941  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: April 28, 2023, 08:58:53 PM
Nice Job

The only constraint members like me might have, is that some of us use third party screenshot and image uploading apps like Sharex. These apps upload images automatically to preset sites like Imgur, So I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate your site to such apps.

How long do you plan to run this project?  You know it would be heartbreaking for the images hosted on the site that are linked to great threads in the forum to disappear after about 4-5 years when the site stops operating.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 27, 2023, 08:52:56 PM
Xavi needs to start taking the right steps to be successful in the Champions League as well. I wonder if one of these steps would be to sign Messi back in the summer. As you might have heard Messi doesn't have an intention to extend with PSG for now. Who knows maybe we can see a deal between Barcelona and him. Xavi has already given green light to reuniting with his old friend.
Messi back to Barcelona?

I don't think it's necessary, though. I don't know how their financial situation stands, but they were pretty constrained at the beginning of the campaign. In fact, if they win the la Liga, the gamble to sign various players in the last transfer window even with little money will have paid off.

Xavi can build around the existing team to achieve more next season
943  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I lost my btc after chipmixer was taken over on: April 26, 2023, 02:10:56 PM
That's a good reason. But even if they speak up and law enforcement agent arrest them, is there a means to prove that they are the real owners of the fund. I mean from the chipmixer data base.
Proof of addresses that sent the funds to the chipmixer deposit addresses

Meanwhile, I don't think that anyone is in active use of the chipmixer site because the backend is still with chipmixer, what was seized was just the front end.
I am not sure if I read right what you said, but for your information, Chipmixer was never a decentralized it service. It was centralized and the Law enforcement chaps got a hold of some of their servers and lots of data according to their report.

And nope, the backend must have also been seized, otherwise how do you explain Law enforcement draining people's Bitcoin like in OP's case?
944  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Premium Bitcoin Mixer | Launched in 2018 🛡️ on: April 26, 2023, 01:34:26 PM
yes, I said it in my previous post before, maybe they must remove that minimum on faq. Because so far, we can send at least 0.001 BTC which I think we can send also send with 0.002 BTC with a fee.

for example, if we send 0.0012, they must be including the fee because over (free mixing) 0.001.

I believe the commission fee mixing is a promotional offer which could end at anytime. The information about it is well documented in the FAQs. The user must send exactly 0.001 BTC if they want trial mixing. Not more than the stated amount.

945  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit to introduce mandatory KYC requirements starting May 8 on: April 26, 2023, 01:21:48 PM
Luckily, I moved away from using the exchange sometime back

An exchange that always asks for facial identification every time you want to withdraw your funds from your already fully verified account is not worth wasting time for. Here is my experience that made me completely stop using them -
Bybit now forcing users to carry out Facial recognition when withdrawing.
946  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does anyone know BXONE ? Need help : on: April 26, 2023, 01:13:49 PM
I crossed checked with FSA Japan and I coundn't find any bxone exchange registered with them, see: https://www.fsa.go.jp/en/regulated/licensed/en_kasoutuka.pdf
On their privacy policy

The claim they are a company incorporated in the Independent State of Samoa

Quote
1.1 BXONE (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') is a company incorporated in the Independent State of Samoa under the laws of the Independent State of Samoa, and operates the Website https://bxone.com (hereinafter referred to as 'this Website' or 'the Website'), which is a platform dedicated to the transaction of digital assets and the provision of related services (hereinafter referred to as 'the Service').

A quick search through the Samoan business registry still shows no existence of BXONE (https://www.businessregistries.gov.ws/samoa-br-companies/viewInstance/view.html?id=3729e4694cee83de20eb808637ff90e244c98e7e3d40e06dae166d4e2a4f9454&_timestamp=4774641926960885)

I have a feeling OP has been scammed, and now they need his KYC documents too
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 rewards from BTC miners - What is the angle? on: April 25, 2023, 09:57:23 PM
A small Cloud Mining page (https://www.cryptoatcost.com/)
As soon as you hear anything about cloudmining, just know it's scam.

Some actually mask themselves behind Ponzi schemes and pay out people in the first few months until new sign-ups and purchasers of the packages reduce in number and eventually exit scam.

The mining part isn't working yet: they just told current customers about the token today. I just don't see how they'll make money.
The "customers" are not making money. The scammers are making money off the customers who buy their "mining packages" and the shitcoin that has no value.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sui TokenSale on Bybit, OKX and Kucoin? on: April 25, 2023, 08:43:02 PM
SUI Sale was very unorganized, rules and conditions change almost every day. If there is a weak growth at the start of sales, this token will finally drown in a sea of hate.
Is this the same project that was trending on Twitter for not paying or airdropping from earlier testers their rewards?

I didn't go into full details about the saga, but I think I will pass this one.

Going to $1 is possible, but this usually happens in the first minute or seconds as soon as the coin is listed for trading, and after that it dumps. Very few lucky people get a chance to make quick profit. If you have quick hands, the chance could catch you.

949  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously! on: April 24, 2023, 06:48:32 PM
I'm not as tech-savvy as some of the regulars and have little idea of what reputation importing looks like, so I'd appreciate the details.

Are you referring to the dual authorization that identifies your username on Localcryptos?  Roll Eyes
If one had a trading account in Localbitcoins or paxful in the past that had good reputation (positive feedback) there is an option to import that reputation from other platforms into one's localmonero account.

