981  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Religion slowly dying? on: May 25, 2017, 10:10:30 AM
Yes... Anyway I think that things like God and Religion can be separated. For example, I believe in God but not via religion. Just by my own world vision. Why not?  Smiley
Interesting, so how would you explain what is, or who is God to you, and your understanding? Because i also think that teachings of religion needs to be, let say updated Cheesy . I am Orthodox christian and most of things that i reed in books of my religion was almost right, but outdated. But there are other things that i do not like about religion as we know, and that is corruption and greed...
982  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you woke up in 2037, what's the first thing you'd google? on: May 25, 2017, 10:05:26 AM
and you're not allowed to mention anything to do with crypto. that's a given.

Number one I'll check to see why have I slept for 20 years and if I'm in any danger. Once things like that are cleared I'll probably check the situation with the space program. I expect by then humans will already have set foot on Mars. Maybe we'll have even made first contact with aliens, who knows.
Your answer so far has been the most interesting to me i must say. Everything that you said i think it will happen, maybe in far future maybe in near, who knows. But your answers was rational ones, and to be honest that is what i am interested in Cheesy . But one more thing would be interesting, if we could sleep as much as we want, without consequences.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: May 25, 2017, 10:00:59 AM
Nowadays, I am regretting very much for not buying bitcoins when the price was around $250-$300.

I just think now, that if I had invested $10,000 than today I had a good ROI.  Cry Sad
I know the feel. I was sure Bitcoin would be huge someday, but I still sold all my BTC some years ago when I needed some cash. Should have keep it in my wallet and I would have profited 5x by now.
I think that is the thinking that all people who deal with bitcoin have to carry, but do not think you made a mistake, not for one second. Why you may ask, well it simple, you did not lose money, you made more and that is what is important. I have some some bitcoins month ago, when price was on 1200 dollars, if i had known that it will go this far i would not sell in that moment, but i do not regret my actions. Cheesy
984  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: May 23, 2017, 12:50:53 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
I think it would be better for you to watch price rising and falling, wait for the right moment and trade bitcoins. Trading with bitcoin should not be that hard, only solution for you to lose is if price go way down. Why trading you may ask, well because investment needs a lot more money for them to pay off. I mean for some people 200 dollars are big money, but for business its nothing.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 23, 2017, 12:48:23 PM
Miners are getting richer by the day, that means no incentive to fix anything. Its not broken for them.
Yes that is right, but i am not sure what would they think when people stop using there services. People like to earn money and that is main reason why people are dealing with bitcoin. If fee go even more up, people will start to using bitcoin less and less, and that will bring fee down or bitcoin. Something will need to be done in the future about that.
986  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: May 23, 2017, 12:43:08 PM
So I was just surfing the web during my downtime and the internet being a rabbit hole that it is, I realized I got to this page....  http://www.scienceagogo.com/news/20010817233944data_trunc_sys.shtml

Having read Guns, Germs and Steel before (as well as watching the documentary on Youtube), I was really surprised that the difference can be attributed to simple things like frost.

This got me thinking, if you believe the poor countries are already locked in to their fate by the cards dealt them, does this mean they are blameless for their current situation? Did colonialism really messed them up or it simply exacerbated an existing problem? And how can poor countries overcome the challenges to becoming 1st-World?
Well i guess that can happen, i mean one poor country to become rich and prosperous. Even if it was influenced from another country, they still can become better. It would be hard and it would take a lot of time yes, but if people of that country are prepared to sacrifice little bit for the sake of better tomorrow, it is possible.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 23, 2017, 11:50:39 AM
Am I the only one realizing that ~$1 fee to make a transaction is absolutely insane and defeats one of the core benefits of using bitcoin for daily transactions.

