981  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 14, 2023, 08:09:01 AM
Just noticed that the next draw's coming soon. Just wanted to quickly post here to let you all know I'm winning the big one with my single lucky ticket Wink

I've won quite a weird few lotteries on crypto in the past with a single ticket -- think 1 in almost 100,000 very early on, for some Doges that I of course wasted away.

You heard it here first!
You sure deserve the win if it hits you bud, we cant under-estimate what great things one can achieve with even 1 ticket, as I personally trust freebitco to be a very fair platform in terms of all their lottery dealings, I've personally used the weekly bitcoin lottery as a case study, as I've seen some really lucky guys win the the first, second and even the third position in the lottery table, with as little as 15 to 100 lottery tickets.

So considering that the lambo golden ticket is one that is more rarer than that of the weekly bitcoin lottery ticket, one ticket is sure enough for you to win the lambo if indeed luck is on your side, So I am wishing you all the best, and do no forget to give us some red wine to celebrate with you when you did win  Grin

I remember one guy winning FreeBitco.in's weekly lottery with just one ticket. The case was discussed here and we came to conclusion that he earned that one ticket through his referral because even if you play FREE BTC just one time in a week you get two tickets from your roll. So, yes, winning that Lambo with only one ticket is possible and I hope @buwaytress

wins it and makes all of us happy that one of the most recognized members of our community have won it. It would be a win for all of us here.

Today, I decided to test my theory that if LIVE RTP of a slot for the last 24 hours is much lower than the actual RTP, then maybe it's worth trying to play on it a bit.

And just in time my new love Bitcasino Sweets was showing an extremely low RTP for the last hours and even days:

So I went to play it and hit these multiple WILDs and FREE SPINS started popping up like crazy

In the end I won, , 26x of my bet:

and it was a nice start to the day. Smiley

LIVE RTP is something. I'll tell you that much.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: October 11, 2023, 06:29:44 AM

I'd say it depends, I saw this guy who did a model that removes all bias from decision, only uses data
and the model is overall profitable, I think he's up more than 70% in some months or something like that

so, there are ways to do it without emotion/human decisions.

That's what I thought. It's all about a perfectly written prompt, right? My failed experiments with AI predicting outcomes don't prove anything. This was only a first try and I didn't think of a good prompt that much, I just wrote the first thing that came to mind. Yes, AI was wrong 8 times out of 10, but the same AI helped me to win 22x of my bet

I think I will be experimenting more with it. Maybe AI plus with some human corrections is the answer.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: October 11, 2023, 05:46:47 AM
It's because the chance of getting the free spins is very low, about 0.5% I think. I you increase "very low" by two times, you will still have a very low chance of hitting the bonus round, about 1%. And with 1%, we all know, we can make 300 or even 400 tries and still not hit it. Hence, you are right, "no difference".

maybe it could be smaller than that, but because we never understand how the system works, we just hope that we get the free spins soon. Unfortunately, expecting more is also dangerous, sometimes we will chase free spins over normal spins excessively. When emotions start to become unstable, doubling the bet often occurs. If the percentage were 0.5% or 1% with the additional double chance feature, maybe we would see players getting free spins more often.

Yes, if your usual bet is $0.20 and you decide to bet $0.25 instead, to double your chances of hitting a bonus round, you activate it here

and your chances are doubled indeed(it's not a lie), but with several hundreds of spins you'll hardly notice it because bonus rounds will be still happening very rare.

Guys, since the thread is called "do you lose on slots?", I want to share with you my yesterday's win, my biggest win so far, my personal record:

I won $234 on Twilight Princess slot by Pragmatic Play out of my 20 cents bet.

My previous record was 1,009x. So, sometimes I lose on slots and sometimes I win. Smiley

~ Last week I participated 2 forum challenges, just tested my luck to play the game and I managed to complete the challenge fast as I hit the target in less than 100 bets.
The same for this new challenge, after I wrote my previous above post and after claiming the previous challenges reward, I tried to hunt the 90x multiplier in Scarab Spin and again I was lucky enough with 5lines.
I set 100 spins and I hit 2 free spins within the first 50 bets, luckily the 2nd free spins gave me 90 freespins and I hit more than 300x as the final multiplier.
330x as the final result is not that good if I compare it with the total free spins, there were too many dead spins in the 90 free spins  Grin Grin

That's a great win, 330x. Congrats! I didn't manage to succeed in Scarab Spin, but another challenge, Wild Wild Gold, gave me a positive result:

Plus additional $5 because I'm Level two verified. That's pretty nice, innit? Smiley A new challenge, Twilight Princess, is on. Let's try our luck with that one.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: October 10, 2023, 10:15:10 AM
~
I wasn`t so successful in poker, but it isn`t my main game. I was more interested in sport betting and had stable profit about $800 per month. But it got all my time and i had to stop it - the income from the main job is higher. Of course it wasn`t so long, but i`ve got nice profit for a half a year. Anyway the main achievement in gambling is being profitable gambler as for me. And if it can be higher than income from the job for a long time - it is really cool.

