921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next move on: May 10, 2022, 08:46:41 AM
This may be it. I am not 100 percent sure but this is too bad there should be nothing left to be dumped.
Honestly, I didn't expect it but thankfully I got a hold of myself to buy at $35k. I was there, near purchasing it until it went down at the last minute.
I am half glad and half worried about what is happening but at an optimistic view this is a big opportunity.
I won't let this one pass anymore to avoid regretting it later.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 10, 2022, 07:21:30 AM
Al Horford had himself a game. 30 points for the old guy against an MVP in Giannis. On top of the Gianni’s had a bad shooting night but put up huge numbers himself. I didn’t expect the Celtics to win another game against the Bucks but they’re showing that they can compete. Horford and Taytum carried them tonight.

No real surprise with the Warriors game. The Grizzlies put up a good fight without Ja Morant though. I didn’t expect that they’d keep the game so close.
I didn't expect the Grizzlies can keep the lead until almost the end of the game. They are good even without their leader and the skills of Adams and Jackson Jr. was highlighted today. Now a question clouds my mind. Why didn't they use Adams at the start of the series? Because as I watched it, it didn't seem like Adams is a weakness at all in the pace of the game. He actually became one of their strength in protecting the paint because Jordan Poole is hesitating to attack it unlike the previous games.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC be used as a world currency?? on: May 09, 2022, 06:39:50 PM
It might stay as an asset for a very long time. I'd suggest you swallow that truth first and just be surprised in happiness if ever Bitcoin will come the world's currency. It had been battling to exist in this world while others are trying to erase it, perhaps we should start with that.
Not that I doubt Bitcoin's capability of being adopted by small countries but it is the human mind that I doubt to accept it.
The belief about a physical money is still clinging to the brains of the people. Traditional way of trading money for food or other things with the use of a paper, plastic or a metal. That cannot be easily erased.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 09, 2022, 05:17:10 PM
^That's great! He definitely deserve that award. One of the game changers of the league and the point of view in center positions. They can also learn to be a good passer. Congratulations to The Joker.

I doubt the Grizzlies will recover from what the Warriors are throwing at them. From defense to the offensive end, they are having a lot of troubles to answer back. Frustrations are also swallowing them and it's not a good mentality when it comes to the playoffs. Experienced players will definitely win this one.

925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the crypto market heading now on: May 09, 2022, 12:50:59 PM
Question for all altcoin investors

1. Can Ape coin beats doge coin some day? In rank on coinmarketcap
After one billionaire bought Twitter, do you think it can?  Cheesy

2. When should we start expecting a better greenish market again?.
There's no accurate answer for this but all have their own predictions about it. IMO, it's after June, somewhere in July and August. I am using a semi-annual basis of investment where they will take their profits (dividends) and might use it for investing in cryptocurrencies.
3. Now that we are a ina  bear market will metaverse hype keep going on?.
Yes, and others may think this is the best time for cheaper price.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 08, 2022, 06:39:20 PM
Yeah, almost a triple double performance for Giannis again, he knows that he will be double or even triple team that's why he look for the open man. Although there were instance that his pass was intercepted, but at least he prove clutch again. For sure Tatum will bounce back next game, he had a good series against the Nets and I said that he is a legit star now. So he has to adjust to the defense being put on him to score.
The other Celtics problem is the speed of the game. The Bucks are trying to always slow it down to avoid creating the momentum for the Celtics where they are used at. It's a nice strategy from their coaching staff. Take it slow, every second must be dried out while looking for an open man.