This is getting insane and is completely uncalled for, or am I wrong?
You are not wrong, and i absolutely agree with you. It is insane, i mean alike you said, imagine people who use bitcoin daily, it must be hell for them. And the worst part is that, even if you pay that much you will still have problem of transferring. Few days ago i wanted to buy something, and i payed fee of 0.75 dollars or something like that, and it took more than two days for payment to be transferred... I hope they will deal with that, and soon i hope.
988  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Do We Need Kids??? This Planet Is Getting Over Populated Already!!! on: May 23, 2017, 11:10:03 AM
Kids are a gift from the god. It is a criminal offense not to have children.
I am not sure that you got that right mate. I mean about getting children that is. How can children be a gift from a god when we all know how kids are made? I think God has noting to do with that, maybe for some people it is easier to blame it on God i guess. But i do think that people should have children if possible, i do not understand people who say they do not want children...
989  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 23, 2017, 10:56:03 AM
Bitcoin can only be viewed as an electronic currency, widely used on the internet worldwide, but to replace it with a solid currency, this is not possible, the reason being:
1. Bitcoin is an anonymous coin, unable to determine who sent the recipient, leaving the world out of control of the coin!
2. Bitcoin can not impose taxes, which makes it difficult to develop a nation's infrastructure
3. Bitcoin is not safe. Frequent congestion occurs when financial markets are volatile
4. Bitcoin is a perfect place for criminals to conduct transactions, causing global turmoil due to its anonymous ability (ex: terrorism, drug trafficking and weapons, extortion such as viruses. WannaCry ...)

If Bitcoin can overcome the following factors, I think Bitcoin can replace the Dollar, but that's a distant thing.
it could , as time goes by technology will make people feel comfortable ,
but not soon , there is required a long time proccess to make it happen ,
you just listed every single bitcoin abused/vulnerable features ,
doesn't makes any sense for me personally.
I think tittensor is right about bitcoin and replacing of dollar. It have a long way to go before that could happen, and even if it complete all demands like every other fiat currency, it will take too long time. I think that in future there will be one ultimate currency that will be used across the world, and bitcoin could be a starter of that. I mean that ultimate currency will definitely be electronic, but who knows. Cheesy
990  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 23, 2017, 10:51:42 AM
I think the final worth of bitcoin maybe 10,000 to 20,000 dollars each but no one what is the macimum price will bitcoin reach. And I think if its happen few years before that happen. Because this year 2017 the priceof bitcoin will reach around $3000-$4000 maybe because halving is near and hiday season is near also maybe december 2017 the price will hit that price . If hold your bitcoin for few years and if you have 100 bitcoin more and you will sell that for sure you will become millionaire.

we can't compute the max or fnal value it can be for we cant predict the probability that it will grow or not or just increase in same percentage, however we should just enjoy and make the most out of it ,invest now and see how it can be.

That's right without getting worried about the future I think its better to enjoy the joy ride with bitcoins at a moment and in future we can take our decision depending on the situation and as of now almost all users are enjoying good profits and we can expect the same trend even in future.
For some people future of bitcoin is really important. People who invested a lot of money into bitcoin would not agree with you guys, and by that i mean to let go and enjoy the ride, unless they have money for trowing away xD . For small sums you can enjoy it, make some trades and just have fun with it, but with much bigger sums... well it is not the same Cheesy . But i agree that the price of bitcoin can not be predicted.
991  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: May 23, 2017, 09:50:00 AM
In my opinion drinking alcohol cause some trouble to us. Some accidents is cause of drinking lot of alcohol. It's better to control it and not to drink to much. I just drink alcohol for some occasion, and family/friends bonding.

Consume at any quantity. But please stay at home after that. Some people think that they can do whatever they want after gulping half a bottle of vodka. 50% of all the traffic accidents are caused by such people.
Yes, i totally agree with you, i do not know why people drive while drunk or even go with their cars to place when they know they will drink alcohol. I do not understand those people. Every time i go out, before i go out i ask my self will i drink alcohol, if i would drink i would go on foot or by taxi. It is not that complicated. From time to time i heard people complain how they ruined their car... while they were drunk... just stupid.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 23, 2017, 09:03:52 AM
Nothing alts have chances against bitcoin because bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency that buy anything alts. And they used bitcoin everytime they want to buy altcoin or they exchanged altcoin to bitcoin so nothing reasons.
I think it is too excessive when altcoin has the possibility to shift the bitcoin from cryptocurrency number 1? Because I think bitcoin is too superior. And will be very difficult to replace
Well i agree with you guys about position and strength of Bitcoin, and i hope that there will be nothing that can shift position and current situation of bitcoin to worst. But unfortunately there are things that can hurt bitcoin a lot, like this problem with old way of mining, and old miners. If that continue, maybe there is a chance for some other altcoin to rise and become stronger than bitcoin, but that is long way. Or maybe bitcoin can become so slow to transfer so that people start using some altcoin.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 21, 2017, 10:04:28 PM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act
I do not want to say that you are wrong, i mean it could happen that this will be start of more and more ciber attacks. But i do not think that it is untracable. There is always a way, and not to speak that if it becomes a problem in the future, it would be dealth one way or another. Bitcoin has made a long way to this point, and it will be hard to die after so long.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IT happened: ETH miners mine ~5.2m$ daily while BTC miners 3.6M$ on: May 21, 2017, 09:56:25 PM
As far as i know, bitcoin is strongest and widest used cryptocurrency in the world. That is now only for show. There are other cryptocurrency as well , but i think they will not become stronger than bitcoin. There is long future ahead of bitcoin, and i hope it will last long to meke us able to make some money ☺ . But it could happen that bitcoin die, i mean everything is possible, but i hope it wont.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 21, 2017, 09:46:14 PM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
It could happen duo to popularity of bitcoin and cryptocurency that some altcoin rise, but there is low probability that it will indanger or replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is too strong and getting even stronger, day by day. I do not think that any altcoin can replace bitcoin... not in near future that is.
996  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anyone else done with this BTC game? on: May 21, 2017, 09:38:52 PM
I'm out of this. I've mined and traded for hundreds of bitcoins since 2013. Got rid of a lot of that in the past year during the climb but this past few months is just ridiculous. There is no reasonable expectation for the price to stay high, and "hope" for even higher prices can't possibly outweigh the potential loss if this doesn't work out.
I can't be alone in thinking, enough is enough. I see so many posts by guys with one or ten btc, hoping for astronomical numbers, but where are the rest of the people like me who had a few hundred and can actually do something with that now. I wish I'd started mining a year or two earlier when I first heard of it. If I was sitting on a few thousand BTC right now, holding half of that and cashing out half makes sense. But where I was, keeping a few for some dream number doesn't really make a difference in my life.

