961  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: January 30, 2018, 03:07:53 PM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

The worst thing I did from Bitcoin was I was able to spend it just to eat at a fancy dinning restaurant. If I had just kept those Bitcoins and save it, I would have been a millionaire by now.
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC Plans to Regulate Cryptocurrencies, ICOs on: January 29, 2018, 06:03:10 PM
The Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission said on Monday it is crafting rules to regulate cryptocurrency transactions to protect investors and reduce the risk of fraud.

The regulation, which will cover issuance and registration of cryptocurrencies, is expected to be finalized this year, said Emilio Aquino, SEC commissioner in charge of enforcement and investor protection, according to Reuters.>>> Link for the source https://t.co/QnDpl32hXo

I hope they would just regulate and would not come to the time that they will ban it for good, this is the only way I could live my life and it is through gaining such high amount of money from cryptocurrencies.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: January 29, 2018, 05:28:16 PM
This is not an ordinary "price" swing.  The end is near for legacy Bitcoin.

Nope, $10,000 is a super high price now for Bitcoin stay in and accumulate, eventually it will go up higher than that and maybe the world will be a panic of buying it and not selling it.
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: January 29, 2018, 12:58:52 PM
I have already lost 1/4 of my investment in bitcoin. what can you suggest? should I continue n holding bitcoin or should I just sell it to cut my losses? I eagerly need your help on these one, specially to those people who has experience in trading.

This is just a part of a huge corrections, Bitcoins price will eventually go back up when the right time comes, so just relax. Why you're at it, try to buy some cheap coins, there are so many of them right now, eventually you'll recover your losses.
965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do in this Dip on: January 29, 2018, 11:58:16 AM
At moment i have a large list of coins. most i had bought at prices low, while some i am taking a loss at moment.
with recent dips going on. some are below, as its now a buyers market
should i still eventually invest in more BTC? ETH and LTC

should i sell off some alt coins and re buy at a lower price, since everything is still falling?
thoughts?
thanks

There are more cheap and good coins to buy. You just have to do your research and find that kind of coin that you will believe in. Probably I will try to invest in EOS since they have wonderful tech inside.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miss Bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 10:00:21 AM
What happens if someone loses their bitcoin? Let's imagine that I buy 10,000,000 bitcoin for example. Does the system need to re-create those money?

If you do not have the way to recover it through you secret seed or something let us just say good bye to your lost Bitcoins forever. And it will be a waste of supply.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to 3rd world countries on: January 29, 2018, 09:33:24 AM
What do you think is the future of bitcoin to these kind of countries which is the poor ones ?
Is bitcoin can be useful for the citizens ?
What would be the government's approach to this kind of currency?

I am currently in the place of a third world country, but doing something for crypto is definitely okay, it is just up to you if you want to adapt it and try to understand the technology behind it.

971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a Recession on: January 10, 2018, 06:08:18 AM
There are good arguments on both sides:

People value something tangible and will sell bitcoin for fiat, in order to buy things, or will sell it for gold since it's tangible, dropping the price of bitcoin.

People are looking for a safe asset and will buy bitcoin because it is scarce, thus driving the price up.

I think for now there will be no stabled price for Bitcoin, we all just know that Bitcoin's Price won't last at a low price and will eventually go up anytime. So stay tuned.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: January 08, 2018, 09:21:22 AM
Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.

Yes, I have borrowed almost 70% of what I have now just to start investing in cryptocurrency. I have borrowed that money from my mother and promised her that I will be a millionaire someday with this.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: January 07, 2018, 12:59:01 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

I would also do that, but I will just tell her/him about that if the right time comes to at place when they will be able to understand of what I can explain to them.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: January goal: Own one complete BTC. :) on: January 06, 2018, 08:10:18 AM

I would like to have a lot of Bitcoins this year, if not, I should have earn as much for it.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: January 05, 2018, 09:31:49 AM
We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?

I have a great feeling that somehow Bitcoin may have a steady price where every altcoin needs to catch on.

What happens if someone loses their bitcoin? Let's imagine that I buy 10,000,000 bitcoin for example. Does the system need to re-create those money?

If you lost that kind of Bitcoins, the result would be losing that kind of amount forever and I think no one could recover it.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Investment Type do you Prefer??? on: January 02, 2018, 05:43:01 AM
There are so many investment program existing out there and i want to here the pulse of the people where they would prefer to invest and why. so other people here may knew that they can earn in different forms and different ways in online world.

Types of investments

1. Gambling - Chances to earn big in just an hour
2. Tradings - Need proper learnings and monitoring tp avoid lose.
3. Hyips - Ponzi Scheme And risky
4. Crownfunding - earn by gh and ph.

Which do you prefered investment above do you see  you can earn and why.

Would still recommend on trying to join on campaigns and by trading. It makes your brain work more on financial systems.
978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: January 01, 2018, 11:03:55 AM
Bitcoin dominance is below 40%

Other altcoins gain dominance.

What do you think? It will correct like last year? I think we're going to have a big correction next days in altcoins price and market cap caused by an increase in btc price. But It will only recover 10-15% of dominance, not all.

Well, Bitcoin can't be the only one surging its price, some other altcoin needs to gain up somehow. It is really good that it happened for Bitcoin to become healthy.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: December 31, 2017, 06:35:30 AM

980  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are Faucets Useful Now? on: December 27, 2017, 07:22:22 AM
With the bitcoin value sky rocketing, have faucets become useful and worth the time spent now?
And not only bitcoin faucets but altcoin faucets too, I think with such high value of every coin in terms of dollars, faucets can no longer be considered as a wastage of time.
What do you think?

Yes, faucets are very useful now, you'll be just surprise when the price turns 1 usd per 1 satoshi someday.