Philly against Heat later. A crucial game for the Heat to steal a game in the 76ers home. They are overflowing with confidence now with Embiid's return and they may want to stop that if they want to finish this in Miami. If not, it may go as far as Game 7.
927  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Tesla decided to sell its Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2022, 05:28:13 PM
for the short term there will be a big dump. but no long term impact. I don't think they're all stupid, they will sell gradually and announce all of it after they finish selling it. so no one realizes that they have sold their bitcoins. and when the announcement is published there will be a momentary dump.
I do think he did it already. I have not read the SEC file if there is a timeline on when the asset could be moved but if there is a statement that says it can be moved anytime he likes then he might be selling it gradually that's why we are experiencing price dumps with unknown reasons.
It's all just business for him and it will stay that way. I doubt he is the holder type like many forum members here who will keep it long term and wait for the mainstream to accept BTC as a widespread currency. IIRC, he bought at $36k so if it goes $40k again it might just be dumped to take profits.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT could grow 35% by 2027 on: May 08, 2022, 12:56:39 PM
That's optimistic but I doubt it will come true in this era of cryptocurrencies.
Don't you see what is happening? The POV is to make money in a short span of time and that means they will withdraw if they see gains. Then they get over it and find a new investment hype.
There might be a chance you will be left alone waiting for that 35% that would not even come. What kind of NFT are you buying? It should have the feature of a possible long term investment.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 08, 2022, 10:15:55 AM
The Greek Freak did it again. 42 points 12 rebounds 8 assists. Great performance and becoming more of a facilitator. The Celtics did gave him a hard time to attack the paint by aiming for an offensive foul whenever he runs wild but it didn't stop him by using spin moves to create space and using his strong upper body to force his way in.
Shutting down Tatum was the first priority then everything goes their way. Good game and the ending was a bit dramatic.  Cheesy
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 07, 2022, 07:41:08 PM
With the help of Brunson to Doncic, Dallas managed to stand still in this series. If they lost the game last night, the series would come to a point that they wouldn't be able to make a comeback from. If Mavericks manage to add another superstar beside Doncic, they would become one of the strongest candidates of the title next season. For this series, I still think that they don't have much chance.
I think they have. I am not trying to underestimate the Suns but the Mavericks are showing life when it comes to the offensive end. It's just a matter of Luka Doncic providing them the ball to keep their hands hot. Finney Smith especially who had been big in shooting outside. He must receive the ball if he is clear and shoot it to gain the confidence.
But, if they will go back to the same game they did in games 1 and 2 where Luka is the focal point of everything, I am sure they will lose.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: "...all of the bitcoin in the world for $25" on: May 07, 2022, 05:33:22 PM
Warren Buffet recently made a strong declaration that he wouldn't buy all of the bitcoin in the world for $25, and it gave us a better glimpse of how he really views cryptocurrency. He went on to say that Bitcoin "doesn't multiply" and "doesn't produce anything," which is true if you think about it, except what multiplies in BTC is its value. I wonder what would make Buffet change his perception of BTC. Or maybe he's just trying to influence the crypto market for a bargain buy.
Nah, he is not in it for a bargain purchase. He is just old school and most of them stay with the traditional type of asset and investments. Golds, shares, or whatever that includes paper money. They want it physically seen or in something that is trusted. Then, there's the clubs where they could enjoy their perks of being part of the investment.
It's not really difficult to read him by all his attacks against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I would just unfollow him if I were you to avoid being fed by FUD.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 07, 2022, 08:50:09 AM
Green's contributions create that huge difference between these two teams, though it's Embiid's presence inside that

collapse the defense outside and allow those shooters to throw and make those raining 3's. It's good to see Sixers playing like this.

They are the one who did show dominance both their defense and offense though Butler try to fight, but without the productions of

Herro and Bam, they can't win it. Adjustments for the visiting team would be expected in the next upcoming games they need to play

solid to avoid Sixers to gain that momentum.
Old school Danny Green.  Wink
76ers played way different with Embiid's presence. Miami Heat's defense is not that bad but if they can space the floor with so many shooters and Embiid being a big threat for an easy two the defense will be broken. Heat will need to adjust again or come up to a solution on how they could stop the shooters and also cage Embiid to avoid him getting near the rim.

Mavs Luka Doncic may have found the solution in their problem. Ball rotation. All of a sudden the Mavs became a passing team and points where spread better unlike their past 2 games. 8 turnovers and 12 steals. Superb.
933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Potential to Drop in the $32k Area on: May 06, 2022, 06:47:55 PM
I can say I was shocked yesterday. From $39k a piece to 35k in just a matter of hours. That gave me the chills and thought about what happened. Who sold their coins? A lot of coins in hours difference.
I don't doubt Bitcoin to be back at $40k but that kind of movement scares the living shit out of me. There must be some explanation about what happened because I was kind of used to slow dumps these days.
Whoever sold it has way amount of BTC to shake the market.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know we are in the middle of a digital identity crisis? on: May 06, 2022, 12:50:07 PM
It's terrifying to click just any links, right? So why don't you put all the the information here of that project you are trying to introduce to us?
That way we could protect ourselves from whatever the hackers are trying to do with bad intentions.

