981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Satoshi Emails on: August 11, 2017, 09:54:06 PM
@CipherionX That is a wonderful project and keep them rolling,it is a new input for me personally as i have never seen this documentation and emails earlier,it is really good to read their communication when it all started and i would like to see more details and persons coming forward with their early communication with the legend.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My experience with bitcoin ATM. Had to wait as was in use. on: August 11, 2017, 09:30:04 PM
When will we stop needing cash? ATMs will always belong to someone? who should it be or should it be anyone at all?
Does it matter if you could sell and buy bitcoin through ATM,i am not sure about the fees they are charging, but if the fees are fair and square then certainly many will use that facility to deal bitcoin,we need to have more bitcoin ATM throughout the country and it is a really good thing to see progress.
983  Economy / Economics / Re: The Feds Are Terrified Of Cryptocurrencies... But They're Powerless To Stop Them on: August 10, 2017, 10:43:16 PM
I think they are not really afraid. They have the legal power and I know that they can do what they want. Bitcoin is a big money and I am sure that they are just waiting for the right time to attack. We should all be ready for any situations.
What do you think you will do if the government bans certain digital currencies,i am sure no one will use them because of the fear of going to the prison and getting tortured  Cheesy The amount of money raised for these ICO are a worrying factor for most of the countries as they will find a way to monitor every investor in the future in the name to counter terrorism.  Grin
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 10, 2017, 10:25:17 PM
Sick of all these MMA fans saying boxing is on a decline. Please do your homework before making remarks that are well off the mark. 80,000 fans watched Froch and Groves in Wembley. 90,000 watched  AJ v Vlad in Wembley.

As for PPV buys,  Mayweather v Pacquiao got 4.6 million buys. McGregor v Diaz got 1.6 million buys. So MMA's biggest fight ever is dwarfed by boxings.

Boxing has got loads of top money makers when it comes to PPV.  MMA has only one in McGregor, and yes only because he's got a big mouth. So when he retires which will be on 26th august, MMA can go back to being a minority sport.
The reason people say that boxing is on a decline is simply because there are not that exciting matches in boxing ,we had a few now, glad they are giving what the fans want and that is how it should be,boxing always had big numbers when it comes to big names and that is not a very big surprise,i would like to know the PPV numbers of other main events in the past ten years which pulled these kind of numbers.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SUCCESS - Dumped BCH for BTC, thanks Bitmain! on: August 10, 2017, 09:10:30 PM
Clever solution. Separated from bitcoin, altcoyin BCC continues to fall in price and soon depreciates completely. Therefore, translating it into bitcoin is the right decision. I did not have a BCC, so I can not tell about my similar history.
If you look at the price today ,yes the price went down, but for two days i was having a good rally and crypto currency is all about volatility ,never expect any coin to go up all the time, people book their profit and the rally will continue at a later time, i am yet to completely sell off my coins even though i sold almost 6 BCH when it crossed 0.15 btc day before yesterday,so its good for me,i might collect a few when the price goes down.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After fork happenings for you on: August 10, 2017, 08:51:02 PM
So guys, i was just wondering, what good or bad effects did the bitcoin fork gibe you??
Good day.
If you checked the price difference then you could understand the major difference and the transaction price have come down ,but the negative thing about it is ,the exchanges and web wallets are still charging higher fees and it looks like they have ignored this change and give the customers the real benefit.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 09, 2017, 08:04:30 PM
where should i invest and why ?
Go to coinmarketcap.com
Buy $5000 worth of each coin from 1st to 100
Save it in a secure offline wallet
Check back after 1 year or so Smiley
It is a good idea, but i wont trust the coins other than the top ten,the rest of the coins are just coins to fill in the numbers Cheesy and you never know whether those coins will exist a few years from now.If OP really have those kind of money,he should hire a financial advisor and let them do the analysis rather than coming here with a blind eye. Tongue Learn about all these coins and then make a decision rather than hearing someone else opinion.
988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 09, 2017, 07:47:54 PM
You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
There is nothing to worry because you just did not miss anything ,even if you purchased it you would have sold everything when it crossed $15 or $20 ,so the idea of loosing a million dollar dream is just a dream and most of the people just dream that they missed out when it was open to the public and they were simply not interested in buying it then. Tongue
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 04, 2017, 06:04:35 PM
Yes, Ashwin will be a major threat to Sri Lanka tomorrow. India have a massive first innings score and that is likely to exert pressure as well.
Sri Lanka need a very good partnership to wriggle out of this one.
Srilanka created a spinning wicket against a team who had world class spinners and that is the only thing Srilanka could do to counter the Indian batsmen but when they failed to tackle the Indian batsmen the Indian spinners will play a major role in this match as they could roll out the Srilankan players with the pitch they made.I expect India to win the match without much hurdle.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Media: Bitcoin split is good on: August 04, 2017, 05:33:04 PM
i don't see any problem with bigger blocks. but to do it like this, to fork off when there is no need for it and just to go against the 100% support for SegWit is shouting shady. and then to increase it to 8 MB suddenly not slowly increasing it is another big problem.
add to that the fact that shady people like C.W. is behind it, you can get a better feeling of why these things are going on...
When there is billions of dollars at stake expect big egos and that is what happened here, segwit might be a solution and if anybody thinks that there is a much better solution for the scaling issues ,then we need to split and go towards their values and aims rather than fighting all the time, they did not want segwit and that is the reason we have two coins now.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OH, ahhh!! Now I understand why Bitcoin Cash is called Cash...! on: August 04, 2017, 04:48:00 PM
With all the comedy aside, yes it was free money out of thin air,but the idea is pretty good,if they can scale like they are telling it is a genius way,if billions of people can transact then the technology is really cool than for less than a million like we used to see in the past, lets see how these things go and if they could fulfill what they set out to be,then it would be great.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with BCC on: August 03, 2017, 09:56:23 PM
I also sold them on poloniex Smiley I don`t think that it is reasonable to keep them at the moment. Maybe after September it would be clear, how much they would cost, after it we can have some fun by trading BCC. At the moment it just pumps, dumps and it is really violate Grin
Are you talking about bitcoin cash or any other coin, because poloniex has not even listed the coin and how come you sold them in that exchange. Tongue
I am willing to take the risk to hold it for a longer time as i would like to know its true potential before selling that off,the price rise is promising and i am yet to claim my coins as i would like to learn more about claiming the coins safely.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: What must happen so that cryptocurrencies are less volatile? on: August 03, 2017, 09:18:47 PM
Bitcoin votality can not be controlled, down or rising bitcoin votalities depending on market demand. If there is much market demand. Then bitcoin votality rises. And it makes bitcoin expensive. I think the number of bitcoin users and the growing popularity of bitcoin make this coin rise. Rival other coins. Bitcoin communities often increase, then bitcoin prices rise. If market demand falls then bitcoin prices will also fall. This only happens for a while.
There is volatility in bitcoin because the number of users are limited and that is the reason we need scaling so that more people can use bitcoin and with increased number of users in bitcoin, you could really control the level of volatility, with time and the amount of new users coming into bitcoin we will see the level decreasing.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC transaction? on: August 03, 2017, 09:06:19 PM
It will take almost a week to adjust the network difficulty and start seeing faster transactions ,until then you have to wait a long time to get the transactions done, the team has already notified about the delay in the beginning and so i am waiting for that to be settled before making my move as i do not want to risk my coins.
995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where will you keep your bitcoins on D Day? on: July 29, 2017, 10:48:39 PM
So, August 1st is approaching and everyone is getting a bit nervous. I wonder in which wallets will you keep your bitcoins, which ones you trust the most and know that your coins will be secure and you'll have access to them?
I think we had more than enough discusiion regarding this and finally we are approaching the day of the fork,i really think that we are in safe hands if you keep your coins in your own desktop or mobile wallet and what ever split coins that may appear,i will be getting those and i will gladly hold those too.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: South Korea to Legalize Bitcoin!!!! on: July 06, 2017, 10:39:23 PM
Bitcoin and korea already accept bitcoins in their country. We all want to make all other  countries be legalizes it too. And many of it will accept it as one of the major country.
Quit the nonsense, and pay attention to how you write your posts. Korea haven't yet legalized Bitcoin. I don't understand why people constantly mix up the terms accepting Bitcoin and legalizing Bitcoin.

