961  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock! 270 satoshi guaranteed, unlim multiply. We have payed more than $1010! on: June 14, 2014, 08:30:05 AM
Just found amazing ad block created by some user on faucet site - http://adbit.co/ads/I8A8QQA6ETRXN.gif.

Looks really great and attractive!

The only thing that there is old data, same as on btcrock.biz site.
And there is no solution for .gif Sad, but possible for flash by passing vars.

Hi,

it's my job  Wink, actually it was first moving banner I made. I'm glad you like it.
I didn't update it since I use your banners. but if you want I can do it, it not so big effort.

What software did you use to do it?
It looks awesome!

I just made layout in Inkscape. Then export about 11 pictures (frames) by hiding, showing layers (to keep items in proper position).
And finally put them into "slideshow" using GIMP.

But it's totally ammaterish work, and banner file is too big. I'm pretty sure there is a better way  Wink
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ASIC coin list? on: June 13, 2014, 12:53:13 PM
Where do I get the an up-to-date list of ASIC supported coins?

I have searched Google but can't find a current list anywhere.

Thanks,

look like you have mess in vocabularies.

ASIC (aplication specific intergrated circuit) is piece of hardware

SHA & Scrypt is princip of coding (algorythm)
there are also other types
N-Scrypt (mine using GPU) X-11 (mine with CPU)

coinchoose.com is indeed a nice list of various coins

most ASICs  are made for solving SHA .. check this list https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
963  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin same-day? on: June 13, 2014, 12:33:00 PM
Localbitcoins for sure. If you find user with account in same bank then it's matter of minutes.
964  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin God??? on: June 13, 2014, 08:00:46 AM
Not god, but is good  Wink

If something, then Satoshi Nakamoto would be god, and bitcoin is just garden of eden.

Welcome aboard,

good exchage depends on your location. US, or out of US?
I'm in EU and can recommend you localbitcoins, just check for trusted sellers and you can have btc in 15 minutes.

I am in the US. The local thing sounds like a good way to go. I hate giving my id and personal details for everything. Thanks!

yeah, thats exactly what you have to do at most of exchanges. try localbitcoins. I dont know how in US, but here is lot of local traders.

its reallty simple, just find a seller, trusted one. better someone with same bank, which makes it really fast.
Check, or wait, if he is on line, fill in how much you want to buy, and you have 90 minutes to agreed on details of payment via private chat, then pay or you can cancel trade.

it's just kind of escrow, they block his BTC (fixed price) and in you confirm payment, he can only release them to you, after he check his account.

Hi,

recently I made my first significant trade here on bitcointalk and would like to provide confidence to my future partners.
So please leave a word (good or back) about trade experience with me.

Thanks

I use ARMORY (bitcoinarmory.com), mainly because of it's simple design.

972  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie on: June 09, 2014, 05:21:25 AM
I'm just getting started with bitcoins after someone at my site introduced me to them. I tried mining but my computer is to weak.So I started investing I've made aprox. .0006 BTC but I've only been doing it for a week or two. So what I'm asking is do y'all have any advice for me.

work for it  Wink

1. offer some of your skills

try
http://bitgigs.com
http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4bitcoins
https://coinality.com/
http://bittask.com/

2.  sell things

3. earn by Signature-Ad Campaign
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

Otherwise you have to scam others for BTC.

We have updated gold field game - so there is no reload page while replaying

works great ... I lost half of my balance in few seconds Cheesy
974  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst captcha on: June 05, 2014, 07:50:46 PM
There are some nicer Captcha-likes, but they're usually media-heavy and charge for use. They'll have you do something like drag and drop pictures of cats. Simpler alternatives do something like cycle through (or non-obscure) questions relevant to the content of the particular service, but this only works if they're really obscure and not worth spammers' time to figure out and create a table for. Easier-for-human stereoscopic text images may also be effective (interestingly, you can unfocus your eyes if you don't have stereoscopic glasses and still be able to see in 3D), but that's one of those security-through-obscurity things, too.

yes, I like areyouahuman.com captchas ....  put ingredients on pizza, park the car, refresh athlete .... it's kind a fun, and solving with mouse is convenient.
I understabd it's hard to outwit automaded scripts developers and geeks but some captchas are gone too far
975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most expensive thing, you have bought with Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2014, 06:25:53 PM
I spent 10000 bitcoins to buy a pizza some years ago... not Grin
The only "things" I have bought are the alt cryptos and the most expensive one was the "42 coin".

I bet you mean the famous 10 000 BTC pizza bought in 2010 by laszlo  Wink (original thread: Pizza for bitcoins?)

to OP question, only physical thing I bought is printer, cost me 0.08 BTC, but far more I spent for renting an ad space
976  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst captcha on: June 04, 2014, 04:16:24 AM

That's one site I will never be able to sign up on, lol
Maybe use the audio feature? Roll Eyes

I think that you need to be on some kind of recreational drug to make sense of that CAPTCHA Huh

isn't this one of those 3D pictures?? you should stare in it for while from close distance and then you see the code?

those pictures never worked for me, so I can't tell.
977  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 22x Gridseed 5-chip Miner setup [EU] on: June 03, 2014, 07:22:06 PM

979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin blockchain on: June 02, 2014, 07:52:05 PM
nice rig  Wink

roughly you can check GPU consumption on https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison or https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

but to be precise you really need multimeter, e.g. kill-a-watt

thank you Wusolini
i really appreciate your help  Smiley

no problemo Wink, I like to help others if I can
980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is cloud mining with PBmining.com profitable ??? on: June 02, 2014, 04:44:18 PM
I found one thread on other forum where OP caims "pure profit" but he started in January so it took him 5 months (still good for 5y contract)

but who know, maybe he profits from his referals  Grin
