The matter about google indexing instawallet's pages was brought up on Torwallet's thread, yes. Here is Davout saying it doesn't matter: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=87387.msg979815#msg979815As rjk said, if you keep your url safe (not post it anywhere online) google can't find it.
I gave an example. The right person will understand this. Assertion 1 : Your search yields approximately 19 URLs. There are over 250,000 different wallets at Instawallet. Assertion 2 : Google does not magically index hidden wallet URLs. Make your conclusions.

Instawallet has been leaking wallet URLs to Google making them fully indexed/searchable. Absolutely devastating security hole. I can't see ever trusting them again: http://www.adaptiveglass.com/?p=656I feel like I knew about this a long time ago somehow. Did this happen before? It did. They said it was because it created a new wallet when google bot visted them. Very quick to write it off. I'll try and search the thread later. Great lolz will follow

Due to the never ending rise on the Bitcoin price we are forced to lower rewards for videos to 5,000 Satoshis. The good news are that you can now earn 10% of other users earnings if you use your Affiliate link to send us new users. We also raised the captcha reward to 300 Satoshis, from the previous 100 Satoshis.

I just hope you backed up your wallet before starting to delete things with pywallet. Remember, always work with backups.

with the kitty so large, I think that it would be a good service to make it required that the code is released, with an open-source friendly licence. Why not "donate" a paid developer to one of the existing open-source projects? I'm sure phpbb or smf would love a full-time dev working there, adding interesting features, or addons, to their platform.

The address 17hzeZ8gKwLAHASyh85S5FSNYAFsexPAyk never got any bitcoins sent into it. That transaction never happened, as far as the network is concerned. Do you still have the wallet.dat from where you sent that transaction? If you do have it, you may delete the failed transaction(3ea177ce0db93b9bbbdc2286f5ca08e038a364db704205250d253d704a67d6a1) from it using pywaltet and be able to spend the coins again, in a new transaction. Ofcourse, without knowing where did the coins came from we can't tell you if they're still there to spend, or if it was a double spend or something else.

Just install the new one on top of it and you should be good to go. It will take some hours converting the blockchain to the new format, but then you're golden, I think

Just got my 2 coins today. Great packaging, included invoice, etc. Trying to find the will to take some pics.
Don't force the will Nah, it's just that my cellphone battery is dead and I need to charge it before taking the pics And need to rest my brain a bit. Bitcoin going up like this is a bit brain-damaging

Yeah, and we also tripled the captcha reward, to 300 Satoshis for each correctly resolved captcha! I messed up the affiliate system, and for some hours affiliate ID's weren't being registered in the database, so I'll keep the captcha reward up for the next week, to remind me of how silly I am.

in your bitcoin.conf file insert and restart bitcoin-qt Thanks for the help Psy, having a look, looks like the latest version stores that somewhere else on OSX, checking this out at as I'm not finding the config file just at the moment. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_BitcoinYou could also set the language on start from the command line. Just append to the normal command to start bitcoin-qt Also, the OSX data dir is ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/ https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory

Nothing unusual about it. Just wait until it confirms, which it will, sooner or later, I guess.

Kind of hard to tell you anything without at least the transaction ID.

First Jeff Garzik says to the WSJ: "We want to work with authorities". Now Mike Hearn with this post. Can I say these 2 dudes are now officially creeping me out without you guys calling me paranoid?