Merchants accept Bitcoin, governments legalize Bitcoin ~ is it really that difficult to understand? People here only care about governments legalizing Bitcoin, because they think the price will sky rocket as result.
Everyone is glued at the price of bitcoin and everyone is happily looking forward for all these governments to legalize bitcoin,i am still not a fan of giving all the control over to the government, because i started using bitcoin because of the freedom i have with my coins,i am a bit worried whether these regulations will take away the freedom i enjoy now.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 06, 2017, 09:41:21 PM
I just did not notice that there was a match today,India just folded West Indies in this match after a terrible performance in the last match, fast bowlers took all the wickets and Kohli scored a century against a weak bowling team ,i wish to see him perform against quality bowling. Wink
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Pump-dump groups? on: July 06, 2017, 08:39:06 PM
I'm starting to see a lot of threads regarding pump and dump groups in the forums with some links to the Telegram groups associated with them. With all honesty, what do you think about these groups and do you support them?
Is it really possible to manipulate the markets like they advertise, you need a good amount of money to do that, may be they could manipulate the low volume coins, other than that it could not work in the high volume coins,i am not a member of any of these groups so i am not sure how they work.
999  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: July 06, 2017, 08:23:46 PM
It will be very difficult to tell if they are actually spamming or a real user having a conversation with another user. Since the forum is new, everybody has a brand new account. And there could be a thread where people have a discussion which seems legit, but its actually the exact same individual "talking to himself" at different times of the day.

The more and more busy the forum gets the easier it will be to get away with it. Since the rewards aren't that large it shouldn't be too much of an issue at the beginning however.
Really good to see that the forum is getting good traction now and they have increased the perks and i am sure it will attract more users to their forum site and i am surprised to see more users in the site when i visited recently ,why did they change the point system which was implemented earlier, either way i like the current system.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADX]*NEW* AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Exchange on: July 04, 2017, 11:21:49 PM
Why until now adex price is not to moon, lol, someone there wants to try new ico on yobit? Seems promising https://yobit.net/en/ico/timer/
Is there any profitable ICO being conducted in yobit. It is just a shady exchange in my opinion as you could see many coins only listed in that site,so i will pass this one too as i have wasted some money in the site before and i wont make the same mistakes twice.  Tongue I am waiting for the price to start moving when it is listed in major exchanges.
