961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Newbie on: February 18, 2017, 03:50:46 AM

If you are looking for a trading altcoin check my signature many altcoin there are new release also you can buy cheap altcoin there.
Almost new altcoin is always release in yobit so check it out.

Yobit is the place of many cheap coins. where is  also a good place for the beginner in this forum also, though majority of the coins in yobit was really called shit please excuse me for the terms. but still yobit was a good exchange that I can say, I don't care what other's says about me.

i disagree. because i have tried both yobit and many other places. and among them, yobit is the worse. so i ask you why would you choose the worse place among all other much better exchanges?
i mean what feature did you see there that is good enough that you chose there?

Cry Just as I moved out of KingDice  Cry and also got punished by BitVest  Cry

according to OP's charts history and also from what i have been seeing from bitvest, i have to say they are performinig very badly. i wanted to invest there too but with enough study of their past i realized that it is not such a good idea to do it.
at least for now, i don't know what is happening there but it is mostly loss.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1050.. China "inspection" has to be coming. on: February 18, 2017, 03:37:33 AM
Do you think it will be in less than 24 hours?

The price doesnt react anymore to the chinese tricks and traps, we are now past that. Bitcoin holders know that everytime they panic sell because of PBOC bullcrap they are making the corrupt chinese government richer. The solution is to hold and get rich ourselves. If these fuckers want bitcoin they will not get it at a discount.

I bet the PBOC can drop the price $100 again.  It's worked like 25 times before..

we can only wish now for prices that are anything lower than $900 because those good days are long gone.
now all we can get is 4 digit price and possibly with massive scale amount of FUD some $980 again for a short time before it is back to 4 digits price again.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "The end of inheritance tax" on: February 18, 2017, 03:31:58 AM
Not sure where you live, but in US it only matters (somewhat) if your estate is above 5.45 mil (if you are married, then 2X5.45 mil).
In US, only 2 people out of 1000 qualified for an estate tax.
on the other hand, those with >10mil already know what to do: trust funds, etc.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estate_tax_in_the_United_States

it is not only in US, in many other countries (where i live included) that they have some kind of minimum value for the inheritance before it needs to be taxed. i forgot what the amount was but here it is a lot less than 5 mil though
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Maximum loss roll on a 2.4x strategy on Bitsler or any Gamedice ? on: February 17, 2017, 04:41:33 AM
For the past ten day now, I've been plaing the 2.4x method without losing.
I have daily goal and a balance that allow me to last 25 rolls.

So my question was the following : How many loss roll have you made in this strategy ? I've made 24 Once, 23 twice, 22 maybe 3 or 4 times but never 25 times...

why 2.4x? what is so significant about that multiplier apart from lowering your chances of winning?

and to answer your question, i have never tried that multiplier but what i have tried is lots of rolls on 2x on so many different dice sites with so many different house edges. in all of them i have high records of losing streak as big as 25 to 30 reds in a row.

so you can be sure that 25+ loss in 2.4 is more than possible because of the lower chance of winning.
966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to 2,000 $ soon ? why not ? on: February 17, 2017, 04:35:26 AM
Bitcoin price could go any high as well can fall low. Financial analysts have calculated that the price could go higher than $3600 if SEC approves ETF. For the same several measures that support the growth too is described. At the same if ETF is scheduled or postponed we might experience a price as low as $550. Now the risk of profiting and losing happens relating to bitcoin ETF.

lol
that financia analysis is the most wrong thing that i have ever seen then. you can bookmark this comment and come back to in in a year from now.

if ETF is approved price will rise but not to $3600. the rise will be because of hype and then because of some new people investing in bitcoin directly not in the ETF. the money for ETF has came in bitcoin long ago.

if ETF is disapproved or postponed price will drop again because of negative hype. so far we were rising without ETF or any other things bitcoin doesn't need all that crap to rise. and you will only see $550 in your dream Cheesy
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you cashed-out bonuses from casinos? on: February 17, 2017, 04:28:29 AM
Basically, have you reach the roll over requirement casinos and sportsbooks require to cash-out your bonuses?

