961  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5g Dual Sim Android Phone with additional microSD slot recommendations? on: December 03, 2020, 05:30:05 PM
I bought the Huawei P40 lite E for £130, andit is great, dual sim and SD card in a single tray. It's 4G, but I think there is a 5G version for a bit more.

But can you use two sims and an SD card at the same time? Seems not according to this: https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p40_lite_e-10112.php (though as I mentioned before they're not always accurate).

The Huawei P40 lite 5G also seems to be a shared slot and I don't think it accepts SD cards but Huawei's own 'nano memory' cards: https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p40_lite_5g-10236.php

~
Don't really wanna spend more than £500.
Haven't heard about this brand for a long time but this showed up in my news feed Nokia 8.3 5G

Priced around £500
Dual Sim
Dedicated card slot

Full specs https://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_8_3_5g-10142.php

Thanks. That actually looks quite nice. Currently £350 on sale which looks to be great value: https://www.very.co.uk/nokia-83nbsp5gnbsp64gb-polar-night/1600524145.prd?sku=sku22909437

Or £399 direct from Nokia with some accessories: https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_gb/seasonaloffers

I used to be a big fan of Nokia back in the day and had multiple of their devices over the years, but unfortunately I'm not sure if it's got a dedicated SD slot, or maybe there's different versions as you can see in this review: https://youtu.be/ISjAJnJtbu0?t=231

GSM arena isn't always accurate on their specs. I actually bought the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G but it's not actually dual sim with a dedicated SD slot as they stated: https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_10t_lite_5g-10480.php

It's a very good phone for the price though. I might actually sell it though as I could probably make a little of money on it and just wait for a phone that meets all my requirements. Mi seems to release a lot of phones and quite cheaply so maybe they'll do a dedicated dual sim one eventually.

They don't seem to have been reported.

Hilariousandco, are you kind, please, to check also my 3 deleted posts? Thank you in advance.

None on you either. Maybe someone reported somebody else's thank you post and then a mod just deleted the others they saw but I can't see any reports on any threads containing raffle. Maybe message malevolent and the other globals like mprep and rickbig.

965  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this deleted? on: November 30, 2020, 11:55:10 AM
I didn't delete it but there's a handful of reports, handled and unhandled, for double posting and a couple for undeleted bumps.

Include your CV to back up your opinions with your thousands of hours of moderation experience.
You get paid for the number of posts your moderate (delete). :-P

Not strictly true, there are several factors involved but the biggest one is the number of reports you handle, not really just deleting posts unless the report involved that.
966  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: November 30, 2020, 10:06:18 AM
Theymos should make reference links mandatory for negative trust.

Wouldn't matter. They'd just leave a link to anything.

One of them has already posted retaliatory feedback:

hilariousandco    2020-11-29        Seems to think he's employed me to do something. Abuse of the feedback system (and not the first time I've noticed).

(Which is not the first time this particular user has done so either)

...and this just in ...

A second DT trust abuse has just occurred against minerjones:

(Not to mention their retaliatory trust feedback abuse against minerjones:

Quote
malevolent    2020-11-30        Poor reading comprehension skills. Fails to understand what a regular forum moderator can and cannot do.

How is that trust abuse? It's funny how you don't seem to mind abusing it in a dishonest way in the exact same fashion. You're clearly biased and are doing it in an attempt to smear people you don't like because it's funny how you haven't left theymos negative for the exact same thing including his "transphobic" April's fool joke (joke being the keyword there but obviously satire goes over idiots' heads). MinerJones should be distrusted by everyone right now because he's clearly trying to use the trust system to extort staff to get his own way. Is that what the system is for? No. If someone wants to get staff attention then create a thread in Meta like most people do. Is this going to become common practice to leave a negative feedback everytime something goes unanswerd or unhandled?

A second DT trust abuse has just occurred against minerjones:

I wouldn't call that Trust abuse.
From Trust settings:
Quote
List the users who you trust to have good trust ratings and good trust lists
I consider excluding users who leave bad ratings proper use of the Trust system.

Exactly. TimeLord's a hypocritical idiot. It's seemingly perfectly fine for him to do the exact same thing, but it's only trust abuse when someone he dislikes does it. MinerJones has just admitted he is using the system in an attempt to be heard and that certainly makes him untrustworthy in my opinion.
967  Other / Meta / Re: Where to Post? on: November 28, 2020, 08:36:11 AM
Goods.