$800 per month? That's amazing! That's much more than I had with my poker playing. You could be making in one year almost the same amount I was making in 10! Congrats! Good job. I'm glad your income from the main job is higher, and you've decided to not dedicate so much time to gambling. That was a right decision, mate.

~
~ I would even want to reach that level and it also gives me uncertainty in which games you can do it, how you can do it when or at what time you use it, if it is in sports betting, if it is in roulette, if it is intra-round, how your bets Usually are, all this is what we must consider before To do anything, the income of a person that is greater than 500usd in some cases I already consider him successful, if a person does this, he is honestly above Average , then these types of things are what should inspire us to be Better at the game Every Day.

Depends on the time span. I said I've won around $10k during my whole gambling career, it's like 10 years, a lot of time, many many hours of playing(NL Holdem Poker mostly).
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: October 10, 2023, 09:37:46 AM
~

It is like this, things should always be destined so that we have the ability to respond to what we know, for example you can win $600k, which is enough a little more than half a million USD, not bad, you can buy a nice house, a good car, and the rest of the money you cannot throw on yourself, not even by buying unnecessary things, you should invest the rest of the money, why? Why is it the only way to multiply, but you don't know what to do? easy, ~

Yes, because with buying a nice house and a good car you've spent some money on yourself already, right? And that's not a small amount of money, to say the truth, that can easily take almost all of your won money. I'm not a big fan of cars, so, can't say about that, but I know that a nice house can cost you half a million USD, and I'm not talking about the most expensive ones. An average price in California is $780,000, for example, so, $600k wouldn't be enough.

And I totally agree with you about investing the rest of the money in Bitcoin. Especially today, when the price is low.

Aaaaand I won another free bet.
~

I'm happy I can say the same, bro. Congrats, btw!

True, I won only one out of my two free bets, but here's what I'm thinking. I could bet with 1.5 odds and win both of my bets and still my profit would be 24 percent less. Betting with 2.00+ odds is great. Smiley

So, Bard AI has helped me to earn 3 points in the latest Matchday:

It's not like Bard predicted the correct score. Bard predicted a 3-1 win for Bayern Munich in the FC Bayern Munich vs SC Freiburg, but since it said: "but it could be a close match", I predicted 4-1 and was right about the Goal Difference and therefore earned 3 points. I'm happy with the result, to be honest. Probably will be using Bard more for my future predictions. (I hope it's not against the rules).

I think I should be rolling my sleeves as well. It's been 4-5 art contest that I have missed but I did them intentionally because in my artwork they were not perfect fit. Initially I also thought that judges are getting bored about the Pencil Carving type of arts and hence none of them were getting selected. But now its time to change the art category. I think I should really try my luck with other categories. Since that is going to be the new experience and also as good taste of artwork it may happen I end up creating astounding artowkr for everyone to see.

Me too. I participated almost in all Roobet Art Contests. Hand-drawn art, Digital, Animation, Craft, I did them all. The only category I haven't perticipated yet is Painting. ("yet", "Yeti Cash Dash", it's funny, innit?). I don't know if I'll win anything, but I'd like to cover this category just for myself.

The painting is monotonous for me and many peeps already do it so that's definitely going to be very congested and competitive. I think I am going to spend more time on crafted art where actual theme to be made. Let us see what happens to the new contest. Good luck to everyone who will participate in it.

Good luck with your crafted art! I hope to see you artwork in this thread soon. And I wish you to win one of the prizes too.
994  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: October 09, 2023, 06:46:54 AM
Let's be serious for a sec here. Let's say Betnomi comes back online, do you really think they will magically start processing wd and make everything right? Look at how well they have communicated with everyone to this point. The owner has logged in a few times as well and i'm sure is well aware of this thread and comments made in their announcement thread.

Don't get your hopes up people.

I don't get my hopes up much anymore. Too much time has passed. It's just hard to say good-bye to my $400 on the site and sometimes I hope out of desperation. And what else am I supposed to do? Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy with my false hopes. Sorry, guys.

I always keep saying, "don't risk more than you can afford to lose". And here I am, risking like 20 times more that I can afford to lose. How embarrassing.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: October 09, 2023, 05:34:15 AM
The poll aggregate from Realclearpolitics clearly shows that Donald Trump is well ahead of Joe Biden at this point:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2024/president/us/general-election-trump-vs-biden-7383.html

And more importantly, some of the polls are now showing Trump ahead of Biden in blue-leaning states such as Pennsylvania. The migrant situation at Southern border seems to be costing the Democrats a lot of votes. But at the same time, the Republican infighting has given them some breathing space. Kevin McCarthy was kicked out as the House speaker yesterday, and GOP seems to be in complete disarray.

Speaking of Wikipedia, that's what I found there about "realclearpolitics":

"In 2020, The New York Times noted that since 2017, when a large number of its straight news journalists were laid off, RealClearPolitics has had a rightward, pro-Trump turn"

And I went to Wiki because I was suspecting something like that. Trump "is back on top" for once, and they are happy to report it.

