support has arrived well to my address. It has been a smooth transaction: exact in amount and arrived before deadline just like everytime so far. I look forward to spreading the word this week too. Long live your project ( and this opportunity ... )  Smiley !
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: "Watch Only Wallet" - confused and potentially robbed, need help on: August 29, 2016, 02:25:01 PM
I cannot see a way that you had the money in blockchain wallet and it disappeared without a trace. Blockchain saves every transaction and I do not know about any method that could change transaction history. Could you elaborate a bit more please how did this "Watch only" wallet work? At an other online provider I have an account that supports a more complicated 'Full' and an easier 'Watch only' access, but the two accesses are to the same account so if I do something with 'Full' access, it appears in 'Watch only' mode too.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Old Address's on: August 29, 2016, 02:02:31 PM
You can still receive money to them and the money appears in your account balance. It is possible to view the balance per each address, including old ones, in Advanced settings on blockchain wallet web GUI. For security purpose you could export the private key into an offline storage, though. After the export, the addresses still should be usable from your online wallet.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TuxExchange.com - Cryptocurrency exchange. 0.15% trade fee - FREE DOGE on: August 29, 2016, 09:54:38 AM
I am returning my experience about the recent TuxExchange update(s) here.

Although Tuxexchange API was fully working in the time of my last review too, the outputs, in general, received better formatting and the API documentation was updated with new examples and the documentation's text was reviewed, found typos were corrected.
Thank you for supporting our, developers' and testers', work, Tuxexchange team!

When I was writing my last feedback, there still was an issue at API key generation from Firefox. For now, the issue was resolved with a new fix that not only made API key generation possible from Firefox, it made the generation overall quicker by removing an unnecessary reload command.
Thank you for considering Firefox users and bringing a fix so that we will be able to use Tuxexchange smoothly from this browser as well!

On the security side, all security features are working now since the e-mail sending at successful login feature's issue with outlook was resolved.
Thank you for helping us secure our accounts that are important for us in order to trade!

