Sweet!
If this allows for overclocking that would be great.
Did the drop off and under performance stop on the Gridseed units now that you have been able to get one in hand?
BFG has always run them slower that other progs.

Thank you very much to X-Hash and GridSeed for providing a G-Blade for development. Support for this device (as well as the HEX16A2) will be coming ASAP.

Your welcome.
It is a good coin with an excellent concept and person behind it.
I look forward to your next coins.  Smiley

I got the article published today.
I hope you all enjoy it and support BigTimeSpaghetti in this.

With all the news about how people lost their money with MtGox and the ongoing madness with it I saw, a while back, a concept for the Goxxed For The Last Time a (Commiserative) Coin.

Goxxed For The Last Time, A Fall of MtGox (commiserative) Coin
Goxxed For The Last Time, A Fall of MtGox (commiserative) Coin
The coin is a commiserative coin created by Jonny (BigTimeSpaghetti) to commemorate the fall of MtGox.com and its effect on us all. MtGox, the “Bitcoin exchange” that is currently in bankruptcy caused by the loss of millions, has brought back the need to be careful of where you keep your Bitcoins. Mark Karpeles and his shady history did not  make them people think twice about trusting their bitcoins to MtGox. Now we have exchanges proving their solvency and working to be more transparent to assure people that they will not lose their bitcoins. The Goxxed coin brings a bit of solidarity to the MtGox disaster.

They are great coins.  I cannot wait to see what he has up his sleeve for his next coin.

Thanks for the article Scott :-)

I will check out the log.
Thanks for the hard work.
I am sorry I missed the chat today I am not doing well.

The full log from web chat is available on history page of nastyfans.org.

As I mention in the web chat nastyfans.org may be down in the evening of 3 June. Our ISP will do some infrastructure maintenance.

I am on vacation at this time and will not be able to check if there are server problems. Today I rebooted nastyfans.org twice to make sure all services come up on boot. Usually the ISP does not need to reboot the server but sometimes they do.
966  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: June 01, 2014, 08:41:05 PM
Probably a dumb question but I will ask anyways.
I want to change pools but leave the one I already have as a backup.
Is there not a button or selection setting for which of the pools I want as my main pool?
The recent updates are great by the way.
Each one is making it easier to use and more useful.
Also is the Map option supposed to show where you are or your pool??

I thought I was going nuts.
Luckily I do not have any BF1 devices on that system.  I am just updating now I will test and let you know how it goes.
Thanks again Nate.  I really thought I had lost my mind.  LOL

It will not find my HexFury's, BiFurys, or RedFury's.
I am so dam confused.

There will be a fix for this in 3.0.3. It will still require some physical work though from the user.

The problem is that, in order for MultiMiner to detect both SHA and Scrypt ASICs, it must run BFGMiner twice. When the Bigpic (BF1 / Red Fury / Blue Fury) is probed as virtually anything but Bigpic, it stops responding.

This is not really a "bug" that can be fixed in BFGMiner. It's a known limitation. Some ASICs just do not provide a way to say "hey, what are you??". In that case you have to go through devices and say "are you A? no, are you B? no, are you C?".

And some devices, like Bigpic, just stop responding if you do this. And by adding a scan for devices with the --scrypt argument (necessary to pick up Scrypt ASICs) in one of the 3.0 previews, this effectively disables the BF1.

So, 3.0.3 will scan for SHA devices first, then Scrypt. This means (in my tests) all devices should be recognized by Scan Hardware.

But that scan also effectively disables some of you ASICs - namely your BF1 devices. You now need to physically walk over to them and press the RST button them. Then you can start mining.

The RST button must only be pressed once after Scan Hardware. I'm also looking into some more effective solutions for a future update but that will have to be for BFGMiner, not MultiMiner.

Ways to Market the pool to get more miners interested.

Anyone have any recommendations for a time to have a live chat on Sunday?

Some things I want to discuss:
  • Fan Operating Plan Update
  • Electrical Circuit Upgrades
  • Mining Equipment Order Status
  • Quarterly Reports
  • Nasty Mining's 2nd Birthday

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I hope this helps I am stumped and frustrated.

Thanks

HI Luke.
I have been having a show stopping bug since 4.0 came out.

