961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are charts useful for long term investors? on: March 23, 2018, 06:03:08 PM
actually i think charts are best for long term investors not the short term ones, from monthly to 2 years that you are looking for. because when it comes to long term all the drama goes away and becomes ineffective. but in short term the drama is all that matters and it makes using charts nearly impossible.
Chart is as useful for a long term trader as it is for a short term trader or day trader. Long term traders actually combine fundamental analysis mostly with theirs, but they also do some little bit of analysis on the charts with longer time frame to know the decision to make at any point in time and we all know there is no way you can make any good decision without at least making use of the charts.

If I am a long term investor, there is still what they call trend following and I basically cannot do trend following without still making use of the charts. I always believe some few indicators such as MA, MACD and RSI are basically all that a long term investor will need but not even necessarily all of them. As long as you a trading and you are not just holding, either long term, short or day, you will always need to be able to analyze the chart, just the time frame that differs and you do not have to check every time as a long term investor.

963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: March 21, 2018, 11:07:39 AM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.
Well, it is becoming something obvious and it seems it just will have to ball down to few things which is either bounties are scrapped, or the ICOs will no longer get to invest in any project again and wait for the price on the market which I so much believe will even cause the price to shoot up anyway at the end of the day as every investor wants to buy in quickly.

Hence I feel there is no need complaining here and any smart investor will buy small in ICO and buy more if it gets lower on an exchange, which makes it a win for anyone stupid enough to dump below ICO price.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stability ripple on: March 20, 2018, 07:09:59 PM
For the last 24 hours the rate of crypto currency Ripple fell to $ 0.81 per coin. Recall that in just a few weeks of crypto currency, Ripple lost half of its December value. Today, the Ripple rate is fixed at around 1 dollar, which means that the goal has been achieved. It stabilized at this point. According to analysts' forecast, the drop in the rate of the Ripple below the $ 0.7 mark for a coin by the end of 2018 is unlikely, since the currency is stable and is constantly supported by large investors.
Ripple XRP is not the only crypto currencies in the crypto market that has fallen more than half of its value since December. There are other cryptos such as bitcoin which fell to a low of 6000$ after hitting almost 20000$ and there is ethereum that hit 600$ after hitting all time high of 1400$.

So its not just ripple, that has lost its value, the world crypto market has lost its value by more than half. Crypto isn’t stable at all, it fluctuates with the movement of the market and it can fall below 0.7$ if market crashes to that point.

XRP will surely be more than its all time high by the end of 2018 as the piloting ends and institutions actually start using it and making transactions of trillions of dollars through it. it’s the whole market that is stable within a range of values, not just ripple.
Apparently, they all focus on one particular market instead of actually looking at the main target which is even bitcoin in this case. The whole market move just in one way, and that is the way bitcoin moves and the only time they move in a totally bullish way is whenever bitcoin consolidates.

I expect every coin to do well in the long run once the market recovers, but personally I am not a fan of centralized non-cryptocurrency such as Ripple.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: March 14, 2018, 05:50:39 PM
It is very difficult to describe how to know which cryptocurrency would be scam. You cannot predict the scam in cryptocurrency. One thing is only possible the performance of cryptocurrency and its interaction communications with investors and links can be roots to identify the scam otherwise it is no easy to find scam.

Though it's hard to predict,  you can still analyze the ICO details to know the truth behind.  We have few factors to look at.  Get into the white paper and read the details. Know the project they have undertaken. This would make you bit clear.  Then check out the team members' profiles. This another strong clue. Then know the amount they invested on projects, marketing and other stuffs.  Look for proofs they hold on the above then invest in them. This would be a way to find the correct ICO.
The last thing I always ever want to go through in any project is the whitepaper. That is a lot to digest and I would not even want to waste my time doing that and then finding out that the team looks shady. It is very easy to dig the team up and find out a lot from them by asking questions and getting to know their identity, what they have done, after you have gotten a quick glance of the project from the website, and then if you are certain, you can then go ahead reading all the technical stuffs from the whitepaper.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: March 08, 2018, 07:15:38 PM
One of the attitude that you should have in this business is the PATIENCE. It is very normal that prices will go down especially in the crypto marjet because it is very volatile. The prices fluctuate every minute. If you see the prices are going down, don't mind it. Just hold your coins and have patience. You will not incur losses until you sell your coins.
It even totally depends on your knowledge of trading and so many people who make a mistake of holding on to coins when they are apparently showing signals of a downtrend are the ones who do not really have any knowledge about trading and they are only gambling their positions. Trading is a real business and whoever is not ready to learn will only end up losing a lot. However, there is no need to be emotional in deep loss as long as you are not holding a shit coin. The market always comes back bigger and better.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Watch | BTC/USD Fails To Hold $11,000 on: March 08, 2018, 05:48:48 PM
There is most definitely powers at work here, that is manipulating the price to hover just above and just below $10 000/bitcoin. I have previously hinted at Bitcoin futures having a hand in this, but I have no concrete evidence to back that up. I am currently trying to gather some evidence to prove my point, but it is not very easy to do this.