So far, I haven't. Since, I think the roll-over requirement is really stupid and requires you a minimum of 40-100 roll-over of your initial deposit or the amount of bonus you are entitled to before you can cash out. Meaning, from a bonus of 10 mBTC, you have to gamble around 1 Bitcoin (a whole bitcoin!) just to cash-out just 10 mBTC worth of bonus.

Can you guys tell me, if anyone has done this?

Have you cashed-out bonuses from casinos?

to this day NO.
i have already used multiple one of these so called bonus giveaways that they give you for yoru deposits and etc but each time in each casino that i did that, they had a very complicated and a very hard set of requirements for me to be able to cash out that bonus and in order to fulfil them i had to spend lots more money which i never am willing to do!
968  Economy / Speculation / Re: New record being at 1000+? on: February 17, 2017, 04:23:40 AM
I don't know if the current price will keep the enough momentum to achieve a new ATH, but I would be completely satisfied if the mark of $1000 is able to persist as the new floor. It would be the first step for our expected skyrocketing.

if it remains at this level by March and April, then it's stable enough to be the new floor. IMO, the next big run would come again next halving, so this price should hold for a long time.

it can be considered the new floor now too.
and it actually is the new floor, but the fact that price can go below $1000 still exists just like any other bitcoin price before it. that is how bitcoin works, the market is still volatile because how small it is and how orderbooks can be filled.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I dream of a day BTC will be boring! [POLL] on: February 17, 2017, 04:17:57 AM
i think most of all are dreaming about most of these things since we all want most of them!
i also want the day where China is not so relevant to anything in bitcoin and we start seeing bitcoin for what it really is, a global currency not just in one country.
i also want to see a day when price is stable and we can really use bitcoin as a currency
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: searching for a lending/investing service on: February 16, 2017, 04:21:44 AM
if you want investment in safe, many alternative you can choose
1 lending in poloniex
2 lending in bitfinex
3 lending in bitcointalk forum lending section
4 gambling site, moneypot, bitves, crypto-game.net and more
I just think if the number three on your list are very risky. At least the lender must put the lowest loan rather than the collateral's worth. But it's good with the other list like polo or bitfinex.

all lending options are risky, and it is not limited to lending on a specific platform such as bitcointalk. in fact i think bitcointalk is the safest one since you can take a collateral.
but these risks can be lowered with vetting the borrowers and also taking a collateral.

but i agree on the #4 being super risky, moneypot investors have been losing money for a long time which doesn't seem to change and it is gambling and you can't do anything about it even as an investor.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: February 16, 2017, 04:10:48 AM
i voted yes.
mostly because paypal has too many faults and is bothering so many people specially the small time merchants who are the victim of paypal's charge back and them not caring about these guys.
and bitcoin simply fixes all of these problems that paypal has which makes it a very good substitute.
the only step is going to be adoption which will remain slow.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 16, 2017, 04:03:04 AM
Hi guys!
Everyone in Oshi including myself is very curious how do you choose the casino to play in?
What's the most important to you? Bonuses? Or something else?
For me personally it's the website's design and the number of games offered.

first thing for me is the popularity of the casino itself, if i have never seen or heard the name of the casino anywhere before, that means that casino is not at all famous and it is not a good idea to play there.

then it is the bonuses, promotions and other free giveaway stuff that will attract me to that place.

however to stay that needs to be good place to keep me interested.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy and Lost in GAMBLE on: February 16, 2017, 03:55:12 AM
in gambling dice I often use martingale strategy it's the general strategy but can generate profits as long as not greedy. in sportsbetting I prefer choosing a team that has a chance to win big, and of course see the details of the game
how can you say it generate profit when in the first 10 rolls you lost the whole bankroll? martingale was the worst strategy that i ever used , especially when you use it on a game like dice , you will never withdraw a profit even for a cent.

