941  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 17, 2017, 10:15:31 PM
I think people are saying it's gambling in the sense that the currency fluctuates a lot, and you cannot more or less reliably predict the trend. Other than that, it doesn't have anything at all to do with gambling, it just another currency and another form of investing.
The people who invest in anything which are new to the  market are taking a big gamble as it could fail big time and in a sense it is a gamble to put money in an investment which is not backed by any fair market rules and regulations,no doubt it is a crypto currency and so is the reason it is a big gamble, people has made a healthy profit investing in it,but its another story.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly a third of people think bitcoin will collapse in the next six months on: November 17, 2017, 07:51:45 PM
The studies that are conducted are not concrete and mostly they are looking at peoples opinion and there is no fact to back their findings rather than saying it would collapse in a six months which is really hard to believe ,i am not sure how the things would be a couple of years from now,but i am sure it wont crash in six months time.
943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 17, 2017, 07:36:49 PM
I have never seen such a resistance point before, but for the third time it touched $ 8,000 and the price dropped again. There are huge sales.
It is not a new thing to see the price of bitcoin not able to cross the resistance level,if you look in the past the price was really struggling to go past $1000 for a very long time and it took a while to breach that resistance point and when only last December we started seeing bitcoin crossing every resistance with ease.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: November 16, 2017, 11:03:08 PM
Many countries are coming out to curb the billion dollar ICO industry and even though they are trying to ban these sort of crowd funding majority of the ICO funding are still coming from Asian countries, even if they ban these sort of funding, people will always find a way to keep the ball running and there is nothing they can do about it.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending Bitcoin These Days on: November 16, 2017, 09:29:12 PM
The more we use bitcoins, the more widely bitcoins will be accepted, and the faster bitcoin will grow. I do exactly this - purchase with bitcoins if possible, and then buy back the same amount in fiat. The difference in price between just buying in fiat is usually negligible, and I know that I am helping to spread bitcoin.
With the current transaction charges i am not confortable to spend my bitcoins or even bother to transfer from exchanges now a days because it is a pain for the ages to get one confirmation and hence i am not happy to spend my coins until the network issue is sorted out and i am sure that is the case with everyone and the more we use bitcoin wont make it widely acceptable ,lower transaction fees and faster confirmation will attract people into bitcoin.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: CAN BITCOIN CROSS $10K BY DECEMBER? on: November 16, 2017, 09:18:50 PM
It is hard to predict the price of bitcoin,a week ago it looked like a big correction is going to happen and now the price has recovered a lot and going to touch new boundaries ,it looks like the network struggle is not an issue now but it looked like it would drag the price down a week ago,it is really confusing for me on what to expect now.
947  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: November 14, 2017, 10:02:26 PM
No,  cryptocurrencies cannot be use offline.  You need to convert it first before you can use it. Regular currency is better because you can use it anytime anywhere.
How about international transfer ,do you think it is easy to send fiat currency so easily like we can with crypto currency. Tongue There are many coins with much lower transaction fees and you can send them within a minute anywhere in the world,so everything has its pros and cons, make use what is best in a given situation.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google results show more people searching for Bitcoin than gold on: November 14, 2017, 09:30:54 PM
The goolge search does not give you anything different, gold is a known commodity for centuries  and no one searches about it online and since bitcoin is a new form of currency and people would search about it a lot since the price of bitcoin is rising and people will be interested to get to know about it and google is the search platform.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is mining the number 1 problem of Bitcoin right now? on: November 14, 2017, 09:18:55 PM
I would say yes, mining and miners are the problem for Bitcoin. To much power and speculation potential is placed in the hands of few people or group of people and that can cause big problems with time and make Bitcoin weak. It's not something that couldn't be solved but some will and consensus within the community is needed.
It is true that more power is placed into the hands of a few individuals and so is the reasons we are seeing these sort of manipulation and there is nothing we can do and the funny part is everyone is talking about decentralized bitcoin but mining is centralized, the major issue is that the block size limit is one major factor, something has to be done in order to sort these issues