Prepare yourself for a less volatile Bitcoin price, whilst these Bitcoin Futures are in affect. ^mark my words^
You guys have not seen anything yet. So far, I have seen the biggest manipulation I can ever imagine in the history of bitcoin and who else do you think ? You have said it and I have always suspected this coming since we started having the futures and when this guy was saying something like 'do not worry, I will not drive the market to zero' which means they admit they are manipulators and they are big. Well, there is nothing we can do, is there ?
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) ever go back to $3 again? Can it recover? on: February 28, 2018, 02:03:30 PM
Seems like Ripple (the company) may have a lot of success.  Also seems like the sooner they realize/admit that XRP is not a key part of that success, the more focused they'll be and the better they'll do.  That's likely to happen with lots of tokens in the future...they're utility tokens, not equity.
Well, no one may dispute that fact, but with the consideration that this is a coin that we all know is more or less a manipulated coin, I would not probably want to gamble that for a position. It could recover in the long run, no one absolutely knows and it may not, but the thing is that it would always be what it is. For the good development, do not expect that what is driving it is actually the community support.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell and buy ethereum? on: February 28, 2018, 06:10:03 AM
right now only 1 coin should be bought that is BTC , bcoz from 2 months its movement is up and down ,
any day it will start pumping and will stop at 25k$ .

and you know when BTC pumps then almost every coin dumps .
Agreed. In fact, any smart investor that is even looking forward to some short or long term profit should be considering investing in Bitcoin right now at this dip before it starts the next bull run. Most coins will dump anyway considering how bitcoin usually end up dominating the market. Eth is good no doubt, but for someone who even wants to get the best for the long of it, I would consider more of BTC.

Right now, I would rather be thinking buying bitcoin instead of Ethereum. Bitcoin is showing some bullish signs and it would be better to go in on bitcoin or probably just have a share in both however you like it. Personally, I would rather prefer a deflationary currency to an inflationary one but the choice is all yours and no one can obviously make the decision for you.
970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anonymous trader buys $400 million in bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 08:05:15 AM
Thanks! I wonder why this story suddenly blew up. Did people not realize it was an exchange wallet?

Well sites earn money from clicks, and saying someone loaded up on $400m worth of Bitcoins is much more attractive than saying some exchange is gathering coins to an address lol.

But yeah, someone buying that much would certainly have caused a sudden spike, and I haven't noticed any the past few days, so I thought something was wrong. This was either a bad journalist who doesn't do much research, or a good one who can mislead readers for their own agenda.
Lol. Obviously, most media would always want to drop a catchy line to draw in traffic. Knowing it is an exchange, no one would bother reading much about the news, but not knowing at all, would leave the readers hanging trying to find out all by themselves who the person in question could be until they find the answer, but at least, the media would have been able to fulfill their own mission in the process. This tether involvement though scares the creep out of me based on what I can gather and what a lot of people have been saying.
971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 12, 2018, 06:09:03 AM
It is not wise to leave your full time job just for trading crypto. As of now it is not stable and unpredictable. Maybe investing needs time but you should not sacrifice your job for it. Its better to keep your job, earn some money, fill in your financial needs and invest your extra money on it.
If you have the funds and the knowledge, I would not classify it as a bad decision. However, the OP could have made a smarter decision which I want to believe he did, by testing his trading skills and how fair it is for him before quitting his job. However, it is a good decision if you have the bucks to trade with as there are lots of opportunities if you know what you are doing.