avoid to use martingale before you will have suffering a painful lost.
Oh really? Why did this guy successfully to withdrew 100mBtc or 0.1BTC from martingale strategy? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1786113.0 Wink

i agree that saying "never" is not technically correct in this context but you should remember that we are talking about gambling here and anything is possible here.
so this means that guy got lucky and won 0.1 and chashed it out, others aren't lucky enough and lose all of it and so on.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love FUD on: February 16, 2017, 03:50:24 AM
The uptrend seems to be pretty evident over the medium term. If you are sitting on a pile of cash, it is better to convert it to bitcoins as quickly as possible. Those dips might present opportunities later on, but today is as good a time as any to buy.

it is over the "long" term not medeum since it is for the past couple of "years" and yeah the dips are always a fantastic time to buy bitcoin and each day that passes the opportunity goes away. for example right now price is $1025 and we don't even know if it is going to come back down ever or not.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thought Experiment: Deeper dive on a gov dedicated to shutting down Bitcoin on: February 16, 2017, 03:45:48 AM
your biggest flaw and any other people with similar theories flaws is that you all forget that illegal activity such as funding terrorism is not done through bitcoin and will never be done with it if you ask me.

when USD is easily doing the job done with maximum efficiency and it is accepted everywhere super easy without any trace of it nobody is going to choose bitcoin which is traceable on the blockchain.

besides if they decided to go the cryptocurrency route they will choose a coin such as monero or other anon coins not bitcoin.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bloomberg Starting come round to bitcoin? on: February 15, 2017, 04:18:12 AM
many of the other news sites, i mean those big news sites that are pulishing economical news, have started to post positively about bitcoin for a while. and it is all about how good bitcoin has been performing for the past couple of years after the mtgox fake pump and the bubble.
and all that good news has been helping bitcoin a lot. you may not see it right away but it has been pretty helpful to the overall adoption.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: February 15, 2017, 04:10:24 AM
I dont like it because it is hard to win in that particular game. Much I like is playing the bomb box like satoshimines. It is good to pla in that particular game because it is easy to win in that game. You just clicking the box and avoid the bomb and thats it you win or you lost in the game. So try satoshimines it is very easy to play.

yeah it's true, you don't have 50% chance like with dice, to have all the slot with the same element you need a higher luck, the probabiblity to hit all the 3 slot is 1/64

that is true but also the amount you win is different too. in dice the amount you want to win is simple set by the multiplier and can literary be anything you like.

and also lets not forget about how slow playing slot games are, you always have to wait for the animation to end. but in dice you just click roll and see the result right away.
978  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (February 2017) on: February 15, 2017, 03:56:22 AM
i keep meaning to check out Directbet.eu  and see what it is that it stays on the top but i keep postponing it because i have my favorite place and i always go there instead.

and that place is bitsler.com and i like it mostly because of the fast rolls, a good support team with fast responses and the faucet rank up system seems better than other sites.
979  Economy / Speculation / Re: when do you think this rise is going to slow down/stop? on: February 15, 2017, 03:50:48 AM
i will close this topic since this was for 2 months ago and more argument here is pointless since we all know the answer.

thanks for all the replies.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of people that treat Bitcoin solely as an investment? on: February 15, 2017, 03:48:49 AM
I've seen a lot of people arguing that Bitcoin can be profitable because of its volatility and convenience, but sometimes I feel that people using Bitcoin as an investment have little enthusiasm for its main use as a means of trading without an intermediary.

Under what circumstances should Bitcoin be treated as investment and to what extent should people think about its use as a global currency?

it is the situation that is pushing people into treating bitcoin only as an investment.
the price is so volatile so you can not really think about spending something that can be worht 20% more in a month and 100% more in a year.
also the transactions are starting to cost a lot more and also take a lot longer to confirm, which again makes bitcoin a bad currency.
