961  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 14, 2015, 09:58:57 PM
ufo and aliens are different things lol. The first is a flying object you can't identify. (probably nothing special most of the time) The second is probably real, but there is no reason to believe they are here on Earth.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I often make this point when people bring up UFOs. Statistically it is very likely aliens exist in the universe somewhere - whether that is simple life forms or advanced ones - but I don't believe any have visited us or there's certinly no evidence to suggest they have. Stuff like crop circles and abductions are obviously bullshit.

I heard a rumor that aliens came to earth in UFOs and kidnapped Satoshi Nakamoto

Is it true?

He could stuck on a UFO teaching the alien race about blockchain technology. Lets just hope they don't have access to some alien form of unlimited free electricity to 51% BTC with ASICs.

Tell the UFO please to create backup bitcoin mining plants on Mars so that in case any major bitcoin mining group goes down the backups can go online and replace the falling units.

Oh and also please Satoshi tell the aliens that abducted you to keep spreading bitcoin in their galaxy too, we need bitcoin to be intergalactic.

International simply doesnt put it, must be intergalactic!

963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BlueSteel - BLUS - X11 on: July 13, 2015, 11:49:50 PM
This coin needs more attention, i hold about 20% of the supply, so i`m looking for a nice ride up.

964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CYC - Cycling coin -10k CYC PEG AT $6 MERCHANDISE VOUCHER. TRADING ON YOBIT! on: July 13, 2015, 11:46:07 PM
Very unusual and interesting idea about bicycles and cryptocurrencies, but I like it.

It is very new and innovative concept. You just found yourselves a new investor with big capital and definitely longterm. I won't sell until atleast 800-1000 satoshi, so keep up the good job.

Also i`ll even buy more coins in the upcoming days if my other investments allow it, it should get pumped then pretty much Smiley
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] METAL MUSIC COIN [PLEASE UPGRADE NOW TO MTLMC V3] on: July 13, 2015, 11:39:44 PM
I own 5% of the market, holding it to them until it hits atleast 1000 satoshi, i made up my mind and I see a serious DEV here, and a strong metal fan community.

So i`ll support you guys, and wish you good luck, this coin will definitely have a bright future in my view Smiley
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trending in greece! on: July 13, 2015, 11:35:56 PM
Definitely folks, help spread bitcoin in greece.

Put up posters, bilboards, contact newspapers, tv, or any media or press.

We need to tell the greek people to use bitcoin, it will liberate them from the shackles of the banksters, which they want it already.

Greeks must have some prior knowledge regarding bitcoin so it isn't that much hard to spread the word about it. However, the problem is how are they gonna buy bitcoins if they are only limited to withdraw a couple of euros per day?

They are limited to withraw, and send outside the country.

But they can still wire transfer infinite amount inside the country, so if there is a bitcoin exchange in greece, people will definitely "raid" it Cheesy

So if you are a greek entepreneur, then consider making a bitcoin exchange in greece, 100% that you will get alot of customers.

There is a Greek Bitcoin exchange that was posted around here a few times. https://www.btcgreece.com/
I don't read Greek, but I haven't heard that they would have been raided.

I meant "raid" in quotes, meaning that alot of people will buy there, like a bank run, but in the positive sense, going there to buy.

So if that is the case, that 1 single bitcoin exchange will make a fortune from comissions in the next month.... if the government doesnt shut them down....

I wish them greeks the best, hopefully they realize how beneficial bitcoin is compared to fiat toilet paper.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 13, 2015, 08:44:22 PM
if some one has little to no experience with investing they are better off contacting some who knows exactly how everything works.
investing is risky which means if you invest it in the wrong industry or wrong in a wrong way you might end up with a huge loss.

Both saving money in a bank and investing it are equally good and bad. Banking might seem more secure but you only lose in the long term because of the high inflation rate taking place. Additionally, investing in the wrong area is also bad. I'd rather invest than to save in a bank, and I'd rather invest in both gold and bitcoin.

I think somehow we all rely on banks for now because we do not know what to do of our lifelong savings. How can we put it all in a bitcoin wallet as it is more of an investment right now, if it falls, lifelong money will be lost and no one should take that risk, ever. Once it is adopted and used more like currency and considered less of an investment, I'd put all my money in my bitcoin wallet.

You have always gold, it fluctuates, but is less risky. And you have the fiat paper rectangles.

But bitcoin price are depends on fiat money? so that you can't say that bitcoin will replace fiat money. So we can used bitcoin or fiat money either of that still they have both risk.

Bitcoin does not depend on fiat money in any way. It is free market, private money with good money properties.

Its depend on fiat money, because buyers of bitcoins or users are depending on the price of bitcoin, they will used it, buy or sell bitcoin when they know if the price of bitcoin is high or low, So its means bitcoin is depending on fiat money.

There is some logic to what you say, because currently fiat money is more liquid than bitcoin, and you can therefore use fiat as an intemediate money type. But you talk as if bitcoin is unusable when there is no fiat money. On the contrary, when the argentinian peso dies, noone will want them, and bitcoin will shine.

Yep, argentine, greece, and other financially burdened countries need to switch to bitcoin asap. Its more liquid internationally, even if locally there arent more vendors.

On the Op it says
Quote
Total coin supply: ∞

Yes but i want an explorer to track the current supply.