But Trump is not "well ahead", far from it. Even if we take the data from the same site, realclearpolitics.com, it looks like this:

I wouldn't call it "well ahead", to be honest.

Many sportsbetting sites are not accepting bets on 2024 USA elections right now, so, I can't say what bettors think, unfortunately.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: October 09, 2023, 05:02:25 AM
No. gambling about fun is better than having to make this an income. but I don't blame you for that, in fact in some conditions I have to admit that I was helped by gambling money with small wins. what I see with them is that they gamble by relying on their income from gambling. it will make us addicted, usually that's what I see.

If we win by chance, the additional money won't hurt, that's for sure. But we should never count on it. If we've won from gambling, it only means we were lucky for once, it's great, but let's not turn something great into disaster, because, as you rightly said, we can become addicted and then it may take more money than we won to  get rid of it. We should think in advance about that before planning to make more money through gambling.
997  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: October 09, 2023, 04:25:15 AM
In my opinion, real estate is the safest type of investment, because it is safest, of course the potential profit takes a long time, and currently I prefer to invest in Bitcoin because of the potential profit that can reach 100% or even more in a year.

I think you are right about Bitcoin, but regarding real estate I would rather disagree with you. Please read my posts above. Real estate is not something that for certain will retain its price in the future. You can google "what is the safest investment" and "real estate" will not be in the top 10 even. True, Bitcoin will not be there either, but most of us here are more experienced in Bitcoin market fluctuations than that of real estate, so I think we know more what expect from BTC than from many other so-called "low-risk investments".
998  Economy / Economics / Re: Surge in Bankruptcy Filings And Economic Crisis Vs Recession Vs BTC Price on: October 08, 2023, 12:17:24 PM
Quote
And periods like this historically occur before significant stock market crashes. Will this affect the price of BTC too. If the entire market falls, does it rule out the possibility that there will be a sell off too? and of course BTC will also be affected?

Of course that a stock market crash and a big recession/depression will negatively affect the Bitcoin price.
Bitcoin reached historically high prices in times of very low interest rates, when the financial markets were flooded with newly printed money by the Federal Reserve and the other central banks. The times of "easy money" and low interest rates are gone(for a while) and this leads to multiple companies going bankrupt and to prices of financial assets going down.
We might be witnessing a stock market crash in 2024, but the Federal Reserve will have to stop it by discontinuing the interest rate hikes and start "saving the economy" by pumping more newly printed money into the financial markets.

"For a while" is the key here, in my opinion. Times of low interest rates will be here again, and not once, and at least those times we can expect new all time highs, but not only during those times. The fourth Bitcoin halving is coming. This can incentivize people to buy BTC while it's relatively cheap. Should we believe that Bitcoin will never be over $60k again? I don't think so. We'd been there when BTC reached $1, then $100, then $1,200, then $20k ... Each time skeptics were saying that Bitcoin was grossly overpriced, and yet we all know what happened some time after that.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: October 08, 2023, 11:31:21 AM
It is true that there is nothing to blame books and movies they usually show the real picture of the society. Various writers and film directors have published the happenings in the society in some books and some through pictures. From now on we have to refrain from bad actions with education which takes shape in the society. Self control is the most important thing to reflect the society properly. Justice is easy to achieve if the person properly abstains from dirty deeds.
Writers and film directors show people what is happening in society and warn them about the dangers of gambling. By watching films and reading books, people can at least learn how to control themselves so they don't experience bad things or even commit bad actions. Rather than cheating against the casino, they should not have to go to the casino to get money because they can use other ways to get money. That would be much better than gambling and losing money because instead of losing money, it would be better for them to have the money to buy food or their daily needs.

That's a good lesson, you definitely should not go to the casino to get money. It's good when readers and moviegoer draw a lesson like this. But sometimes books and movies teach that the casinos are cheaters and there's nothing wrong then to cheat on them, and that's a bad lesson, I would say.
1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: October 08, 2023, 09:28:52 AM
~snip~
It happens often, but surely not always. The probability of losing is just slightly higher than  that of winning, so the casino can't  know for sure that if the gambler stays longer he'll lose all his money. We all know that there were cases when very lucky gamblers were asked to leave and were forbidden from entering the casino again. In some cases those gamblers were cheaters, but often they were just lucky and stupid casino managers were afraid of them winning more and more. All this was happening in the past and in land-based casinos. Today online casinos are rather interested in someone's winning big on their platform. Word will spread and more people will be playing on their site, and the volume will do its job for them.

Well, yes, the probability in some games is close to say 50/50, but with a slight advantage to the casinos

Other games have a way larger advantage for the casinos.

There is an online slot, Mega Moolah, and it has an RTP of 88%. Normally, if you want to play in an online poker tournament, you are giving to the house 10% right away, before the game even started. So, it's not 50/50. It's 41/59 in the former case, and 45/55 in the latter. So, you are right, there are games with larger advantage for the casinos. But normally the RTP of online slots is around 96-97%, and the advantage of the casino isn't that high as many gamblers think.