They require one to add a specifically generated code to the profile of the account in the platform where you want to import the reputation from. After that one then sends them the profile link, they verify it and add the other feedback from that profile onto one's localmonero account

So far they only support Paxful and localbitcoins which is why I was suggesting them to add support for localcryptos too since I used it more than the other two platforms.

950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading without fees on: April 23, 2023, 09:36:24 PM
I know Bybit and Binance had a promotion not a long time ago,
My recent trading records show me that I was not paying for spot trading fees on Binance for the BTCUSDT trading pair until somewhere after 18th March 2023

Bybit still has zero trading fee for 3 USDT pairs and several USDC trading pairs

I believe other exchanges having similar offers are Kucoin, Gateio etc but limited to specific trading pairs.
951  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I lost my btc after chipmixer was taken over on: April 23, 2023, 08:57:39 PM
I didn't commit a crime, it's just for privacy, so is there any way to recover my btc Embarrassed Embarrassed
Those guys don't care if you just did it for privacy. They are feeling bad that you didn't want them to snoop onto your transactions. Consider the BTC gone. There's nothing much you can do at this moment to try to recover the coins

Actually this is my first time seeing someone said he lost coins due to the seizure of ChipMixer. I was really telling my friend days ago the advantage of mixers over exchanges even if they don't serve the same purpose.
I was telling him assuming it was an exchange that was siezed, people by now would have been crying of fund lost.
Maybe the victims of the seizure won't speak up because they fear being targeted by the law enforcement.
952  Other / Meta / Re: Scam accusation of a gambling site on: April 23, 2023, 06:40:19 PM
If we are to go by the logic. Then It also means scam ICO's and tokens should have their scam accusations posted in the Altcoin discussion board?
Scam services, should their scam accusations posted in the services board?
Scam HYIPs and Ponzi schemes should have their scam accusations posted in the Investor-based games board?
Scam exchanges should have their scam accusations posted in the exchanges board?

Then what exactly would be the point of the scam accusations board?

I think it's all about organization here. I don't want to head over in the gambling board looking for threads made by different casinos about the services they offer only to see scam accusations about 1xbit covering half the page.
953  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Premium Bitcoin Mixer | Launched in 2018 🛡️ on: April 23, 2023, 06:24:59 PM
Another observation.

I don't know if I saw this right but, the minimum bitcoins to be mixed is different in the FAQs (0.005 BTC) as compared to the mixing page (0.003 BTC)

Some correction is required either in the FAQs section mixing page.
954  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ok247trade.com scammers on: April 22, 2023, 09:56:31 PM
Another giveaway. Under "about Us"  they claim they are located in Germany.

but on the footer of the website, the information indicates that their address is in the UK  Grin

955  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously! on: April 22, 2023, 09:10:01 PM

Oops, fixed, thanks!
Could we please have an option to import reputation from Localcryptos as well before the site completely shuts down?

How about a dark/night mode option? I think it would come in handy for traders who are always glued to the platform
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WARNING] Unknown Exploit Drained Over $10M in past 5 months on: April 22, 2023, 08:28:07 PM
The article also mentions that wallets between 2014 and 2022, however, was Ethereum not created until 2015?
As far as I know the idea of Ethereum was conceived in 2013 and then somewhere in 2014 Ethereum coins went on sale (ICO)

Remember during that time people had to create wallets and addresses in order to redeem the Ethereum the bought once the network went live later on.

$10 million is very little compared to the size of the entire network. currently the capitalization of ETH exceeds $200 billion, this makes this attack only 0.005% of the network. I doubt it's detectable as the accounts are old and the size of the attack is small. I don't think it's some major system bug threatening the entire network.
Maybe the attacker is targeting specific addresses that we generated using some software back then that have that specified vulnerability he knows about. Maybe that's why the pool is small and he's taking his time.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspended NEBL Withdrawals on: April 22, 2023, 07:54:27 PM
I know that i can withdraw it to Neblio network but the problem is that MEXC has suspended the NEBL Network but only enabled the BSC Network.
Don't know why exchanges are doing this  Huh
To be honest, yesterday I checked MEXC app before suggesting the exchange here. It was though the deposit for the native network had not been suspended yet. Perhaps, I was not just keen enough.

I believe there is a concern with the coin in general. Most of the exchanges seemed to have suspended the Neblio deposit wallet, while others are delisting it. Just be very vigilant.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspended NEBL Withdrawals on: April 21, 2023, 09:57:13 PM
Why not just withdraw the coin using the Neblio network into your custodial wallet first?
The fee is even much lower than on the BNB shit chain.

You could also use MEXC exchange, they have the NEBL network option as well for deposits and the exchange is almost similar to Bitget.

Also, if the system cannot handle some kind of transaction, such a thing would have to be disabled when creating the request.
More like generating a new address whenever an incoming transaction is detected in an old one?

I only want to know how long it will take.
That's a heck of a long time to just resolve such a simple issue. Have you tried to contact their rep profile in this forum like I suggested in the reply earlier on?
I see they were active on 17th April.
960  Other / Bitcoin Wiki / Re: Request edit privileges here on: April 20, 2023, 09:44:42 PM
I still wonder why people keep asking for edit privillage here. This thread is long dead and no one observes it any more

If anyone wants, edit privileges. They should read here;

Admins do not regularly read this forum.

If you need to reach us, I recommend using the #bitcoin-wiki channel on freenode IRC

or they could just post what they want to be edited in this thread - The Bitcoin Wiki Modernization Project - request changes and edits here

How I wish mods could just lock this thread.