I have a small setup that has 3x DualMiners, 2x Ant U1's/U2's, 1x RedFury, 2x HexFury's, 4x Block Eruptors and 1x BiFury.
When I upgraded to 4.0 they all stopped working together.  I have them in a Razorfish HUB and had no issues prior.

Now when it scans for miners it will find some of them but not all.  Some will not work that are detected.  Each time I scanned them different miners were found and left out.
I have tried leaving only one type in and it works ok.  I can no longer mix them.

Any ideas?  I am out of them.  I have went through so many things and re-installs and going back to previous versions.  I have no clue what to do.

On another note that is not bad just need info.
I have another setup that has OneString Miners.  Do you know which drivers to use for them in BFG and a link to them?  When testing I cannot get the driver setup correctly with what is there.

Thanks for the help.

I will not comment on BFL anymore I found out too much disturbing stuff about them recently to be impartial anymore and I do not want to be dragged into the impending shit storm.

I am glad I sold the other one I purchased not long after I got it.  Fingers crossed.  I will do a tear down when I have not just had a 6 hr round trip to my surgeons.  I am beat right now.

Could be worse.

I hope BFL follows through on the hashing.

So they are going to ship out just a few to try and quell the angry customers while making another excuse for an extended delay yet again.
Sounds and looks familiar.
I am not surprised.

No, they are hoping to get enough working cards to start providing cloud hashing for us until our units ship.  It is unfortunate that they are still revising the boards, but I noticed that I had several different revisions of the original single boards as well.  It is good that they are resolving everything before shipping this time and keeping the underperforming boards for their cloud hashing project.

An update on the hosted BFL Single.
It ate a 2nd power supply last night.  I was able to pick up a new one while I was in Syracuse today for a Dr's appointment.
It is back online.

Damn, that sucks.  I hope something didn't happen to it during shipping that is making it run through PSUs.  Sad

That sad thing is they all worked before the upgrade.
These are my toy miners I have much larger.   Grin

I am frustrated because I have never hit a roadblock like this before.

Worse each time I scan new hardware it finds different units and loses others that were already detected.
So odd.
I am incredibly frustrated.

Sorry I've got nothing to offer. But I wanted to share my crappy experience with you.
I went through this exact same thing with the Nanofury's. I ended up giving them away & bought an Antminer. Good luck.

Perfect analogy.
It is insanely loud.  Just like the data centers.

how loud is LOUD?

are we talking the volume of an S2? 4-6 S1 units? or is this vaccuum-cleaner loud?

Louder. You'd probably need 40 S2s to match the noise pressure of a single SP10.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MemoryCoin | CPU Coin | Paid Dev Team | Limited Supply [MMC] on: May 29, 2014, 09:26:48 AM
What about the negative impact of all that MMC being removed?
I don't have any on the exchanges but if people who do all the sudden remove it it could harm the value of the coin could it not???
I do like your idea though for the LottoShares.  It looks fun.

Reminder - Distribution on 31st May - Hold your MMC off-exchange

The distribution date for LottoShares is at end of the day on May 31st.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=4691.0

It is vital that you hold your MMC in a private wallet so that you control the private keys at the end of this month.

I will be trying to identify and remove balances held by exchanges, so they will not even be in a position to make a distribution of LottoShares.

Please remove your MMC from exchanges immediately if you want to receive your shares in LottoShares.

After so much testing and uninstalling and re-installing I still have no answers just more questions.
BFGMiner hates the HexFury and RedFury since 3.9.
I can get all the miners to detect and work including strangely enough a BiFury, DualMiner, Ant U1 and U2, Block Eruptors.
It will not detect the HexFurys or RedFury.
When I leave out the HexFurys the RedFury will not detect.
It is like a dam puzzle.
I am ready to smash it all.  LOL

70+ dB on medium clock.
Much louder on High.

I am not sure on the AMP's bu the one I have is pulling right now 1040 watts at the wall on a 20 amp breaker.

2x SP10 finally arrived, US customs released the captives..

Whonesta, I read in the S2 thread that you just took possession of some S2 machines too.
You've got quite a collection going there … adding a SP30 this year too ?

~L)L~

I will have my eyes open come Q3/Q4 ( Cheesy Grin Cheesy)
I plan to move the S1 racks (6xS1) back to the house from DC to heat, so that should open up 4KWs or so.

The SP10 is looking great so far so I can not wait until their Gen2 stuff comes out.

Does anyone know how many AMPS this SP10 takes up during normal operation?