I consider the last update an overall very good job and I wish you will keep the good work on Tuxexchange in the future too!
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Withdraw Bitcoins to a bank account on: August 27, 2016, 10:39:12 AM
The origin of the money will be the person whom you will deal with. You can find a person to exchange with at localbitcoins site. A problem could be if the person tried to scam you or there was a slippage in the market. To avoid these, check the person's reputation on localbitcoins, split the transaction into smaller exchanges ( at least smaller than the biggest exchange the person had in the past ) and cover an interval of time with them. I suggest meeting the person face to face and exchange at place, but if that is not possible, use a trusted escrow from localbitcoins, at least. Since he is near you, he should have a bank account in the same country as you ( Switzerland ). Good luck on you!
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: August 27, 2016, 10:26:57 AM
I am not sure if you still need any more advice, but newcomers at this thread could so I am sharing my opinion. I consider Localbitcoins a good place to start from since they have a proper trust system to choose someone to deal with. Then you can choose from escrow and P2P exchanges. When writing P2P exchange, I mean the method what in you physically meet with the person whom you are about to deal with and exchange at place. Another advantage of this method is the instant exchange. People near you at localbitcoins should provide an opportunity for you to do it.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: August 27, 2016, 09:53:28 AM
I understand that you feel bad for losing so much money in trading and I also know that in the unpredictable cryptocurrency business one's faith is very important and that for having a bad experience with trading may have broken your faith. The thing that we need to understand is that all BTC based opportunity is an investment and all investment in this field is very risky so we always should pay high caution. I have very good hope for BTC's future but still I would never put more money into trading than what I did not regret too much to lose. However, when you lose, you could ask yourself why you lost and wonder whether you could do it better next time. In trading, it is very difficult to make a precise prediction, but it is possible to obtain the skills that make your chances better. So, to sum it up, I advise you to never put more money into trading than you would put into gambling, but in trading you could try to expand your knowledge and experience to have better chances next time. You can have better chance next time only if there is a next time so if you continue and try again. But it should be your decision, after all. I just hope I could help you a bit to reconsider your decision.
935  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ordered something from all4btc.com on: August 27, 2016, 09:34:26 AM
Relax, I think that you will not get scammed. The interval that you wrote is within the boundaries of what is considered 'normal' at them. If I was in your place, I would wait a few more days before feeling uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I read that their support is not very good but the company's reputation is fine. I have not had to contact their support yet but I order from them when the time is not important. We all take a certain amount of risk when using their service just like at any other cryptocurrency related provider.
936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: August 27, 2016, 09:25:34 AM
I advise you to split your $20k BTC between a range of possibilities. You could invest into altcoin mining then exchange the coins into BTC when the opportunity is very good. Besides exchanging and trading, you could put some into cloud mining, PTC, HYIP and RevShare. For me the most profitable from the possibilities that I tried was when started to accept BTC in my business. If you have a business already, you could earn BTC by accepting this form of payment ( which could be considered a kind of risk since it is different than fiat ) but $20k should be enough to start a completely new business, too.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: On exchanges is it cheaper? on: August 26, 2016, 11:36:56 AM
You are writing about the 'fee', right? And I assume that at the site where you want to exchange it is always 0.2%. If I am right, neither of them is cheaper for you because 0.2% will be always a fair amount compared to what you want to exchange. In BTC network, it is a bit more difficult to calculate, but within the exchange site you can easily calculate with the given fee. I often exchange an overall big value in one go but that is only to save efforts. To exchange a very big amount, I suggest splitting it into smaller exchanges - if you want - to prevent causing slippage in the market and to exchange small amounts, you may want to wait the end of a disadvantageous slippage if you experience it in the market. From fee view, exchanges are usually better to exchange small amounts compared to individuals and although there is no significant fee difference between exchanging small or big amounts at your exchange, one more thing that I would consider in your place is the possibility of the exchange may go rogue. It is less likely to happen compared to an individual, but it could happen and besides optimizing your fee, you should consider this possibility, too and it may influence how much value you use on one exchange site.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automatic Bots on: August 26, 2016, 10:31:51 AM
GEKKO is an up-to-date BTC trading bot under MIT license. It supports a wide range of trading sites already including very popular ones like Poloniex. Additionally, you could write simple scripts yourself to automate trades on sites with APIs that are not in Gekko's list. I wrote an on-site Ruby tutorial for beginners. It should work fine with upcoming trading sites like TuxExchange. I warn you, though, automatic bots are supposed to automate the steps that you would do manually. You still should have the idea of the basics first. Also, I advise you to consider that, in spite of the precise and quick algorithms, there is no guarantee on the amount of your profit especially with small investments.
939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade with crypto currency? on: August 26, 2016, 10:03:40 AM
Rumors, announcements, fundamentals, technical analysis, news, trading experience, trading techniques, the amount of funds that you can provide and luck (!) are all important factors. Watch out for pumps and make sure to react in the momentum! If you are inexperienced, I suggest starting with small amounts. Later, you may increase your funds to invest in order to have better profits. However, even when you are cautious to all these factors, trading is risky and that is why you should split your funds up between more than one idea. If you have a platform, you too could manipulate the prices. In the long run, do not fall into the trap of your own illusions, though! Cryptomarket is unpredictable and uncontrollable in the long run and my most important suggestion is developing an excellent adaptability skill that comes from the experienced and knowledgeable use of the above-mentioned factors.
940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Finding patterns in graphs on: August 26, 2016, 09:41:12 AM
As others said above, it is a difficult field to understand and I do not know how much from the basics you know and also how much time you are willing to put into it. Without much experience, it is a bit like gambling. I do not wonder why there are sites where you can make bets on the possible changes. To explain it in depths, I think one post would not be enough, but if you PM me, I can suggest some book that I found helpful.