973  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 12, 2018, 06:11:11 PM
Do you think there will be a chance that bitcoin will be recognized by all people around the world? If so, what would you contribute for the success of bitcoin in adapting human culture?
Bitcoin will be famous at some good reason or bad reason because other countries like Philippines announced/warning people that bitcoin is not safe investment because they cant control the price unlike if you are a stock holder the company will have the responsibilities of loss. I think the main reason for disliking bitcoin is the paper money will be removed and the banks will go bankcrupt because f bitcoin thats why they warn people not to invest bitcoin.
You would not expect a lot of people to warn people as a lot of people are getting into bitcoin for the wrong reasons which is to just make money and asides from that, the only weapon that most democratic countries have is to use the media to put some FUD into new investors mind but we all know that this is not working and the only thing they will end up doing is to legalize the activities surrounding bitcoin.

975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 10, 2018, 08:18:49 PM
It is so impossible to trade without any single loss.  But the thing is we can compensate every loss thru average down. So do not trade the whole money 100%. Always trade in portion. One more thing do not trade using margin if you dont know how to manage it.

Iagree
In the crypto field it is best not to use the margin
The division of capital is part of the scalping, part of the holding and part of the emergency and always activate the stop loss
Right bro, if you are capitalizing on marginal trading in the crypto world, you can end up losing a lot and tying down your funds eventually until the market you are in comes back up. I once tried this marginal trading with BTS and unknowingly it got delisted from bittrex and before I could know, I ended up losing so much at the end as I could not wait for the time it would get back up while other trades are there waiting for me to enter them and get good profit. I later got all back anyway and learned my lessons to always use stop loss.
976  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Site on: January 09, 2018, 05:34:36 AM
I just started trading and the very first problem i encountered is what trading site shall i use?
my friends from gambling site suggested some and i decided to pick cryptopia
lately, i just discovered poloinex
which is very friendly to both beginners because there is an option where you can sell your alt coins at your desired price even when you're out somewhere

what about you guys? what do you use and why? imma change later if i discover something much better
You should have done a thorough research on the best trading site to use online before even starting to trade. For beginners, you can start with a trading site with a high volume and possibly with some good reputation and so far, I feel binance is really the one giving that touch for traders. Bittrex used to do it until they closed some accounts without notification, but if you are able to get your account verified, then you should be good.
977  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the consequences of increasing demand to bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 01:02:00 PM
I think we are now encountering the consequences of the increasing demand. The fees in transacting bitcoin is very high plus the confirmation process is very slow right now.
Looking at the question that the OP asked though, that should not be a negative effect. There is really no negative effect that the increase in demand can cause, except for those who could have wish they were given the time to accrue as much as they would have wanted to before the bull run starts because that is exactly what is going to end up happening with increase in demand.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is Bankless casino possible? on: January 07, 2018, 05:32:14 PM

If you mean by bankless casino that the website owner does not need any bankroll to invest then make a player vs player gambling portal while if you want users to just withdraw and cannot deposit then yes it's a nice idea that people earn their money and gamble it, at least they would be satisfied that they only gambled what they earned.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: January 07, 2018, 07:27:44 AM
I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun.
But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win?
Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?
After I get some wins or a big win I actually feel like I am the most intelligent person and winning was always so easy and actually a special feeling is there which I am sure all the gamblers have experienced but cannot be expressed in words, in contrary to that when I loose in gambling I actually don't feel too bad because I know that loosing means that I will have more chances of a win when I gamble next. I mainly bet on sports and never had a more than 5 loss streak.
980  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: January 07, 2018, 04:30:20 AM
Ive met some group of financial adviser, they told me that the best way to aquire bitcoin is through cloud mining, they gave me names of trusted cloud mining providers and as of my research, they are well known and trusted.
Then ive met some people, whos already earning big bucks on bitcoin, they dont recommend cloud mining. They told me that its expensive and risky, but as for my understanding its good way of gaining passive income.
What are the possible reason on thier contradiction?
Whos recommendation should i try and why?
Take the 2nd opinions which came from those some people because they do really say the right thing which investing on cloud mining isnt really worth because most of them are just total scams. You would really able to see that they are well known and trusted but the truth is that theyre not.  They do just try to convince you to put up money into their ponzi cloud mining site. Better stay away and find  another investment.
Yes, I am sure none of the financial advisers have an idea or an experience from any of the cloud mining and I wonder how they ended up being an adviser when they cannot just make use of the web to find just little information about cloud mining and profitability. That is the worst advice anyone can ever give the OP. A lot of people who have experienced cloud mining have shared their experience and that is all that is needed to know.