I want to measure the inflation rate of this coin, because once it gets listed , i`m sure many people will dump, so i guess until next halving it will have a low price.

Perfect time to buy up all coins cheap Smiley
970  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: July 13, 2015, 08:39:15 PM
Trading is my first priority now, i was looking into DUB ,BLUS, CYC (Cycling coin), MTLMC3 on Yobit, i think they can make 4x-10x growth in the following days, maybe weeks.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 13, 2015, 08:37:16 PM
I think gold is getting out of trend.

If you ask any person on the street they have no fkin clue about gold.

You have more supporters for bitcoin than for gold, even though gold is 5000-6000 year used metal, while bitcoin is only 5.

This shows us that except a few african countries, the western world doesnt give a shit about gold anymore. It was good but it lost its appeal already.
972  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: July 13, 2015, 08:34:26 PM
Did you guys noticed, the greek government is now begging the EU to give them austerity, but a "better" austerity, to favor the greeks.

Thats as much as a referendum clearly wanting the opposite is worth nowadays. Can't trust politicians nowadays guys.

So this makes them lose not only the EU's trust in greece, but now the population will lose trust in their government too, default is inevitable...
973  Economy / Economics / Re: I need bitcoin to be $690 to break even.....will I make it? on: July 13, 2015, 08:31:58 PM
Patience my friends, Bitcoin is now at 300$, it was 200$ a few months ago, so we definitely see progress now, with greece unfolding.

What we need now is more time, and more work to promote bitcoin, and it will be more than 700$ then Smiley
974  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 13, 2015, 08:30:51 PM
All of us conspiracy guys united in 1 thread? This is interesting.

There are hundreds if not thousands of different alien conspiracies, with almost equal evidence each one (and pretty good evidence), however some theories are contradicting eachother.

So we got 2 contradicting conspiracy about aliens, with almost the same evidence each, how do you determine which one is true?
975  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. [NSFW] on: July 13, 2015, 08:26:58 PM

Haha in your face! I like how those titties are in your face! Cheesy
976  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: July 13, 2015, 08:23:26 PM

Banks are not thinking about their survival because they are pretty much thinking that they are on top of the food chain and there is nothing to take them down . Most banks actually have no interest with BTC and also the fact is that BTC is not much of a threat to them and is just a niche for the economics world.
I do believe that Banks are not actually trying to make a cryptocurrency I believe but rather taking steps into making the old fashioned FIAT into a digital form (something like controllable paypal ). However this is the fact that banks are actually "stronger" than BTC (for now) as they are pretty confident into creating a new form of digital FIAT

"Whoever is winning at the moment will always seem to be invincible."
George Orwell

Yea their vanity will be their end, but then again I agree with you, they are trying to hijack the word: cryptocurrency.

The elite is always in the business of hijacking and distorting words like:  liberal, freedom, courage, bravery, or other sensitive words.

So they are building a centralized toilet paper printed fiat currency, and trying to brand it as a decentralized cryptocurrency with limited supply, what a shame  Cheesy

And more shame to those idiot ignorants who will believe them
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Virocoin (VIRO) Crypto Currency on: July 13, 2015, 08:16:59 PM
Looking forward to invest in this coin. So we really need an exchange.

But first and foremost we need an explorer, DEV can you put up an explorer please.

I either missed it , but i cannot see what is the coin supply of VIRO, with this pace of people watching ads, it must be a big coin supply.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards: A Real Alternative? on: July 13, 2015, 08:14:47 PM
If we are clever, then instead of using globalist controlled cards, lets just use XAPO or other bitcoin based cards, that would make the globalists very angry Smiley
Naive. All cards are controlled, including mentioned XAPO and such. That Xapo is just co-branded VISA or MC card issued by one of the tiny offshore banks. If you don't belong to the credit card issuers club (Visa, MC, Amex, JCB...) your card will be just an useless piece of plastic. No one ATM will accept it.

Thats not what i meant. Obviously if you use the ATM or bankster system at all, you are controlled to a degree.

What i meant is that atleast there you can have control over the funds.

So you have 1-2 bitcoin on your Xapo debit card, and 100 bitcoin in a cold wallet. Whenever you want to buy something higher than usual daily expense, then you transfer it from the cold wallet.

This way even if it becomes scam, you can control risk. You only deposit what you spend, got it?
979  Economy / Economics / Re: What can greece central bank do? on: July 13, 2015, 08:11:27 PM
What I meant is that bitcoin will be the de facto reserve currency of the world, no censorship, no capital controls.

Sure the population is not ready, i dont expect greece to jump on the train tomorrow.

But eventually, it will spread there, people cannot tolerate the government & banking mischiefs much longer, so they want an alternative.

And who is searching, will find it. Just hope google wont ban the bitcoin keyword lol Cheesy

I don't think so google will ban that key word, it brings them a lot of revenue anyway Tongue Yes, you're correct regarding how Greece won't just readily jump on the train today because its population is not ready for this massive change, and yes amph I also agree with you about how bitcoin's cap isn't serving the right justice, but considering bitcoin as a replacement rather than an alternative is highly ambitious.

Its alternative now, and a replacement tomorrow.

Since bitcoin doesnt have any "legitimacy from banksters" (which it will probably never have nor need), people dont trust it.

Its funny that greeks dont trust banks, yet, they still look for the banksters to tell them what money to use.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Anyways, i hope people will get smart and do the right choice.