I never got into altcoins enough to matter, although it would have been nice to put a few grand into ETH last year, but it's just another useless product that could have failed like so many others, and I doubt I would have held it through 5-10x increases.

So what do you guys say. Is this it for you? This is more than I'd ever imagined to get from BTC. This could turn around in a few days if people catch another panic selloff. Are you being greedy? Am I just dumb for wanting to enjoy life now?
I think that everything that you wrote is reasonable enough. If you have realy made that much money, and you have feeling that you need to step down from stage, i would say you have earned ti. Do everything you feel like doing, and enjoy product of your hard work. I have start dealing with the bitcoin maybe more than half a year now, so i have much to do before i come at your point ☺ . Personaly, i will ctick a bit longer with bitcoin. Wish you happy life mate. 😊
997  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: May 21, 2017, 09:31:00 PM
Well it is always like that. I had my doubts few days ago, i was asking my self should i sell now or should i wait for even higher price. Because i had little bitcoin on my account i decited to hold on it for a while, and it turn out i was right. Every time when you sell and make possitive earning, that is good trade, it is only bad if you lose. At least that is what i think ☺ .
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 21, 2017, 09:24:53 PM
Well to be totally honest, i think no one can tell how much will end price of bitcoin be. But i think that there will be a lot of fluctuation in bitcoin price before it settle down. If we take dollar as a foundation, i think bitcoin price will not go over 5000 dollars. But end price could be a lot less, but that depends on stability of dollar it self.
999  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: May 21, 2017, 07:51:24 PM
In fact, the society has always been divided about whether the death penalty is needed or not. But when choosing your opinion, you need to take into account how many people of innocent people can be killed by a court verdict or, on the contrary, an overstated measure of punishment.
Well i think that those losses can be acceptable. Because people would be more careful what they do and where they go. That would mean that there would be more rightly judged, than those of wrongly judged. Just an knowing that death penalty exis would bring crime percent down.

Bitcoin and Porn: An Extraordinary Mix
http://bitforum.info/t/bitcoin-and-porn-an-extraordinary-mix/284

I really don't know that porn sites are allowing bitcoin payment.

Well, anyone here knows other 'unusual' sites who are accepting bitcoin as payment?
Well i never think about paying for porn, but its understandable, i mean why not. Personally i would never pay, but that is just me. And why would not they accept bitcoin as way of payment. I mean bitcoin is getting stronger and stronger every day, more and more people are using it, and even stores has started accepting bitcoin as way of payment. Why would not porn industry Cheesy .

I wonder how many folks in the porn industry have been accepting bitcoin as a form of payment, not because they believe in the value of bitcoin or that its value would increase over time, but just for another payment method....that have become millionaires from the rise in value over the last couple years.
You are right about what you said. For now bitcoin is nothing more than way of payment to every industry, but i do not know some porn site that accept bitcoin as way of payment. But i believe that it won't be long befor they accept bitcoin as way of paying.