But I do agree, it's like everyday there's a new email sent to me who I don't know and sometimes it goes beyond that as I receive text messages too.
I may have been a victim of email digging/mining or whatever they call it now. Well, there's no escape to it as long as you are connected to the internet.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 06, 2022, 09:35:19 AM
Still taking Memphis.  + 7 points is nuts.  Who's gonna guard ja, iggy?   Lol. GS is gonna struggle all series guarding him.  Double him and that's exactly what Memphis wants.  They led the league in offensive rebounds and points in the paint.  Golden state was in trouble as soon as GP went down and Kerr knew it.
They had been playing at close fights so I guess that's the wisest pick. Get that handicap for the Grizzlies and if ever the Warriors win, there is a high chance to still win it with covering the spread. It's not that big of a loss for them as Ja Morant made an amazing feat without Brooks.
It's more of a loss for the Warriors without GP2 as he is one of the elite when it comes to defending small guys like Ja.
This is where I want to see Wiggins be focused on defense. Can he? Let the splash brothers do the offense to preserve his energy in the defensive end against Ja.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Elon musk's buying of Twitter fueled by Jack Sweeney?? on: May 05, 2022, 06:51:34 PM
44 billion dollars just to shut down the Twitter account of the kid? What?!
Maybe he could pay someone to kill the kid for just a billion but instead he went through the trouble of paying more and he ain't even dead yet and won't stop pestering his jet. He just stopped the account or even an IP ban can be bypassed.
I doubt that's the purpose of it. There's more to it but of course its sacred. It will all be a surprise to social media but we here in crypto space might have a clue about what will happen.

This made my day. Thank you.  Grin
Number 1 is hilarious but when I went further I saw myself laughing alone. LOLA - laughing out loud alone.  Grin

Telegram group. Definitely the home base of people who cannot wait for their profits to come. I can still remember when I joined one. "When Binance?"
Almost all ICO projects have that kind of questions after reaching a small cap or hard cap.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 05, 2022, 08:42:45 AM
Zion Williamson came out today and said he was cleared to play and could have suited up in the Pelicans last game. He said his plan was to wait until game 7 to return so he could help them get to the next round and surprise everyone. Seems like a pretty juvenile plan that didn’t work out for him. Not to mention his teammates have to be pissed off that he could have helped them in game 6, but wanted to come back in dramatic fashion to be the hero that got them to the next round. Hopefully he can stay healthy this off-season so we can see him play again. He was exciting to watch, but I don’t think his career will be a long one.
And hopefully he could trim that weight to avoid more complications in his body specially the lower part. If he was there, there's a good chance they might end up in Game 7 but I doubt the Suns will just give it up, it will also be the time Booker will be at full health without minute restrictions.

Not much of an entertaining games today as both didn't end in a close game. 76ers blownout and so is the Mavericks. Could not feel the 2nd round in this teams unlike the other pair. Warriors vs Grizzlies. I am always looking forward to their games in a close match banging at each other to get a score.  Cheesy The real intensity of a playoff game.
939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: May 04, 2022, 05:33:15 PM
Nothing can tell it accurately. None, Nada. All you can do is try to look at it's environment. World economy, number of exchange and volumes, adoptions, and a lot more. In short, it's a lot of work just to connect the dots and you might not even get the right answers even if you done it all.
Just look at the exchange on how it keeps on moving every day in high amounts, that tells exactly that Bitcoin has a volatile market and those are like human perspectives on where it will go. The good thing about it is you are sure no individual is in control.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project success on: May 04, 2022, 03:24:12 PM
A complete team should be the initial need. Different people focused on different roles that were given. A good marketing strategy is also a big factor as the competition is broad it should be an inviting one to make investors purchase the product.
Clear platform, clear road map, and you should abide by it not like other new projects which keeps on delaying it or adjusting to a new date just because they cannot really do what they said, you will definitely lose a lot of support if that happens.