I don't know how it's going to be related to bitcoin since you are going to accept transactions via foreign currency?
Might accept Bitcoins if they prefer to pay Bitcoins  Cheesy
But I still doubt there would be such due to high fees, anyways just trying our luck to sell in this forum Tongue

Thanks for now, but would really appreciate if a mod would give their opinion so they can save a lil bit of time and energy Smiley

You will need to accept bitcoins if you want to list it in the bitcoin marketplace.
968  Other / Meta / Re: Are fine artworks in European museums deemed “NSFW” by forum rules? on: November 28, 2020, 07:36:41 AM
I didn't remove it but ask yourself this: would that artwork or something like it belong in the workplace, or would you feel comfortable looking at a picture like that at work? I doubt it. Just because something is 'art' or in a museum doesn't mean it's SFW.
969  Other / Meta / Re: [help] daily 2 p.m. limit? on: November 27, 2020, 11:13:46 AM
I whitelisted you. Not sure how many PMs that allows you though. Maybe Junior Member levels. Maybe report back on how many it gives you so we know for future.
970  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to unblock an account? on: November 27, 2020, 11:10:40 AM
I unblocked the account with a sig ban. If you prove yourself to be a worthwhile member and/or receive a decent bit of merit I will consider removing it at some point.

Thanks a lot frends!
Can I use my account as before?
What are the limits to me?
I will try to do everything  to be a worthwhile member

With respect  to bitcointalk and its community

Yes, it just has a signature ban. You can post as normal otherwise.

I don't like samsung phones so much, this one struck me instead, it seems to me a good one Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G CN Version

Never had a Samsung but according to the following the Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G uses shared SIM slot (unless the CN version is different): https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_10x_5g-10266.php
973  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5g Dual Sim Android Phone with additional microSD slot recommendations? on: November 26, 2020, 02:00:27 PM
You can't have it all it seems.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has all the features (including 1TB capacity) you want except the dual sim with extra slot for microSD card.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G lets you use 3 SIMs, or 2 SIMs and a microSD card "but you will only be able to keep the eSIM and SIM slot 1 active at the same time".

Asus Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro are both dual sims with dedicated slot for microSD card but I don't know the capacity.

Asus Zenfone 7 phone seems to meet the main requirements but it's a little big and pretty pricey. Doesn't seem to be available in the UK though but there's a few Amazon sellers but it's going for £700-900 which is far too much. Don't really wanna spend more than £500. Think I paid less than £200 for my current phone. Maybe I should drop the dual sim idea.

975  Other / Off-topic / 5g Dual Sim Android Phone with additional microSD slot recommendations? on: November 26, 2020, 10:39:37 AM
Looking for suggestions for a new phone.

Must be:

Android
5G
Dual sim
With additional micro SD slot (minimum 500gb capacity but preferably 1TB).

Currently got a P30 Lite and it's perfectly fine and I like the design and weight of it, but you can only use one sim if you're using a micro SD card. The phone also apparently only takes SD cards up to 500gb as well but haven't checked if it accepts 1tb cards yet.

Current phone and dimensions are below and would like something of a similar build and weight (nothing too heavy or large):

976  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: November 24, 2020, 10:29:15 AM
I'm sure most of us are ok with £25. I'll still wait a month or so before I collect money in.

I'm not bringing up the subject again because I'm currently in first position (it's probably not going to last long), but when are we going to pay ?
I haven't given my opinion yet, but of course I'm OK to pay the £25.

I'll probably take money in by next month. I'll keep it to £25 in bitcoin so don't worry about the price as that's what everyone seemed to agree on.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 21, 2020, 06:37:01 PM
Did you guys see that?  It's getting ridiculous.  VAR should just be removed from the sport competely.  The players celebrated the goal, the fans celebrated the goal then the ref decides to remove the goal?  It's destroying the game.  IMHO.

Wait til the fans come back...

What goal and what fans?
978  Other / Meta / Re: Why so strict on members on: November 21, 2020, 10:58:52 AM
There's 40 of your posts reported for spam/one liners so I'm guessing that's why. Put more effort into your posts upon your return and you should be good.

Why aren't you posting from your main account?

It is unclear to me why my post, "The Crypto-investor Manifesto", was deleted, based on this moderation policy.

What was the content? I can see it's been reported as spam however.