951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: with bitcoin can I get an island? on: October 11, 2017, 10:10:25 PM
If you are wealthy and have the right pocket then you can buy anything and the only hurdle is for the seller to accept bitcoin ,but i wonder why get an island where you wont get anything,it is just a shit place to be in the first place when there is nothing happening,so why bother spending your money just like that. Roll Eyes
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Once again,BTC is back on: October 09, 2017, 09:39:30 PM
It natural. Bitcoin price always pumps and dumps. But Bitcoin is the king of the crypto world. No one can stop Bitcoin. Although Bitcoin price was the dump for China's ban. But it pumps again.
There are market fluctuations but you cannot see the market movements as a simple pump and dump scheme, you could find those similarities with some coins in the crypto currency market which is pumped and dumped hard, but bitcoin is not meant for that, most of the traders are afraid and most of the time the market goes down simply because of fake news and nothing else.

954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: October 06, 2017, 12:01:13 AM
Yes bitcoin will survive and sustain all those crisis and threats from bankers who feels insecure looking at the growth of bitcoin.
The main crisis of bitcoin is not from bankers,i am not aware of any threats from them, the main issue is within the community as every one has their own opinion and some are over ruled by ego,so it is hard to predict the exact future of bitcoin we see at the moment, but over all it is positive as there is competition and the best coin will win.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: a little worries..!! on: October 05, 2017, 09:47:32 PM
if there is war between KOREA NORTH and AMERICA will be bad for bitcoin.?
Any war has economic liabilities but it wont hurt the entire global economy unless every country is into it,since you have mentioned just two countries there wont be any liabilities if a war breaks out and obviously it wont affect bitcoin,i am sure the tensions are high but there wont be any war because North Korea has nuclear war heads and their leader is unpredictable to the outside word and so the US wont attack them just like that.

957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can't bring bitcoin down! on: October 02, 2017, 11:50:23 PM
Nobody can stop money, not just bitcoin.. everybody wants to earn money in here, and cryptocurrencies are a perfect way to earn easy money, that is why all people (doesnt matter if they are from china or anywhere else) would not give up easy because of a country trying to ban it. Obviously that if the governments try to shut down cryptos, they can do it, but they need it to do it in a complot.
The flow of money can be regulated with rules and regulations and that is what we are seeing in the crypto currency platform too, most of the countries are banning ICO to stop the flow of money into those projects which has no legal backing, crypto currencies is a perfect platform to make a good amount of money, but you need to understand the market and play accordingly to make profit.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Goes down after a tweet by Charlie Lee on: September 12, 2017, 11:44:33 PM
I think this is a risk, almost all cryptocurrency prices go down and I'm sure everything will be fine right away.
The entire market is down and it might take some time to recover, the news coming out is not positive for traders and new projects and hope it will recover in due time,i am at a big loss with some of my investments earlier this year and i was adament enough to hold for a longer time and now my profit has reduced to half,i am waiting for the green market so that i could book my profits.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: September 10, 2017, 11:54:44 PM
the possibility is always present in bitcoin because bitcoin development continues to increase at any time, even with increasingly successful countries adopting bitcoin certainly contributes greatly to bitcoin progress. perhaps before 2022 bitcoin users have reached 50% of the world's population.
It is really difficult to reach fifty percent of the world population at a very short time, there are many real life hurdles to overcome for everyone to start using bitcoin or any form of alt coin in the first place and until those hurdles are taken care of,we wont be able to see half of the world using it in such a short span in 2022.
960  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: September 10, 2017, 11:40:28 PM
If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.
It is easier said and done,if you have invested your hard earned money into the crypto market you would panic if the market turns red because you never know how the market will end up at the end and it might burn a hole right into your pocket and so is the reason people are panicing when they see the market goes down.
